Qaz came around the corner and stopped dead in her tracks. 'What the.....ice skating. Right on!' Oh, I have to get in on this, she thought. She pulled out her wand and with a flourish 'Accio, Ice Skates!' As she waited a few moments for her skates to arrive from under her bed, she watched the others with glee. As soon as her skates arrived, she hurried and put them on. She walked out on the point of her blades and then began to skate around. All those winters in Minnesota were good for something. This was so much fun! |
Then Herminny remembered what a tear out of Moaning Myrtlyle meant and she knew she was in trouble. |
SMACK! Vindictus found himself once again face-first on the ice. "YOU'RE WHAT?" he hollered after hearing Herminny's confession. |
Qaz didn't know what the Professor was yelling about, but she saw him take a spill, face first. Ouch! That's got to hurt, so she skated over to see if she could help. 'Um, Professor, do you need some help?' she asked, as she skated backwards in a circle around him. |
There was no whew to go, both Moaning Myrtle and Vindicts were upset with her now and she knew she was in for it no matter what happened next from all this. |
Somehow Vindictus got to his feet and slid over to where Herminny had been hiding. CLACKETY CLACK! Too bad he crashed into the suit of armor. "You! Apologize to Myrtle, immediately!" |
She couldn't believe what she was looking at. Professor Vindictus falling all over himself and then a Gryffindor getting beat up by a ghost!! Paris fell over again and didn't care as she rocked with tears of laughter. |

"You -- you're here to spy on him?" She gasped loudly and swooshed off the girl's head, hovering in the corridor between the professor and the girl. "You have a crussssssh on himmm, yes you doooooo! Herminny's in loveeeee with a professsssor!!!!!" Myrtle was practically singing with glee - cue the earplugs, folks. "No no, no need to apologize," she waved off Vindictus with a titter. "People do craaazy things when they're in looooove." |

Wow.... Professor V was cool and all, but having a crush on him? Must be a girl thing... "Well Myrtle, she may be in my house, but I don't like girls who make other girls cry." He said pointedly, "It's not nice, it's not lady like, it's not Gryffindor." He slid carefully across the ice toward the ghost. "I much prefer ladies with manners, and are inquisitive like yourself, and have the courage to make themselves known like yourself, not go hiding behind suits of armour." He wondered if he wasn't laying it on thick. Besides, Myrtle seemed unconcerned at this point, she was more concerned with the idea that Herminny had a crush on Professor V. which was... well... creepy? |

Vindictus couldn't hear any of it - his ears were ringing thanks to the clanking of the armor. "WHAT? MYRTLE IS NICE AND PEEVES IS MY FRIEND!" he shouted. |
Qaz kept an eye on the commotion, but she was having too much fun skating to get involved. All they needed, now, was a little music. Skating was always more fun with music. Everything was more fun with music. |
With tears in her eyes, from laughter, Liz tries to keep quiet, just listening to everyone. Turning back around, Liz glides off, thankful her shoes are sliding nicely. Watching Qaz glide past, Liz looks at her feet What in Merlin's name are those? she wonders. Those look fun! |

"Ice isn't daaangerous," Myrtle tutted, waving a ghosty hand at her. "Don't be silly. That's a terrible excuse for your crush. It's okay, older men are still handsome!" Poor dear. She was soooo in denial. Quote:

This was a mess of....mess and OHHHHHHH she was in the middle of it! Where was Agie? She needed to be here too! OH she could dye hair as well but then the Fat Friar told her...the girlie with the PINK shoes to help Bunbunz. Not a problem. She used her bum to scoot across the ice, slipping and sliding towards Bunz. "YO Professor Bunz," she said with excitement. "You need some help? We can lean on each other if you want?" She didn't have the best of shoes to use on the ice and frankly, she needed to take them off but the ice was...coollllddddd. |

Herminny thought, whose gonna stop me, I better hurry if I want to get to the Ravenclaw table in time she thought as she skated to the end of the corridor and proceeded to rush her way to the Great Hall. |
"Umm, what about the ice..." she wonders aloud. Gliding toward the stairs, she grabs the wall, and walks the rest of the way carefully. And starts heading down to the great hall. |
Paris squeaks and takes off down the corridor toward the Great Hall. |
Qaz didn't know what they were talking about. She could either follow or continue skating. Curiosity got the better of her, so she took off her skates, slipped them into her bag (after drying them off), slipped into her Crocs and followed the pack. |
"If the library was on the seventh floor, we would just levitate the pogrebin out the window," Juniper told Clifford matter-of-factly as the stairs came to the third floor corridor. Juniper led the way down the corridor, her eyes on the pogrebin that she still levitated slightly in front of them. And if the library was on the seventh floor, Juniper knew of many Ravenclaws who would be quite happy, herself excluded. Juniper's eyes were still focused on the pogrebin when she suddenly felt her feet slipping from under her, and she landed on her behind. The pogrebin bounced up and down in the air until she managed to steady her wand and look down at the floor. Was that... ice--in a corridor? |
Just levitate them out of the window? Wow.. how come he hadn't thought of that!? Couldn't they just ... do that right now? It sounded like a darn good plan. Hehe. Although Juniper was in charge of keeping the pogrebin afloat, Clifford also had his wand pointing at it. Yup, just in case things turned nasty and the evil creature managed to escape or something. It was just a safety precaution! ... it was that safety precaution however, that meant the sixth year couldn't catch poor Juniper when she slipped and fell right on her backside. OUCH! "What the...?" Slipping and sliding all over the place, Clifford tried to grab a hold of the wall in order to stay upright. He didn't want a great big bruise on his butt thank you very much. "Uhhhhhm.. here," he started, offering Juniper a hand. Hmm. Or maybe it'd be easier if she sli down the corridor on her bum? |
Juniper reddened slightly as she struggled first to her knees and then to her feet. Okay. She could tread this ice. It was not as if it were thin and floating on water. See? She could stand on the ice. Now she just had to keep her balance while they walked to the other end of the corridor. And also, she had to keep the pogrebin steadily levitated. "Let's go," Juniper said, pulling a smile to her face. Arms held out to the sides for maximum balance support and wand pointed upward to keep the pogrebin in the air, Juniper led the way across the ice to the next set of stairs. |
Jillian went up to the Third floor corridor, grinning, a few papers in her hands. She posted up one of the papers in the hallway: Quote:

"As for the ghosts... They've always been pretty mysterious. I wonder what they're thinking," he mused. |
