Terry watched Issy play with her skunklettes, looking wary. 'They don't...stink up the place do they?' The words spilled out before he could even control. How...mature. Ekh, well he was curious after all. How many girls did he know who carried skunklettes around their shoulders? About as common as a boy who wandered around with a hot pink pygmy puff on his head.

'Over-protective over a ball of fluff? Really? I dunno, I'm probably what you'd call the opposite. I mean, I'd only bought him yesterday, and already, he'd had his first experience of hurtling off through the air.' Gently scooping out his beloved pygmy, he held him out in his palm, then grinned mischieviously, 'I still say you give Mr. RAWR a proper hello, just to let him know there aren't any hard feelings between you two.'

He looked over at the two skunklettes again. '...Where did you say you got them again? I highly doubt they were a couple strays frolicking right outside your house?'

Terry pressed his lips tightly at the sight of Hugo swamping Issy's tiny figure, an attempt to swallow his strangled laugh. 'HUGO,' he barely managed to choke out, 'Please, you're completely squishing the poor girl!'

His major concern though. Were the skunklettes safely out of harm yet?

Isabella found an empty compartment in the middle of the train. She sat down and stared out the window. Being a first year, she was quite nervous. As she stared out the window, she wondered if she would be able to make any friends.

Wincing, Evolette held her breath as she felt someone tap her shoulder, fully prepared to make a running exit if it happened to be one of the people she didn't want to see. But, she recognized the voice before she even looked over her shoulder. If she hadn't, she would be a bad ex-girlfriend. Well, she probably was that anyway.

"Cale!" she squeaked, throwing her arms around the curly headed prefect and hugging him tightly. "It's been too long." she agreed, she couldnt even remember the last time she had talked to him properly. Probably back when they had their fake break up.

A smile stretched onto her lips and she felt maybe, at least half of the heavy feeling in her heart lift. "How have you been?" she asked, "Where have you been?"

Claire walked to the middle cars. She couldn't believe in just a short little while she would actually be at Hogwarts. She couldnt' wait. She looked around at all of the people in the compartments, not knowing any of them. She settled for an empty one and set her things down and watched as the other students passed outside.

Cale chuckled and hugged Evolette back, pondering her enthusiastic greeting. Perhaps it was because they hadn't talked in so long, but usually didn't she have some sort of clever greeting? He had expected some sort of remark about how he hadn't seen her since last term, but instead he got a hug. Not that he was complaining. He loved hugs! He just felt that something was...off with Evolette.

"I've been good," he said with a smile. He didn't want to bring up the fact that he was a little sad over this being his last year--he was still trying to maintain the mentality that if he didn't think about it, it wouldn't hurt so much when graduation day came. "Just kind of lying around the house all summer doing nothing...but it feels good to be back on the train and back to school," he admitted with a chuckle. She'd probably think he was a big nerd for that one.

"Well, last term towards the end of the year I was kind of focused on something else," he told her with a sheepish grin. "To be honest, I nearly failed herbology so I was kind of preoccupied with that," he explained. "So, how about you? Where have YOU been?"

James walked down the middle of the train and noticed a girl sitting by herself. He went inside her compartment and asked smiling, "Er, hello, may I sit with you?" He still wasn't great at this meeting new people thing, but at least he was trying.

So, Cale was glad to be going back to school? She wasn't so sure how she felt about it herself, but seeing as she had spent the entire summer with Terry, that would be a bit awkward now, so she supposed it was a good thing to be going back. To their separate common rooms.

She made a face when he mentioned Herbology. "Eh, that is not one of my favorite classes either." she agreed, wrinkling her nose. She hadn't been in danger of failing, but she might as well have been for all that she cared about it.

Then something occurred to her, "Wait." she said, her lips turning down in a slight pout, "This is your last term isn't it? My little boy's all grown up." She thought about patting his head, but knew better than to mess up his hair. What was WITH everyone leaving her? First Nicholai, and now Cale? It was hardly fair.

Where had she been? No where in particular come to think of it. Their paths had just never crossed, and that is exactly what she told him, "Fate seems to like keeping us apart. You know the old saying 'Absence makes the heart grow fonder'? I can personally attest that it is true." She gave him a charming smile, pausing only for a moment to see if he was buying any of this. She couldn't very well mope around Hogwarts for the rest of the term, everyone would surely grow tired of that.

Emiliano stepped in the train, middle cars as they seemed. He was really nervous, yet ready to began a new year in a new school and begin his new life around the guys in England now. He took a deep breath and searched around for a compartment. He didn't care if he was going to travel alone or not. He just wanted to get to Hogwarts and that would be his joy of the day.

Finally an empty compartment showed up and Emiliano walked in, backpack in hand and ready to be opened. He sat and looked inside his backpack. A sandwich, his notebook (where he kept his song lyrics), his school robes and his wand where the only things inside that backpack. He took the notebook out along with a pencil and began to write, humming what could be part of his new song.

Reese walked through the train looking for an compartment.She stopped and back u a few steps.Woah.Cutie at 3 O'clock.She looked around at all the full compartments and decided she was going to sit with this guy.She opene the compartment and smiled."Hello.Can I sit here?"

Bye! I'll see you at the feast! We should sit together!

Cadence decided to leave the compartment to meet new people and said goodbye to Elizabeth, sad that they had not had a chance to speak.

Emiliano lost his concentration, yet made no upset face about it because he saw a beautiful girl standing just outside the compartment door asking if she could sit in. He nodded and smiled at her. "Sure...come in..." He said with that elegant Spanish accent and showing off that Saenz radiant smile.

He was nervous about everything at that moment, so he just stood quiet and didn't ask any questions.

Oooo,was that a spanish she heard.Reese likey."Thanks,"Reese said.She walked inside the compartment and closed the door behind her.She turned back around the face the boy."Uh-Hello.I'm Reese,"she said then smiled.

As Emiliano closed his notebook and put it back inside his backpack, he heard the girl introduce herself. He smiled at her and offered his hand for a shake. "My name is Emiliano, Emiliano Saenz..." He quickly said.

"It's nice to you meet you Emiliano,"Reese said.She watched him put his notebook back inside his back."Uh-Did I interupt your train of thoughts or something?"She sat down across from him and smiled.Gosh.This guy was so cute.Where has he been hiding?

"Nice to meet you, too...Reese..." Emiliano kindly said and smiled at her. Then he chuckled when she had mentioned about interrupting train thoughts. "Umm...no, don't worry about it, it's just something I do for relaxing, writing music..." He said, nodding his head and patting his backpack.

"You write...music?That's cool.I use to write music,but I stopped.But I still play my guitar every now and then,"Reese said."Do you play an instrument?"

Emiliano nodded his head and smiled at Reese. "That's nice...just don't leave writing, you always get new ideas out of new life experiences..." He suddenly said and looked away. He was now far from home and no chance of going back. But hey, he was now surrounded by many friends, mostly girls...who he knew he could trust. "Umm...yeah, I play the piano..." He told her.

"I might get back to writing songs,but I haven't done it in a while,I might not be that good anymore,"Reese said."Maybe I can show you some of my songs soon.I have to in them,though.I put them in a polder and hid them somewhere."She smiled and looked at Emiliano."Piano?That's awesome.My mu-"She stopped and sighed."I mean my step mother wanted me to do piano,but I didn't want to.I wanted to pick up guitar.I think it was the best choice I ever made."

"Oh...don't worry...I'm not either, this is just a passtime...hobby, as you guys call it..." Emiliano said with a chuckle. "It will be a pleasure..." He said, bowing his head, "Whenever you find them..." He said, smiling yet joking.

"I can also play the guitar, yet I prefer the piano. I play it since I was a little kid and it's the greatest treasure I have at home..." He said, remembering that little cabin where he used to be hiding most of the time at his house those days.

"I bet you are good,"Reese said with a smile."Yeah.Whenever I find them,"she laughed a little bit.She was going to find those songs.They're probaby in her suitcase or somewhere.That's the first thing she is going to do when she gets to Hogwarts.Find her music.

"You can also play guitar?Wow.You must me musically talented,"she said.She looked out the window then back at Emiliano."You knpw,I haven't seen you around.Is this your first time here?"

"Thanks...I don't mean to brag, though..." Emiliano said with a wide and playful smile. He chuckled again at Reese's comment about finding those lyrics. He sure needed to show his best lyrics if she trusted him to see hers.

"I needed to find something to do while I was not taking classes when I was little. The love for music is always there, you just need to excercise it and try everything to find what interests you the most..." He slowly said, as he half thought in Spanish, half in English.

Emiliano shook his head. "Yes, this is my first time in Hogwarts. I was in Durmstrang for five years, then moved to Mexico to live with family and this year, I came back to live with my parents now that they have decided to retire from their work after so many years..." He said, for the first time mentioning his parents.

Walking along the corridor Alexis was completely excited for this new year. She had just realized the fact that she was now heading in her seventh year, her last.

The thought alone made her get goosebumps. Making her way from the back to the middle of the train she peaked into compartments. Most of the ones at the back were already full. Finally finding an empty one the blonde jumped on the seat and laid down. For once she didn't have any pets were her. She had let TK go and he was off somewhere bothering innocent students and she would probably see Bubbles when she got to Hogwarts since she had released her outside.

It was finally completely quite. A perfect time to relax...

"...Okay relaxing is boring!" Lex realized after 30 seconds of lying there. Where was the fun!? Where was the chaos?! Was she REALLY going to have to spend the LAST train ride to Hogwarts in peace??!

Helena sighed and walked away from the door, seeing as she was being ignored by the inhabitants of Terry's compartment. As she walked futher down the corridor, however, she saw a familiar face and it showed in her expression; her eyes immediately turned their brightest blue and a big smile appeared on her face.

She walked over to Emiliano's compartment and knocked on the door frame softly since the door was open. Hey, Emiliano, you mind if I join you guys? Helena smiled, hoping that he'd remember her from the ice cream parlor they had met in over the summer.

(ooc: I probably won't be on until the last day of the H.E., so just pretend like I'm there. )

The sixth year was just walking past when she heard the familiar voice. She peaked her head into the compartment and found the blond lying on the seat. Opening the door and sliding inside she flopped down onto the seat across from her. "Hey Lex. Why aren't you out causing havoc yet? I was so sure I would have found you with some kind of candy and an innocent first year." she snorted.

Then again, she didn't even need a first year. Sam hasn't forgotten the time Alexis used her as an experiment before. Good times. Fixing her reddish brown hair into a messy ponytail, she looked at the Gryffindor with mischievous eyes. Should she push Alexis' buttons this early in the year? Nah maybe later...

"You haven't seen Vannah anywhere yet? Or Grizz?" Or Freddie? She bit her tongue from saying the last name. She didnt feel like getting cursed...yet.

Emiliano slowly turned his head to see outside the door windows. It was Helena, the girl he had met at the ice cream parlor. Her bright blue eyes and that smile made him smile as well. He nodded his head as she asked to walk in.

"Hello, Helena..." He kindly said and smiled, "how have you been?" He asked immediately, offering her a seat nearby. Then, he thought about introducing the two girls now inside the compartment. "Helena, she is Reese...Reese, she's Helena..." He said, pointing politely with his hand towards each one when he pronounced their name.
