"Uh. Yeah, but I can't reach it when I'm carrying you," he made a face to indicate how much it sucked that he didn't have three arms. "You can have it after your Pepper Up potion." He turned down the hallway and headed for the infirmary. "So... what were you saying before about volunteers?" |
Antonio was walking in the hallway when he noticed a few Ravenclaw students, a boy and a girl. He recognized both of them as being very good students, and they were both wearing the special DADA badge, he noticed. He wondered how prepared they were going to be for the special mission Professor Kazimirez had requested as he took out his wand and pointed it at the duo, speaking the word "Rictusempra". Would they protect themselves, or would they succumb to uncontrollable laughter? |
Well, that was unpleasant timing. This must be one of the Defense Professor's Dark Artists, or whatever, and of course they get attacked when his hands were full of very sick Cela. And he couldn't get his wand and he couldn't just drop her... SIGH. Copernicus put his arm protectively around Cela's head and promptly hit the floor on top of her. It wasn't graceful, and she'd be bruised, but they'd dodged. "Distract him," he wheezed, scrambling for his wand. |

She had the presence of mind to pull her wand, but probably wouldn't do so well with defending herself until she'd been to the infirmary. It was all on Copernicus. Her... ...Hero? |
Antonio looked down and realized the mistake he had made in ambushing Celandine just then. "Oh my, are you feeling all right?", he asked. "I apologize for that sneak attack, I was trying to help keep you students on your toes, but perhaps the timing was a bit off. Do you need help getting her to the infirmary?", he asked the male, Copernicus. |
"No, sir. Please go ahead and attack us. I think Cela would like a chance to throw up a shield, and then we'll be on our way," he held out his wand to show he was ready and there were no bad feelings. Better to get this out of the way now. |

"Do you think so?", asked Antonio. He really was feeling a little concerned, Celandine didn't appear to be well at all, but these two students were asking for a chance to defend against a hex so he had to oblige. In looking at the two of them, he came to a quick decision that Copernicus was probably able to defend himself better at the moment, as he seemed to be feeling better and he didn't want to throw a hex or jinx against someone who was ill, it wouldn't be fair. Using his wand again, he mumbled the twitchy ears hex at Copernicus, wondering again if he would protect himself by using the shield charm or allow himself to be hit. He hoped he would protect himself, he was beginning to feel a bit guilty about this entire exercise. He wasn't the type to hex students in the hall, but Professor Kazimeriz had wanted people to do this and he had agreed. Well, volunteered, really, so it was no one's fault but his own if he felt badly about it. |
Copernicus was already inching around the hallway to plant himself in front of Cela in case the hex came her way. Maybe that was underestimating her abilities, but she was still looking kind of floppy to him. And floppy didn't do shield charms very well. And then the professor moved, and the spell was cast. Without hesitation, Copernicus raised his wand and cast a very focused shield. The spell cast off his shield and rebounded in the direction of the professor. Oh no! That wasn't supposed to happen! They weren't supposed to fight back. "Watch out!" |
Antonio actually laughed as the spell hit him unexpectedly and his ears began to twitch. He knew that it was an accident and that the boy was mortified, but it had been his fault to begin with for sneaking up on these two and trying to ambush them when Celandine wasn't feeling well. "Good job!", he told Copernicus. "I hope the two of you have a nice evening. See you both in class." With that he turned and left the pair on their own, this whole thing had been just a bit - er - embarrassing. |
"Thank you, sir," Copernicus waited until the man had disappeared before he hurried over to pick Cela up again. "You were great," he grinned at her. |

"So?" Copernicus shuffled his feet as they headed down the hall from the infirmary. "How do you feel? Any better, or is the Healer a quack?" |

"Ah..." He paused to put his hand on her neck, holding her still. "Yup, just a bit still. How does it feel, though? Does it tickle?" Eek! He was holding her neck. Let go, Cope! |

"I think," he grinned at the head bumping. She was like an Abraxan foal, communicating through nuzzles. He'd seen her do that to Plymouth too. "I think you must be better. And I think you should teach me to climb trees. Is it hard?" |
Quote:
"I can show you." She told him, "I used to climb trees with Garret." her face clouded a little, "But I bet you'd be really good at it." |
"I might fall and die, though. Sometimes that happens when you climb trees," he gave a very solemn nod as he removed his hand, followed by a cheeky wink. "I have a gift for you. For Christmas. Not as good as what you'll get from Plymouth. You can have it... if you keep me from dying before I get to the top of the tree." |
Quote:
"Okay and I'll give you your gift later because, well I dont have it on me now and it might break if you drop it from the tree." Cela shifted from foot to foot and grinned up at Copernicus, "Hey, Cope? Race you!" She turned on her heel and darted down the corridor. |
He didn't even have to let her win, because Cela was small and fast, and Copernicus's father had spent a lifetime telling him to WALK, lad! He took off after her anyway, hoping he didn't trip on his robes or sprint past a professor in the corridor. |
Strolling down the corridor, Evolette McKenna reached up, and pulled her hair out of the perfect bun that she had put it in this morning. It had been a good idea at the time, but now it was just giving her a headache. Stopping alongside the wall, she placed her bag on the ground beside her and shook her head, allowing her dark locks to fall down, in perfect place. Then, reaching into her pocket, she produced a mirror. It was hardly as if she needed to check her hair, but she was going to anyway. Perfection. As per usual. |
Willow smelled nice and after his encounter with her, Cam was on some sort of a girl hunt to see which had the best shampoo. Which girl smelled better than lemon and jasmine though? He had tons of those shampoo bottles so he wanted to go slow and slow so that he'd still have the time to get some girl to lend him their shampoo. He started with the third floor and would probably transition up to the upper floors until he found the perfect girl. The girl that smelled like candy and sweets. Maybe even the girl who smelled like something else that smelled nice. Like tangerine-scented shampoos. He wondered if the professors had shampoos that smelled twice as nice as the students. Bleh, he'd just have to wait and see. That was the cruel part of the world, when you didn't have super powers that allowed you to see what people smelled like. I think I'm the most nice-smelling boy in this whole entire school. Yeah, that's right! Flicking his hair, he smelled the nice scent of lemon and jasmine, Willow's shampoo. HE LOVED THIS! Starting to skip across the corridor to go up to the next floor, he smelled something. Cinnamon. Cam took steps back and the more steps he took back, the more he smelled it. It was a girl, he was certain that it was a girl. Now standing before him was this Slytherin girl, she looked to be about Willow's age. Not knowing what to say and everything, he just reached out to poke her nose. "You smell real nice, lady." |

She closed the mirror with a loud snap, and placed it back into her pocket, reaching down to pick up her bag and carry on along her way. When.... someone poked her nose. Blinking, Evolette turned her cool blue eyes on a boy. He looked younger than her, age she wasn't quite certain of, but she knew that she'd never seen him around before. "Thank you." she said, when he told her that she smelled nice. She was certain had this boy been older, her scent would have affected him another way, which, was mostly the reason she liked smelling like cinnamon. "You do too actually." she added, she couldn't quite place the smell, but it wasn't the normal little boy smell of dirt and sweat, it was... clean and sort of girly. |
Quote:
"Thanks, I got it from Willow. I dunno if ya know her though." To Cam, the girl was pretty and her hair made her look even more prettier. Oh wait, he shouldn't have said that. He was indeed a believer of cooties and it was illegal to say that, it sounded wrong to him that he would think a girl was pretty. Hehe. Well there were a few girls he thought was pretty and couldn't really stop from liking them, but like this one, they were way too old for him. Sad sad sad. And cinnamon, oh the sweet smell of cinnamon. It reminded him that he didn't eat much at the Great Hall or else he would've been late for classes and this girl certainly made him super hungry. The sound of his stomach grumbling came up, and he basically punched his own stomach in front of the girl's eyes. It was a very odd thing to do, but he couldn't resist his stomach making noises that sounded like someone abusing a goat. If this girl smelled like cinnamon, then--Idea. Idea. Idea. Animal instincts. They were starting, and his eyes just shined and his face turned into a face of a maniac. Cam couldn't stop his intention to... bite the girl's hand to see if she tasted like cinnamon too. UGH. CAN'T. STOP. URGE. His mouth was already open and showed his almost white teeth in front of her. Now he looked like some nutcracker man, about to break something. Surely the girl would probably run away by now from this. Yummy cinnamon. Think about the yummy cinnamon. She. Probably. Tastes... He couldn't stop himself really, so he basically fell down on the floor and twitched his body now and then, he looked about a total freak just about now. But his mouth was still open though, he wanted some cinnamon. He wanted cinnamon NOW. |
