Lyra's eyes widened as she saw the same shade of pink fly up. Oh he was a smart cookie! OH YEAH! Hufflepuff! Duh! She began walking in the direction of the sparks that flew up in the air as she came to a fork in the road.

Hmmm...let's just chat because I know where he is.

This was too much fun and a good way to chat during class.

Wow, it worked! Set's partner had suddenly appeared on one of the outer passages. First an arrow pointing "<---" appeared. Set sent up red sparks. Then "--->" This time green sparks filled the air. His partner went a few feet and stopped. Set sent green sparks up three times. "Blocked" appeared in the air. "What" Set said to himself. On his map, the path was clear. He was just thinking, "by what?" when, "Sleepy Troll" appeared in mid-air. Set was just thining how to communicate "Run!!!" When his partner's letters appeared about 50 yards east of where he had been. This was good, he was near an exit. Set sent up green sparks to siganl "keep going!" A few minutes later his parnter came strolling out of one of the far exits! "Yes!" Set screamed! "We did it!"

Rian nodded. "Gladly," she said in a huff of air. She grabbed her things too, but looked around for a bit before leaving. No one she knew that well was done. She left the room alone, smiling slightly to herself.

Qaz caught her partner's signal...red...no...so left it is...

She made a left and started walking. She could hear the others all around her and was amazed () that they weren't tripping over each other.

Once again she came to a choice...pointed her wand up and said 'Risona' and as her ribbon shot in the air it spelled out Right?

Plymouth liked going right better than left. But, he trusted more little Cela more than his own likes. So, left it was. As he went left, he jumped up and down to see if he could get a look over the sides of the walls. No luck.

Finally, he came to a wall that was a complete dead end. A T shaped sort of ending. Plymouth scratched his back with his wand before sending up a," Almst?? I P, CT. &. LEFT??"


OH. A WHOLE WORD!!! Plymouth sent up happy sparks to celebrate. Hopefully it wouldn't mess anyone else up... hehe.

Trey was overwhelmed when his "Partner?" request had returned with green sparks. A lot of them as well. Apparently his new partner was awaiting a partner as well. Trey wanted to know who it was, but alas there was a no communication rule other then the ribbons. And they weren't going to respond to him unless it was a yes or no question. And what was he to do? Name off every name he could think of? He'd never make it out of the maze.

Trey continued to walk down a single path he had found, which turned out to be pretty long and allowed his mind to wander. There he was, running through a maze, sword in hand. Reaching a dragon! The dragon was guarding something, but whatever it was he hadn't thought about it. Trey unsheathed his sword, but the dragon had began to blow fire. He lifted his shield to block, BAM! Trey awoke from his day dream to not find a dragon and fire, but a hard wall. He shook the cobwebs from his head and got his bearings straight. Well there were two ways to go, and only the mystery partner knew which was right.

Trey said "Risona!" and formed the word "Left?" in the air. He'd always pick left first no matter what. He was left handed after all! Now all there was to do was look for the sparks.

Varius wasn't sure what ExpelledGirl was doing as she was supposed to be asking for directions, but he noted her ribbons were much closer than last time so at least she was moving - maybe she was smart enough to crack it on her own? She most certainly seemed to be in the mood for conversation and Varius was more than happy to oblige.

As he wasn't allowed to talk and he couldn't conjure ribbons he had to rely on green and red sparks to reply yes or no to Lyra's questions... or in this case, statement. He threw another pink spark into the air to grab her attention in case he lost it, before flinging up a green one to join it. He wished they had indicated a colour that would represent the word 'hell' so he could have responded, hell yeh - but that was just life, right?

Copernicus held out his arm to point at where he was sure his little partner was and spotted the red sparks. So... not right. She wanted him to turn left. He hated that, though, because now his back was to her and to the direction he'd come from. He took several long steps down this path until he met an opening on his left. This seemed wrong. It would lead him back the way he came, right?

Left?

Twilight tried to concentrate real hard so hard in fact that her forehead was all wrinkled up Firsitan she thought and concentrated on golden sparks. To her amazement she actually got golden sparks!

Celandine kept her head tipped back so she wouldn't miss any of Plymouth's coded messages. It was smart of him. Because it made it obvious that they were from him.

"Firsitan!" Cela set up an encouraging set of golden sparks before trying to figure out what on earth I P meant. Almost? I P, Celandine Toussaint and left? Noooo not left! Right! Cela shot up some red sparks and stared anxiously at the map.

Did I do it right? Yes! Melanie watched as the little blue dot made it's way across the path on the left. Her eyes sparkled with glee. Okay so... she wants to know if she should go er right? Melanie sent some green sparks up in the air. "Firsitan!" she yelled, wondering if it would make the sparks bigger. It didn't... in fact because of this she stuttered over her words and only one little teeny green spark came flying out. Oops...

Melanie cast the spell again. This time it worked perfectly.

Despite Plymouth's bladder and goal of beating Anna to give her congratulatory hug -- Plymouth took off running left. Just to mess with Cela.

He laughed so loud there was no doubt she, and everyone else, heard it. Hehe. Then, Plymouth did as she said and took the right route. His feet were getting tired, but at least he was getting practice. Even Plymouth knew that sending ribbons up in the air was dead useful.

At what Plymouth felt HAD TO BE the last stop (right? Unless Cela was messing with him, too? Probably - HAH), Plymouth sent up another message, "Mss me? U po. RIGT??" She missed him. Plymouth knew that Cela was missing him.

Cela let out a little noise of surprise as the little marker for Plymouth went the wrong way.... and then the right way. She sighed and looked up, waiting for a coded ribbon message.

Mss me? Mess, moss, miss? Miss! Hmmm would it make him go faster if she agreed? Cela sent up some green sparks... whats a po? Why was he calling her a po? Or was that an upside down D? Hmm so she hadn't needed to respond with an affirmative. Eh. She sent up more green sparks to indicate he should go right and crossed her arms across her chest in confusion.

Qaz zeroed in on her partners sparks...green this time, so she took the path to the right. It only went a few feet and there was an opening to the left, so she either continued straight or turned left. This time the ribbon that came out of her wand said left?

Zane watched as people filed out of the maze after finding their partners, "Well it looks like everyone had a partner. Darn it, hopefully Prof. won't take away points from Slytherin." he thought.

Lyra's eyes saw another little pinkie flare and smiled but then it was followed by a green one. OH she was on the right track. SNICKERS She forgot to ask for directions at the fork. OH well, he was another one.

Risona! 'Left?' she wrote as she knew what direction he had to be in but she had to play it cool. Silly girl couldn't give out their secret to success.

"TADAAAAAAAA!" Plymouth shouted, again, failing at the silence rule, at the sight of Cela at the exit. He did a little Irish river dance for her before picking up little Celadine and twirling around. "WINNERS! WINNERS!"

Plymouth sat her down and tried to shoot the word "WINNERS" in the air with the ribbon spell. "MINNERS!" went up instead. "Thanks, Cela!" Plymouth grinned and offered a high five (and not an accidental smooching, like last time).

Harley took a chance that the green sparks he saw were for him and went left, when he reached the next junction he sent up another message;

Yellow Left Green Right

He really hoped she understood the message, he could hear chatter from the outside of the maze he really hoped he was close to outside he wanted to go see Asher

Celandine looked up as Plymouth appeared and once again twirled her around like a maniac. Yeah being his friend was going to make her dizzy alot. She looked at his hand suspiciously before slapping her own against it and shooting up some celebratory sparks in various colours.

"Your code was a good idea." Celandine noted, smiling brightly.

They were getting close.... and WOO! She went the right way again. She eyed the map and then Melanie raised her wand up in the air and shouted. "Firsitan!" A line of purple sparks came flying out. ....Wait PURPLE?! Melanie quickly corrected herself, sending some green sparks up in the air. She silently willed her to ignore the purple sparks...

Code? Ummm.... "Oh yeah, oh yeah. I'm glad you picked up on that. You ARE the smartest girl in the school, huh?" Thank Merlin for that. "I have to go .. you know... potty now. If you see Anna, give her a hug from me, alright?"

Plymouth gave Cela a quick little hug and then dashed out of the room to relieve himself.

Give Anna a hug? Cela shrugged. She could do that, but for nowww she had homework to do. She wrinkled her nose as Plymouth hugged her again, sighing in relief when that was all he did. Merrr.

Boys = weird.

Cela picked up her things and left the classroom.

"Firsitan!" Jake pointed his wand towards the exit straight in front of him, hoping for red sparks, and getting Blue. "Stupid wand!" he grumbled. Never mind, it was just practice. Wrups... someone was talking to him.

"Oh, come on," Jake grinned. "You're fine," he bit his tongue as he stuck it out, when he noticed the tear. "Are you CRYING?!" he shouted. "I made Cameron Karsten CRY?!" Bwahahahaaaa!!!!! His best friend seemed fine, except the flatulating wand, of course. "Sorry, mate."

Ok... Jake just apologised. What's that all about?

Jake looked up at the other boy. "Follow your own advice, mate," he said, using his wand to move the hair away from his eyes. "Wait for someone to ask for a partner."
