Clifford honestly didn't know what was going on anymore. He did catch a glimpse of green sparks, but how was he to know if that was someone answering his plea for a partner, or someone simply giving directions to someone else?

BAAAH!!

Well, one thing he was absolutely certain of, he was getting out of here. Yup, yup. Whether he had a partner or not. Hmpf. He'd just ... search his way out with no help. Right. That was probably easier said than done, but he had to give it a try, didn't he!? He was hungreh!

The sixth year made his way through the maze, but sighed loudly when he reached a fork. Oh great, now he didn't know what path to take. Left or right? Was it worth having a guess? He didn't want to end up more lost than he already was..

"Ris-ON-a." He tried again, wand pointing in the air, the words Right? forming. Perhaps someone would be kind enough to help? He hoped so.

Looking up Sarah noticed the word "Right" form in the air.She assumed that it was for someone already in a pair so she glanced around to see who responded....no-one did.
OK....
"To the person that just shot up the word right..I'll help you! Wait what's your name so I can find you on my map?" she bellowed,trying not to sound too eager.

William was starting to wonder what in tarnations was going on as the lights suddenly went out. At first she thought a power outage had happened, then shut that thought out of his mind as he remembered there could be no electricity in the school. Just as he thought that the lights blinked back on and he was alone facing a giant maze. "Great." he muttered, looking around suddenly and wondering what was going on.

As he was about to raise his hand he listened to the professors words and suddenly understood. so he had to get his partner out of the maze using his spell. Okay he could do that. He looked above the maze, seeing a ribbon with his name on it. "Purple sparks?" he wondered out loud shrugging and jabbing his wand in the air saying the spell in a clear voice. "Firistan" as he thought of purple. Purple sparks shot out of his wand raising high above the maze. He hope she could see them as he looked down at his map and saw there was a left turn coming up.

Help? Please? Aaaaanyone? My stomach feels like it's eating itself already, Clifford thought desperately with a small impatient bounce. Left? Right? Right? Left? It was going to take some MAAAJOR guesswork if he actually wanted to make it out of here alive. Hmmm.

He was about to randomly choose the right path, when he heard someone yelling. Person that just sent up the word right, I'll help you? Clifford looked above his head to where the word 'Right' was still conjured.. So, that meant him? Whee! "Ris-ON-a." He muttered again, this time thinking of his name until Clifford Carden appeared in the air.

Hmmm Clifford Carden?
Sarah looked down at the map searching for the little dot that represented him.Finally she found it and called back.. "Got you Clifford! You asked about right?"
Fixing her wand towards the ceiling she said the spell while thinking green as he was going in the right direction.
"Firsitan.Green!"
The sparks flew out the end of her wand,just high enough to be seen over the top of the maze.

Oh yes. Was this it? Help, finally? He was saved! Whoever his saviour was, was going to recieve a nice, huge CLIFFIE SQUISH!

... okay, mebbe not. For all he knew, it could be someone scary.

Uhm. He really needed to get out of here. This maze was messing with his head big time.

Clifford breathed a small sigh of relief when he spotted the green sparks, and headed quickly down the right path. Walking.. walking.. walking until he reached yet another fork. Oh poop. Mazes sucked.

"Risona." He said for the bazillionth time, this time round the word Left? appearing above his head.

Chris had paired up with Freya and was immeadiatly put outside the maze and she was in the middle. He thought this was a very cool, and creative assignment and was eager to start.

While she waited for Shana to tell her what direction to take, Evangeline started wondering about how would her classmates be dealing with it. Actually, more like how Clifford was dealing with it. She hoped okay, because she didn't fancy having her boyfriend starve to death inside a maze. Eh.

So distracted she had been with her own thoughts, she forgot about the sparks and almost missed the red sparks Shana sent. Oh, okies. So she had asked about going to the right and got a red. That meant going to the left ... but she had gone to the left before too!! Bah! Soon, she'd be walking around in circles!

Scratching her head, she tried to see a bit ahead, trying to find something that let her know the right way actually was to the left. Eh. She couldn't see anything - so she really had to trust Shana. Nodding her head, she turned left again and walked a few more metres, before reaching another fork. ACK! She hoped this was over soon. Hmpf.

Not wanting to stay in there for much longer, she quickly swished her wand upwards and green ribbons appeared over her head, spelling the word 'Left?'

Freya looked around, her eyes were burning slightly, they had gotten used to the darkness in the very short time it had happened.
'Oh, lovely.' She thought sarcastically and immediately started to move along the maze. 'Let's hope, Chris doesn't get me too lost...'
It wasn't long before, Freya came across her first turn. She pointed her wandtip to the ceiling and sent out the word, 'Left'.
Her eyes were looking around the area, searching for green or red sparks.

Chris looked up in the darkness and saw the word left in curly neat ribbon. He smiled, it had begun. He pointed his wand into the air and thought and then said "Firsitan." and a big green set of sparks flew into the air.

Rian frowned when she heard the proffessor's voice. She sighed when she realized she really was in a maze. Muttering "Risona," she pointed her wand into the air. Cadence? the ribbon asked. Then more followed There's a fork heresend upblue for leftand redfor rightplease she frowned again when she saw that some of her words had run together. Sigh.

Shana Looked up at the sky waiting for a reply.Oooh,Left She looked at the map but no it was right.Thank goodness She wasn't just seeing things as everything before had been left.She got her wand and said Firsitan! She said then cleared her mind of all thoughts which wasn't very hard.And started to think Red. She hoped the sparks had appeared.She hoped that she would get Evangeline out very quickly,Then mabye Evangeline would be very proud of her.Shana smiled at that thought,And waited for a reply.

'Good, my sense of direction seems to be working so far.' Freya thought as she headed off to the left.
'I think I could actually get through this myself...' She continued along the way in the maze, but an eerie feeling came over her. It wasn't right to be in such close-quarters, and Freya began to feel slightly disoriented. 'Oh great.'
She came across another fork in the maze, but it was strange, she could see another immediate turn after each route. 'Huh?' Nevertheless, Freya raised her wand again and the fiery red ribbons came from the tip forming the words, 'Left then right?' 'Right then left?' 'Right then right?' 'Left then left?' She hoped the ribbon wasn't changing too quickly.

Waiting for the next question to pop up Sarah wondered to herself who the person was she was helping.She knew his name but not what he looked like.He was a green dot on her map...did that mean he was a Slytherin or was it a random colour? Either way she didn't mind,she was happy to help.
Being on the outside was easy,she could leave at anytime (if she wanted detention anyway),but it wasn't in her nature to leave people.
Snapping back to reality she notied on the map he had come to the next fork in the maze.Glancing up she saw the word left appear.
Oooh ooh which way does he go? Hmmm the exit is there so he needs to go...left! Yes he got it right again..or rather left...

Straightening her arm she once again said the spell and pathetic sparks came out the end of her wand. "Oh hell," she muttered,shaking it like it was a torch whose batteries were running out.
Trying again this time it worked and bright Green sparks shot into the air.

Chris waited in the dark until he got the next set of words from Freya. He read them and then thought this maze is kinda confusing. He then thought and pointed his wand into four times each time saying the spell. He did the first one red, the next green, and the next two red to show that her fsecond direction she sent was the right one of the four.

This time it took a while longer for any sparks to show up, and Clifford tugged at his lower lip nervously. Oh noes. Please, please, PLEASE don't let them have left without me.. his worried brain thought.

Was he meant to go left or right? Only the peson that was meant to be helping him knew.. so why weren't they HELPING?

Okay.. no freaking out.. just breathe..

A breath of relief escaped when after what felt like the longest time, Clifford spotted yet more green sparks. WOO! He was right again. So that meant he had to take the left pathway. Okie Dokie.

Of course, being a maze and all, it wasn't long until he reached yet another fork. BLEEEH! "Risona!" He said yet again, wand pointed upwards the word Left? forming yet again..

.. at least, it was supposed to say left. The spell didn't seem to have worked too great that time, and his ribbon was barely readable. Uh oh. He just hoped the kid that was meant to be helping him understood..

'Right then left, good.' Freya thought and continued on her way.

Was it just her, or was the width of the maze becoming narrower? Freya turned sideways so that she was able to slide through the path, but it confused her as she reached...a dead end?! 'What?! There is no way!' She pounded her fist against the side of the maze that was blocking her. 'Move you stupi-' The end of the path suddenly opened up and Freya found herself in an area that was a bit more airy than the rest of the maze she had encountered.

That wasn't the problem though, there were three different routes this time. Straight ahead, left and right. Freya gave a frustrated sigh and raised her wand again, 'Risona!' The red ribbon came out of her wand again and contorted, 'West' 'North' 'East', she hoped that Chis would understand what she meant and watched the sky for an answer.

Chris looked up into the darkness to find a new message West, North, East. "Ok that must mean there is a three way split. One going left, one straight, and one going right. Firsitan!" shooting up three sparks, the first two red and the last green.

'Okay.' Freya thought and headed off in the right direction. 'Surely this is almost over...hopefully.' She walked straight for almost an entire two minutes when Freya came across another split, the right direction looked very small, the left very wide. 'Left?' Freya shot into the air again.

Cadence shot up green sparks for yes as her partner wrote her name in the air so the girl knew her position. She deciphered the words that had run together and then sent up blue sparks for left.

Chris looked at the word left in the air, and sent up the red sparks meaning no.

Sarah looked up,confused,at the new bit of ribbon that appeared above the maze. "What the heck does that say?!" she mumbled to herself in a somewhat panicky voice.Squinting she could just make out it was a short piece...must mean left I guess.
Quickly scanning the map she shook her head...oh he is not going to like this...
"Firsitan!" she shouted and Red sparks went up into the air. I hope I got his question correct or I could be sending him the wrong way.

Oh great! Nancy had actually managed to fall asleep during class. That really was sort of scary, very scary. It had never ever happened to her in any of her classes, not even in History of Magic or Herbology. But it had happened now, right in the middle of Transfiguration. The last thing she remembered was having practiced this Firsitan-spell a few times and then everything was just, well, gone.
Eep! Her head had snapped up just as the professor had said something about pairing up but then it too late. Nancy didn't have a partner. Gee! How could this have happened to her in the first place? And now she was standing in front of this huge maze with a map in her hands and no partner. Great, just great. Maybe there was some older student out there who still needed a partner but how was she to find out?

'But I don't wanna go right!' She whined to herself, 'I don't even know if I can fit...' Anyway, Freya had to crawl through the passage on her hands and knees. 'Ugh, and I liked these bottoms too...and I've got to lay off the scones apparently...' It seemed like forever, but eventually Freya managed to get to the end of the path and looked around.
'Last one?!' she surely hoped it would be, this was starting to get on her nerves. 'Darn.'
There were also three paths in this section of the maze as well, 'Curse this place.' Freya sent up three words in the air, 'Left, Straight, Right.'

Chris waited a little bit longer this time and wondered if Freya was alright. He then was relieved when he saw the words above him. He sent up three sparks with the incantation Fisitan. First one green the next two red.
