Oh noes! Vannie must've heard her, unless there was any other reason she had cast the shield charm on her, which clearly made her jinx .. well, not work. Looking around at the people nearby, she pressed herself against the wall, hoping her Huffie friend wouldn't find her.

But clearly, she was approaching and Evangeline pointed her wand at herself. "Protego!" She said as quietly as she could, happy to see the shield around her. Just incase.

As she was walking back down the corridor, a little more carefully this time, Vanessa glanced at the others who were in the corridor. There seemed to be a young hufflepuff, ooh and Slytherin who quickly hexed the young hufflepuff.
Casting her sheild charm again, she walked past them, but not before she heard someone say something quietly.

So there was someone else there! But she couldn't see them well not yet. She walked a little furthur, until she found Evangeline, pressing herself up the wall. "Evviee!" She looked a little shocked. Her own frieend! "How dare you," She giggled, looking at her. Smirking at her, she quickly cast a stinging hex, not realising that Evie probably still had the Protego sheild up.

As Jake backed up, he seemed to encounter the very thing he was trying to escape from. "ACK! PROTEGO!" Jake shouted as he fell, but it was too late, and he was down.

"EVIL!" Jake shouted, springing back up. What did he do now? Fight back? Eat the culprit? Who was the culprit?

"Helloooooo?"

Her face softened as she watched him fall. At least he didn't hurt himself, she thought to herself. She stepped out in front of him. "I'm sorry Jake," She said softly as she walked up to him. "You leave yourself so open," she tried to explain to him.

Jake yelped in surprise as he saw Paris. "You...?" he whispered, feeling slightly betrayed.

No! Shake it off.

"I do?" Jake asked her, a little miffed. It was good being small and less of a target... but he supposed he was kind of open for a free shot all the time. "I'll just... be on the look-out, more... I guess..."

Oh gosh, the look on his face almost killed her. She didn't think he would take it that serious. "Oh Jake. I'm sorry." she said. "The last think I wanted to do was hurt your feelings," she told him. She would have to stick with people she didn't know of older students who would understand better than Jake. He was just too sensitive. "You can hex me if you want to." She added softly.

Jake shook his head and smiled. "No, no," he explained. "It's fine... the whole point of the game, right?"

It really was no big deal. "I chose to wear the badge... no biggie..." he grinned. "And... I might hex you... but not now," Jake grinned evilly. "It's fine."

She almost sighed in relief and then she smiled. "Ok," She told him. "I'll be waiting for you." She quickly kissed him on the cheek and dashed down the corridor in search for her next victim.

Cam was still sitting on the floor, his eyes closed and not caring of the destruction that was about in the corridor. He tried to ignore when Jake probably insulted him and then went to his happy place. Were they both looking at him strangely? Thinking he was a freak, but he was just trying to help the two of them. People were like... MEAN these days. Super mean, but he stayed calm and everything.

"Ah... Yes, but the lemur must get in touch with a clean-freak sometime, no? Or else it wouldn't balance our... erm... world. So did you take deep, deep breaths yet?"

He wondered if he could do this when he grew up.

Penny giggled at his comment. When hs started to poke her, she laughed out loud. The she swatted at his hand playfully. "Would you....stop poking me?" she laughed. She smiled at him when he mentioned is mum. "That is good. If she wasn't you would be Boring Maddox Darcy." she told him. Penny was happy to hear about Suzy and her boyfriend. "So when are you going to settledown, my handsome stranger?" she asked him playfully.

She smiled as he started over again. There, that is much better...

"Nice to meet you, Cam," she said as she found out that the two were best friends. A bit of an odd pairing, but whatever. She gave a chuckle and said, "What were you possibly doing in the Potions lab to cause that?"

"Wait, did you just call me a lemur?" Blink. This kid was just weird.

Jake frowned down at Cameron. "Quit calling me that, you nutter," he exclaimed, releasing his hold on the boy. Oh yes, they were best friends... it just... wasn't all that obvious.

"I... erm..." Jake looked back up to Lima... the lemur. "I should really... go..." he muttered. "Homework and such, ya know?" Jake turned around for a second, keeping his eye open for anyone who was about to jump out at him... again. "See ya later, Whiggly Worm... Have fun talking to Cameron..."

That'll be... interesting...

That being said, Jake bolted suddenly down the corridor and out of sight.

Kaitlynn had just decided she wanted to go for a walk. She'd just recieved a letter from her sister at the ministry and was reading it over as she strolled down the corridor. She really hadn't been in contact with most of them, except one. They'd been really good friends, and had compacs made when she left so they could keep in touch. She'd try to get ahold of her for her sister, though she really didn't know why she needed it. Her letter was pretty vague.

Rian walked carefully down the hall, not wanting another trip to the Hospital wing. She looked around, making sure to keep a safe distance away from any moving - or not moving, for that matter - object.

As observant as she was in that minute, she saw someone who she hadn't talked to in quite a while. Actually, she'd only talked to her once, and that was last year.

Oh well, what did it matter? Any friend of Rian's was a good friend of Rian's.

She carefully walked up to Kaitlynn. "Hi," she greeted cheerfully, smiling.

Kait turned around as someone said hi. She folded the letter and placed it back in the pocket of her robes and said, "Hi," she paused before saying anything else and then smiled as it hit her why the girl looked familiar. "You're Rian, right?" she asked.

Rian nodded to Kait's question. "Yep, that's me. I'm the one that walked backwards through the tree grove, last year," she said, blushing slightly. That was sure a weird day...

"Anywayyy..." she said quickly, changing the subject. "How are you?"

Kait smiled as she remembered that day. "I'm pretty good," she said, "How are you doing?"

Rian smiled and nodded again. "Hmm, that's good," She looked around and placed her feet a couple inches apart. She wasn't taking any chances - she would not be a klutz again. Well, today, anyway.

"I'm good too. Well, I've been better, actually. I just sprained my ankle." she shook her head. The idea still perplexed her.

Cam stood up from his meditating form on the floor and gave up on what he was trying to do. He wanted them to sound like a monk too, they really should have answered like "oh yes, wise one" or "your words are too wise for me to handle". Taking a few more deep breaths, he leaned over to Lima and randomly waved his hand at her. "OHAI!" He said it as though it was his first time meeting this girl--well it was, but he said it like he just met her a second ago.

Deciding to ignore what really "happened in Potions class", he looked back at Jake who left them so he was basically alone with a lemur. "Yeah, I called you a lemur. I think they're cool since lemurs are cool and awesome." Random again and it probably didn't even make sense to her. Waving a goodbye to Jake, he looked back at the girl and waved his hand AGAIN!

"So watcha up to, huh?" Curiosity never killed the cat, they have 9 lives and would already be road-killed before being curious for the 9th time, right?

"Hey you never know what could happen, we live in a very unstable world you know" she gave a small laugh but it was totally true, Kayla had seen some bad things over the summer and quite frankly she was lucky to be here at all. Kayla pulled a face at him as he spoke about the hat and then smiled when he said the words she of course had been waiting to hear. "Um...what about football? have you ever heard of that?" she asked.

"Very true." he added as now he was curious." So if today was the last day. What would you do?" she wouldnt be spending it here, that was for sure. he snickered a little as she gave him a face, which was fixed after she heard his comment. She was easily pleased. "Football? As in like...the one you play with your feet. The round ball one?" Right? that was the right one." Your not..erh going to like kick it at my head are you? I like my face."

She gave it some serious thought before answering. "If I had a full twenty four hours, I would spend six of those hours with my friends and the remaining eighteen with Nico of course" she answered honestly. "Yes that's the one" Kayla replied and then laughed at his comment. "Of course I won't, unless of course your head gets in the way" she said with an innocent expression.

Set walked into the corridor looking for Meliene. he had gotten a note to meet her here. Where was she?

Melanie popped her head around the corner. Better be here... she thought, her eyes searching through the people in the corridor. Grinning mischievously, she sneaked up behind him and when she was about a foot away she shouted. "BOO!"

Not the most mature thing to do buuuut honestly. Who cared? Snd she was so getting him back from earlier...

That wasn't why she was here though.

"Holy, Dunbledore!" Set said. "What's going on? What did you want to talk about?" he asked.
