"Hey, Captain," Mariel said, looking appraisingly at the girl for any sign of who she might be supporting. "Are you cheering for Slytherin? Juniper and I are trying to think up some kind of cheer to show everyone that Ravenclaw has the best school spirit." And they obviously were since all the recent games were packed with Claws and few of the other houses.

Juniper scratched her head and nodded at the girl's question. Of course she liked Slytherin. Why else would she be cheering for them? And, after all, green was the color of nature. There was no better reason to cheer for Slytherin than the color of their uniforms. "Gooo Slytherin!" Juniper yelled to demonstrate to Mariel that she was cheering for them.

But... make up a cheer? Juniper was not the creative type, but there was no harm in giving it a try. In fact, anything would be more interesting than repetitively yelling 'Go Slytherin'. As the fourth year began to consider possible cheers, she finally noticed her captain. "Oh! Hello, Willow," she said politely.

And then the perfect cheer came to her.

"Slytherin, Slytherin! We're cheering for Slytherin! Their color, GREEN! is that of the world, their mascot, SNAKES! are all over the world! Snakes can't walk, but slithering their fine! Go Slytherin! You can fly aaaall the time!"

Beaming, Juniper shouted shouted the cheer she had invented, waving a little green flag made from a leaf she had found in her pocket in the air. It did not matter that snakes, as in the animal, could not fly. Slytherin snakes could! And it took a Ravenclaw to think about legless snakes like the ones they had studied in Care of magical creatures once. Oh, the ideas that went through Juniper's mind. Hufflepuff's apparent success could not sway her. She would support Slytherin until the end! Exclamation point!

Chris and the rest of the crowd went wild as Hufflepuff scored two more goals!

Come on Lets go Hufflepuff Whooooooo!

"Let's practice, but we need more people," Copernicus told Tobi with all seriousness. If they were going to do this, it would be right and very logical and methodical and perfect. Robert smiled and gave a slight shrug, "Just checking. Mari doesn't have a clue she only comes to see me play but doesn't know what's going on." Which...kind of bummed him but he hadn't had time to teach her anything yet. Maybe he would later. He watched the game with a grin and jumped up wihen the Huffie's caught the snitch. "YESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!" Looking down at Kayla he smiled, "You guys are right now."

Robert followed her gaze until he landed on Tobi with, his eyes widened, bright red hair. "What happened to him?" Lyra's words though answered his question and he doubled over laughing, "Wh...why???" Poor kid. Hearing almost a threat behind her words he shook his head and moved closer to Kayla holding out his hands, "Oh, no you don't!"

.... And then Anna brought him back to earth. "Umm..." what had he even been DOING??? Oh. "Right. The bet." Plymouth turned back around to stare at Cela for a moment. He had to shake his head to get rid of the crazy urges to go join her. "Now we shake on it." Plymouth reached for her hand to shake on it. "Now, excuse me."


Plymouth cleared his throat, "GOOOOOOOO SLYTHERINNNNNNNNN! IF YOU WIN, I WIN, AND THAT IS GOOD FOR ME!!!"


Plymouth handed the green toilet paper to Anna.



"Will you wrap me in this?"

Copernicus snorted. He actually heard himself make a little grunty noise of laughter, and then he pressed his hand to his face, his shoulders shaking. "Celandine Toussaint! You... are cheering on both teams too!" State the obvious, Captain PiggyNoise. Sigh.

"Come do the wave with us, and then we'll... do your cheer with you," he offered, although there was no way he's be able to learn it all. And UGH, why did she have to manage to make looking ridiculous so cute?

"Brilliant!" Copernicus gave her a sideways hug, making sure there was plenty of fabric between them so he didn't shock her. "Rian, you're a good sport. Stay with us so we can do it again with more people?"

Copernicus offered Avalon his elbow for a nice shake. Obviously his hands were out. "Excellent, mate. Shall we try it again in a bit?"

When had Quidditch turned so. . . dangerous? Sure Willow had already known that since forever, but was it just her or the game had just turned brutally dangerous? It couldn't be just her, could it? She looked around, and then frowned. Well, everyone seemed to be pretty excited over the Quidditch game, if she were being honest with herself.

Clearly, they were blind. Or insane. Or both.

Or was it her then? Maybe Quidditch was looking ridiculously violent for her only. It was very obvious that Willow Kovac was beginning to lose her mind.

The fifth year tore her forest green eyes from the violent match developing before her, and scanned the stands. Which turned out to be a bad idea. Anna Greingoth's Hufflepuff banner pretty much forced to focus on the match once more.

The snitch was. . . hovering over Dominic's head. And the seekers had yet to noticed that.

When they did notice it, though. . . they would no doubt go for it. And for his head, of course, since it would basically be on their way.

Her father had been right all along; Quidditch WAS dangerous.

And she couldn't even see Eleanor! What if she had gotten hurt?

"Um, hello," said Willow distractedly, replying to Mariel's greeting. "Slytherin?" Was she rooting for Slytherin? Willow didn't know. She didn't know who she was rooting for, actually, which was rather infuariating. Especially if she thought about the reasons why she didn't know. "Uh, I don't think so." Awkwardly, she answered. "But I'm not rooting for Hufflepuff either." Best to clear that up before. . . whatever. "I guess I am, er, Switzerland?" Right? "Hi, Juniper." Mused Willow lowly, without taking her eyes off the pitch.

Rian laughed at the hug, surprised. Her wave hadn't been that great at all...but Nic seemed...pumped. Excited. Maybe he was like this at all Quidditch games, maybe not, but it was a side of him Rian had never seen.

"Sure I'll stay!" she told him, grinning. It wasn't like she had anything better to do, anyway. She looked around for anyone else to join. She spotted Anna and Plymouth...and Plymouth appeared to be almost drooling over Cela. Rian snorted quietly and spread her feet out a little, wanting a more stable foundation if she was going to do the jumping thing again.

AAAAAAAAAHHHH! Giant walking talking Sunflower!! OMG RUNAWAAAAAAY! OH it's just Cela. Okay.

Tobi calmed down immediately when he realised his sorta sister was oddly decked out as a flower. Whatever worked. If she wanted to scare the pants off everyone, that was cool, but he didn't see how it was house spirity...

After all, he might be choosing to do this for a living and she might be there with him when he did...so she should at least learn the basics about the sport.

She spotted him from a bit of a distance, which was easy considering his height. She called to him over the crowd, waving a bit so he would see her. " Robert!" She said his name once, standing on her toes a bit to yell so he could hear her. If she had to sit this game by herself, she was going to be slightly irate. Especially since she could see that he was sitting with a certain Hufflepuff Prefect. Feeling an odd flare of jealousy, even though she knew where Kayla stood with other guys, Mari called out to Robert again, hoping he would see her.

Anna watched Plymouth until it was clear he'd been distracted by someone else. Anna turned to see who'd captured his attention. Oh, Cela Toussaint, his girlfriend. Anna smiled looked back and forth between Plymouth and Cela and smiled softly, then turned back to the game to let the two of them have their little moment.

"Huf-fle-puff! Huf-fle-puff! Huf-fle-puff!"

By the time her little cheer was done, Plymouth was back turned around and talking to her. Something about toilet paper again. "What...exactly...do you win, Plymmy?" Anna asked, wondering now what he was going to get if Slytherin did, in fact, win. "I guess I'll have to start thinking about what I'd like to win, too, though." She supposed candy would nice. Ohh, or house points...if they were ever able to be swapped.

Anna blinked when Plymouth asked her to wrap him in toilet paper. This was...a new experience. She laughed and put her banner down for a bit while she took the toilet paper from him. Around and around Anna went, wrapping the green toilet paper all around Plymouth. She spun around and around herself as she unrolled the toilet paper. Soon, Plymouth would be completely mummied inside the toilet paper. When she was done, Anna held up the empty, brown piece, all that was left of the once green toilet paper roll. Smiling, she put one foot in front of the other, ready to step back and admire her handiwork. However...she couldn't move.

Uh oh.

"Erm, Plymmy, we have a problem," Anna said, looking over at him with an apologetic look. "I accidentally wrapped myself inside the toilet paper with you..."

"Come on Hufflepuff Lets go you can do this come on Hufflepuff!!!"

Chris was yelling a lot and was loosing his voice!

"Hi!" Celandine did another cartwheel and used her wand to shoot a mixture of golden and green sparks. Cela was all about applying the lessons she'd learned in class.

Cela heard Plymmy and waved at him before pulling a few of the golden petals off of her hood thingy and blowing them towards him.

"Clifford is a Quidditch God!" She yelled, cheerfully informing everyone and hoping that none of the players got distracted by all the cheering.

"Yeah!" The sonorous charm was still working perfectly and Cela punched the air in excitement, an infectious grin spilling over her face as she bounced and flounced and skipped all over the place, turning an eye on the progress of the game as she did so.

"Waaaave!" Cela grinned at Copernicus and, because Professor Pierce had shown her how, Cela cast the ribbon spell, "Risona!" The resulting ribbon, half gold and half green, curled to spell out

'WAVE!'

She moved over next to Copernicus to prepare for a wave, giving another holler as she did so.

"Professor Vindictus is an awesome and fair official and could show us all a thing or twoooooooo!"

Aaand back into her cheer.

"Why do you think, why?" She couldn't help but ask. "It is for our assignment with Professor Vindictus." Lyra paused for that DRAMATIC effect as her eyes looked up to Roberts with a smirky smile on her face. "I'm sure you could gain LOTS of House points for wearing BLUE hair." If she couldn't convince him, she would get him another way. It was only a moment of time before doing so.

"Oh we are? Yay go team" she said half heartedly. As much as she tried she couldn't get into the spirit of it, this was just not her thing apparently something she had in common with Mari obviously...now that would have to be a first. "So I guess that's why she is not here sitting with you?"

Kayla looked at Lyra and gave her a smile, "Well where else would I be? With the two most awesome people of the school right here" she gave her a wink and then laughed as she suggested dying Robert's hair. She put her hands on Robert's back and pushed him forward. "Oh you're not hiding behind me Robert" she laughed, "I can just see you with blue hair!"

It was then that Kayla heard Mari's voice calling out to Robert and she immediately dropped her hands from his back and took a step away from him. Oh great this was all she needed, she thought the girl didn't like watching quidditch.

Amanda was fully decked out in Slytherin colours for this occasion, wearing her new Slytherin robes, her face had a serpent painted on it and she even dyed her hair green and silver for the game. She may have looked like an idiot, but she had a lot of house pride and she was going to show it.

"Let's Go Slytherin!" She cheered from the stands proudly, she wanted to see how this game was played fully so she was ready for tryouts next term.

"Errrrm. Hi. You smell nice. You usually do, but I'm not usually this close, and now I can't run away, and you're really close and I'm probably going to keep babbling like this cause you're REAL pretty and close and toilet paper really looks pretty on you."

And... Plymouth "hehe'd" nervously. Oh boy. Oh boy oh boy. "Go.... Slytherin..."

Melanie felt the time go by in a frenzy and before she knew what was happening Hufflepuff was winning by even more and Melanie was squealing like the little girl she was.... and dancing? if you can call it that.

"Yay! We're winning! We're winning !" she sang happily swinging the stuffed badger around and dong some sorta dance that looked like some sorta irish gig mixed with a rain dance.

In other words it did not look pretty, but it wasn't like the first year cared... Not when she was this excited.

Two snitch grabs. 30 points and Huffies were winnnnnnning.

Melanie peeked over the edge of the stands down...down...down at the quidditch players as they landed.

"We should make up our own cheer, because Celandine is putting us to shame," he mock-whispered with a wink. "Now, Rian... you want to sit on my shoulders and act like a badger or something?" He cracked up at the idea.

And why in the WORLD was Plymouth sitting with Anna when his girlfriend was being so cute? And WHY WERE THEY WRAPPED TOGETHER in toilet paper? Cope leaned forward so Cela wouldn't notice what was going on.

Copernicus obediently started the wave again, jumping with his hands in the air. He was getting REALLY good height.

And then, because he promised, he started to shout. "Go Slytherin and Hufflepuff! One game...is never... YAY TEAMS!"

Robert looked behind him thinking he heard his name being called but couldn't see who it might have been. It had sounded almost like Mariska but...no she wouldn't have been here she didn't like the game. Hearing his name again though he turned around fully and spotted her standing on her toes and waving. His grin grew and he waved her over. Well this was a pleasant surprise.

He eyed Lyra wearly and shook his head, "Nope, nu uh, not a chance. You can find another test dummy because unless you play unfair you're not doing ANYTHING to my hair." He backed further toward Kayla with a weary grin not trusting Lyra at all. "Besides...if that were the case you should dye your hair yellow."

Rober nodded though he still didnt pull his eyes from Lyra when he felt Kayla pushing him toward Lyra. "Hey! What is this pick on Rob day?" Even though he sounded hurt his eyes were alight with humour and that same silly grin was on his face. Looking over his shoulder he searched for Mari knowing at least she would be on his side...hopefully.

Amanda suddenly thought of an idea that would make an awesome cheer for Slytherin, she stood up and took a breath. It was all or nothing now, she was determined to show her house pride no matter how much of an idiot it made her look.

"Slytherin! Slytherin! We are the mighty Slytherin!" She chanted loudly and waved her banner.

"Act like a badger?" Rian repeated, laughing as she got a mental image of herself curled up on Nic's shoulder, wearing black and white and ... it was just too funny. "What sound do badgers make?" she asked, looking perplexed. She could tell that Nic had just been kidding, but she was curious now. To the library, she thought with a chuckle.

Oh, the wave again. Rian took a deep breath and did her own wave. She was very, very pleased with herself when she actually landed on her feet, and didn't even feel like she lost her balance. That had to be a first.

Ahem. Rian didn't know this cheer...but she'd try anyways. Trying to imitate what Nic had said, she shouted, "Go Slytherin and Hufflepuff! One game is never enouuugh...erm...You all have mad skills and ... "YAAAAAAAAY!" she cheered, blushing bright red. At least she tried....

Cela giggled when Plymouth started yelling about Clifford and Vindictus too and she blew a kiss at him in response when he told her he liked her. She did a little.... petal dance too. Yeah with spirit fingers and spirit petals in green and gold and woooo!

"EVERYONE IS A WINNER BECAUSE YOU ARE ALL AMAZING AND HAVE MAAAAD SKILLZ!" Cela yelled, clapping her hands together and shooting another ribbon in the air.

Cela giggled at Copernicus and jumped excitedly, her jaw dropping as she saw the carnage on the pitch.


"DOM-IN-ICK DENTON IS MADE OF STEEL AND HE WILL GET UP AND BE AWESOME FOR REAAAALZ!"

Cela paused and added, to be fair,

"AND THAT SLYTHERIN GIRL THAT I DON'T KNOW IS PRETTY COOL TOO I GUESS!"

She was so busy watching the action on the field that she didn't notice the green toilet paper mummification malfunction happening between Plym and Anna.

Anna was slightly aware of Plymouth talking to someone else besides her, but honestly, she couldn't really concentrate on who that was or what Plymouth was saying to them. Anna winced and pushed against the toilet paper in an effort to break out of the mummified mess she was in. Nothing. Not even the slightest bit of toilet paper seemed to budge.

This. Was. Embarrassing.

"I...huh?" Anna asked, becoming aware once again that Plymouth was talking---this time her. "Oh. Yeah. Thanks. You, erm...have really nice hair. It's all slick and styish. I've never seen it this close before, of course." Anna couldn't help but giggle at the way Plymouth complimented her, especially the way he said she looked pretty in toilet paper. That was certainly a compliment she was hearing for the first time. Maybe she should compliment him, too. You know...in an effort to make their TP experience a bit more bearable. "You, erm, look handsome in green, Plymmy. Slytherin would be proud to have you support them."

"So, erm, what are we supposed to do now?" she asked, turning her head towards him. Oops. Bad idea. Anna's face didn't need to be so close to Plymouth's. Danger Zone alert! "I can't reach my banner, Plymmy. If I count to three, do you think you can bend down at the same time I do, so I can reach it? Why don't you do the countdown?" she asked.

Mariska smiled when Robert finally noticed her. However, she ignored Kayla figuring that she was going to just...take the high road today.
