Rachel walked into Transfiguration holding her heavy book with one of her hands so that it wouldn't tear her shoulder and her wand in the other. Heeding the professor's words, she took a seat on the left front corner of the room, dropping her bag as lightly as she could on the floor.
Sighing in relief and massaging her aching shoulder, she took a seat and smiled at the professor. "Good morning, professor," she greeted her with a smile, glad to be back at learning Transfiguration.

Mariel walked into the classroom and noticed that the room was visibly divided into younger students and older students on opposite sides. Interesting.

"Hello, Professor," she said as she took her seat on the younger side of the room. As Transfiguration was one of her favorites, she eagerly pulled out her wand and textbook, and immediately started reading as she waited for class to begin.

Tanjiro entered the classroom in pure delight. Finally!

"Good day, Professor." He said as he grabbed a seat with the lesser side of people.

Nathaniel saw Mariel walk in and he smiled. One of the ones that he actually liked. He moved his hair out of his face and waved to her.

Nancy slowly strolled into the Transfiguration classroom along with some other students her blue eyes darting around the room for her friends. Without success, though, at first. Looking at Professor Pierce in suprise upon hearing her instructions Nancy raised her eyebrows slightly before with a muttered "Good day, Professor" walking off to the right of the classroom. What was it with all that division according to years this term anyway? Well, at least they had classes together but still, Nancy felt pretty weird sitting there on the right side whereas all the students older than her were seated in the left side of the classroom. Weird.
Pulling out her wand and her textbook Nancy waited for the lesson to start while she continued to glance around the room. Maybe she'd missed someone? And she actually had. Her blue eyes fell on Mariel causing a smile to flash across her face. Quickly getting up again from her seat she walked over to the Ravenclaw girl and plopped down in the seat next to her. "Hi Mariel." She muttered with a grin before placing her things on the desk.

Kait saw Tees walk in and she waved to him to say hi. She reached into her bag and pulled out her textbook and notebook and placed it on her desk.

Sam walked in to the Transfiguartion class with a smile on his face. "Morning, Prof!" he said brightly before taking the first available seat at the back.

Rachel walked into the classroom "Good morning Professor," she said as she walked over towards an open seat. She sat down took out her stuff and waited.

Anxious for class to begin, Mariel glanced up distractedly from her book to see some movement out of the corner of her eye. Waving back cheerfully to Nathaniel, the young Ravenclaw also saw Nancy heading her way. "Hi Nancy," she said, grinning as the Slytherin girl sat down next to her. She was quite happy to have a friend near her especially as she recalled Transfiguration to often be one of those partner-y classes Hogwarts seemed to be famous for, at least the one term she had attended before now. And she always had fun in class when Nancy was her partner.

Sam walked in to the Transfiguartion class with a smile on his face. "Morning, Prof!" he said brightly before taking the first available seat at the back.

Jack had been sat in the corner quietly, he still sat there, this should be interesting

Jude cracked his neck on the way into the classroom, "G'day professah!" he said with a smile on his face, excited for his first Transfiguration lesson of the term. Listening to the professor's instructions, Jude took a seat on the right side of the room, where the 1st-3rd years were supposed to sit.

He thought it was a MIGHT BIT odd for her to have them sit like this, but he guessed it'd be for a good reason.

Christine walked into the class room, excited about todays lesson. Good morning professor she said as she entered the room. Christine frowned a bit when she was told she had to sit with the first years. The first years seemed more unruly then they were when she was a first year. With a sigh Christine walked towards the right side of the room and sat down.

Marcus entered the classroom with a little smile. This should be interesting. Though he knew his mum had tought him all he needed to know about this subject at his age, he had never been to a class that allowed using wands. Wonder how they will make that work with so many students he thought. He recognized the professor and said Good morning Professor.

Spotting Lizzie and her boyfriend he gave them a smile and a nod, he seriously needed to get to know people around here... Taking a seat near the back of the classroom he watched as people entered and greeted each other. Sighing quietly he decided he'd speak to some guys after class. He felt kinda lonely.

Glancing around he watched a girl who, like him, seemed a bit bothered by the fact that they were split into 1-3rd and 4-7th years. He gave her a smile and rolled his eyes as to say he knew what she was thinking.

Miles walked into the classroom with his bag slung on his shoulder. Transfiguration wasn't one of his best subjects, since it including turning things into something else. Why would you want to turn an animal into an object?! The poor animal.

He sat at the back, but not to far, so he could still see.

"Good morning, Professor Pierce," Anna greeted, smiling at her Transfiguration professor and new Head of House. Anna nodded when the professor gave directions for the fourth through seventh years to sit on the left side of the classroom. It was different, but sort of cool, for the older students to be separated from the younger ones this school year. Anna headed to the left side of the room, took a seat, and then waited quietly for the lesson to begin.

Heidi walked into the classroom and was happy to see some familiar faces. She walked by the professor, and said, "Good Morning, Professor," as she went to sit with her fellow classmates on the right.

Rachel looked around to see if anyone she had met was here but saw no one. She noticed that the older students seemed either confused or annoyed at the way the were being seated, I wonder what that's about, she thought to herself.

Shana walked into the room and looked around for someone she knew she didn't see anyone so she just went and sat down.Good Morning Professor She said just before she sat down.

Natka entered the classroom, feeling slightly tired from rushing in order to get there on time. She nodded to the Professor as she walked through the doors.

"Good morning," she said, and headed off to the right, where the rest of the first to third years were sitting. Wondering what this was about, she retrieved a quill and some parchment from her bag and waited for the lesson to begin.

Melanie got bored so she turned around in her seat and face the rest of the class. "Hi!" she said randomly wondering if anyone would reply. Seriously I could like be playing the little jeapordy song in my head right now. Do do do do do doo do do doo do do do do do doo!.... wow that was weird... I really have to get over my boredom. do do do dodo do do dooo noooo stupid song! now its stuck in my head. grr

Heidi looked at the girl who said Hi, and smiled back at her. The waiting was playing havic with Heidi, but the class was told not to chat. She wanted to talk to the first year, but decided to wait.

Rachel watched as the girl made her way to a seat. She tried not to laugh as she saw the girl bob her head as if she was listening to a song. "Hello."

Natka turned around at the sound of a girls voice.

"Hi," she replied with a smile. "Hufflepuff, right? I'm a second year Ravenclaw, Natka," she introduced herself.

Jake bit his lip, unsure whether to say anything. He didn't want Hufflepuff losing points, but some people might talk.

"Erm," he said, to the girl who once growled at him. "We aren't supposed to chat..."

Jake realised he hadn't got his things out, so grabbed his writing equipment before realising he couldn't find his wand. Shoot. Eventually, there it was, buried at the bottom of his bag... what an odd thing. Jake gently polished it.
