And Melanie wanted revenge even though she knew she'd probably never be able to get it. Melanie's eyes grew wide and she blinked in surprise at what he told her next. "You mean- You mean to tell me a perfectly healthy boy just happened to drop dead?" she asked incredulously. The thought of Set dead still brought water to her eyes and Melanie felt the smallest of tears prick up in the corners of her eyes as she felt that annoying burning sensation in the back of her throat, but she quickly blinked them away, not wanting to start crying in front of him. The first year shot him daggers. "Knock it off will you? I'm- I'm just curious." Melanie, defended herself, stuttering slightly. |
Reese wandered into the corridor and looked around.Where was everyone?everybody must be hiding from her.Geeez.She walked over to a nearby window and looked across the lake.Maybe her friends were down there...somewhere. |
foul git?! he's a little... disturbed is all Quote:
Eyeing her as if she needed some help in the hearing department, Jake nodded slowly. "Yes," he said. "I am telling you that... As far as I know, nothing happened..." Seeing Melanie's eyes go suddenly bright, Jake understood what that meant and quickly took a step back, about ready to leave. "Don't start that," he mumbled. But at her next words, he became frustrated. "What do you mean 'knock it off'?! I'm not allowed to be annoyed by the fact that there's too many nosy people like you around who want to know what happened when he died?" he asked indignantly. "Sort your priorities out, Melanie! Your curiosity could drive someone round the bend," he added angrily, sure that this 'someone' was going to be him one day. |
Jack stumbled down the corridor, trying to stay away from the Huffies, he walked into someone by accident "M'bad" he mumbled |

"Seems so impossible. doesn't make sense that just nothing happened." Melanie said to herself. She nodded slowly at Jake listening carefully. "I can't help it." she stated stubbornly. She hadn't even wanted him to see the tears. They were embarrassing. Melanie felt the need to fight it out, but she obviously didn't. Jake was too worked up anyway and she didn't want a fight. Just answers... She felt a burning in the back of her throat yet again as he began to tell her off. Curiosity was one of her leading characteristics and it could be helpful at times and other times it annoyed the heck out of people. It was obvious what it was doing right now. "I'm sorry Jake." she said yet again. Trying to put herself in Jake's shoes she would have most likely told herself off, if that made any sense, which it probably didn't. "I'm not trying to get you all mad and stuff." she said solemnly. Melanie glanced sideways, catching a glimpse of Jack Moiser. At least he seemed distracted. Maybe he wouldn't even see them. It wasn't exactly the sort of conversation Melanie wanted to have with other people around... Although it didn't seem as if they were going to talk about anything like that anymore after what Jake had just said and personally Melanie wasn't to sure whether she wanted to. In fact she sort of felt the need to get out of there. |

How many times had he spoken to Melanie about her annoying behaviour so far this year? Too many times and- ... and he was starting to sound like Dominic. "Apology accepted," Jake nodded, looking in the direction Melanie was glancing, and seeing him. His hand flying up to gingerly touch his own bruised neck, Jake limped backwards. He didn't want to be here, not one bit. Casting one look at Melanie he muttered a quick "Bye," and set off down the corridor, trying to look as normal as possible when walking. He offered no explanation, he just left. |
He didn't get her? Well most people didn't anyway. Melanie was a very unique person and proud of it too so it truly didn't matter too much to her. She didn't understand Jake to much either and she wasn't too sure she wanted to. He sort of scared her when he was mad. On the good side she was forgiven... on the flip side she still knew he didn't like her. Ugh. Melanie did not want to deal with him. If he didn't like her he didn't like her and that was that. Case closed, Deal done, and anything else you can think of that signified finishing things. "Bye." Melanie aid blandly, glad the conversation was over even without hearing exactly what she wanted to, but regardless now Melanie doubted whether she even wanted to know that information anyway. she cocked her head slightly curious as she realized he was limping , but didn't ask any questions as that always seemed to get people mad at her... well only Jake really. Melanie walked off in the other direction, sighing to herself. |
Nathaniel was SO glad to be out of detention. He still had those dumb pig ears and the tail still but he'd get that fixed. That BunButt character was a hot mess. He couldn't stand her and wanted her to get fired. She is a nutter he thought to himself. He wandered up on the third floor for no reason. He was just glad to be out. He looked for anyone he knew and saw nobody. Maybe he'd go outside soon. Where was Mariel? he wondered. She'd probably be uber mad at him. For breaking rules. That little goody goody. He laughed to himself. |

First he wanted to eat her, then he licked her and he cried, then he wanted to bite her hand, and now he was holding his breath. Anyone actually watching the exchange between the fifth and first year was probably just as confused as she. Hopefully. "That's all right." she said, waving her hand, "I don't need anything in return. It's not like I don't have a lot of shampoo, or soap." she shrugged. She probably had more than one person could use in their lifetime actually. Chuckling, Evolette smirked. Maybe this kid wasn't so weird afterall! "My name is Evolette McKenna, and I don't like Dominic Denton either." she replied, smiling. |
It was quiet. And empty. The PERFECT equation for what he'd been itching to do for a long time. "Do you have your wands?" Vindictus whispered and kept his eyes wide open for any sign of Kraziman. |

Lyra tip-toed as quietly as she could which was not quiet at all. The click clack of the PINK high heeled Bunbunz shoes were making too much noise. But now she was in the castle. She could take her shoes off. As soon as the professor came to a halt, off came the shoes. Wands ready? What were they getting ready for? Oh well, she trusted the professor and took out her wand as she waited for...whatever was going to happen. "Yesssss," she whispered with her wand in hand. |
Having seen Professor Vindictus's mischevious look, when leaving class, Liz decided to follow. But at a distance, unsure if she would be in trouble for following, Liz watches at a distance. Making sure her hand is on her wand, that is. |
Celandine skidded to a stop, almost crashing into Anna after having skated after Professor Vindictus on her glisseo shoes. "I have my wand too." Celandine nodded. |
Copernicus had his wand... but he wasn't sure he'd use it yet. He gave Liz a skeptical look before raising his wand. Just in case. |
Vindictus turned around and put a finger up to his lips. "Shhhhhhh. To do what we're about to do, you have to be quiet, sneaky, resourceful, and of course know how to run and hide," he whispered. |
Seeing Copernicus give her the same look, that must be on her face, too. Liz shrugs silently. Nodding, at the professor, she steps quietly closer. |

Tobi was afraid to move. Sneaky? Okay, Quiet, not his strong suit. He chanced a nod, looking panickedly at Kettleburn for support. He couldn't let Professor V down! Not when he'd just gotten into his posse! |
