At one end of the stadium is a massive gate that leads to the team locker rooms, but at the very end of the corridor are two doors. One is marked 'Equipment' while the other has an old sign barely hanging onto it which reads 'Locker Room.' It is through this door that you find a spare locker room which hasn't been used in years. Old wooden lockers with peeling magenta paint line one grubby wall. The floor is dusty and is speckled with magenta paint flecks. A straight wooden bench is fixiated to the floor but looks a bit splintery. Upon closer examination, of the room you notice that players of years past have left their marks on the room. On the bench you notice the word "Chudley Cannons Rule" etched in large letters with the initials R.B.W. below it. Just beware of the spiders and if you hear a noise, it might be a stray goat seeking shelter from the elements.

A new sign looks out of place on the old door which sits slightly ajar.

INTERMEDIATE FLYING

NO FIRST YEARS ALLOWED

Come on in and wait for Professor Vindictus to arrive. If you see a first year enter this room and are wearing a DADA icon, you have permission to use a Bat Bogey Hex on them.

Paris made her way down the slope of the pitch toward the spare locker room for the flying lesson. She made it to the door a little out of breath and she had to giggle at the sign on the door as she walked in.

Mariel walked quickly down to the pitch, excited for flying class. She hadn't been on a broom since tryouts and couldn't wait to get up in the air again. The young Ravenclaw slowed to a brisk walk as she approached the locker room. As she entered, she noticed that she was one of the first ones to arrive. No sign of Vindictus yet. Mariel gave a polite smile to the Slytherin girl already there as she waited for the professor to arrive and class to begin.

Cale walked down to the spare locker room, practically bouncing with excitement. Flying was always one of his best classes, not only because there was hardly any thinking involved in it for him, but Vindictus was just plain old awesome as well. He looked around and noticed that he was one of the first few people there--interesting. Usually flying had a bigger turn out than this. Smiling happily and waving to Paris and that one Ravvie girl Mariel he had meet in class that one day, he waited for Vindictus to show up so the lesson would be underway.

She saw the claws badge and wondered if she could hex her, but she didn't want to get into trouble for doing that in someone else's classroom.

She waved at Cale as he walked in.

Nancy cheerfully walked down to the spare locker room where their first flying lesson was about to talk place. Finally, flying again! But there was probably going to be a lot of extra flying soon due to all the Quidditch practice which she was going to participate in since she'd gotten on the team! Huzzah!! Whistling to herself the third year stopped at the old door to read the sign which must have been put up rather recently since she'd never seen it before. Nancy giggled at that while walking into locker room were her blue eyes immediately fell on one of her best friends, Mariel, whom she waved at with a huge beam on her face.

Qaz entered the spare locker room..and noticed DADA badges. Good thing that she was safe in here.

Reese was sooooo excited about the flying class.It was one of the very few classes she was actually good at.She entered the spare locker room and looked around.Uhhhhh-Where was everyone?She must be early.Well,it's better being early than late.You don't get points taken off for being early.

Reese walked over to the benches and then noticed they didn't look comfortable.Nevermind.She would just stand up.

Lyra made her way into the the spare locker room and waited for class to begin. Her eyes however connected with a sign that Professor Vindictus had hanging about first years that entered into the classroom. A sly smirky look crossed her lips as that would be very interesting and she was ready for action, especially of that little Jack showed up. It would be her chance to get him back.

Humming some randome tune she'd heard back in the summer, Willow happily stepped inside the Spare locker room for the first Flying lesson of the term, not paying any kind of attention to the people that was already inside.

Flicking one strand of lose, dark hair to the back with one swift movement of her hand, the fifth year waited for the professor to arrive.

Vindictus ripped the new sign off the door and tore it into a thousand pieces. "Welcome to Intermediate Flying. I sure hope you brought your own broomsticks because the school ones are in need of a good cleaning after the first years mucked up the handle with their sticky hands," he said as he swooped into the room.

"Before we go outside, its time for some refreshers. What is the proper hand placement on a broom for left and right handed fliers?"

Tobi grinned like a mad fool. Flying! The only time he was NOT clumsy. Oh Boy Oh Boy Oh Boy!

With a pair of Goggles strapped to his head his curly blond hair sticking out at odd angles, and his cherished broom by his side, Tobi bounced like a bouncy ball (ON ESPRESSO!)

He waved at the people he knew, and there were lots of them Willow from CoMC, Paris from EVERYWHERE, Cale from his house, Lyra from DADA.

"Um, on your broomstick of course?" Tobi answered the professor

Cale raised his hand, wrinkling his eyebrows. Better to guess than just sit here doing nothing. He was pretty sure he knew the answer, but he had never really paid attention to his hand position. He just kind of...did it. "Erm, if you're right handed, shouldn't your right hand go in front of your left hand when you're gripping your broom? And if you're left handed, your left hand would go in front of your right hand," he explained.

Why, of course she'd brought her own broom, she certainly wasn't about to fly any other broomstick than her own, after all. Duh. Nancy snickered slightly at the Gryffindor's answer to Professor Vindictus' question before raising her hand herself and saying, "Uhm...well, if you're a right handed flier then your right hand should be in front of your left hand on the broomstick of course-" She gave the Gryffindor a slightly amused look before adding, "and, well, if you're a left handed flier then it's the other way round."

She look at Professor Vindictus as he gave Cale permission to hit Tobi with a broom. What was going on around here. Were they turning into a military state and they could go around hitting someone who was breaking a rule.

Cale blinked. Was Vindictus serious? He didn't want to whack Tobi in the head! How inhumane! But then again, he was a professor, and Cale was a prefect, and Prefect's couldn't exactly go disobeying them. There was no right answer here. Gah!

So, Cale just reached over and gave him a very small smack on his head. Not enough to cause damage or knock him unconscious or anything--Cale didn't think he had it in him to do that. He didn't want to hit him hard, just enough so Vindictus would be satisifed with his punishment for what Cale assumed was that answer Tobi had given earlier. Plus, using a BROOM would just be too mean. So he chose to use his hand. "Sorry dude," he added with a small smile, trying to let him know he was just following Vindictus' orders. And, he really wanted points.

Tobi felt the smack on the back of his head. It didn't hurt as much as scare him. (it might not have if he had been listening to what Professor V had been saying.)

He jumped a half foot in the air, yelping.

"Anna's the nicer Prefect." he muttered.

"So let's make that two points for your answer Cale since you clearly can't follow a simple instruction," Vindictus said and shook his head. "Okay, I know that all of you know how to fly, so lets talk some basic common sense. Why should you fly with your mouth closed and goggles covering your eyes?"
