Jake backed away again. "Oh... shut it!" he exclaimed. "You're just saying you would because you could... like I'd care..." Jake rooted through his pockets again. He wanted needed sugar.

"It's up to meeeeee what I do," he added, pulling out a muggle lollipop he could gaze at. "As long as I stay within the rules. And you can't do anything. Because if you hex me that makes you a big nasty..." ARGH! I NEED AN INSULT! "... bloody lunatic!"

Clap... clap...

Clap.

Jake glared for a second, before folding his arms across his chest. HMPH!!!!!

Maddox smiled and replied, "Speak to you soon Elizabeth." He waved, and walked towards Penny. Elizabeth was a really great girl. But was she fiesty enough to be one of his girl's. He would definatly get slapped by her, but she could still be a friend nontheless.




Maddox grinned and quietly sat down next to Penny. "What cha reading love?" He kissed her cheek, then leaned back and placed his arm around her shoulder. "Where have you been? I've missed you like crazy." He smiled and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.

Penny smiled at Mads when he sat down. She closed her book. "Just studying." she told him. She leaned into him when he put his arm around her shoulder and sighed. "I have been going insane. Studying is making me mental. Awe, I missed you too." she said and leaned up and kissed his cheek.

"I wouldn't kid about that," Dominic reminded the flying professor lightly, as they moved along towards the sleeping dragon. Closer. "Neither did we, until, I think it was Kayla who saw it first... But wow, never stood outside the portrait long enough to find that one out."

Maddox smiled as she leaned into him. They were just so....compatible. He shook the thought off. "Your not the only one. But the new Professor's are very great teachers. I really like classes this term." He smiled as she kissed his check, "Thank you for that. And you better have missed me. Its been what a year?" He grinned and poked her side, knowing full well it had only been like a couple weeks. Even though they were in the same house, they rarely saw each other.

Penny nodded in agreement about the Professors. The classes were a different story all in their own. She smiled when Mads thanked her for the kiss. "Of course I have. And it has been more like ten years." she said with a giggle as he poked her. She thought for awhile. They have not had an actul conversation since the train. "How is your mom and Suzy doing?" she asked him.

Maddox smield and shook his head in disagreement. "Now thats pushing it a bit i believe ma'am." He said with a chuckle and poked her a couple more times in the side. Ah the fam. He sighed and replied, "Well Mum...is...fiesty as ever," he grinned and continued, "and Suzy is well. She and her boyfriend are still together, surprisingly." 'Frenchmen...'He thought to himself. He would never understand the appeal of them.

She stared at him in shock for a minute then got a hurt look on her face. "Do you really mean that Jake?" She wasn't kidding either. She really was hurt by what he had told her.

Grrrrr...

"I can't hack people... threatening me!" Jake said angrily. "Just... don't say stuff like that... I've had it bad enough since I've started at this... school..."

Jake's brow furrowed. Why couldn't people see how much that scared him? "If you really meant you'd hex me, then yes, I DID mean it..." Jake squeezed his eyes shut, and then opened them, and then closed them again, and kept repeating it. He couldn't see how hurt Lima was.

Lima heard how upset he was about her threatening him. "Aww, Jakey Wakey. I didn't meant all that. I swear." She grabbed him in a hug and then let him go in a minute. She hated scaring little kids. She would have to work on controlling her temper at times.

Jake was surprised as Lima hugged him. People were always hugging him. Whyyyyy... was it some kind of ruse-? FOCUS!!!!!

"It's... fine..." Jake muttered. He'd stopped backing away by this point, and not just because he was in danger of tumbling backwards down the stairs.

"It really is..." he said again. "I just... I dunno... yeah..."

Bleh...

And he seemed to not like her hugging him. MERRR. She let go of him and said, "fine, be that way. I was only trying to make it up to you." Boys could be so annoying and problematic at times.

"You can escape now, if you want," she added looking at him pointedly.

RUN! RUN! Honestly he didn't know why he was running but he felt like it rather than skipping. Cam felt the breeze, it was November already and he needed to buy more jackets, sweaters, whatever. But the mission today was to run all over the castle and then run back down. Maybe he shouldn't have done that since he needed extra fat for hibernation and so he would sleep properly. That was when he saw her.

A girl right in front of him, and he was coming at her full speed. Why did this always have to happen? He put out his arms to warn her, by the way he positioned his arms, it looked like he wanted to HUG her.

NUUUU.

Lima shrieked when suddenly a boy was running into her like he wanted to hug her. Dang First Years. Causing problems. Her mood wasn't great with Jake not forgiving her, and she didn't need to add a heart attack to the list.

Jake's brow furrowed. "What?!" he asked, frustrated. WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH YOU?! "I didn't do anything wrong!" he cried out, confused. He'd acted normally, right?

But before he could say any more, Cameron was there. "Oh... hi..." he mumbled, kicking at the floor and not really paying attention to what was happening.

People were just... CONFUSING!!!!!

The impact hurt, a bit, but managed to keep himself in control as to not knock her down over to the floor. She seemed to be an older student, guessing that she was probably in her 5th or 6th year. "Sorry lady," he apologized and then noticed that something was wrong. With Jake being here and giving him some sort of a mumbling voice he wondered what happened and hoped he didn't make the girl's feelings any worse.

"Wut's wrong?" he asked her and then turned to look at Jake who was now kicking at the floor.

Yup, something was wrong.

She scowled as he looked at her like she was crazy. "I was only trying to apologize. And you seemed like you were trying to escape from me." HUFF!

She was not in a good mood. Especially after she was also almost knocked over. But at least the kid apologized. "It's okay," she told him. "And you can call me Lima."

Then he asked her what was wrong. She frowned and said, "me and Jake aren't really getting along."

"Well I wasn't trying to escape!" Jake fretted. Ack! Why do it?! "What did you want me to do?!"

Pfffffffft... Jake actually stomped his foot at that.

"We were getting along fine, I thought," Jake mumbled, his voice cracking slightly. "Hi, Cameron..." he added, looking at his best friend before eyeing the floor again.

These two Huffies were not getting along and he would've left the situation by themselves if he wasn't feeling... nice today. Cam was a bit surprised after hearing what her name was, Lima? It was like, a pretty awesome name and was extremely jealous of her. Lima. Lima bean. He soon became hungry and started to rub his stomach with his hands. He wanted lima beans now, they tasted really good.

"So..." he paused and thought what he was going to say. Was he going to go all pacifist on them? Oh yes, he was! "Why not we all take a DEEEEEP breath. Heee... huuuh.. heeee.. huuuuh... And inhale the fresh air!" he said and then went down on the floor, criss-cross applesauce. "Now relax and let out aaalll of your anger. Count to 10 in your head. Now Jake... Lima, tell me why you're fighting?"

Weird? No. Insane? Yes. An insane Dr. Phil right now. He continued to do deeep breaths and didn't look at them at all.

She just shook her head. She had had about enough of this. "Oh okay, um start over all over again?" she offered hopefully.

Then the new boy started acting like a psychiatrist or something. She raised her brows at him and said, "um, I got annoyed at him for being a trouble maker. Then I tried to apologize and he didn't seem to like it." She frowned and wondered why this kid was acting like that.

Evangeline was in full 007 mode. Dark hair pulled into a ponytail so it wouldn't mess with her vision, she was sneakily walking down the corridor, trying to be as quiet as she possibly could. Her wand was tightly gripped on her hand, as it had been since she left the classroom. Noone would catch it unaware.

Nuh huh.

Aha! She smiled when she saw Vannie walking a tad infront of her, the perfect opportunity to attack. She only hoped she'd do it right and not explode the girl or something. Hmmm. Right. Pointing her wand the Huffie girl, she firmly, but quietly, said the incantation for the Jelly-Legs Jinx before going to hide in the threshold of a nearby door.

MWAHAAH!

As Vanessa was walking down the corridor, she couldn't help but think that somebody was following her. It was too quiet, but she had glanced behind her, and there was definetly nobody there. Turning around once more, she gave the corridor another check, but not without mumbling something and casting the sheild charm. She had to be careful, and she'd be doing that along since she'd left the classroom.

That was when she noticed someones robes flutter as they moved through a threshold of a door. So somebody was there! "Heelllo?" She called, whilst making her way towards the door.

Jake frowned to himself and nodded. Strange person.

Reaching down, Jake pulled Cameron up so he was standing on his feet. "Tis my best friend, Cameron," Jake explained, also eyeing his friend as he usually did... pitying. "We think something happened to him in the Potion's lab on his first night..."

Jake turned to see the first signs of the DADA wizard's tag, and abruptly stepped so he was out of firing range, his wand ready in case of a stray spell.

Paris couldn't believe this game. She had to hand it to the crazy old coot. this was a pretty cool game. She was creeping down the corridors with her wand drawn and at the ready to hit anything, red, blue or yellow she saw. She ducked behind a suit of armor when she saw Jake. She hated to do this, but she had. She directed a weak tripping jinx at him. She didn't want to hurt him or cause him to hurt himself.
