"Holy Dumbledore?" Melanie asked, smirking. She was very pleased with his reaction. Sweet sweet revenge. mwaha.

She smiled when he asked, just what she wanted to talk about. "Cadence." she answered simply. Melanie decided to wait for his response to this before she went into further detail.

"What about her? Where is she anyway?" Set asked.

Cel was a little surprised to note that she actually kind of needed a bit of a hand getting up the stairs. She felt all slow and tired all of a sudden. "I wish Healer Intern Trelawney was still here, I liked her. She reminded me of my mother. She made me notice I was being a bad Ravenclaw. It's a little bit because of her that I'm trying to be good Ravenclaw now, most of the time."

Celandine sneezed again and gave her nose a little smack in annoyance. "Plymouth is very sweet isn't he?" Cela took Cope's explanation as gospel and smiled brightly.

"Oh!" her smile faltered a little bit and Cela took a breath to explain, "He was talking to Garret while I was in the tree with Daphne and Him, then when Daphne and I got down, we went over there and Daffy and Metal-Mouth had cake issues and Barry gave me a christmas present and told me that he like liked me," Cela blushed and gave a little sniff, "Then he kissed me here," Cela pointed at her cheek, "and told me to think about it even though he knows about Plymouth, and I went straight to see Cassiopeia."

"Yes," Copernicus sighed in agreement and let her go at the top of the stairs. "Plymouth is very sweet indeed. He's a good chap and you could do a lot worse. And now that I'm through lecturing you on how great my brother is... do you need to sit down and rest for a moment?" He sort of hovered solicitously over her.

"It was very wrong of Barry to kiss you, and to burden you with his feelings, while you were with someone else. I know sometimes we have these things inside that we feel so deeply we can't imagine not sharing them... but that's selfish, don't you think? He didn't have to tell you that and make you all worried." Copernicus considered her story again. "Who is... Him?"

Sneezing again until her eyes started to water Cela leaned against the wall and smiled brightly up at Copernicus, "I know, and if he hadn't come to see me with that poem and stuff he wouldn't be my boyfriend right now." Cela blushed a bit. The whole thing was still so strange. "I think I'll just lean for a while." she decided, pressing her face against the cool stone of the wall. Felt nice.

"It was scary." Cela agreed, her eyelashes fluttering closed, "but if I like liked him back then it wouldn't have been so bad. But he's my friend. Should I pretend like nothing happened or something like that? Why does he want me to think about it anyway? And what am I supposed to think about?" Cela lifted one hand to tug at her hair ribbon, "Do you think thats why he buys me things? He got me an Owl and a Pygmy Puff for my last two birthdays."

Cela sneezed again and pushed herself off the wall in excitement, swaying the tiniest bit, "Oh, Him!" Cela reached down her shirt with an expression of concentration before pulling her hand up and thrusting it at Copernicus, "Him is my scorpion." She happily explained between sneezes.

The poem and flowers. Right. That was Copernicus's doing, and he was sort of... regretting it now. But it made Plymouth happy, and Cela looked happy, so it should make him happy as well.

"So you're saying that if you felt the same way about Barry, then it wouldn't have been so bad that he shared how he felt?" Hmmm. Even with Plymouth? "Maybe that makes it worth the effort on his part, then. He didn't know for sure that you just wanted to be friends until he put himself out on a limb. It went badly for him, but it could have gone very well if you felt differently."

He took the scorpion and held it up to his own nose. "You keep a scorpion as a pet? In your shirt?"

"Yes because it would mean that I wouldn't make him sad." Cela explained, "He's been a very nice friend to me and he even tried to be nice to my broth... oh!" Alright... so Cela just figured out why that might be. She flopped against the wall again, "I don't know anything about this stuff Cope, you know I have theories but," Cela sneezed again and took a moment before continuing, "It's just all of a sudden everything is different. I don't even feel like candy right now."

Possibly that had more to do with feeling a bit under the weather than with anything else.

"I do. He likes it down there, its warm." Cela watched as Cope took Him and let out a little exclamation before digging in her pocket and pulling out a little vial, "If you don't want to get hurt if Him stings you, then you need to take some of this. Three drops." Cela pushed the vial into Cope's other hand. "I want a tarantula too. And maybe a gecko or something like that." She sneezed again and whimpered slightly.

That was for sure information Copernicus would pass on to Plymouth first chance he got, but in the meantime... he took the three drops as she had instructed. No need to drop over dead from a scorpion sting when there was a way to avoid it right there. Once he took the potion, Cope studied the scorpion from head to tip of the tail.

"I liked your theories, by the way. I never told you, but... they seem sound. Well thought out, if lacking research," he leaned against the wall next to her and offered Him back. "But there are some theories that require limited research."

Cela watched Copernicus take the potion and nodded in satisfaction. It was cool that Cope wasn't worried about playing with Him and even seemed to find the scorpion as interesting as she did. She sneezed again.

"You did?" Cela brightened, "I didn't think you did because you went all funny and ran away when I told you when Metal-Mouth and Daffy were there." Cela turned her head to study Cope seriously and took Him back. She petted the scorpion happily, "Why limited? I want to research my hypothesis as much as I can. I might need to find some volunteers though." Celandine mused, rubbing her watering eyes and sneezing violently again.

She slid down the wall, unintentionally taking a seat on the ground. It was just hard to stand. Sitting was easier. Cela carefully tucked Him down her shirt again and smiled a little woozily up at Cope.

Jack walked along the corridor just thinking, he was on the lookout for any random person who might hex him for the DADA homework

Anna wandered up and down the corridors, searching everywhere she could for Seymour Addams. Where on Earth could the boy have gone? Anna peeked behind a statue, hoping maybe she could find the young Slytherin sitting back there and studying quietly. Nope, no Seymour. Anna threw her hands up in the air in desperation. The one person she needed to find more than anyone else seemed to be nowhere in sight. Reaching another statue, Anna peeked behind it, as well. "Seymour?" she asked, coughing when she accidentally inhaled a mouthful of dust. Nope...definitely not there. She'd just have to keep looking....somebody, somewhere had to know where Seymour Addams was hiding. "Seymour!!"

Reese skipped into the third floor corridor,humming a little song.She stopped skipping when she noticed Anna...looking behind statues?Uhhhhh-She walked over to her and tapped her on the shoulder. "Whatcha doing?"she asked. She was quite surious to know why Anna was looking behid the stautes.Was she looking for someone?Or something?

Nathaniel had nothing to do today so he thought he'd wander around the castle. As he walked down the corridor he saw his house Prefect looking behind statues and what not. Wow. What a nutter he thought to himself. He walked up to her "Umm, lost something?" he asked the older girl while moving his hair out of his eyes. He'd never reallly talked to her before.. besides that one time when he almost got in trouble

From her spot on the floor next to Copernicus, Celandine sneezed. She perked up with interest upon seeing Anna yelling for Seymour. Oooooh Seymour! Cela hadn't seen him for a while. She sneezed again and eyed Anna woozily, "Seymour is probably building a shrine for Will or something. Darn. Why didn't I think of that first?" Cela rubbed her eyes and tugged on her hair ribbon a few times.

Jack smiled "Hey, need help" he asked curiously

Anna poked her head back out from behind yet another statue. She looked around when she heard a few people talking, supposedly to her. Oh, wonderful! Help has finally arrived! Maybe she'd be able to find Seymour Addams in no time. Her gaze traveled from Reese...to Nathaniel...to Celandine...to Jack. Well why don't you just look at that? One student from every house! Excellent! "Oh, thank goodness you four are here! I don't suppose any of you have seen Seymour Addams around the castle, have you?" she asked. "I've looked everywhere, yet no one seems to know where Seymour is. It's quite important that I find him, you see."

What was so awesome about this Seymour Addams guy? wondered the young Gryffindor. He looked at everyone with a raised eyebrow. "Umm I have no idea who the heck that is." he said to the prefect with a sympathetic look. Maybe she was in loove with him. Girls do that stuff ya know. They stalk boys.

Reese jerked her head to Jack when he arrived.JACK?!Ohmygosh.She still hated him.But,she was going to keep her cool.Especially around Anna.She crosed her arms and looked away.

Reese looked back at Anna when she got her head out from behind the statue. "Seymour Addams...you mean that dork from Slytherin?"she asked."I've seen him around,but I've never talked to him." Wait,why was Anna looking for Seymour? Did he do something to her?Well,if must hae done something bad if a Prefect ws after him."Why are you looking for him?What did he do?"

Celandine sneezed and brought her knees up to her chin, looking up at Anna curiously, "What are you going to do with him?"

"Well, Seymour is a Slytherin boy, a second year, and he's quite a nice person, you see," Anna explained. "He and I have a few things we need to discuss, yet I can't seem to find him anywhere. Would you mind doing me a favor? If you see him hanging around school or in any of your classes, would you kindly ask him to see Anna Greingoth? I'd really appreciate it..."

Noticing how uneasy Reese seemed to be around Jack, Anna quickly moved to stand in between the Slytherin girl and Hufflepuff boy. She didn't have time to break up a huge duel in the middle of the corridors. It was urgent that she spend all her free time looking for Seymour Addams. "Awww, Reese. Let's be nice about Seymour, alright? I'm sure if you gave him the chance, he'd turn out to be quite nice. Anyway, yes, I'm looking for Seymour Addams. I just have a few things to discuss with him. If you see him, just tell him I said hello and that I need to speak with him," she said. "Make sure you say please."

"I'm not going to do anything with him...I just need to talk with him," Anna replied. "I have something I'd like to give to him, as well. Anyway, same goes for you---if you see him, you know the drill, right?" Anna asked. If she never found Seymour or gained his forgiveness, one couldn't say she at least didn't try...

"Anything for a fellow Gryffindor" Nathaniel said with a grin. "I'll see you later". He turned on heel and wandered off. He had things to do. He'd never seen this boy the prefect had talked about. Whatever..

Reese moved over a little bit when Anna got between her and Jack.Yuuuuup.Now she couldn't mess up Jack's perfect little face if he tried anything. "Alright.I'll be nice.Anyways,I never said he wasn't nice,I just said he looked like a dork,"she told Anna with a grin. "What do you have to discuss with him?" She raised her eyebrow. "Pleassse?I always say please.Because I'm a good little girl with manners."

Jack smiled "Nope, sorry, who is he?" Jack asked

Copernicus reached down and lifted Celandine, attempting to set her on her feet. She seemed kind of... floppy, so he held on to her. "I don't think you're going to be looking for anyone right now. Let's just go see the Healer and we can join Anna's Suddenly Seymour Search." He wiggled his fingers at those still waiting and turned to head toward the infirmary. Copernicus could be bossy when he had to be.

"Okay, Cope. Whatever you say." Celandine agreed breezily, "I haven't seen Seymour in a really long time. He's nice. We are making Will proud." Celandine waved cheerfully at the others in the corridor and sneezed several times as Copernicustook her to see the nurse. She clung on to him like a limpet, "Hey, Cope? Got any candy?"
