Lucy sighed. It was a shame. "I've read that too. I think that a boy in your house was the twins nephew. I don't remember, but maybe." Lucy said. "If you dont mind my asking, what happened to your dad. You said you live with you mom." Lucy asked. She didnt want to seem pushy, but she was curious.

Whit walked over to the Slytherin Table with her head down. Why did everyone have to leave now? While she'd still have people....Lima was leaving. And Cale...and...She took a big breath and tried to calm herself down. She didn't wanna start crying again. Once she got to the table she saw Reese sitting down by herself. 'I bet she's sad too.' Forcing a big smile,Whit walked up behind and her gave her a big hug. "Hey Reeeese!!!" She yelled happy to see someone who wasn't leaving.

Siiiiiigh.

Reese startled fumbling with her fork as she thought about all the people that were leaving her.ABANDONING HER.How was Hogwarts going to be without Cale-or Lima here?Who was she going to turn to when she was stuck?There were so many questions,but no answers.

Reese nearly jumped out of the seat when someone yelled her name.She dropped the fork she was playing with on the floor and turned around the see Whitney,who had just ran up to her and was now hugging her. "Hey there Whit,"she said as she returned her hug.

When Reese turned around and hugged her back, Whit could tell she was just as upset as she was. Sitting down next to her she said, "Y'know.....you should turn that frown upside down." Hoping it'd make Reese smiley a tiny bit,Whit stood back up and did a hand stand while attempting to frown. "Did it...." She didn't even last long enough to finish her question though because she fell flat on her back. "Owie!" she practically yelled,rubbing her head. "Did it at least get you to laugh?" she asked looking up,hopefully. "Ugh." Whit sat up so that she was looking at Reese but she wasn't sure if she could stand up just yet. "Should I be dizzy?" she asked putting her head into her hands.

Herminny said raising an eyebrow hearing Lucy asked about her father said,
"Thats actually a very touchy issue with my family better left unsaid, believe me, you don't want to know, there are times I wish I did not know, please lets just change the subject", Herminny said eyeing Lucy.

Lucy could see the discomfort of the subject and quickly changed it. "Sure no problem. So what's your favorite muggle thing?" Lucy asked. Since she was a pureblood she wasn't accustomed to muggle stuff

Reese watched as Whitney made a fool of herself. "Whitney-"she started to say,but watched as her friend tumbled backwards onto the ground.Now,that was funny.She started laughing as she stood up and walked over to her. "Are you okay?" She asked her. She held out her hand for Whitney to take. "Well,you hit your head.I'm pretty sure you're suppose to feel a little dizzy."

"Hmm, I really don't have one, what I have learned coming here is that many of the things I have liked growing up a muggle are things like singing dancing, painting, and watching sporting events are favorites of kids at Hogwarts as well, we are really not all that different as human beings asside from the magic. However there is something I find knd of cool in the muggle world that I noticed is not in the wizarding world and it is the use of electronics, my favorite being a computer to search the web".

Lucy cocked her head to the side, obviously confused. 'The web? What the heck was that?'

"I would have to show it to you on a computer for you to understand, mabe you could come over to my house over summer, it's just outside of Diagon Alley, I still can't believe I only found out about Diagon Alley this year when I have lived next the place all my life, but thats my muggleness for ya", Herminny said smircking a little.

When she heard Reese laughing,her smile widened a bit. "Yeah,I'm okay. I think my heads become numb with all of the falling I do,actually." she said with a weak laugh. Reese had a point though. Her falling on her head would have to be what made her dizzy. "At least I made you laugh....right?" she said a little happier than she'd planned. Although she found the floor very comfortable,Whit got up and sat back down on the bench,reaching over for a glass of water. "Sorry about that."

"Yeah,you made me laugh alright,"Reese told her with a little smile.She stepped back and let Whitney get up.She stooed near enough,so if Whitney tumbled over,she would be able to catch her. "How dizzy are you?"She questioned.She followed Whitney back to the table and sat down beside her.

"Errrrrm-Whit.I got some news,"Reese spoke up. "I got a letter from my mom a few days ago.She found this guy in Ireland and fell in love with him.She got married and decided to move back down here with that man.So,luckly,I won't have to move to Ireland,but I still have to move in with my mom.She said I need to live 'in a real family'.She told me my godmother doesn't count as real family." She lightly rolled her eyes. "Unfortunatly,she didn't tell me anything about the man she married." She picked up her pumpkin juice and took a sip.She didn't want to say anymore stuff about this topic.It was worse enough that your OWN mother didn't tell you she was getting married.But also that she wouldn't tell Reese about the man she married.She was NOT looking foward to moving in with her mother.Not at all.

Lucy smiled brightly. She had never been invited to a friends home. "That be great. Maybe then you could come to my house and I'll show how to play Exploding Snap." Lucy said. "So wanna sit on the train tomorrow?" Lucy asked.

"Oh okay, you can teach me how to play exploding snap and I can teach you how to search the web on a computer. And of course, I would love to sit with you on the train tomorrow, I would not have it any other way"

"We could also ask Cedric to sit with us." Lucy said smiling and nudging Herminny.

Maddox walked over to the slytherin table. This is probably the last time he would get to see Evee, but he wanted to say goodbye to her. He looked around but couldnt see her anywhere near by, so he kept walking...

Hands clasped behind her back, Evolette McKenna strolled over to the Slytherin table. She was late. So what? Part of fun was making an entrance, was it not?

Sniffing, her blue eyes trailed along the table, looking for someone worth talking to. As she evaluated every person, she checked them off in her mind.

Ew.

Nope.

Not Happening.

As if.

That was when her eyes landed on a Hufflepuff. Honestly. A Hufflepuff? Come on. Sighing, she flipped her hair off of her shoulder, and tilted her chin up, and up, and up.

Oh. It was Maddox. Well that was okay then.

"Looking for me?" she asked sweetly, batting her eyelashes at him. She wanted to add a "Or Camira." but bit her tongue, deciding against it.

"Yeah, but then I might have to ask you to move to move to a different compartment and I think you know why and I really don't want to go there right now, and besides Cedric has has a few freinds other then us, he'll be fine, and I was hoping for us to sit on the train together just as gal pals"

Finally, he saw her, walking towards him. He grinned and looked down at her. she was one of the people he would miss most, and miss looking at the most. "Yes I am looking for you actually. This is probably the only chance i will have to say goodbye to you." He couldnt say much else. It has always been hard for him to say goodbye to people. Evee had been such a great friend to him this term, and he would miss her terribly.

There were not many things that Evolette was bad at. But, saying goodbye, was the worst. She never stuck around long enough to actually have to say it. Heck, she'd left Terry high and dry, just so she wouldn't have to say goodbye to him.

Now, here she was, surrounded by people saying goodbye. It was enough to give her a rash. Or some kind of allergic reaction. If she actually spoke the words, would her throat close?

Rubbing at her arm absently, she tried to forget that she suddenly felt itchy. "Ah. Goodbye." She nodded, pressing her lips together, "Not my strongest thing I must confess."

She had actually almost forgotten that Maddox was leaving.

Maddox gave her a sad smile, and gently rubbed the arm that she wasnt already rubbing. He sighed. He hated goodbyes. It seemed like thats all he ever did...say goodbye.


"It's not my strongest thing either. Its actually very, very hard for me. But I know if I didnt get to tell you goodbye, I would hate myself." He continued to rub her arm, then slowly pulled her into a hug. "I'm going to miss you so much, Evee."

Was it even possible for an ice queen to say goodbye? Physically say the words? She didn't even know. It suddenly dawned on her that she'd never had to do it before.

Letting out a breath, she tried a smirk. "We're probably making a bigger deal out of this than it really is you know." She nodded. "It's not that easy to get rid of me. I'm sure we will stay friends, right?"

RIGHT?

Aww. Hugs. Chuckling, Evolette couldn't help but imagine Terry having a heart attack if he saw her hugging Maddox. Snort. THAT would be funny. "And I will miss using you to drive Terry insane." she added, winking.

Okay, now it was time to be serious. "But, yeah. I'm gonna miss you too." Choke. Gasp for air. Breathe..... she was still alive. Phew.

"Sure no problem! Gal pal, funny rhyme, but cute." Lucy said. "So did you hear some girl lost a 1000 points for Slytherin, I think it's Slytherin." Lucy said.

Maddox chuckled and replied "I believe we are, but it is still hard." He raised his left eyebrow and said, "We better stay friends. I dont know what i would do with out my Evee!" He smiled and poked her nose.


Terry. Where was Terry? He would be insanely happy to see that bloaks face right now. He pulled Evee closer just at the thought, and waggled his eyebrows at her, saying "Well, I'm sure he is incredibly jealous right now...wherever he is. Because you are in my arms and not his!" He grinned mischeviously.


He smiled sadly, and kissed her forehead. Sighing, he replied, "We will see each other again. I promise." He needed to go now. He had more people to say goodbye to, none of which were more important than Evee. "Well, I need to go. I have more people to say goodbye too. The ones that arent as important as you." He hugged her tight one last time and replied, "Write me, ok?" He let her go, and before turning to walk away he said, "Goodbye my darling Evolette."

"I believe it actually was a boy from Hufflepuff boy and the head HOH talked to the professor who did it and the situation was rectified in less thn day and the boy ended up only losing a reasonable number of points for the bad thing he did".
