Walking into the classroom, Liz finds a seat and sits down. Taking out her Transfiguration book, a parchment, quill and ink, she sets herself ready for class.

Jack figited boredly, he was starting to get a headache, oh, then it happened again, someone was thinking, this time, it was Melanie, someone he could react to, he shrugged at her and gave her a small wink, she'd know what he was doing, to anyone else it looked like he was making random movements.

Sakura had been mostly silent while other students walked into the classroom, being quiet made it easier to observe people. The person she'd been observing up until this point hadn't seemed to notice her at all though which had her considerably peeved. Especially when he was laughing and winking at a girl. A girl who quite clearly. was.not.her.

Obviously she was frustrated, so frustrated in fact that she was just about ready to jump from her seat and throttle Jack. Well maybe not throttle but it definitely wouldn't be pretty if he didn't stop with the winking.

It was irrational she knew, after all he had said that he cared for her and they were going out. But still, that didn't mean she couldn't get jealous, or that she wouldn't get jealous. No matter how many times she said that she didn't do jealousy when it came to her man winking at another girl, she had every right.

'Zzzzzzz' Patricia snored, chin still propped on her hand, a drop of drool slowly running from one corner of her mouth. The 'leaning tower of Malkin' her mother used to say when she'd do it at the dinner table. Of course she'd be wide awake after her mother had whispered it to her ear; solidly insulted, denying she had done it. Her brother would snicker from the other side of the table too.

But right now, she slumbered gently, totally oblivious to all that was around as she snored once more. And then mumbled... and another snore came after that.

Kayla glared at each and every Hufflepuff that was talking and she couldn't keep quiet any longer. "Oi, the Professor said no chatting!! So Meredith, Melanie, Cadence, Elan, Ana and Maddox be quiet" she gave Maddox a look as if to say you should know better. If any of them lost points, she was going to hunt each of them down.

Rachel had wondered off to somewhere and came crashing back down to earth as she heard Kayla's authorative voice. Blinking, she looked around at the mass of chattering students and shot a disapproving glare at all the Ravenclaws. "As the Hufflepuff prefect just pointed out, please don't talk. The professor has left instructions to sit quietly and wait, so that is what you will do. Understood?" she asked sternly, her eyes very sincere.

She gasped as she heard a little snore coming from the row behind her, turning swifly to wake the student only to find out that the girl was in Ravenclaw!! Prodding her harshly awake, her face screwed up in an angry expression. "Patricia! Patricia, wake up! What do you think you're doing?!" she asked her, completely and utterly horrified. We could lose loads of points because of her!

John Was Proud That The Gryffindor students didn't need a prefect to keep quiet ...
He looked at the the Ravenclaw Prefect that justwokeup the student ..
and threw a littles mile on her way ... laughing at her

Damian entred the Room "Good morning Professor" said he friendy and walked to the right side to a first year Gryffindor "Hi. May I sit here, please?" asked he.

"Sure Thing Mate" John Answered as the ravenclaw asked him ... "but be quiet the teacher asked us not to speak"

"Ok thank" whispered Damian and sat down "I'm Damian" said he fast before packing out his stuff.

john shooshed damian ...
"shhh" with his finger at his mouth

Damian openend his book and read a little bit in it while waiting.

Edie looked around and cringed at the Ravenclaw student that had fallen asleep. Thank goodness for her house prefect. Well, Edie was determined not to speak unless need be such as when the Professor asked her something. She had her quill, ink and parchment ready and was eager to start the lesson.

Angela was anxious about the room. It was really organized. Finding her seat, she glanced some few Ravenclaws in the room. She took an empty seat beside someone who looked some years older than her. She whispered, "Oh..hi.." She then took out her quill, ink and some parchment, too. She felt both excited and nervous about another lesson.

Elan looked confused, but as the professor had begun class, he couldn't ask about it. He still didn't know everything about the wizarding world and he was curious about how this could happen that someone could turn blue without risk of asphyxiation.

Rachel whirled around as she detected the sound of laughing, fuming as she saw it was an annoying first year Gryffindor. Calm down, Rach, he's just a kid. She shot a nice smile at him, and was proud that she had managed to control her temper without openly declaring a shouting match.

Her eyes popped as she saw a Ravenclaw kid sit next to the Laughing Boy. She held up a finger to her mouth and made a small shushing noise, warning him not to talk. Sighing she turned back to Patricia and prodded her some more, willing her to wake.

Jack gulped at Sak's thoughts, he knew she was going to kill him for being friendly! He turned to her and smiled apologetically, he wasn't going to talk, no way, he tilted his head to the side as if he was a curious dog, he pointed to the door and then his wrist as if to say 'meet me outside after' he winked at Sak.

Damian looked to the Prefect and roled with his eyes. Isn't it aloud to say Hello to the teacher thought he and shacked his head but he is quiet.

Kalaria glanced around at the quiet buzz of students in the classroom and grumbled to herself silently. She appeared to be sitting amungst a rabble of of Claws and Gryffins, and although never usually bothered by house divisions, she felt annoyance. Spinning her bright green quill absently on its point her eyes clocked one of the prefects trying to nudge a fellow student awake. Kalaria leaned casually back in her chair and snickered at the situation before she flicked a piece of dirty blonde hair from her eyes and continued to look around the room.

Over the moderate pandemonium of the class Tobi could feel the annoyance coming off both the Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw prefects. Anna, it seemed, was trying to lead by example. And he didn't see any other prefects in the class, much less trying to settle their housemates down.

Tobi made an attempt to catch the Huffie Prefect and Rachel's eyes and offer them an encouraging smile, but he wasn't sure they caught it. He certainly didn't envy them their jobs, that was for sure. Eventually he returned to his notes from last term; he figured he could do with as much revision as possible.

Sarah looked over indignantly at the Hufflepuff prefect. "I asked one question when I came in! I haven't spoken since...except now.So you can't say I'm chatting!"
She huffed,turning away and folding her arms.She knew the rule,but she wasn't going to be accused of doing something she wasn't..not even by her own house prefect.
Pulling her textbook closer to her she slammed it open at a random page,grunted,and continued reading.

John was sat on the right hand side. He could wait to lear Transfiguration, he had been looking forward to this lession since he first came to hogwarts.

Livvy sighed softly and looked up at the instructions that the professor had given them. She got up and smiled at Rachel who seemed rather grumpy. She had missed her friend. They were ever so gradually drifting apart and Livvy wanted to pull it back together. She walked over and gave her a small wave as she sat down next to her. Livvy grinned slightly at the sleeping Patricia and pulled out her sketchbook. She began to draw the sleeping Patricia and slightly grumpy Rachel who was prodding the girl awake.

Kayla looked at the younger girl and simply put her finger to her lips. She didn't care what the girl's argument was, she had opened her mouth and words had come out when the Professor had said no chatting. She watched as she got her wand all in a knot for being chastised and Kayla rolled her eyes. Another younger student she was going to have to have words with.

Eva sighed slightly as she sat down waiting the Transfiguration class to start.
"Good morning Professor." she didn't know why, but she usually liked to sit down in the middle of the classroom. She looked around and waved at Kayla, seating down immediately all by herself. Not taht she had a problem with sharing the table with her classmates, but she was always too shy to ask somone she barely knew if she could have a seat.
"How do you do?" she added the cortesy question while she took her notebook and her quill from the small bag.
