Walking around Kyle was still tired. Last night was torture and now people besides gabben knew his secret. It wasnt good. he didnt know what to do about it anndd.. then there was Christine. She had told him how he felt last night and he had just stood there. Mostly out of exhaustion but also out of shock. He had ben thinking about it since he woke up this afternoon and still didnt know what to do. Now he was aimlessly walking about the castle. he came across a room he didnt know and opened the door. "Ahh!" he called when he saw Chrsitine in there. He wasnt expecting anyone to be in there. "Sorry you scared me." he said with a laugh.

Yes because I am oh so very frightening Chrisitne said while trying to make her face as scary as possible. She folded the corner on the page she was on and closed the book. She put it down on the floor next to her and looked up at Kyle. So, last night was interesting she said to him, gesturing for him to come take a seat next to her.

Kyle smiled at her scary face.. "O yeah suuupppern scary." he said laughing as he walked over and sat down next to her. He looked at the book she was reading. Werewolves. He should have known. "Yeah.. sorry but i guess thats why im not scared of you. Or maybe one of the reasons" he said shrugging still looking at the book.

Christine saw Kyle looking at the book she was reading. She picked it up and held it against her chest. Well, I didn't know werewolves were real she told him hoping he would understand why she had the book. I grew up with muggles, and, well the werewolves we have in movies look like really hairy people and they dont like silver. I didn't even realize you turned into a wolf until Kayla said it. Christine stopped to take a breath. She was nervous, and talking really fast. I dont really know anything about werewolves, and I was curious, thats why I got this she said as she held the book up. I didn't know if you would want to talk about it or want to talk to me so I went to the library.

Kyle looked over at her feeling a bit reluctant to talk about being a werewolf but he knew that he would have to sooner or later. He sighed. "You actually couldnt tell i was a werewolf? I had hair all over me.. sure i wasnt on all fours and i didnt have a full mane of hair but.. really?" he asked her with a laugh. "I got bitten.. a year ago. I didnt want to tell you but i guess id dint have to since .. well since i kinda showed you."

Christine felt kind of stupid for not knowing that Kyle had turned into a werewolf. I've sort of live a sheltered life away from magic. My mom went out of her way to make sure I didn't know anything about it at all, so I wasn't sure what had happened to you. Christine looked down at her hands not knowing what to say. Well I guess I can understand why you didn't tell me. I wasn't to quick to tell you what I can do, and you dont really know much about it, I mean there is some really bad stories I have...... but this isn't about me right now she said jumbling her words together. So how does this work. Is it like the muggle movies and happens at full moons? Is it permanent? Because in our movies, it you kill the one who bit you then you go back to normal...... Christine stopped talking. She was nervously talking nonsense. I'm sorry...... I just dont know anything about this....... and well I mean its not like it matters. I dont think of you differently because of this. She wanted kyle to understand that she didn't care if he was a werewolf, or a flemingo, she was still here for him, and she always would be.

Kyle smiled at her interest. SHe would probably know more about werewolvess than he did if she kept readi about them. "Well i dunno exactly. i know every month that a turn into a werewolf at the full moon and that when i take y medicine it makes me weak so i dont go off hunting anyone. My friend Gab watches over me and then the next day when im recooperating he will grab my notes and things from my class. I dont know if i will ever not be a werewolf again but i do know that its not true if you kill the one that made you a werewolf that you will turn human again. And truthfully, im kinda glad that you know. That way you wont be looking for me the next day after a full moon."

Christine mulled over what he had just said. Do you think you would attack me? she asked a little confused at that last thing he had said. I think if i got scared enough you wouldn't be able to touch me. She told him knowing that it was true. She had experience with something similar to that, and they couldn't get within two feet of her.

"Im not capable of controlling myself when the wolf takes over. Im submerged inside the bast unable to get out until the morning.. It.. sucks big time cause i know what im doing but i cant stop it. i have some control over the beginning but no matter what i do, i cant stop it." he explained looking down at his feet. "But if i wanted to get to you, i could werewolves are strong, super strong. Stronger than most things are. So i could take lightening bolts or things being thrown at me while in the wolf form." he said shrugging. he wanted her to know the truth.

Christine chewed on her lower lip. She had a feeling where this conversation was heading, and she didnt like it at all. I hope you're not trying to get rid of me because its not going to work. So what you turn into some big hairy wolf, who would probably eat me if you had the chance. Christine took her hand and put in underneath his chin, and lifted his head so he was looking at her. I know what its like to be different, to be treated like a freak. For people to be scared to be around you. I'm not going to do that to you. You need people around you who care about you, dispite the fact that you're a werewolf. And I will be there for you, and if you want to get rid of me, well then you're just going to have to eat me she told him with a smirk on her face.

The poor poor little girl. She had no idea what she was getting herself into. "Ok if you think you can last. then.." his voice trailed off. He couldnt think of anything to say to her that would make her go away from him running in terror. HE himself wasnt bad, the monster that came out once amonth was. He sighed but looked to her. "But i think we need to talk about something else."

Confusion spread across Christine's face. We need to talk about something else? She asked him. She started to chew on her lower lip, trying to figure out what it could be. Then a light bulb went off in her head, and she thought she knew what this was going to be about.

"Yeah. You.. um.. you like me?" he started off not very strong. This was difficult. "Chris, your like my best friend and i dont want to hurt you but .. i just.. dont feel romanticaly attached to you. I mean i HAVE to see you cause you brighten up my day but.. i dont feel romantically attached. I hate when i dont see you and wonder why that is but.. i also do that with Gabben. Please dont hate me but.. " Kyle looked down at his twiddling fingers. he didnt know how she was going to take it and it was hard enough to say, expecially when he thought that it might hurt her.

Christine was dreading this conversation. She had hoped that maybe he would chalk up what happened the other night to being dead tired. She knew that Kyle saw her as only a friend, and she didn't want to mess up their friendship. Hey, it's no problem she said as she nervously shifted on her feet. It has been a long night, you know, and I think I was a little delirous from lack of sleep, and I dont know what I said that, and.... Christine was talking so fast, it sounded as if she had made all of that into one word. Yeah, no problem at all...... hehehehehe she laughed nervously

Now Kyle felt HORRIBLE here he was obviously hurting his friends feelings. "Im sorry Chris. I really am. You dont know how much i wish i did like you. But you cant help who you like. Like you cant help that you like me... of all people. This retarded loud mouth boy beside you." he said smiling at her trying to make her feel les uncomfrotable. "Really, i am. But your beautiful, funny, and great. so dont worry." man those words sounded bad. But there wasnt much he could say..

I dont think you're retarded she mumbled. Christine fidgeted again on her feet. She felt awkward. She wanted to go run off and get swallowed up by a black whole. But she knew if she did that it would make Kyle feel horrible. Kyle..... Really, dont worry about it, you dont owe me anything.... and I.... um....... Christine's feelings of awkwardness built up so much that the door of the glass trophy case next to the shattered. Oh crap she said shaking her head.

The glass shattered and splattered on the floor and Kyle sighed. "I really do feel horrible. i know i was the cause of that.." he sighed looking around. He hated hated HATED making her feel this way. It was like .. a part of him was feeling what she was feelin as well.

Christine pulled out her wand, pointed it towards the broken glass and said Reparo. The peices of glass fixed themselves, and the trophy case was whole again. Kyle.... can you PLEASE stop blaiming yourself. It's making me feel bad and I dont want to distroy anything else. She put her wand back in her back pocket and looked up at Kyle, not knowing what to say.

Kyle laughed. "Your worried about me? When Im worrying about you?" he asked shaking his head. This is why he loved this girl.. just not in love. He sighed. Why couldnt it be that way? "Ok ok. ill smile!" he said blarig out the most fake smile anyone had ever seen on a person. This made him really laugh though.

Christine sook her head at Kyle. Yeah I really bought that smile. She told him as a smile spread across her face. Kyle had this ability to clam her down, make her feel ok no matter what she was feeling before. But they were destined to be friends, and friends only. She would have to accept that, because she needed him in her life, if not for him being an awesome person, for his ability to keep her from blowing everything around her up. She walked over to him and put he arm around his shoulder. You know what. I'm glad you're my friend.

Kyle smiled. That last sentence would stay with him forever and ever. Even past his grave. "Well.. that was unexpected. But thank you!" he said giving her a smile the he dedicated only for her. "I'm glad your my friend. but friends forever?" he asked with a smirk.

Christine laughed at the last thing he said. Yeah, we can get one of those BFF necklaces and everything she told him sarcastically. Can you promise me one thing? she asked him seriously. Don't try to get rid of me

Kyle smiled but nodded. "Im never going to anyways so i dont find the reason to try." he told ehr truthfully with a smile. "But you know, those braclets sound like.. a doll!" he said smirking at her and wiggled his eyebrows playfully. "And you promise me one thing.. dont ever run away from a werewolf." he said laughing. But seriously. never do.

No problem she told him laughing. Next time I see a werewolf I will run right towards them, arms wide open. She told him shaking her head. Just promise not to eat me, no matter how delicious I look She told him while playfully punching his shoulder.

Kyle laughed he couldnt help it. It was funny. "Well you know.. dont do that." he said grinning. "Just dont run away. It taunts them." Or me.. He shook his head but grinned anyway.
