Seeing the words that Barry sent Sakura thought it was kinda strange how he was asking for the colours on the direction since he was supposed to send her a direction and she was supposed to agree or disagree but then again who was she to complain. Looking down at the map she quickly located where she was and then traced a line to where Barry was located. She nodded to herself, he went in the right direction now what path should he take. After inspecting the map for another minute she said softly "Firsitan" while thinking of the colour red. Again the spell worked perfectly.

Ruby saw a ribbon in the air she saw someone with out a partner she sighed with releif and said "Firsitan" and sent green sparks up as a conformation to the person who had sent the ribbon, she waited on the next ribbon from the person.

This was going great - a few more turns should do it!
OK - checking the map it was a right this time - Michael cast "Firsitan Green" for yes. Thankfully Green sparks came out the end of his wand!!

Barry nodded and he turned right, this wasn`t so hard. All he had to do was....

bump he fell to the floor and his wand rolled away. He managed to grab it and get up. Well which way now? Barry got up and cast another ribbon and they formed the exact same words he thought Well which way now?

Okay so he had reached the wall quickly she cast the spell and made green sparks fly into the air. She hoped he would pay more attention to his surroundings next time. She didn't want to lose points because he got hurt. That plus she just really didn't want him getting hurt in the first place. This was most likely her cousin she was directing after all.

Harley couldnt belive he was already lost in the maze without a partner, noticing others sending messages to the lower years with there ribbons he decided to follow suit so swishing his wand and casting risona the words appeared:

Anyone still needing a partner cast Yellow sparks twice from wand

Now to wait to see a reply...

Barry turned left as instructed. He was so clumsy. Being a ravenclaw and clumsy didn`t mix. He put his hands out in frount of him and felt for the wall. He had long legs so he soon reached the wall, no collision here. Barry asked once again with the non-verbal spell Risona which way now? Right?. He watched the ribbon form above him. He wondered who was his partner.

Hmm okay this would be tricky. With the way she was leading him he would have to turn right and then left before turning right again in quick succession. Really hoping that he understood what the flashes meant she said "Firsitan" three times. The first time it was red, then green and the last flash was redagain. Merlin she hoped he understood the signals but she didn't want him to crash into anything and it was easier than having him ask for three different direction in quick succession.

Barry was shocked by his partners response, so um right, left, right? Yeah well Barry turned right and walked forward and only just missed the wall. He then turned left and moved forward. He hurt his nose, he`d have to go to the hospital wing. He turned right and he walked down the path this was a long one, it was. He finally reached a wall. He could see an opening but he wanted to make sure risona Barry thought in his head and a ribbon appeared and they formed the words left?. His nose was bleeding but it could wait.

Mariel had been busy practicing shooting colored sparks from her wand when she vaguely heard the professor mention something about partners. She inwardly groaned at the thought of looking for someone to partner with and thought maybe she'd continue to practice a few more minutes before taking a look around to see who was still partnerless. The young Ravenclaw shot up red sparks, followed by orange, then yellow - wait, did she say younger student pair with older student? Mariel didn't really know any older students. She looked around a bit to see that nearly everyone had already paired off. She was a little intimidated to approach someone a lot older than her so she continued practicing and waited to see if someone partnerless would seek her out. Green, blue - then the lights went out. Great. And she was still without a partner.

Looking around a bit in a slight panic as she was unsure of what to do next, Mariel saw words form above her. Relief swept over her features as she saw someone was still in need of a partner. Holding her wand above her, she commanded, "Firsitan," and yellow sparks shot up from her wand. Oh, right, the person said twice. "Firsitan," she said again quickly, and a yellow sparks emitted from her wand a second time. She had no idea who this person was, but she hoped they got her message.

Marcus came to another stop and Heidi looked up to see. When she saw the ribbon, she shot green sparks again, when she noticed he was going in the right direction. Heidi couldn't believe the luck they had so far. But, she knew it was too good to be true, when he stopped again, and she shot off red sparks. Marcus was bumping into other dots on the map and confusing Heidi.

Cadence smiled a little to herself. She happened to be good at both mazes and communication. How would she know which ribbon spell belonged to her partner though?

"ExpelledGirl," Varius rushed over to her before anyone else could claim her since someone had already stolen his partner and crime for classes. The advantage was that Varius already knew this oldie... sorta and she was also Hufflepuff, which meant any points they earned in todays class went straight to both of their houses. He rubbed her head in salutation. "Let us be partners!" what they were being partnered for however was still unkno...

Oh wow, did it just get dark?

When the lights turned back on Varius was nowhere near where he originally was and he couldn't see ExpelledGirl ANYWHERE! "Oh great, did someone steal my partner?" he grumbled... that was until the Professor explained the point of the task, which also explained the map in his hands. Great! He just needed to wait for ExpelledGirl to weave some ribbon magic.

Oh great. So he was now stuck in the middle of this scary maze with no partner and nothing but his wand for help. Absolutely perfect. NOT! Wrinkling his nose, Clifford scratched his poor, confuzzled head. How on Earth was he supposed to find a partner in the lower years if they were at the exit of the maze, and he was in the ruddy middle!? This sucked. He was going to get stuck here, and he was going to eventually starve to death. What a cruel, cruel world. Sigh.

When Professor Pierce had asked for partners, Evangeline had figured something was going on for the woman's smile but this - this was definitely not it. After the lights came back, she found herself inside what looked like a maze and she listened closely to the Professor's explanation. Oh brilliant, just brilliant.

She dearly hoped Shana knew her sparks well.

With a small sigh, her wand firmly in her hand, she started walking through the maze, but soon enough she found herself looking up to a fork. Ack. What now? Left or right? Thank goodness she had managed to get the spell right before the Professor had trapped them in the maze - she didnt fancy being left here to die. Concentrating on getting the ribbons to spell the word she wanted coloured in green, Evangeline swished her wand upwards and thought the incantation silently. Goooosh! Major headache, coming!

But at least, hovering high above her was a ribbon that read 'Left?'.

Emma was afraid that she would never get picked. who would want to be partners with a timid 1st year like herself. She wished her boyfriend was in this class with her to make her feel better. At least she had an idea how to do the spell. Now all she needed was a partner. she stood and waited... quietly


If ur an upper year and still need a partner, just send up a ribbon saying "partner?" i'll know that i might have a partner then

EEEP! The lights went of thank goodness Shana already had a partner,If it wasn't for Evangeline she would have been crying by now.Anyways back to business im sure Evangeline wouldn't appreciate having to stay in that maze just because She had got the spell wrong.Shana gripped her wand so it didn't slip out her hand She waved it in the air Firstitan! Shana said then started to concerntrate and thought of the color Green

Bleh. This was getting silly now. All he needed was a partner to try and direct him outta this stoopid maze. Heck, he was getting hungry! What a disaster it would be getting stuck in here with an empty stomach. Soooo not cool.

Raising his wand high above his head, Clifford muttered the incantation, "Ris-ON-a." His face screwed up in concentration as he tried to form words with the ribbon he'd conjured. He hadn't quite got the hang of making more than one word yet, and his ribbon simply spelled the word: Partner?

Emma was looking around and saw the word partner! She was saved! She thought Firsitan and sent up a green spark. she was so glad she finally had a partner.
She was surprised when a map appeared in her hands and it had a few dots on it. well, here goes nothing. she knew she'd find out who her partner was eventually

Thinning her eyes in concentration, Evangeline tried to look out for any green or red sparks, indicating that yes, she should go left or, no she should go right. Bah - if only she had the map Shana had! Ah well, she just had to trust the little firstie.

Sooner than she had expected, bright green sparks were on the air and Evangeline smiled proudly. Chyeeeah. The girl was a Slytherin, alright. Hah. With a nod, she turned to the left and walked some more through the maze. After a few minutes, she found herself facing another decision. Hmmm. With an upward swish of her wand and a silent Risonda, she created another green ribbons that read 'Right?'.

Vanessa shuddered as she looked around the maze. It looked preetty high up. Or maybe that was just because she was preetty low down. Nether the less she was really hoping that her partner, was ready for this. They'd have to trust each other a lot, or they'd never get anywhere.
Sighing the raised her wand towards the ceiling. "Risonda" She spoke quietly, but clearly as she looked up, at where he wand was pointing. The ribbions that were created read Right?. She stood looking up at them, as she waited for her partner's responce. This was going to be interesting

Heidi noticed Vanessa's ribbon, and raised her wand, "Firistan" and thought of the color green. She looked down at the map and noticed Vanessa moving in the right direction. This was going to be intresting indeed, she thought to herself.

Shana looked at the map Nope it was left She thought.Hmm so far both the turnings had been to the left very strange.Shana made sure she had done it right.She was determind to get Evangeline out of that maze,after all she was getting hungry and they couldn't leave until Evangeline was out.Shana raised her wand and said Firsitan She shouted and took a deep breathe and thought Red Just incase it didn't work she said the color Red! She couldn't have her friend and one of their house prefects lost in a maze.Although her friend was trapped in a puzzled Shana thought this was very interesting,she liked Transfigaration and that was very suprising as she really didn't like school.

Sarah looked around..everyone seemed to be helping someone.How was she going to get a partner when she couldn't see anyone to ask?
Deciding that,as she didn't have the knowledge of the ribbon spell,she would just shout and ask the older students in the middle.
"Hey!" she called. "Anyone still in need of help in there? I'm on my own out here.I'll shoot up blue sparks to show where I am!"
Pointing her wand in the air she called out the spell.. "Firsitan..blue." ....and waited for a reply.

As she waited for her partner to respond Vanessa twirled her hair around her fingers. This was definetly a good time for her to be scared of heights and not scared off enclosed spaces. That would be terrible, and she'd probably have spent more time, panicing then actually doing anything else.
She glanced as Heidi sent up green sparks. That meant it was right! Lowering her wand, down to her side again, the midget hufflepuff, began slowly moving right. These was a little better than she had first thought.
Well that was until she came to a fork in the maze. There were probably going to be plenty of these. Now she had to decide, where it would be left or right. Well it had be Right at the last fork, could it possibly be right again? That would be a little odd, but it was possible. She was going to try left though. Raising her wand, she silently cast Risonda, hoping that it would work without her saying. She smiled triumphantly to herself as she word "left?" was spelt out in ribbions above her head.
