Across from the main doors stand four giant hourglasses filled with gemstones. The stones in the bottom indicate the current number of house points each house has earned so far.

"Today is a glorious day for Slytherin.." Amanda muttered to herself, of course she was proud to see this. Slytherin was now ready to set its sights on Ravenclaw, and knock them down to third and Slytherin will be 1st where it belongs.

Ludo made his way into the castle through the great oak doors. He was very thankful for the wave of heat that greeted him after his cold walk outside.

He passed the hourglasses and smiled as he saw Ravenclaw's holding more gems than any other House. But something was different....

Hufflepuff.

Hufflepuff House had been breathing down Ravenclaw's neck to pass them in House Points. Now there wasn't a single point to be found. What had happened?

Professor Shackleton strolled down the stairs into the Entrance Hall, on her way to speak with Hufflepuff House, when she noticed something odd about the House points hourglasses. Stepping closer to them, Macadrian found it odd that the gold that usually gleamed so brightly from the Hufflepuff hourglass was hardly visible from the center of the Entrance Hall.

Approaching with a quickened pace, Macadrian's jaw dropped when she saw that Hufflepuff had no house points. Zilch. Zero. A big fat goose egg! Her eyes grew wide as a look of confusion danced around her face, followed by a look of anger. What could possibly have happened to make the deduction of that many points an acceptable punishment?!? And after they just lost Set Avis, which professor would be so cruel to crush their spirits even further?

Turning rapidly on her heel, Macadrian stalked off toward the Staff Room, her robes billowing out around her, a look of cold hostility in her eyes. Whoever did this was going to explain... and was going to hear what she had to say about it.

Lyra kept quiet as Professor Shackleton walked up to the hourglass. This was going to be interesting...to say the least. When the golden hair professor didn't say a word, Lyra knew the woman was mad. She pressed her lips together and turned back to Banana with a scared look on her face. Once again, she said...nothinggggggg.

On her way to the Huffie common room Sarah walked passed the hourglasses.
Glancing as she did so to check they were still within sight of Ravenclaw.She was going to keep walking until she realised something.Doing a double take,Sarah stood with her mouth wide open,staring at the place so many gleaming stones had been the previous day.
"Wha-- wha--..." was all she could say.
It was empty.Nothing to be seen except....emptyness.

Stunned into silence,Sarah watched as Professor Shackleton stormed off into the distance.
All she knew was that she didn't want to be the person on the end of her Head of House's anger.

She was talking about the fact that first Lupa, then Bunbury had been fangirling over him like he was a pop boy band star. "Erm, I dunno actually. A lot of the professors have been acting weird and somewhat...childish, have you noticed? Maybe that's why one of them felt the need to deduct...erm, a LOT of points from you guys," he suggested.

He watched as Shackleton, one of the sane professors in the school, noticed the hourglasses and then stormed away, clearly angry at the turn of events. "Well, judging off of THAT reaction, I doubt you guys will be in the negatives too long," he said with a grin.

Oh! This would make for a great write up in the Quill. Just stand and watch the faces of the students as they passed. One could tell who were Huffies and who weren't by their reactions.

She turned to Cale as he began to speak. "The only real change I have noticed is that Bunbuns doesn't were her beautiful shoes. She wears those cute pink boots but...not at all what a lady would wear." She shook her head then paused. "Who else is acting strange? I guess I'm just not paying enough attention to everyone and worrying about not getting hexed from....professors." Okay! She had not thought about it much but....

She looked to the other Huffies who walked up. "Have any of you seen anything...strange?"

"yush....Miles has very awesome an nummy hair." She smirked at him, knowing that it was going to get too him. How could she not think that Miles hair was awesome.
"Yes....He doesn't need to obsess over it.....Because his hair is already awesome!"

"I can't tell you. Then it wouldn't be a secret," She grinned at him, not willing to tell him at all. It wasn't even a secret really. She just wanted to wind him up.
"you what?" She stared at him, as he gave her some random piece of parchment back. "You signed it!" Vanessa giggled, taking the parchment, and pretending to hold it up against her heart. "Like oohh my I havee Terryyy Saundderrs autograph" She giggled. "Thanks Terry."

Shrugging his shoulders, Terry rubbed his arms nonchalantly, before sticking his tongue out at the Huffie. 'I wouldn't want a taste of you Vanessa! You're too ...midgetty for my taste.' Snort. He hastily back-tracked. Short people could still bite, right? 'Errrm, jokes, love. You're like a sister to me Vannie. Us together would just be ...awkward as hell.'

NYAWWWWW. 'We both rawk. Together.' He linked his arm with hers, sapphire eyes twinkling happily as he beamed down at her.

Chuckling at the thought of Miles being called 'cute', he looked at her curiously, tilting his head in question. 'How did he react to you calling him that, by the way? He must have thought it to be too atrocious a word for his liking, haha!'

Blinking in pure shock for several seconds, Terry unclenched his hands, realising a little late he had been squishing Vanessa's poor arm in his hands. Merr. 'WHOA. I think we actually are. How ...crazily insane is that?' A glazed expression floated over his face and Terry shook his head hard, attempting to clear his thoughts. This really was a little bit much for him right now. Belatedly, he narrowed his eyes at her accusingly. '....and how exactly, pray tell me, would being related to me be terrible?! Are you outta your mind?'

About to argue once more how his dark hair was blatantly more nummeh than Miles Parker's, his jaw dropped in shock as he thrust a finger out to point at the hourglasses. 'Ohmigosh! Vanessa! Did you just see that? About a bajillion yellow stones just flew outta your hourglass!' Whoa. What on EARTH had happened to gander that?

Ross finally snapped and instead of doing something that would get him in alot of trouble he used a spell he had read about . focusing on Jacks small pig tail he said a spell he read in a book and watched it grow alot longer.

Agie has....a snout. Professor's acting...like first years?" She sighed as she pressed her hands to her head. "And everyone keeps talking about Aliceeeeee." Okay! That was more of a whine but she just wanted to know...more.

"And STOP making his tail bigger!" That deserved a pouty face to the Hufflepuff she had no idea who he was.

"I have heels?" Vanessa grinned, whilst giggling. "Aww," Vannie giggled at his words. Too awkward? And like Kissing Hugo was any less Awkward. She was not going back there again. "Am I a good sister then?" She smirked at him, she was a awesome sister really. and boy did she know it.

"He doesn't like it?" Vanessa chuckled darkly, him not liking it wasn't going to stop her. It would probably make her do it more often. "I'm allowed to do it though," She smirked, that was the awesome advantage of being Miles' girlfriend. She could get away with so much.

"Woaahhh..." Vannie was truly shocked. How could they not have known that they were related. But surely their parents would have known? Odd. It was pretty cool too though. Because they were awesome people, and who better to be related than her and Terry. Although she feared for family reunions, with them two now....and the twins. Poor Family.

"Whaatt!" Vanessa turned around to stare at the hourglasses. "There like AALLLL gone!" She pointed at them, then looked back up at Terry. "what happened?"

Lupa? What is up with her? I heard she was trying to kiss the older boys and was trying to glue herself to the wall. she whispered as she followed him to the corner. Has she gone mental or something? And how does that explain your tail?

Lyra heard Jack's response to her question of the tail and then heard the Hufflepuff state his name. "Nice to meet you Ross," she said then looked back at Jack and watched him walk away. She may have been mad at him before but after what happened at the lake, she was all about protecting him now.

But something else caught her attention. She heard crying coming from the staff room that Professor Shackleton entered. Was the professor that upset? "Hey, listen," she said as her eyes looked around then back to Banana and Cale. "The staff door is wide opened. We can hear everything they are saying." OKay! That deserved a whisper because if they were going to hear, they needed to be quiet to see just what the professor was doing.
