Alex took a deep breath and rubbed her temple for a second before continuing. "Alright, now on to the lesson. For those of you under fourth year, we will be learning the wand sparks spell. A very useful spell which can be used to call for help or just to signal to somone else. For fourth years and above, you will be learning how to conjure ribbons and form them into words, like so." Alex flicked her wand over her head and a long crimson ribbon appeared to snake its way out of her wand and formed the words, 'Like so.' above Alex's head. "Now before I give you instructions, any questions?"

Chris smiled as he go the five directions freya sent him. Man this was getting harder. He shot five sparks in the air, the first four red and the last green.

Freya took the far right as she was instructed to do. The air was becoming more free...perhaps that meant that she was almost out. Freya was almost jogging as she made her way down the long path, then spotted a familiar sight. "Finally!" She said enthusiastically and walked out of the maze, the familiar sight was Chris. "That only took about thirty minutes...interesting though. Good job on your part I guess." Freya said to Chris and brought her hand down on the younger boys shoulder, but quickly removed it. Green. That was a yes. Okay then... Rian chewed on her bottom lip as she took a few tentive steps into the left tunnel. It was slightly darker this way, which freaked Rian out a bit. Breathe. she told herself sternly. It's okay. The Proffessor won't let anything horrible happen to you. She had to keep telling herself that, though, or else she would start getting panicy.

Another three way stop. Im right here she sent up again. She turned a few circles, then muttered the spell again. Right? the ribbon asked. Rian breathed a shaky breath again as she thought sarcastically, Well, at least I'm getting good at the spell...I'll be able to do it silently when I'm finished with this.

Was he coming? If she was asking, Plymouth Morgan was DEFINITELY coming. Soooo... he followed Anna. He got to look at her pretty hair and think about what it probably felt like...

With new found motives, Plymouth sent up a frantic "ROTT???" that was horrible. Followed by a "CT" and another square.

Plymouth definitely had a trademark on the square.

The blue ribbons appeared directly in front of Cadence, somewhere down the path ahead of her that was practically pitch black. Excitement ran through her veins; Rian was almost out, she had to be. She practically yelled "Firsitan!" and green sparks for yes erupted from her wand.

HOLY HULA!

Varius was gone and she was in the middle of no where. OH this was great! Good thing she paid attention in class or she would be completely lost. Hmmm...how to get his attention and know it was her! "Risona!"

A ribbon formed in the air that read the words "Expelled Girl has arrived!"

Cela saw... something... oh! she got it now! Plymouth was trying to test her and make it harder so that she wouldn't get bored with simply throwing up sparks! Celandine threw up a multitude of multi-coloured sparks in response to the square and her initials before getting down to business with "Firsitan!" and casting some neato Green sparks to Plymouth's question about whether he should go right. Rott? Right!

When she reached the girl she hardly knew, she threw her arms around the Hufflepuff in a big hug. "We did it! You did it!" She was much too happy to worry about looking like an idiot.

Set's partener was assuming too much. and you know what happens when you assume..... you make a....well anyways! When ever he'd write a question in mid-air and Set put red sparks up for no, he would assume it's the other way. But it was actually backwards!!!!! He was trying to think of a way to communicate silently "Backwards!!!". He finally yelled "Firstian" about seven times, thinking a different color each time. Set knew his partner had gotten the messsage when two minutes later, Set saw "Left?" in mid-air 10 yards back. This time, it was green sparks that flew!

Mariel bit her lower lip as she waited for her partner to respond to her sparks. Looking up she saw ribbon words forming. Left? She looked down at the map that had appeared in her hands after she accepted this person as her partner. It was rather complicted so she turned it a bit to try to estimate if left would be a good choice for the dot to turn. It looked like it to her, so pointing her wand, she commanded, "Firsitan," and watched as green sparks for yes shot out.

Speaking of squares... if Plymouth made another right, wouldn't he have made a complete square? Maybe green meant no? Maybe Plymouth was color blind? Oh NO.

And, he really had to pee now, especially since he was thinking about it again.

"SHT CUT!!! LT??? P!!!" Surely Cela would know that meant, "short cut, LEFT? I have to pee." Surely. Plymouth was so sure. He squirmed around the next turn waiting for the reply.

Set waited. His partner should have sent up a ribbon question by now. He was just pondering if his partner had gotten out and not told him, when a very odd question came. "Up?". What the..... What kind of question was this. Two more words appeared. "Stairs" and
"--->" pointing towards the ground. What. There were stairs in this maze? Well, let's see what hapens? Set raised his wand and yelled "Firstian!" Green sparks flew high in the air.

"FIRSITAN!" he yelled and pointed the wand high in the air. Green sparks came out, that actually came high enough. This was starting to get easy, as long as he ignored that sound that was coming out of it.

Yeees. Go left Kayla.

Plymouth SPRINTED down the next corridor and skidded around a corner to find himself at another Fork in the maze. So, Plymouth, feeling like the master of ribbons, sent up the following,

"I *weird heart shaped thing* U CT! GT ME OUF! RIT?"

Indeed. Plymouth WOULD love Cela if she got him out. He was getting antsy and bladder was getting fuller. No more pumpkin juice before transfiguration, right? He had to dash to the loo and BACK before Anna got out.

Varius wished all these other inconsiderate classmates would stop conjuring ribbons and sparks and allow him to concentrate! Sheesh! He could hardly see all the messages because most of the ribbons overlapped each other, like an entire book printed on the exact same page.

However, luck eventually came on his side when he noticed ExpelledGirl's message. Huzzah! He was unsure now, how to draw her attention to him... he couldn't conjure ribbons and how would she distinguish his sparks from the others? "Ahh," he sighed in relief. He raised his wand and sent up some pink sparks that matched the colour of her ribbon. Hopefully she caught on to this and was now facing the right direction in which to send her questions. C'mon team H00fle!

Right what?! Oh wait yeah the maze.... Melanie looked down at her map and found a blue dot. Er... she needs to go left. I think. She flipped the map over a few times to make sure she was looking at it right and then shot some red sparks up "Firsitian.. red" she said, scrunching up her face in concentration. When she looked up (out of one eye I might add) there was red sparks. Oh yeah. She could dance.

"I made it out!" Rian exclaimed. She beamed as she jumped back. "But you led me out! Congrats!" she was just happy to be out of that place.
