Kayla looked up at the first year who yelled across the classroom and she burst out laughing. She indicated with her index finger for him to come over to her.

Spotting a young boy, who looked kind of desperate for a partner. Liz walks over to him, and offers her hand. "Would you like a partner? My name is Liz." she says with a soft smile.

Ana decided to wait for some upper year to say something.

"Now that we all have our partners..."

Suddenly the lights go out and you hear Professor Pierce muttering a few spells. When the lights come back on, you can no longer see the exit, the desks are gone and it appears the classroom got bigger, but you cant really tell because your in the middle of a maze! Your hear Professor Pierce's voice from... somewhere.

"Upper years, you are in the middle of a moderatly complicated maze, your partner is on the outside witha map which has two dots on it, each representing one of you. There are several exits to my maze, your goal is to find the one your partner is standing at. The catch is, you must communicate silently. For example, if you come to a fork, send up the word 'Left?' or 'Right?' and your partner will respond with sparks, green for 'yes' and red for 'no'. When you find your partner, you may leave the classroom. Begin."

OOC: I will be reposting this maze and instructions for people who didnt make class. This is your homework. Points are given for creative RPing and success with the spells. After getting out of the maze, PM me your user name, user number, house and character name. If you dont have a patner, pretend you do Thank you.

There's that Toupee business again. Celandine really wanted to find out if that was true or not. She reaaaaaally wanted to find out. "Oh thats funny; talking about yourself in third person like that." Celandine noted, seriously. "Oh a square! A perfectly uniform and even square! That must have been really hard Plymouth!"

Oh yeah, uh huh! SuperCam would have danced if there weren't people around, he had gotten a partner in seconds! He eyed the older girl and wondered if he'd seen her anywhere. Oh that's right, the Hufflepuff Pre-... THE HUFFLEPUFF PREFECT, AS IN WORKING WITH THE DOMINATOR. But she had to be nice, or else that Dom would have liked her and not that Professor Morgan. Giving her a thumbs up for picking the best 1st year in the room, he hurried over to her and waved.

"Hiiiii. I'm Cam. And you must be?" Asking first... she could have been a twin, who knows. Then everything was all dark.

"Kayla Winters" she replied slightly amused at the boy's enthusiasm. And then the lights went out and when they came back on, she seemed to be standing in what looked like a maze. She listened as Professor Pierce gave her instructions and she groaned slightly. "Well I hope Cam, knows what he's doing" she muttered to herself as she set off.

Before she knew it, Kayla had hit a fork. Giving her wand a swish upwards and saying the incantation, "Risona." A ribbon flew out of her wand and said 'RIGHT' she waited for cam to send the sparks up.

Watching the lights go dark, Liz gets confused, and stands up, when the lights come back up, the boy she was talking to is gone and she's in this maze! Listening to the professors instructions, looks around, and takes the path foward until she sees an opening on either side of her.

Boy...I don't even know the child's name... thinking to herself, she decides to describe herself a little.

Thinking carefully about what she wants to say, Liz swishes her wand upward and says "Risona" and all of a sudden a ribbon appears saying "Young hufflepuff boy, I am a Ravenclaw girl, about 5'7", with long blonde hair. My name is Liz. Are you to my left?"

What was really hard was - being the MAN that screamed like a girl when the lights went out. Plymouth would never admit to it, but rest assured, it was him. Like a pig, he squealed.

And then the lights came on and the Professor was talking and he was - "Oh thank Merlin I picked you, Celandine Toussaint." Ooops. In silence. Silent. It made Plymouth want to scream again - but he didn't.

This time, he not ONLY had a pretty girl to impress, he also had to get them out of of the maze (and hopefully be one of the first, right? Winner!). He did a little stretch, down to his toes and back up again before trying for a calmness he didn't feel. He felt trapped and alone and claustrophobic and a little tired, and now that he thought about it, he surely had to tinkle a little. Figures the second the bathroom option was taken away he'd have to go.

Plymouth took a breath in, whispered the incantation under his breath, and conjured another perfect square for Celadine. She'd at least know it was him and he was around and there to help her.

Anna glanced up and smiled at one of the younger Gryffindors, a first year if she wasn't mistaken, asking her to be his partner. "Hey, Michael. I'm Anna Greingoth. I'd love to be your partner. Thank you," she said. She stood from her seat, wand in hand, and waited for the professor's directions. As she waited, Anna tried to piece together her ribbon spell and Michael's spark spell. Coming up with no possible connection off the top of her head, Anna continued to wait quietly and patiently for the next step.

When the lights suddenly went out, Anna jerked her head from side to side, trying to figure out what had happened and whether or not it was intentional. She didn't have to wonder for long, though. The lights were back on in no time, and Anna could see that the class had been rearranged a bit. Anna listened to the directions, understanding that she must work her way out of a maze in order to be able to exit the class. Nodding once again, Anna began to maneuver through the maze. She headed straight ahead for quite some time, stopping when she finally came to a fork in the maze. Alright, this was where she needed Michael's help. Michael was to let her know whether she should turn left or right at the fork. Anna held her wand high, swished it upward, and then silently casted "Risona!" A few second later, a red ribbon shot into the air and formed the word "Left?" She knew that if Michael's spark was green, the answer was yes. If it was red, the answer was no. Anna stood and waited patiently for Michael to reply.

Daniel was wondering if someon would pick him as his or her partner.

Oh, alright. Copernicus wanted to wait for someone to find him, but that certainly wasnt' going to happen. He approached a younger girl and gave her a tentative smile. "Looking for a partner? I'm Copernicus... and you are?"

And then the lights went out. Brilliant. When they came on, he was in the maze and he had no idea what his partner's name was.

So she was the Hufflepuff Prefect, but he wasn't afraid of her since he was SuperCa-AHMAHGAWSH, I WANT MY MOMMY. The dark scared him and he was suddenly facing a parchment with two dots on it, guessing that Kayla was the dot in the middle. Taking a few steps back, he had the urge to run out of the classroom into the light. But he was SuperCam! Nothing could stop him, since he was protector of good and destroyer of evil! He knew what he was doing.

BUT WHY SO FAST? Her "right" sign had gone in the air in an instant and he didn't know what to do. That sparky spell, he still didn't even master it. Dangit. Green sparks right? Well the map-thingy told him that she should go left. "FIRSITAN!" Green sparks came out of his wand, high into the air.

Ooh, that was some nice luck! Oh nuuuuu. He wasn't suppose to send green sparks, she was suppose to go left! LEFT WOMAN. Oh right, the wand. "FIRSITAN!" A very loud flatulence sound came out of the wand. "FIRSITAN! FIRSITAN! FIRSITAN! FIRSITAN!" 4 more very LOUD sounds of that whoopee cushion. NUUUUUUU.

"FIRSITAN!" he screamed one mooore time. Again, the unusual sound but he managed to get red sparks in the air. Gooo back!

Ok then, Liz-the-Ravenclaw-girl-who-is-about-5'7"-with-long-blonde-hair... lemme seeeeee...

Jake looked at his map. Then he turned it upside down, rotated it clockwise, flipped it over, lay it on the ground, stood at the other side of it, picked it up, rotated it anti-clockwise and looked up.

Woah... where's the maze?! What the-?! STOP MESSING WITH MY BRAI- Oh yeah, it's behind me. Jake looked at the map again and twisted it back to how it started. That didn't help.

Oh, that would be a yes. Green sparks it was.

"Firsitan!" Jake exclaimed, shooting the sparks high into the air, and face-palming when they came out...

Blue?

Looking up, she sees over to her right, some sparks. Hmmm, ok that means I go...wait blue?

Umm, that's not right! Wasn't it supposed to be green or red...? Turning around in a circle, Liz looks up again, waiting to see if she needed to ask it again.

Jake looked at his wand as if it had done him some great wrong... Well, it probably had. That tree-climbing incident- PAY ATTENTION!

Ok... Green sparks is what we want, come on now...

"FIRSITAN!" Jake yelled, and this time, one of the requested colours went up.

Too bad that colour was Red...

Sigh... I'll just take the longer route... stupid wand...

Kayla stood tapping her foot waiting for Cam, to send the sparks up. What in Merlin's name is the boy doing? After what felt like a lifetime, she spotted the green sparks and so she proceeded to the right and she wandered along humming to herself, when the next thing she knew there were red sparks in the air.

Kayla halted mid step and stood quite still for a moment. Was he playing around with his wand or what? Thinking for a moment before deciding on what she ws going to do, it wasn't said that they couldn't ask questions. "Risona" she muttered and swished her wand upwards. More ribbon flew out of her wand as she though the words. 'OI CAM, STOP MESSING AROUND!! DO YOU WANT ME TO GO BACK?'

Ana was about to say her name when the lights went out. She heard the professor but she can only make sparks came out of her hand, so she waited Copernicus to write something in the air.

all right! Anna was pleased to be his partner - well that went better...

OMG what happened to the lights? and everyone else for that matter??
Ohh listening to Professor Pierce's instructions we had to guide our partner's out of the maze? Only just had enough time to introduce ourselves!!

Oh well here goes - there's Anna's ribbon "left" checking the map in his hand Michael cast "firsitan green" for yes!! lets see how quick we can get you out of here Michael thought.

althought the slytherin first year Cameron? had some how managed to add sound effects to his sparks which was making it very hard to concentrate. everyone had started laughing!!

About to give up, and shoot another ribbon Liz swishes her wand up and says "Riso..." when all of a sudden red sparks go up. Ok, now to the left. she thinks. No, wait I asked if he was on my left, he said no. Ok, that means I need to go right.

Not realizing that when she turned around she actually hadn't turned completely and was now turning to the original left...instead of the right she thought she was going.

Copernicus breathed deeply, trying to figure out what to do first. She knew his name, at least, so he sent up his name in twisting ribbons, followed by a short message. Hopefully the girl would remember his name and would be able to help him out of this maze.

Copernicus's partner. Shoot blue sparks if you see this.

SuperCam took a few steps back again when eying the words made by the Hufflepuff prefect. Oooh, what temper. It reminded him of-Oh he should really start helping right now! Holding his wand and putting it high in the air he closed his eyes. He got the hang of this! It would make those disgusting sounds but it was good enough. What to do, what to do.

"FIRSITAN!" He yelled the spell out and managed to make Slytherin green sparks come out, thus emitting a larger whoopee cushion sound. WAIT. What if she took it as to continue going forward, not to go to left?! Nuuuuu. HE COULD KILL HER IF SHE WAS THERE TOO LONG!

After going in circles it seemed, for about 10 minutes, Liz comes to a spot, with a hole in a wall. When she walks through, she finds it either goes back the way she came to the left, or to the right...

"Risona" she says with a swish of her wand. Left green or right red?

Anna stayed put, waiting patiently for Michael's signal. Soon enough, a green spark shot from Michael's wand, and Anna was given the green light, no pun intended, to take a left. Anna did as the green spark directed and took off, happy to be heading forward once again. With newfound determination, Anna picked up her speed and hurried along through the maze. She'd be out of here in no time at all at this rate!

Maneuvering the maze was coming along quite nicely until the shoelace on Anna's right shoe came untied, causing her to stumble slightly and lose a bit of her balance. Anna reached her arms out in front of her in an attempt to steady herself, but it was too late, she'd stumbled right into Plymouth Morgan before she'd even had time to blink. "Oops," she mumbled, blushing slightly. "Sorry, Plymouth." Realizing she was also at another fork, Anna raised her wand, swished upward, silently casted "Risona," and sent up the word "Right?"

Ana was looking to the air and then she saw a message with Copernicus. Good! Blue? wasn't it green or red. well with all the green and red sparks how could people identify...she thought. "Firsitan!" and blue sparks came out of her wand.
