Third Floor Corridor On this floor you'll see ways to charm or heal your knee. |
Christine was so glad the feast was over. She was the first one out the door once everyone was dismissed. Christine planned to go to her common room to hide out, but now that Dominic new there was something going on, that place was no longer a safe haven. So Christine decied to walk aimlessly around the corridors, hoping that by the time she made her way to the common room it would be empty. She pulled out her wand and started twirling it between her fingers as if is was a baton. She started to think about everything that happened in the welcoming feast. Her face began to turn red from embarrassment. Christine shook her head to try to get those thoughts out of her mind. |
Nancy was hesitantly walking down the corridor on the third her blue eyes always darting around to see whether there was someone else apart from her. But she needed to know, she just needed to. On the other hand, she couldn't just walk into the Hospital Wing like that to see if that Trelawney woman was still at Hogwarts or not, could she? But she needed to know. Biting her lip Nancy stopped right outside the door which led inside the Hospital Wing contemplating over whether or not to open the door. Maybe she should just wait for someone to come out whom she could then ask about it. Still rather unsure what to do now Nancy just remained standing right were she was while playing with her lip. |
Lyra finally made it to the third floor and leaned against the wall. She hoped that Anna would get her letter soon enough and would meet her here. There was nothing like |

"Alright, Troublemaker, what do you have up your sleeve today?" Anna jokingly asked. She glanced around on the third floor, trying to figure out who or what had attracted Lyra's attention. There was the humpbacked witch statue, the armor gallery, and the trophy room, none of which looked too out of the ordinary. Then there was the hospital wing, which hopefully wasn't where they were headed. The only other option would be to visit the new Charms professor. Anna raised her eyebrows at Lyra, wondering what she could possibly want with him. |
"Oh, thank goodness you got my note, Banana," Lyra said as she pushed herself from the wall to meet her the rest of the way. She heard Anna ask that wonderful question as to what she had up her sleeves for today. A sly smile emerged with one raised eyebrow. That was her mischievous look and her favorite. "Well, I just so happen to be helping out with..." Lyra's eyes shifted from side to side for a moment making sure there was no one in the hallway to hear her or even close to her, "...the Quill and I thought it would be good to meet all the Professors and what better way to begin than now." |

Her eyes lit up when Lyra mentioned that she was one of the new journalists for The Quill. "No way! Me, too!" Anna half-whispered. Oh, this was going to be good. Realllly good. "Oh, and Cale, too! Oh, Lyra! I'm so excited now! I'm assuming you're ready to meet the new Charms professor?" |
Quote:
"Banana, you read my thoughts with the Charms professor," she began as she patted the girl on the shoulder. "But you must trust me with things. Sometimes you look as though I am going to burn the school down." Now that deserved a giggle and a half. "I love that look! "Come on, let's head over there while we have time." Lyra pulled Anna in the direction of the Professor's door. "Are you going to knock or shall I?" |
Quote:
"Thought so. I didn't figure the witch, trophy room, or armor gallery was what had you so excited." Anna turned in the direction of the new professor's office. She took a small sigh, remembering Professor Hawkins and how she'd mysteriously disappeared last school year. No use dwelling on sadness, though. She and Lyra had a professor to meet. Anna allowed Lyra to practically drag her over to the office door. "Well, go on," Anna said, waving her hand in the direction of the door. "Knock." |
Agie walked up the corridor and spotted Lyra and Anna Banana walking up the corridor. "Oi! What are you two doing running off without me!" She pouted playfully. |
Banana, Nikkers While Lyra was dragging Banana behind her, Agie popped up and with her other hand, she took a hold of Agie as well. "We are going to visit the new professor for Charms," she smiled then looked back at Agie. "We are...researching. and I was going to knock on the door." Boy that was exciting. |
Nikkers; Stacers. At the sound of Agie Brandywine's voice, Anna smiled and turned around. "Well, there you are! Have you even been to the Common Room yet?" Anna asked. She seriously doubted it, though. Agie wasn't really one to hang out in the Common Room too much. "By all means, come and join us. Lyra's got us heading into the Charms office to meet the new professor. You know, the one who fell at the Welcoming Feast?" Anna asked. Anna nodded when Lyra mentioned research. "Yup, we've got a lot to talk to this man about. Let's get a move on, girls," she said. Too bad Agie wasn't a Quill journalist either. |
All of a sudden, Agie was being dragged towards the charms professors office. "Wwaaaiiittttt! Why are we going there? Researching for what?" She asked with a confused look on her face. Then she snickered at Anna. "Weeeellll, I went to get the best bed before the feast, but haven't been back since." Agie giggled, the common room was over rated. She would visit there eventually. "This professor fell at the feast?" man, Agie was missing out on everything. |
Kait was wandering around the halls of the third floor, she seemed to of lost her quill, and she wished that she'd find it, she knew she probably wouldn't, but it was worth trying. |
Finding it difficult to sit in the common room alone, Chase ended up wandering around the castle. Heading around the corner to the third floor corridor he almost ran into a girl that was looking for someonething. "Alright/" he asked out and ran a hand through his hair that had escaped into his eyes. "Need help?" he asked looking on the floor where she was looking. |
Kait looked up and paused. "Sure," she said, taking his offer of help, "I'm looking for a quill I dropped around here somewhere." She continued to look around, scanning the corners quickly. |
Chase chuckled and bent over keeping his eyes to the foor scanning it. "When did you loose it?" he asked surprisinly happy that he had found someone to talk to. He looked up at her for a minute. "Im Chase MAtthews byt the way." |
"Sometime earlier today, though I'm not really sure," she said. She looked up when he introduced himself. "Oh, sorry, I should of said who I am, I'm Kaitlynn Hayman, but it's just Kait, " she said with a smile. |
Chase smirked and shook her hand. He went back to looking for it. "Is it a special quill or something?" he asked trying to get the hair out of his eye It always fell into his eyes when he had his head bent/ |
Kait shook her head and said, "No, not really, I just really don't like losing things, just one of those things that bug me." She looked for a few more minutes then asked, "How old are you?" |
Looking for the quill seemed pointless. He didnt see it any.. Wait.. His eys popped as he walked over to a quill sitting a few feet away and picked it up. "Is this yours?" he asked smiling and shrugged. "Saw it." She had asked how old he was. "O Im 15. What about you?" he wondereed why it mattered but didn t care none-the-less. |
Kait looked up and saw him holding a quill, she looked at it for a minute then said, "Yes, I think it is, thank you so much." She laughed silently then said, "I just turned sixteen in the summer," she paused for a minute then added, "I was going to ask what year you were in, but it wasn't what I ended up asking." |
Chase smiled at her question mix-up. "No worries it happens all the time. I mix up questions all the time. But so your a sixth year then?" he asked looking at her. "Im meerly a fifth year." he explained with a comical expression on his face. This was a first time he had met someone older. Although he was taller than her... |
"Yes, I may not look it because I'm so short though," she said, she was a couple inches shorter than her sister and she was 5'4", so most people were taller than her. "Are you enjoying the year so far?" she asked him. ooc. I'm off for the night |
Chase nodded and leaned against a wall because it looked like it ws chat time. "Aw but being short is fun. My best friend is a girl.. yes i kno.. and she was short and i used to tell her its not called short its called fun sized." he said playfully. "I am enjoying Hogwarts so far, how about you?" oc: night |
