And it was time to practice already! YAY!
Evangeline stopped twirling her wand around in her fingers, in order to ... well, perform the spell! Shrowan and jab your wand at the target. Hmmmmm. It sounded easy enough, but then again, very rare things didn't.
Whether or not they were easy, though, it was a complete different story.
She eyed the target on the wall infront of her and made sure no one was aiming that way. Merlin knew what a collision of arrows could provoke. Forehead wrinkling in concentration, Evangeline jabbed her wand at the target, aiming from the centre. "Shrowan!" She securely said at the same time of the jabbing.
Hmmmm.
Well, she had hit a target.
Two bad it hadn't been hers.

Freya thought as she watched her second arrow soar right over the top of the target. 'As though that first attempt hadn't been enough of a disgrace already...' She shook her head and aimed her dark cherry wand again, 'Shrowan' This time the arrow flew out and hit the red bullseye, but again, it was to the left. 'What is with me today?' Now she was becoming frustrated, her aim was usually much better. 'Maybe my shoulders are crooked....'

Hogwarts RPG Name: Margaret Jacqueline Atkinson Morris Fifth Year | Potter’s Princess A+ FangGirl Melina was close to the point of hyperventilation when Clifford snickered at her. Body and mind completely focused on his moves, she twirled around on the spot as he joined the others in the line, taking advantage of that small moment to pick a random pair of googles and adjust it hastily to her face, not even noticing the blue-ish tone that was covering her body.
Once she found the Slytherin boy safely away, she finally made her way towards the line. However, since she hadn't been one of the first to do it, the only spot she had was... uh oh... it was right next to Clifford. Body tense from head to toe, she slowly made her way towards the line, trying to keep her breathing as normal as possible and failing miserably.
Shakily raising her wand, Melly glanced from the bulls-eyes to Clifford and back to the bulls-eyes. "Sh-sh-sh-shrow-w-wan," She whispered. The only result of her attempt was another glance at Clifford. This was not good.

| Wowza! Sure one of the girl's favourite subjects was Transfiguration, and sure this was one of the classes she was actually good at, but the fact that there would be arrows coming out of her wand did not please her much.
And if that was not enough, now everyone was covered in blue. . . bubbles.
Naturally, it looked perfectly fine on her --or so she thought--, but Willow, as observant as she was, soon noticed that it didn't look particularly flattering on some of her classmates. Well, it really was not her problem. As long as it looked good on her. . . And then, thoughts that should not be going through her head did, and Willow had to shake her head quickly as she mentally scolded herself.
Wrinkling her nose for a bit at all the glasses before her, she swiftly curled her fingers around a pair that she considered wouldn't look completely dreadful on her, put them on with a somewhat resgined expression on her face, and then proceed to make her way to the left wall and stand behind the line Professor Pierce had made.
Taking out her birch wand, the girl flicked one lock of hair out of her shoulder, and waited for further instructions.
Upon hearing them, she nodded one short nod to herself. Shrowan. Right. "Shrowan!" Mused the girl confidently, jabbing her wand at the place she wanted her arrow to go. Nothing happened. She cleared her throat, and tried once again, "Shrowan!" The second the words came out of her mouth, the arrow came out and. . . completely missed the target. Her forest green eyes narrowed, as she gave the target she had missed, a scornful look.
Hmph. Perhaps she needed to practice the jabbing movement a few times before actually trying the spell.

Time to give it another go, Kayla did her best to focus on the bullseye on the target. She jabbed her wand once again and said the incantation, "Shrowan." This time she was able to follow the arrow's flight and it managed to hit the target but only just. It was way off to the right. Hmm...why was she finding this so hard when she could handle a bow and arrow with ease?

"Go ahead, you try." Ahhhh Flying arrows!!! Instinctivly Melanie ducked. Forget about the orb thingys! Giant arrow= hide and run, run and hide. She slowly pulled herself back up. Right incantation, Transfiguration, flying sharp pointy objects... Melanie scowled. She felt like a coward... and she knew she was being one. what did they expect though with arrows and the flying and ARGG!
Melanie took a deep strangled breath and picked her wand up off the table. She closed her eyes, trying to keep out the noises and sight of the other students ... shooting arrows! Yipes! Melanie took yet another deep breath, opened her eyes, and searched for the bulls eye. Her eyes finnally laid sight on the target. "Shrowan." she said, but the word shaked slightly and out came a piece of bark. Welll... that didn't work right. Melanie sighed with relief. At least it didn't cause me bodily pain. |

Oh wait. Scratch that. He wasn't the only failure.
The sixth year gigglesnorted in amusement when Mellie screwed up her spell too. "What? Have I got something on my face?" He asked, raising an eyebrow when he noticed the way the kid kept looking at him. It was kinda creepy. "Or is it just my ridiculously good looks?"

Cam stared again at his blue-sphere-ish bubble around him and wished it would be dark green. Slytherin color, he loved it. But sadly it wasn't the time to argue so he pointed his wand straight. Before doing the spell he closed one of his eyes to pinpoint where the middle-thingy was. He was more of like a sniper with a stick in his hand. "Shorewan!" There seemed to be great excitement coming from inside of him but it all disappeared when realizing that his spell failed. It was like watching Jackie Chan fall down in one of his stunts but it was good that the other students were failing too. Which was not good... I think I should do more on the jab. "Shrowan! he said saying the incantation and doing the jab about right. But the only thing that happened was that some sort of disfigured arrow come out of his wand and only flew for about a few inches.
I suck.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Margaret Jacqueline Atkinson Morris Fifth Year | Potter’s Princess A+ FangGirl "Sh-sh-shrowan," Melly attempted again, jabbing her wand in a way that, well, didn't exactly look like jabbing due to the slowness of the movement. But it wasn't her fault she was failing at it in such a way! It was Clifford's! He was going to take revenge on her in ANY moment. How could she lift her chin and perform the spell as if nothing was happening? And -
EEP! Jumping on the spot, she turned her head so quickly towards him that it actually hurt. At once, the red color of her hair invaded her cheeks. Oh why wouldn't Tinkerbelle just pop in there and powder her with a bit of pixie dust so that she could fly away from there and be safe from the scary boy?
And what was she supposed to say or do anyway? "N-n-no," She murmured once he was done, too scared to tell him which was the question she was answering.

| Double Agent Stamps! Abby watches Professor Pierce walk to the center of the room and dare them to shoot an arrow at her. "You're sure it's safe professor?" Abby points her wand at Professor Pierce, says, "Shrowan", and does a jabbing point at Professor Pierce's heart. An arrow appears out of the end of Abby's wand and heads in a straight direction. It's destination Professor Pierce's chest. The arrow make it to the peremeter of of Professor Pierce's shield charm and falls to the ground. Abby lets out a sigh of relief. |

| The REAL Sorting Hat: "Ravenclaw!" This monkey is bananas. Getting up off the floor, William looked around noticing how easy it seemed decided to try and say the incantation without his wand. He wanted to be ready; and if that meant he was the last one to get the spell right, then so be it. "Shrowan!" he muttered, over and over again, trying to get the pronunciation right.
At this, he watched as the professor walked into the middle of the firing area, his face blanched slightly. "Um, ok..." he said, his eyes looking for something he couldn't find. Sending a quick prayer to the chocolate frogs sitting in his bag he turned to face her somewhat and sighed. May as well if she said it was okay he thought, pointing his wand in her general direction and saying "Shrowan!" in a clear voice as he jabbed his wand. An arrow shot out, wobbling horribly as it shot towards her, then seemed to bounce off her shield and land on the floor.

Melanie looked slightly skeptical. She looked around hoping someone else would volunteer. Her bark wouldn't help much anyway... maybe she could carve an arrow into it. And maybe I can just be a sqib and carve wood into little tiki's to keep forever and ever. I can name them to. There was no way she was going to be the one to send arrows at Professor Pierce. There was no way she was sending arrows anywhere if she didn't get this spell down. Stupid bark. She thought, glaring at the piece of wood at her feet. |

Wow, Professor Pierce was slightly crazy (scratch that, she was insane) to have the students fire arrows at her, but there was a protection spell on her. Amanda stepped near the line and took aim. "Shrowan" She said and an arrow fired from her wand, its destination was Professor Pierce's left shoulder, the arrow came in contact with the spell and it fell to the ground.

Oooh the Professor was now the target, this should make things a little easier. Now that she didn't have to aim at a little dot on a board, she had the whole of Professor Pierce's body to aim at. Now let's see aim at the heart or the head? Kayla raised her wand and closed one eye to get a better lock on her target. "Shrowan" she said and giving her wand a jab making sure to keep her wand steady as she did this. The arrow shot from her wand like...well like an arrow and headed straight for Professor Pierce. Yes!! If it had of made contact, it would have hit the Professor straight between the eyes...she loved this spell!

| Double Agent Stamps! Satisfied everyone is safe from her arrows, Abby decides to do a silent charm. She points her wand at a target, makes a jabbing motion, and thinks Shrowan over and over in her mind. It takes longer than when she says the incantation out loud, but eventually an arrow shoots out of her wand. It almost makes it to the bulls-eye. It's about two colors off the center. |

Barry drew his wand and pointed it to the wall "Shrowan" said Barry and a arrow emerged from his wand and headed towards the target, it hit but not a bullseye which ment it was next to loosing, still the spell was useful if the target was in close range.

| The REAL Sorting Hat: "Ravenclaw!" This monkey is bananas. He sighed loudly as it appeared she was okay. At least he know knew it couldn't hurt him if anything came near him. And he didn't get into trouble, a double bonus. With a more stronger view on this whole shooting arrows out of his wand thing he took aim at a bulls-eye nearest him, one that appeared as if no one else was using and stared - no glared - at it. "Shrowan!" He shouted, concentration on his face as he jabbed his wand in the vicinity of the bulls-eye.
An arrow shot out of the wand, aiming straight for the bulls -eye. It seemed to loose strength near the end and bounced off the bulls-eye. At least he hit it he figured pumping his fist into the air. Pointing his wand at the bulls-eye again, and thinking perhaps if he closed his eye and took proper aim he'd hit it and make it stick. Jabbing his wand he said "Shrowan!" in a loud voice, his little squeaky voice full of conviction as he said it. Again an arrow shot out, this time speeding down the empty space towards the target. It hit it, two colors towards the center.
"Yes!" he exclaimed happily grinning as he watched it stick.

She looked up at the Professer Pierce trying to stand stick straight. To tell the truth she looked a bit like an army recruit. Mel was nervous though. She hadn't exactly talked one on one with a teacher yet and it had to be now that her wand was spitting bark. "I- I'm not sure I'm saying it quite right..." Melanie said uncertainly. "See." She started to make a motion for the teacher to move over, but stopped herself. She made a short jab with her wand. "Shrow- on." she said, watching another pice of bark fall to her feet. she had a strong urge to kick it across the room, but figured that wasn't the wisest decision...

Lyra placed her protective glasses on and walked over to where she would be aiming her wand towards the wall. "Shrowan," she jabbed her wand in the direction of where she wanted it aimed at the wall. She watched as an arrow shot out, aiming straight for the spot she was looking at. OH! This is fun!
She decided to try it again, this time as a silent spell. Shrowan! She aimed her wand again, and it aimed slightly to the side of where she was trying for, she knew she had to practice the silent way a little more.

Jake smiiiiiiiled... possibly a tad evilly. But just a tad. He raised his wand and got as far as "Shro-" before he realised he had to check it. Eyeing that purdiful multi-coloured frog sticker on the end on the wand facing the targets, Jake was thankful he hadn't blasted an arrow towards himself. Because that was definitely happening. Totally.
Yup... wand was the wrong way round, but it was alot more helpful to find out how with the sticker there from Professor Ashby the Sticker Merchant. Jake turned his wand around and tried again. "Shrowan!!!!!" he tried, speaking clearly.
Ooh, he felt it! He was feeeeeling the maaaaaagic! Come on, someone play the Rocky music, an arrow was a-comin'. CoughSplutter... Cough.
Jake eyed his wand as the dark smoke came out of it instead of the almighty arrow. What? Whyyyyyyyy? Pssshhh, not so much as a spark, this time. As his wand wheeeeeeezed, Jake decided to give the poor thing a breather, until he was sure it would cope with his super brilliant magical ability.
Not.

With wide eyes and breath held, Anna watched as several students took aim at the professor. Gryffindor or not, Anna was definitely not brave enough to try that one. When it was evident that the blue sphere was definitely arrow-proof, Anna released the breath she'd been holding and got back to work. She raised her wand once again, jabbed it forward, and called out, "Shrowan!" An arrow shot from her wand and headed straight towards the bulls-eye. "Success!" Anna squealed to herself, seeing that the arrow had finally hit the bulls-eye.
