Alex sat at her desk mending a hole in her robes as she waited for her students to arrive. As they walked in Alex nodded towards the chairs, "First through third years on the right, fourth to seventh years on the left. Thank you."
Playing absentmindedly with the tip of her long dark ponytail, Willow stepped inside the Transfiguration classroom, as she hummed some random tune. Nodding at the professor's words, Willow took seat in the left part of the classroom, before taking out her book and wand.
"Good day, Professor Pierce. How are you doing today?" She greeted courteously.
Ludo hurried into the classroom for the lesson. He'd been looking forward to this class now that O.W.L.s were over...He could only wonder what was in store.
Professor Pierce gave directions as he entered. He smiled. "Hello, Professor."
He made his way to the left of the class, as instructed. He found a desk and dropped his back next to the chair. Hopefully this would be a practical lesson...
Tobi hurried into class, he hoped it went better than some of his other ones had been going lately.
Hope springs eternal.
"Hi Professor Pierce," Tobi greeted her, he sat in the back left. "Hey Willow." He recognized the Ravenclaw Quidditch captain, "I don't think we've actually met, I'm Tobi."
Cam quietly went into the classroom, carrying his bag which had everything he needed in it. Transfiguration was one of the subjects he was really interested in. When would they be able to turn stones into food? That would be awesome and everything. He sat on one of the chairs on the right and waved at the professor.
"Hello Professor Pierce."

Jake entered the room at high speed but skidded to a halt straight away. "Erm... Hi, Professor," he muttered and headed the right of the room for a seat next to Cameron. Jake was nervous; he hadn't met this professor.

Sylvan nervously entered the classroom where he would be learning transfiguration. He walked right up to the teacher and handed her a note, as he had not yet been able to visit her office.
SPOILER!!: Note to Professors
Dear Sir or Madame:
This letter is to request your patience and understanding with regards to the education of our son, Sylvan. Sylvan is profoundly deaf and has been so since birth. We had him educated in the use of the Muggle deaf language, ASL, but as we understand that this is not a common language for most people, especially wizards, to know, we hope that you could try to remember the following:
1. That you speak clearly and enunciate your words when you are speaking to him so that he can read your lips,
2. That you are facing him while you are speaking, and
3. That you have gotten his attention before you begin speaking to him.
We thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation, and wish you all the best for the coming school year. If you have any questions or concerns, we would be more than happy to receive your owl.
Sincerely,
Mr. and Mrs. W. Weatherskein.
Taking a seat on the right side of the classroom, he pulled his wand from his robe pocket and began fiddling with it.
"Rough day so far, Professor," Tobi admitted, "But I'm hoping it'll get better."
Maybe I'll go hang out with the house elves after class, they always cheer me up. They're always in good humour, well except for Amalgamus, but there's one in every bunch...
Shooting a smile at the three, Alex responded, "I'm well, how are the three of you?"
Ludo smiled to the Professor. "Doing good as well, thanks. A bit relieved to be here now that O.W.L exams are finished." He chuckled. He sat and pulled quill, ink, parchment, and wand out.
Daphne walked into the classroom, cheerful and smiling. She waved to the professor and took a seat. She pulled out everything she'd need for the lesson. She carefully rotated her right wrist, carefully bandaged for support. It felt sore and stiff, but she was confident she could be able to work out everything for the spells in class.
Juniper walked slowly into Transfiguration. Head down, she had no hair to hide behind, for she had tied the curly masses back today. It was a rarity, for her to have her hair not in her face. And, in fact, she was not positive she liked all the open space around her face. But she was here in transfiguration now, and it was too late to do anything about it.
Casting a shy smile in the direction of Professor Pierce, Juniper took a seat on the left side of the classroom.
Willow, who had begun to grow distracted pondering all the things she had going on --Quidditch, the Quill and OWLs-- almost missed the polite greeting a Gryffindor boy had given her. Who would have thought that boys could be so polite? And how did he know her name? Ah, well--he had been polite. "Nice to meet you, Tobi," said the girl with a nod and a polite smile to the obviously older boy.
"Oh, I'm fine. Thanks, Professor," she said, answering to the Professor's question.

Alex's eye gave a slight twitch at seeing the note in the boys hand, but she took it and read it thoughtfully. She smiled kindly and looked at the boy, making sure he was still looking and said, "Dont worry, I'll do my best to make sure you feel at home here."
OOC: Feel free to RP your character coming into the classroom. I have to get offline for a little while, please do not chat. Any chatters will be docked house points when I get back. Thank you.

Dominic adjusted his bag on his shoulder as he stepped inside the Transfiguration classroom. It wasn't his best subject, but nor was it his worst and thus the subject was ... mediocre. Noting the directions as to where to sit by years, the fifth year made his way over to the left and plopped into the seat next to Mystery Girl.
"Hello Professor Pierce," he greeted politely before turning to the dark haired girl next to him. "Hello ... I er ... You're quidditch captain?" He asked incredulously as he just spotted the badge. "Congrats."

Sylvan smiled gratefully at the teacher and nodded in response. He gave a huge sigh of relief. Perhaps this would be okay after all. Taking his eyes off of the teacher, he scanned the room to see if there was anyone he knew. Sadly, he did not see his friend Nathaniel there.

Tobi noticed the slightly confused look on Willow's face, "Quidditch Captain," he explained, gesturing to her, "Quidditch nut," he gestured to himself.
He then busied himself with unpacking his books, parchement and quills, and extra quills because he was quite famous for breaking them. He might have been more verbose, but he didn't want to get in trouble for talking... again...
Nigel wandered into Tranfiguration with a smirk on his face. Awww, how he adored this class, it just came so naturally for him. Though it was his favourite class, being Nigel he still had to take a seat at the back of the room in all his (as he calls it) 'awesomeness'. As he walked into the class, he gave a quick nod to Professor Pierce.
"Hello Professor, how are you today?" he said loudly in his obnoxious tone as he took his seat at the back.

Daphne looked up from her wrist, still moving it around somewhat awkwardly. She saw, in the front of her room, the boy she had met in Diagon Alley. She tried hard to recall his name, but it wasn't coming. She thought she might say "hello", but didn't want to if she even know his name! To complicate matters worse, Willow, the Ravenclaw Quidditch Captain was there, and Daphne hadn't spoken to her about her term-ending injury. She looked down again, now hoping to avoid any uncomfortable conversations.
Jayne quickly made her way into the classroom and sat on the left side of the room along with the other upper-classmen and set her bag down beside her.

And then, yet another male voice was talking to her. Since when boy talked to her, eh? Strange creatures that she could not understand. Only difference was, that this male voice was a very familiar one.
At first, Willow did not look up, nor did she made a comment to the fact that Weird had occupied the seat next to her, but as soon as his following comment reached her ears, the girl quickly looked up. About she was to thank him --albeit sounding sarcastic due to his shocked tone of voice-- the words caught in her throat, as soon as her forest green eyes spotted a Prefect Badge on his robes. "I--yes, thank you. And, er, congratulations for your badge," she said, her tone and expression incredulous.
Did Professor Shackleton had an aneurism when she picked him?
Turning to look at the older Gryffindor boy, the fifth year could not help but to chuckle at his explanation. Well, then it did make sense that he knew her name. Not that she was mad because people knew her name, or anything--more like the opposite. Grinning, the girl busied herself with her book.

Dominic turned around his chair as he felt eyes prying on the back of his head. Odd. And then he saw her - it was the girl from Diagon Alley whom he sat with for a little while and promised her an ice cream that he never fulfilled. Oops. Nonetheless it would be prudent not to at least offer some recognition of her and so the fifth year gave a small furtive head nod in her direction before refocusing towards the front of the room...

Not before taking notice of the surprised expression on Mystery Girl's face. She never failed to amuse him with her vacant and coy facial expressions. Noticing her glance at down at his own robes at the moment she was about to speak, Dom chuckled to himself when she finally spoke.
"You are welcome, and thank you," the hufflepuff replied back in polite notion, but then watched her carefully again. She seemed confused almost by his prefect badge. Despite the fact that she told him 'congrats', it didn't seem genuine but ... unexpected. Surprised.
Decidedly not dwelling on it, Dom turned attentively towards Professor Pierce once more and waited for the lesson to begin.

Lyra walked into the classroom and took a seat, getting her books ready for class. This was one that was at the top of her list as she LOVED Transfiguration. It was always interesting, almost shifty like.
Sakura walked into the classroom, quickly finding a desk at the front and sitting down. She then took out all the materials she thought that she might need. She then turned to the front and sat still as she waited for the lesson to begin.
Lasca walked into the classroom with her bookbag slung over her shoulder. Spotting the professor she gave the woman a deep curtsy and then moved off to the right. She didn't see anyone she knew, so the young Ravenclaw set her bag by her feet and took a seat.
