Kevin smiled and said "Hi MacKenzie" Kevin turned to Adrianna and said "My cat's name is Victor i also have an owl as well"

Mackenzie put her owl on the shelf next to Kevin's and then took a seat in the compartment. "What's your owl's name?" she asked. She hoped it was okay for her to sit there.

Ermm No I love them i wish i had one.Shana looked longily at the yellow pygmy puffs.And stroked it.Then she looked up at kiri and then she saw nancy walk past the compartment and hoped that nancy might come in then it wouldn't be so quiet.But she was still so glad she had made friends with kiri

Kevin smiled and said "My owl's name is Bubbles"

Mackenzie thought that that was kind of a weird name for an owl. But she didn't want to say anything and be rude. "My owl's name is Midnight," she said.

Adrianna smiled as yet another person joined the group. "Hi, nice to meet you!" she said to MacKenzie. "I like that name, Victor," she said as she leaned back in her seat. She looked at MacKenzie. "My owl or his?" she asked with an entertained smile.

"Seeing as Kevin already answered, what's your owl's name?" Mackenzie said turning to the girl.

Kevin smiled and said "I know it is weird but it was the first name i could come up with MacKenzie" Kevin turned to Adrianna and said "Thanks i love my kitten he is so cute and very faithful"

"Midnight's a pretty name!" she said to Mackenzie. "And I like Bubbles," she added, grinning at Kevin. "This is Ebony," she said, smiling at her owl. Ebony opened his eyes at the sound of his name and looked up sleepily at Adrianna. She smiled and gently took him out of the cage. "Morning sleepy head!" she teased.

Kevin grinned back and said "Your owl is so cool Adrianna, what house are you hoping to get into"

"That's okay. It's a cute name. Your kitten is very adorable by the way," Mackenzie said. She looked at little Victor. She had the choice between an owl or a cat, she chose an owl, but now she was wishing otherwise. She would never get rid of Midnight though. She turned to the girl. Mackenzie watched as her owl woke up at the sound of his name. "Hi Ebony." Mackenzie was always very fond of owls.

Kevin blushed and said "Thanks MacKenzie i can't wait to see Hogwarts"

"That's good! I met a cat once that was an absolute horror!" she said with a laugh. "Thanks," she said, and placed Ebony right on her arm. He stepped there obediently, taking in the scenery with large eyes. Adrianna watched him proudly and then looked up at Kevin's question. "I honestly don't know. They were explained to me earlier, but I have no clue what would work best for me!" she said with a gentle shrug.

Adrianna laughed softly as Ebony turned to face the girl. He cocked his head to one side, studying the new girl. Then, very slowly, he nodded his head as if saying hello.

Gabriel had boarded the train smiling. It would only be a matter of hours before they were finally at Hogwarts. He couldn't wait. Every since he was young he was hoping he'd get his letter. His parents told him the stories that that had experienced at Hogwarts and it only made him want to go there more. As he walked down the corridor, he saw that the book/ice cream girl was sitting in a compartment. With a smile he was about to say hello when he heard a male and female voice coming from teh compartment as well. Not wanting to intrude on an already large group, his smile faded and he continued walking to the front of the train carrying Ivory along with him.

"I can't wait to see it either. My brother said it was one of the most amazing places he had ever seen," Mackenzie said remembering her brother's stories of Hogwarts.

Mackenzie giggled when Ebony nodded his head at her. "Your owl is really cool," she said to the girl whose name she guessed was Adrianna from what Kevin called her.

Nancy was walking down the corridor looking in to every compartment to see whether there was any familiar face in them. But there wasn't. Of course there were some people she recognized but none of which she knew that well as to sit with them on the Hogwarts Express. Meh. Pulling her cat, whose fur was now back to black-and-white thanks to her father, closer towards her Nancy continued to peek into each compartment in search for a place to sit. Thank Merlin her dad had managed to change Chistery's fur back to normal, it would have been more than embarrassing if she had had to run around with a pink cat. Which reminded her, she still needed to find Jack, as much as she hated to, or someone else to help her with her revenge on Hailey.

Nancy absentmindly twirled a strand of dark-blonde hair around her finger with a smirk plastered across her face at the thought of her plan. Just as she'd decided to simply ask anyone whether she could sit with them her blue eyes spotted a familiar face in one of the compartments. Shana. She was sitting with another girl she'd seen around during classes but had never actually talked to. A smile crept across her lips as she slowly opened the compartment door and said, "Hey Shana. Do you mind if sit with you?" Then turning towards the other Slytherin girl she added, "Hey. I'm Nancy, by the way."

Kevin smiled and said "Well i suppose you will be placed where the hat thinks you belong, i hope to get into Slytherin" Kevin nodded at MacKenzie and said "Yeah i can't wait to meet more people and get stuck into the lessons"

"I can't wait to see what the classes are like. And I don't care if people think I'm weird for it," Mackenzie said admittingly.

Shana was really glad that nancy was here she was the only one that she had told about her parents.Mabye with the help of nancy she and kiri would become great friends.It was like magic shana wished nancy would come and she came.Shana was a bit curious wheather she had accidently cast a spell.

But thankfully she looked in her bag and obviously she had left her wand in her suitecase.Shana finally answered nancy's question of corse you can thats ok isn't it ?

Adrianna nodded along with the two of them. "My mom was a muggle, so I have no idea what Hogwarts is like!" she told them with a smile. "I'm so excited!" She laughed as Ebony seemed to perform for the girl. "You are a ham," she told the owl. Ebony looked up at Adrianna, then shrugged. He leaned down and gave her finger an affectionate nibble. Adrianna laughed and looked up at Mackenzie. "He really is, I love him!" she said, giving him a gentle hug. "Sorry, I don't think I introduced myself, I'm Adrianna," she said with a kind smile.

Adrianna was still laughing at Ebony's antics when a sudden movement caught her eye. She looked up and thought she glimpsed the boy from Diagon Alley. But, by the time she went to get up, he was gone. She made a face and settled back down. Well, at least she knew he was on the train. Suddenly, Ebony was looking up as well. The owl remained frozen, looking out of the compartment, then took flight. He flew out the open compartment door and down the corridor. Adrianna sprang up and threw herself after the owl, but by the time she reached the door Ebony was gone. She made a face and sat back down with a sigh. She knew the owl would find her again eventually.

She nodded, understanding. "Well, hopefully the hat likes me then!" she said with a laugh. "Slytherin? I heard that there's a Gryffindor and Slytherin rivalry... know anything about that?" she asked him, curious. "I don't know much of the wizarding world," she explained with a small smile.

Kiri watched in silence as the girl stroked her pygmy puff and smiled to herself. Buying the 'puff had been an on-the-spot decision, but apart from her father's reaction when he first saw it, she was really glad she'd bought it. "You should buy one," she suggested. "They're five galleons, I think." She realised she still didn't know the girl's name, but before she could ask her, the compartment door opened again.

The girl had long blond hair and the sort of striking blue eyes Kiri was always envious of. Kiri thought her face seemed vaguely familiar, but after a moment's rummaging in her mind she failed to come up with a name for the girl, so apparently they'd never talked.
The girl also had a cat with her, a black and white one that stood closely behind her and peered around its owner's legs at Kiri, and at the sight of it Kiri pulled her pygmy puff close to her chest. The little bundle of fluff appeared to have noticed something, because it started trembling again. Kiri rubbed its fur with her fingers soothingly as the newcomer said to the other girl: "Hey Shana. Do you mind if sit with you?"
So her name is Shana, Kiri nodded to herself. To the second girl, she said. "Hi, umm, Nancy. I'm Kiri."

Kevin nodded to Adrianna and said "I know a little of it from what my sister told me but so far i have met a couple of gryffindor's and they have both been nice"

Mackenzie watched as Ebony flew from the compartment and listened as Kevin explained the Gryffindor and Slytherin rivalry. "My brother said there was a little bit of a rivalry too. But he was in Gryffindor and had friends in Slytherin, so I don't know how many people believe that."

"Well that's good!" Adrianna said with a smile. "I'm glad I haven't met many who cherish their rivalry, that just doesn't work for me at all," she said with a shudder. Her eyes went to the door, searching for any sign of Ebony.

Upon hearing Terry's question, Issy could not help but to dissolve into peals of giggles. He thought...? Ooooo he did he did! And if she wanted to be especially mean, she could have let him believe what he did... Except Issy really liked Terry and was afraid that if he thought the skunklette's would raise tails and coat in au de stinky to high heavens, Terry would kick her out. Glancing down at the skunklettes who were waddling around the floor, exploring every crevice, she only giggled more. It took her a moment to calm down and carefully wipe her eyes where tears of laughter had formed.

"No, no, noooooo," she said, shaking her head, eyes bright with mirth (and tears). "Flower and Stinky don't spray. When they were really young, they had their scent sacks removed. But... just don't go around telling everyone that, okay?" A wicked glint flashed in the girl's eyes. "If I ever find someone who needs to learn a lesson..." Her wand was held in her left hand, and as her voice trailed off, her eyes trained to it, twirling the thin wood between her fingers.

Eyes fell back upon Mr. RAWR and Issy smiled at the pink fluff. She kind of expected that Terry wouldn't be so possessive of his pygmy puff, but one could never be too certain and she didn't like to take chances when it came to pets and animals. "That just means you're a very liberal parent," Issy informed Terry. "Do you know how many young pygmy puffs dream of flying through the air and never are given the opportunity?"

Chuckling softly, she continued to watch the puff, which seemed more like a hyper fluff of fur than anything. Terry was right, she figured. Poor Mr. RAWR probably thought she was terrified of him. Gently reaching out to pet him, she found her fingers burrowing into thick, thick soft fur.

"Hello, Mr. RAWR," she greeted him. "It's a pleasure to meet you." With her free hand, she clutched her skirt gently, pulled it out a bit, and curtsied. "I had a friend named Mister Ryan, once, but he's gone on in life." To Terry, she smiled and explained the skunklettes. "No, they weren't strays or anything. Wild skunks aren't too fond of us - we intimidate them, you know? But my family is full of exotic pets and ever since I was really little, I wanted a skunk. When Daddy asked me what kind of pet I wanted, I told him I wanted skunks." She beamed happily, a little squeak escaping. "So he came home one day with babies Flower and Pepe le Stinky."

Squashed in Hugo's arms, she flailed just a little, acknowledging that, yes, Terry was right - Hugo was squashing the poor girl!


"Awwww, Hugo," Issy murmured, rubbing the boy's back. "Rubbish? Worst day? Tell us about it - what can be so horrible that it's got you so upset, mmm?"

Fortunately for her, it seemed that Hugo had realized he'd been squashing her. Unfortunately for her it, seemed that Hugo didn't know his strengths. As he hugged her, her feet left the ground and she muffled a squeak as she clenched her arms tightly around him, kicking her legs and clinging to him. Still, she felt happy that she had been able to cheer him up.

However she did it.

"I've missed you too!" she told him, ceasing her leg flails and hoping that she'd be returned to the floor soon.

Terry and Hugo. She suddenly imagined that she had a fun trip ahead of her. And yet... where were Becca and Juni and Melly? And Samson? Upon thinking the name, Issy's tummy shifted and churned. Where was he? This term, she decided, she was going to make the move. Because they'd already learned that it was impossible for them to not be friends with each other, and Issy realized it was impossible for her to have nothing to do with him. What was the worst she could do - scare him off? Certainly not...

She hoped.
