"Yes! Just like I pretended to move to the middle car of the train," Lyra snickered keeping up the game they were playing. It was fun being smart sometimes. "But your homework will be magically done by your owner of course because Banana is going to keep harping until it is turned in for Gryffindor points."

She loved Agie. Between the two of them, only one had to instigate while the other edged forward and made it happen. It was great how they worked as a team and were always into something.

Jumping up quickly Alexis had to grip on the the edge of the seat so she wouldn't fall off. As she realized who the person was who sat down she grinned. "SAMMY!" Leaning over Lex gave the younger Gryffindor a hug.

Alexis shook her head causing her hair to flap around her face. "First years?Naah they are already hyper enough." Reaching into her pocket Alexis took out three packs of Jelly Slugs and a Chocolate Frog. Opening the frog she bit the head off and her grin grew. Candy was good. It kept her sane all these years...kinda.

"I haven't seen ANYONE....except for you..but I don't think you would count cause you wouldn't be looking for yourself right?" She asked blinking as she took another bite of the chocolate. Logic always hurt her head.

Agie was about to be in tear from all their snickering. Her tummy was starting to hurt from laughing. "Well if Banana wants the points she can do the homework for me. All I'll have to do is cross out her name and add my own." She smiled evilly. "And, well, if the professors have a problem with that, I guess they can come and talk to me... If they can find me."

Agie now felt like skipping. There were having a lot of fun so why not skip? With a tug of Lyra's arm, she started to skip her way through to the next compartment. "I smell trouble. This means we are almost there." She sang.

Sam jumped as Lexi shouted her name. Then the older Gryffindor was hugging her. Hugging her! She had definitely had her dose of candy today. "Glad to see you too Lex." she chuckled.

She couldn't help but laugh as Lex said first years were hyper as it was. That was true. They were always running around like their tails were on fire. "That never stopped you before though." A person could never be too hyper for Alexis she imagined. They should go find somebody to get hyper!

"Oh! Idea! Want to go mess with the next innocent person you see?" Sam asked, a shifty look in her eyes. It would be entertaining to see somebody get extremely hyper. Hyper people were just entertaining. She should know.

Snorting, Sam replied, "You never know. I tend to get lost a lot." She smiled at her witty remark and eyed the chocolate frog in Alexis' hand. Hmm, maybe just getting Lex extremely hyper would be enough...Nah. The girl was always extremely hyper.

Glad to see Sam? She had seen Sam all summer. Sam was boorrring. "I'm not glad to see you." Lex said sticking her tongue out at her. "I'm just happy that I'm not all by myself anymore."

Lex shrugged. Mess with first years? That wasn't nice! The little short people were already nervous and scared about being in Hogwarts as it was. Why should they make them more nervous by supplying them candy?

"Okay!!" Lex said happily. "As long a it's not a first year! And...what do you mean by mess with?" Sam's jokes were a little scary sometimes. She had to get the full plan. Orr..she was dead. "I bet you don't get lost as much as Vannah trips, falls, or knocks stuff over." Giggling as she said this she wondered how the Hufflepuff would reply to that...she would probably agree.

Helena grinned and took a seat beside him, setting her pet carrier on the side opposite where he was sitting. Thank you, I've been quite well, actually, and you? She then turned her attention to the other girl in the compartment. Hello, Reese, it's very nice to make your aquaintance. Helena smiled and nodded politely in Reese's direction.

"Oh,you're not bragging.Don't worry,"Reese said,smiling slightly.

"Yeah,you're right.I picked up music when I learned I could sing pretty decintly.I thought if I could sing,why not try to put music with it,"she said.

"Durmstrang?You're like the 3rd person I met that was from Durmstrang.It's weird.It's like everyone went there,"Reese said."You lived in Mexico?Thats cool.I use to live in Sutton Coldfield,not far from London,then I moved to London to live with my godmother.That's is all the moving I ever did."

"So,I don't think I ever asked.What house and year are you in?I'm a fourth year Slytherin,"she smiled at him.

Reese looked at the girl that just entered their compartmet."Hello,"she said to the girl with a smile on her face."It's nice to meet you,too Helena."

Cale put on a happy face when she mentioned that it was his last term and chuckled. "Yeah, but who are you calling little? Last I checked, YOU were YOUNGER than me," he teased with a grin. The more people who brought up the fact he was leaving, the sadder he got. Silly as it seemed, after he graduated, he'd feel like a dad or something around all his friends who hadn't graduated. Except Anna, of course. THAT would be just plain weird and creepy.

He blinked at her next response. That was certainly...deep. Yes, very deep, that was true. "So, erm, are you saying cause we weren't talking for a while you're...fonder of me?" he asked in confusion before grinning.

"Nice to know..." Emiliano said to Helena and smiled. "So, ready to go back...?" He asked in a sudden moment. He was sure excited, nervous to be in a school, but so unsure of what might happen now that he's a Hogwarts' student.

Emiliano slightly smiled back to Reese and listened to her as she spoke. Then she talked about her home and the new life around England. He wanted to ask why was she not living with her parents, yet it was too much intrusion at that short time of meeting each other. "Oh, even though you haven't been much around, at least you didn't have to leave your friends...and I believe you still can see your family..." He guessed smiling to Reese.

"I'm a Ravenclaw, fifth year..." He told Reese and had inside that thought about him supposed to be a sixth year, but because of his visit in the middle of the year to Mexico he had to go back and do that year again.

Anna loved the new prefect's compartment---really, she did. It was nice to have a place to get away that wasn't so crowded and quite so noisy. Not that Anna hated loud noise or anything like that, though. She just liked knowing she could get some peace and quiet if she needed it. It just so happened that at the moment she didn't need peace and quiet---she needed to see her friends. Even though she'd been gone to Diagon Alley pretty much every day for the past two or so weeks, she still hadn't managed to see a lot of her good friends since last school year.

It was for all of those reasons that Anna found herself strolling down the aisles around the middle compartments. As luck would have it, the first two people she caught site of were her boyfriend, Cale, and her good friend, Evolette. Instinctively, Anna blinked and made a quick pause. Even though the terrible situation from last term had been explained by both Cale and Evolette, Anna still got a little uneasy when the two of them were together. Anna shook the feeling off, knowing in her heart that all that was behind them now. "Hey," Anna said, walking up to them both and smiling. Turning to Cale, Anna said, "So this is where you got off to. Had to get out of that compartment for a while, too, huh?" Anna glanced over at Evolette. She was glad the two of them had become friends towards the end of last school year. "So, Evolette, how was your summer?" she asked.

Evolette shrugged, "Yes well........I'm cuter than you." she countered, really having nothing else to say. "Although even I could never pull off those sideburns."

What was with her confusing all the males that she talked to today? "Something like that." she said, chuckling as she rolled her eyes. "Just take a compliment Newell."

Evolette was slightly annoyed when someone else arrived, but that quickly disappeared when she realized who it was. "Hi Anna!" she greeted, giving the girl a genuine smile. She had been right, being around her friends was making her feel better about her breakup with Terry. But, GUH, did everyone have to ask about the summer, "It was good." she replied, reciting the same thing she had told everyone so far. "I spent it with Terry." No reason to lie. It wasn't like she burst into tears when she said his name. Well, she didn't do that anymore. "Yours?"

With his hands in his pockets, Seth unhurriedly walked down the aisle of the train with his head held down. Over the past few days, the sixth year had not been himself at all. He was confused, sad, lost, and ... alone. Hour after hour, the scene of him standing on Charing Cross Road watching her walk away from him replayed in his mind, and each time it did he couldn’t help but think the same few words over and over in his mind. She’s gone. Asteira Blood is gone. Forever.

It seemed that now that his entire world was slowly falling into pieces without Asteira in his life. Who would be there to argue with him that the portrait of Barnabas the Barmy was teaching hippos to dance instead of trolls? Who would be there to say that he’d make a good sled to go sledding down staircases with? Although the two had completely different personalities, there was some sort of connection between the two of them that made them attract to each other like magnets. But now that connection was broken.

Deep down, Seth Paton knew that he loved her – he still did. Although he had billions of chances to tell her so, he just never had plucked up enough courage to tell Asteira that. But it was too late now. She was never coming back....

What?! Well thank you Alexis. "Well! I see how it is." Sam said, and pretended to look mad. She couldnt hold the scowl for long however. She knew Lex loved her more than she let on. And if she didn't, too bad for her! Ha!

"Ok, fine not a first year. We will just do what I said before. Next person we see walk by the compartment." she rolled her eyes. Sam didnt know Lex was one for protecting the little first years. She couldnt help but laugh out loud at the Vannah comment. "You're right. Vannah beat me in that department." she said. Where was that girl? Probably greeting the first years. So like Savannah.

As Lex asked what she meant by messing with people, an evil smirk fell onto her lips. She had a few tricks up her sleeve. Sliding open the door to their compartment she waited for the perfect moment. Spying an emo looking boy walking their way, her chocolate brown eyes glistened. She had found the target. Turning back to Alexis she whispered, "Follow my lead. Do what I say. And dont look at me like I am losing it. Make him think he is losing it."

The Gryffindor then turned sharply as the boy began walking by their compartment. She reached out and pulled him inside. "Sorry if you had to be somewhere, but you need to help us out. Hear that buzzing sound? Well we are trying to get rid of it. Help us?" she said in the most innocent way possible. Catching Lexi's eye she raised an eyebrow as if to say, Ready to play?

"Right, you keep thinking that," Cale said with a smirk, chuckling when she mentioned his massive sideburns. "Good. I wouldn't want to see them on you...it would be a little creepy, to be honest," he added with a grin.

He looked up as Anna, his co-prefect and girlfriend of almost two years, walked up to them and asked about her summer. Once again, Cale got slightly suspicious of Evolette's attitude. But if she didn't want to talk about what was bothering her then...he wouldn't pry.

He turned to Anna and shrugged. "Ehh, I was bored. In case you haven't noticed, we're not the most popular prefects in the world," he told her with a chuckle.

Alexis shoot Sam back an innocent look. Of course she was just messing with the sixth year. Sam was too fun to be around with even if she had seen her all summer. Plus....Sam was starting to become less quite and more...sneaky. She had been trying to get her like that since her fourth year!!

Alexis blinked at Samantha. Follow what she said? Uhoh...Sam's plans were...well she had never actually been apart of Sam's plans before. This would be interesting. "Okay suureee but like...you better not try and make me commit murder or something." She said with a sigh. It was also time to put her acting to test.

Watching as Sam dragged some boy into the compartment, Alexis caught on to her plan quickly. Eying the boy she began to circle him. "Maybe it's him! I think it's him. He looks like the kind of depressed type of person who would like to make annoying buzzing sounds. Whatcha think Ashley?" Lex asked raising an eyebrow back at Sam. As if to say 'OHhh this will be fun.'

Right when the gloomy scene started to replay in his head again, he was suddenly pulled right into a compartment full of a batch of people who he did not know. The only person that he sort of knew was the girl that had pulled him into the compartment in the first place – Sammy Edwards. Although he didn’t really know the Gryffindor that well, it was rather hard to forget her as she had grabbed onto him during one of the Quidditch matches last term. Ugh. He didn’t like this girl much, did he?

And what was she talking about?! “Okay, first off, you should know better than to pull me in here like that,” Seth said sharply at Sammy, glaring at her with his blue eyes. He may have been heartbroken right now, but that definitely wouldn’t stop his bad temper from exploding. “And secondly, what in Merlin’s beard are you talking about? There is no buzzing!” There were no buzzing noises, right?

Then he noticed that another girl was circling him as if she was a lion and he was her prey. What made matters even weirder was that she started yelling like he was some type of buzzing freak. “Whoa! I was making buzzing noises? I don’t think so! … And what do you mean I look depressed? I’m not depressed.” Oh snap. Is it that obvious?

Sam raised an eyebrow as the boy began yelling at her. What was it about her that brought the temper out of temperamental boys? She should make a list of all the boys she ticks off this term. Which sounds like fun! As she looked at the boy who looked around her age, it hit her. She had met this boy before! Didn't she trip over him during a quidditch match? What was his name? Steven? Sebastian? Sylvester? Ha Sylvester! His name was Sylvester now.

"I know you! And I should've known better, but oh well. You'll live." she said, sticking her tongue out at him. She then turned toward Alexis, and threw her a scowl. Ashley? Seriously?! Of course Lex had to use the most girlish name she could think of. Ugh! But she couldn't lose character. Now now, when she had found a new victim's buttons to push.

"Mila. This is Sylvester. Sylvester, Mila." she introduced them. Mila was the first name she could think of so she used it. See what she makes of that! She then rolled her eyes at Sylvester. "How can you not hear that buzzing? It's annoying!" she said.

Sam then gasped dramatically at Lexi's words. "Maybe the buzz is coming from him. What is it about depressed people that come with that buzzing noise?" Sam said to Lex, rolling her eyes for emphasis. A slow smile fell onto the Gryffindor's lips as she heard the boy's next reply. Looks like they hit a nerve. Excellent. "Dude! You looked like you were in a whole other world! You need candy. Mila? Share?" Sam smirked.

Backing away from the Depressed boy a bit as he began to yell at Sammy, Lex tried hard to keep a serious face. Sam could tick off so many people! It was entertaining. But she couldn't laugh. Not yet. She had to be serious.

Mila? Sam was very creative. Or insane. Lex doubted that the guys name was even Sylvester but she couldn't say that he was there. "Nice to meet you Sylvester! Did you know it's very rude to yell at Ashley like that?" She asked in her most serious voice possible. "There is buzzing!! You don't hear it? Did you bump your head? Are you deaf?"

Alexis nodded, a small smirk played on her lips. "Yeah...depressed people always make the buzzing sound. I guess it is him." Alexis said ignoring everything that Sylvester had just said. He had no say in this mission of sniftyness.

"You look depressed plus you're making buzzing noises! How could you not be?" Looking toward Sam again Alexis opened her mouth to protest but closed it quickly. Was she insane? HER CANDY! Her special candy! And it wasn't even done testing yet. Annd she hadn't even fixed the formula it would still turn the dude mega hyper. Unless...Sammy wanted that. Gah. She would just have to go along, plus...it would be interesting to see what this guy did. Bitting her lip Lex shook her head. "I don't think so Ashley, I mean....depressed people aren't really cool enough to have candy...they are like geeks right?"

Daniel was walking up and down the compartments when he saw their Quidditch Captain. He knocked at the compartment door and poked his head in to ask something. "Hi there, Lex. How was your summer?"he cannot put his thoughts into words. "So is there any opening in the team this year? I really practiced hard this summer to get into the team." he shamefuly asked Lex.

Seymour made his way down the corridor between the compartments, glancing in each window as he walked. It was brilliant-- the middle cars. A compromise between front and back-- he had options now. He happily weaved through his fellow students who were also on the noble quest to find a somewhat empty compartment. Hogwarts would be strange without Will-- after all, the knight had been there since day one for him, and he had left so abruptly... but it'd be interesting to try and live up to his expectations for his newly acquired position. FTW!

Being one of the last ones who had boarded the Express, he continued on his search, pausing in front of a full compartment and waiting for the crowds to thin a little bit.

Cela was in a good mood, she had had her sugar fix, claimed some new friends, and now she was looking for a place to sit and bask in the glory that was going back to school. Without her brother. Yes! Cela was beginning to realise there was an upside to Nicholai not returning. For starters, she was now the only Toussaint at Hogwarts; meaning new students wouldn't look at her as Nico's little sister- nuh uh! If they ever met him then he'd be Cela's big brother because she was the cool one.

With a cool new pet. Cela smiled happily and decided to thank herself for her birthday present, "Thank you Celandine Toussaint." she spoke through a giggle and spun around on one foot just because she could.

Miranda walked between compartments in the middle of the train. She had seen a lot of people who seemed to already be comfortable with friends - even other first years. Having been sheltered by her father, her brother was the closest thing to a friend she had, and he was out of Hogwarts now. She peered through windows, hoping to find someone else alone...or a small group willing to accept a new member.

Seymour instinctively looked up as a figure just a few feet away from him twirled, catching the corner of his eye. His grin turning into more of a sheepish smile, he instantly recognized who it was-- she was turning up everywhere! Partially forgetting the Diagon Alley incident, and summoning up every ounce of courage in him, he took a breath and spoke up as she passed. Eeeps. "G-good day, Celandine," he called, tripping over his own words. Merlin, what had he been thinking? This was an accident just waiting to happen!

There was no going back now. He'd have to take a hit... he could always restore health points later on, right? Right? Could health potions heal mental scars? He rather doubted it.

Righting herself, Celandine straightened up to her full height, proud of her extra two inches even if Garret had almost made her feel like it was insignificant. She smiled brightly at Seymour, "It is a g-good day." she agreed happily. She skated over to him and took his arm, "Lets find somewhere to sit." Cela skated along, dragging Seymour as best she could until she spotted an almost empty compartment. It didn't occur to her to ask if they could enter; there wasn't any other place to go, and so she let go of Seymour and threw herself into a seat, tucking her legs up underneath her. "You have some explaining to do." Cela spoke seriously, "Why isn't Will coming back to me and where is he?" she pouted for a moment before cheering herself up with with thoughts of her newest pet.

Eyes growing impossibly wide as she took his arm, Seymour smiled weakly at her. Was she trying to give him a heartattack? She was touching him! Not disgusted by him after his allergy attack in Diagon Alley! She must be an angel, he thought happily, not really paying attention to any of the people he was bumping into on their way to find a compartment. There were more important things to pay attention to!

Plopping down on the bench across from her, he set his overpacked suitcase down and looked up at her. "Our dear friend was removed from Hogwarts for his last year and placed in his academy early... his father, the king, had to go to the United States and take care of some unnamed business." He paused, sliding his glasses back up the bridge of his nose. "And so he'll begin his training to become a hit wizard now, instead of end or term his time around. It... it leaves more time to tend to his kingdom, too." It was a sad fact, but at least the world would be safer with Will protecting it. Hogwarts was fully vulnerable, however, with no trained knight on duty... they were all doomed. "D-did you know him well?"
