The Ancient Runes Office that had once belonged to Professors Iccunnav, Rierdan, Opterix, De Luca and Clark could no longer be recognized in its new state.

The walls had been painted a sassy lilac color, and pictures of medieval renaissance of ladies and their knights had been strung all around. Alessia Nicoletta Lupa had always had a flair for the romantic.

She had set up a Neapolitan Moka espresso pot in a corner on an old fashioned cast iron parlor stove she never left behind. The small iron stove had etched in it the Sowilo rune for warmth and the Ingwaz rune for familial love.

There were bookshelves, but they had been disillusioned and there was no desk and no chairs, but in the middle of the office there was what could be best described as a very large round fluffy ottoman. The odd furniture piece was shorter than knee level and from the circumference to about a foot in, had been upholstered in fluffy lilac faux fur, the softest anyone ever felt. In the center of it, was a round wooden piece, same height as the rest of it. On it, placed neatly in a circle, were ten antique demitasse cups, overturned on their saucers and in the center a large platter, in the same pattern, on which the house elves would deliver daily cookie, or cake, or anything sweet that fancied Alessia at the time.

The china was a gift from her mother, who’d received if from her mother before that… and so one from generations, and she was to give it to her daughter… a sore spot for her.

Alessia doesn’t believe in closed doors, unless who she is meeting with at the time needs privacy to talk. So if she is alone on her office, she is no doubt meditating on her ‘fluffy’ (the name she calls the ottoman like piece of furniture,) so the door will be open, if there is someone in the office with her, the door will be shut.

"Oh... Uhmmm I gon'k wik bamiwa..." she said pulling the vanilla one out of her pocket. She then lead the way to the fluffy and sat down. "I goka geh shomeome..." she said and went out the door, got the boy on the bench and lead him so he could sit with Ross. "Rosh, Cope, Cope, Rosh... I dun hav amymore wowwies. Showwy."

Ross looked at the boy that had just came in then heard Professor lupa intoduce them both so being polite Ross held out his hand to him "Hello.. cope is it?" he said

"Copernicus," he wrapped his cloak around his own hand before shaking the other boy's. "Did she say your name is... Rosh?" Okay, so now Lupa was being even MORE crazy. He sighed. "Professor, I came to speak with you about the duel with Prefect Green."

"Ya ha?" She said finishing up the chocolate lollie first... now the mint wasn't as good without the chocolate, so she took it out and handed the half sucked on mint lollie to Copernicus. "Want a mind one?"

"No, thank you," Copernicus waved the lolly away. "About Prefect Green, Professor? She does not accept my challenge and does not want to duel. I tried..."

"She will..." Less said getting a piece of paper. "Evangeline, my dear BFF," she said as she was writing it. "Duel Copernicus, or I will have to take a gagillion points off slytherin... and I am a professor and can do it, so there, Lessy Lupa!" She smiled and sent the note flying to the prefect. "Done!" She smiled.

"I just thought maybe we could call it a draw. I believe she and I would be evenly matched..." Coperncius had really been hoping the professor would be willing to let this one go. But no dice.

"i like fun" Ross said trying not to be left out of this conversation between Professor lupa and this Cope person who obviously didn not have a sense of fun at all. Ross was so full of fun that it was burstin out of him but he could not compete with the ammount of fun that was comeing out of Professor Lupa as it wasa like one minute she was a very grumpy lady and the next minute she is the best teacher ever.

"Anna... Greingoth?" Copernicus looked horrified for a moment before his features smoothed over. "And then... I won't have to duel Prefect Green? I'll still be your champion?"

"Oh yeah, and make sure it doesn't come off for like... a week! Oooo is the next game Gryffindor Vs. Slytherin? We should do it for the game... OH AND CALE!!! Get both prefects! His hair could use improving." She said nodding. She yawned... "I think I'm going to go night night... I'll see you in the morning..." She said opening the door for both boys.

He made a face, but quickly schooled his features. Anna... was hard enough, but BOTH of them? For a WEEK? He would have to work hard on this one or else disappoint the professor. "Th-thank you, Professor. I'll be going now."
