End of term? Wowza, that came around FAST.

Truth be told, Hugo was pretty miserable. He needed hugs, and lots of 'em. Plus, he'd be dallying along to the Huffie table to give Lima a tearful farewell before the end of the day. Actually, he'd leave that til the train. That way, he wouldn't tear up in the middle of the Great Hall, where prying eyes were waiting to soak up any unatural gossip. Nyuh. Boys crying, he was sure, was not a particularly attractive sight to the female eye, except Evolette. For some reason she found it cute, which was usually why, in a desperate situation, he got all watery eyed. This led to forgiveness; hurrah!

...so where was the girl?! Hugo's emerald eyes scanned the crowd, picking out any pretty brunette who looked vaguely like his best friend. Nope. Ah yes - there she was! Chattering away to Lima's ex who, due to word along the grapevine, was a complete idiot. He could probably think of worse words to describe him (merely because he was Lima's old boyfriend), but he desperately kept his thoughts pure. Pure thoughts, pure actions, pure speech! - that was what his mother had taught him.

Shana smiled,as got another chicken wing,they were soooo nice.Ermm... she got her bag and looked inside.She pulled out the first pair that came into her hands.Red..For griffindor.She put them back and pulled out the second pair that came into her hand.Yellow..For Hufflepuff.She pushed the two pairs she'd already shown Mel to the bottom of the bag and pulled out the third pair.and blue for ravenclaw.she pushed them to the bottom of the bag and put her bag on the floor.and then green...for slytherin.she pointed to the pair of shoes that she was currently wearing and beamed.She poured herself another glass of pumpkin juice and took a sip from her cup.I could so live on Chicken wings and pumpkin juice,they're just soo nice.she beamed offering Mel some more pumpkin juice.

"OoOo They're cool." Melanie commented politely, nodding. "I like the yellow ones best." she said with a wide grin in their direction.

"I could probably live on chocolate and orange juice." Melanie said, grinning. Suddenly a wild thought hit her. "We should have a contest." she suggested, a mischievous glint in her eyes. "It'll be fun."

Shana beamed.Want them ? she reached in her bag and pulled out the yellow high tops and placed them on Mel's lap.She smirked as Mel mentioned having a compotion.What kind of compotion ? she raised one of her eyebrows and smirked.

"Really?!" she asked, smiling crazily. "Thank yooou." she sqealed happily hugging Shana for the second time that day. Now she'd have something to remind her of hogwarts when she wasn't there and her house...and Shana all in one. "I love them...I wish I had something to give you." she said, glancing down a her feet.

"An eating contest." Melanie told her her mischevious smile widening dramatically.

Shana beamed.Its my pleasure.Noo.Noo.You dont have to give me anything,I've got a ton of those.It doesn't matter.She smiled returning Mel's hug.She smiked,she was in a rather hungry mood,so it should be fun.Okay,Eat until your stuffed,rules,You can't be sick,you have to eat the whole of the item thats edible before you start the next one,and make sure you leave some food for other people,Anymore Rules to add ? she smirked.

Kevin sat at the house table and sighed he wanted to chat to some of his mates

Ruby stood at the doors of the great hall and sighed she would be going home soon and she didn't want to, she had grown to like it here and had made some great friends.

She made her way to an empty seat and sat down and smiled.

For the second to last time - that was a weird thing to say.

Miles sat at the Slytherin table feeling kind of lonely. He wasn't normally lonely, but at the end of term feast, it seemed to be the loneliest part of the term. Meh. He sat at the table and grabbed a few potatoes and some chicken. Sunday roast, his favourite. Miles thought about going over to the Huffie table, but the food was so good here! And plus, he didn't need to pause his eating to talk either. Hehe.

"You look lonely," Vanessa commented, with a soft smile as she sat down next to her boyfriend, at the end of term feast. Their penultimate one. Next years would be their last one, and then they'd be gone. Not coming back to Hogwarts. "Where is everyone." She sighed, not really speaking it towards Miles. This feast seemed so lonely, probably because one of her closest friends was leaving.
She smiled at Miles. He looked like he was enjoying his food. Typical Miles. "Terms over," She spoke, stating the fact, like he wouldn't already know. They were going home tomorrow. "i don't want to go home."

Aha.

Walking quietly behind him, Evolette stood on her tip toes, reaching both hands up, and placing them infront of Hugo's eyes. "Guess who." she demanded. It was quite obvious that he would KNOW who, but where was the fun in that?"

"Noooo." Miles lied with his mouth full, he then stopped himself before any food left his mouth. Ewwwy. Shudder. "I'm just fine, sitting here alone, with chicken." He said before swallowing his food and having a big gulp of butterbeer. Miles sighed, hoping she got that he was lying and he felt ALL ALONE! Sniffle.

"I no no. Maybe the Slythie table's not good enough for them?" Miles snorted as he cut up some potatoes. "To be honest, I'm just fine here, supporting my house and all that." He wrinkled his nose and continued to cut his food up into little pieces. He didn't need to, but it took his mind off being here on his own. "Me either. But at least we have more term, some people aren't that lucky." Miles was talking of Lima, of course. Siiiiigh. He would miss her.

Lucy shrugged. "I guess we'll never know." She said. "So you like swimming?" Lucy asked taking a bite out of her tart. "Cause I have a lake out by my house. We could go swimming in there."

Vanessa smiled at him, he could be so cute sometimes. "You don't have to pretend you're not lonely," She nodded, grinning a little. But she knew that he probably wanted all his friends around him now, but her being there was helping right? Surely he couldn't be that alone with her sat next to him.

"The slythie tables good enough for me." She commented, smiling at him, knowing that it would mean something to him. "It's good that your supporting you're house." She nodded, it was important, and he totally owned at supporting his house, especially with that green shirt he had. "Yeah....but it'll be our last one...and there we're gone. It in the big wide world," She frowned a little, reflecting on some of the things Hugo had told her. Would they last outside of Hogwarts. "We need to make next year awesome. A time to remember. But we've got to be adults."

"Thanks Shana." Melanie said happily, beaming. She'd find something to send her over the summer though...surprise her.

"Naah those sound good to me." Melanie replied, looking confident. Melanie glanced around the table trying to find something she could eat a lot of... Chocolate wasn't out yet. it wasn't nearly desert time. Huff. She'd have to settle foooor pizza then because Hogwarts probably has more class than to put two minute microwave Hot pockets out on the table. Melanie pulled a cheese pizza out in front of her, taking a nervous gulp. That looked like one BIG pizza. "I think I'll have pizza." Melanie informed Shana, giving her a small smile. "How bout you?" she asked, knowing the answer already.

Chicken Wings. No doubt.

"Actually I really don't know how to swim cause I don't have any sort of body of water near my hous.e I went out to the lake cause I really love the great outdoors and I was practically drawn to the Hogwarts lake is the most beautiful place I have ever seen in my life. I can't wait to see the lake at you're at you're house but the only way I'll actually take a dip in the lake is if you would teach me how to swim cause I honestly don't know how"

"No problem. I taught myself to swim." Lucy said smiling. It would fun try to teach a friend how to swim. "We can use the bubble head charm. There are some pretty intersting things at the bottom of the lake. Like this old ship. The lakes pretty big, by the the way." She added.

"Cool, I would love to see something like that, and I can't wait to show you around the muggle world of electronics, that is the one thing I have missed coming to Hogwarts, I was so shocked to find out wizards don't use electronics".

"The wizarding world is a little old school." Lucy said laughing. So do you like to read? My favorite book is Blue is for Nightmares." Lucy said. She waved her wand and a book came out of thin air. The cover was a dark blue with a blue candle on it. It curly letters it read, "Blue Is For Nightmares.

"Maybe it was a bad idea to do that handstand,"Reese said as she picked up some bread off the plate in front of her. "Being dizzy during the end feast isn't-errrrrm-good." She nodded and then took a bite of her bread.Carbs.They are so bad for your body.She didn't want to gain any weight during summer.She might not be able to fit in her bikini.That would be horrible.After thinking about all that,she sat her bread down then picked up some strawberries.That was better for you,riiiiight?Right.

Reese sighed."I do hope everything will be okay,"she said. "I don't want to have to runaway."She whispered the last part,hoping that Whitney didn't hear that.She was always considering running away if she didn't like her mom or her new husband,but she wouldn't tell someone that.They might worry.But,it's not like she would go live on the streets.She might go live with some of her friends.

After whispering the thing about runnning away,Reese looked back down at the piece of bread.What the heck?It was the end of the term.She needed to live a little bit.She picked the bread back up and started nibbling on it,again.

Reese watched as an owl swooped down onto the table in front of her and Whitney.What the-?At first she thought it would be a letter from her mom,but then Whitney took the letter from the owl.Nevermind.That letter isn't for her.Anyways,that owl DID NOT look like her mom's owl.She took her eyes off the owl and looked to Whitney,who was reading the letter. "What does it say?"she asked all cheerfully.Maybe it was a letter from Whitney's mom saying she couldn;t wait to see her.Haha.That seemed like something her godmother would do.

Reese quickly grabbed the letter from Whitney's hands and read it.Ohmygosh. I think it'd be best if you left Hogwarts for a while.NononononononononoNOOOOOOOOO.Whitney couldn't leave Hogwarts.She couldn't. "Whitney-"She whispered and she looked up from the letter,tears flowing down her face.She was going to cry a river.Right now.Right here."You can't leave.Cale's already leaving me.Lima is leaving me.Annnnnd,n-now you."She said then looked back at the letter. "Why is everyone leaving me?" She bit her lower lip as more tears strolled down her face.It wasn't FAIR.

Reese was starting to sound right. "Well....I was just...and....yeah you're right." she said regretfully. Was it bad to not like being wrong? "I just have to practice it is all. I just hadn't done it in a while." 'That couldn't be more true.' The last time she'd done one was when she was when she was about seven. Reese didn't have to know that though. When she saw her get a piece of bread and put it back down only to pick up a strawberry of all things,Whit gently shook her head. "Umm....this is a feast...not a salad bar." she stated with a small giggle.

"It wi-" She was going to assure Reese that everything would be okay until she heard that tiny whisper of hers. "Excuse me?!" she asked,more shocked than she'd been that whole day. "You must be kidding me. The last thing you will be doing is running away." 'No way,Jose.' If you want to get out of your house you can....call me and stay over,but let your mother know. You will not be running away."[/b] It was a little weird because Whit was two years younger than Reese but she was the one sounding like her mother at that moment. At least the one good thing she did do at that moment was eat bread. 'Yaaaay!' she thought in her head but knew better than to say that out loud.

Now Whit's eyes were getting very watery. 'Uuuugh.' "It's jus-" She was going to tell Reese something totally different from what the letter said,so as not to upset her,but before she knew what was happening the girl was already holding the letter in her hand. That was when Reese burst and tears started falling down Whit's cheeks. "I'm soooo sorry!" She felt horrible. Not only was her mother sick but now one of her best friends was crying and feeling lonelier than ever. "Not everyone's leaving you! Just....my mom......Oooh!" Now her arms were wrapped around Reese,rubbing her back soothingly,trying anything to make her feel better. 'I'm extremely sorry Reese.' That's all she wanted to say over and over until she could understand. 'Chase.' she thought then realized what she would have to do after this. Suddenly though,that thought was gone from her mind but new tears were falling from her eyes. "I'll visit and....write and...I probably wont be gone that long?"

Shana beamed.I'm glad you like them.and you better NOT come back next term with something for me,cause I won't have it off you.Shana smirked and shook her head,Do you not know me at all ? she sighed.Chicken wings! Of corse.she beamed.As she took the first bite out of chicken wing,she finished her chicken wing and reached over for another.

Sakura walked into the Great Hall and looked around. Pausing to get a glimpse at where she had just spent a year of her life. Walking over to the Slytherin Table she hesitated slightly before walking up to Ruby. "Do you mind if I sit here?" she asked her cousin, as though unsure of her reception.

"I nooooooot!" Miles put his knife fork down so he didn't look like a greedy pig, and turned to smile at her. "I'm fine now that you're here." He said truthfully. He did actually wonder why there wasn't many Slytherin's here. Where was the dynamic duo that was Evee and Hugo? Reese? Shana? Sigh. At least Vannie was here.

"Yey!" He smiled, and picked up another patoto with his fork. "Don't you think you should be supporting your house?" Miles smirked at her, he would have thought she wen tp the Huffie table first, just to be house supportive. Students didn't seem to mingle with other houses right at the beginning. "Adults?" Being adults wasn't fun, but if that's what she wanted ... "Fiiiine. Grownups for the last term." - but they could still have fun.

Shana saw Sakura,she hadn't spoke to her for agess.One Min,Mel.She walked over and smiled.Hey Sakura.She smiled and gave her a little hug.
