Chris watched Hayden walk to the table and sit down. He moved down to were she was, so he was across from her. "Hello." He said smiling at her.

Hayden had been looking down at the reflection in her plate and smiled at herself. She heard a familiar hello and looked up. She smiled brightly at Chris,"Hello to you too." She laughed,"So you gonna miss the school over break?"

Paris giggled quietly into her hand as she watched Alexis carefully choose a Gryffindor Spirited Cupcake and bit into it happily. Alexis was such a spaz sometimes, but it made ya love her.

"Haha. I doubt you flunked your NEWTS, so don't worry, I'm sure you did great. Chocolate frogs, eh? Sounds just like you," she commented with a laugh.

"Final exams were pretty okay, I'm sure I passed them all....or close to it," she said with a grin. "And home. Hmm. I'm not really ready, but I guess I have to be. My family is going to travel to America!" She told her, excitement creeping into her voice.

He sat at the end of the Gryffindor table, purposefully away from any other students and slipped on his HD650 headphones from Sennheiser to get lost once more in the music he had been listening to the other day out in the yard. He filled a plate of food and bobbed his head to the music as he chewed and contemplated the memories the music resurfaced.

You're the only thing I like about me.”

To the various hotel rooms he spent his last summer and where he'd no doubt be spending his time again, longing for that company he'd been missing since the death of his childhood friend and where he sometimes stared up at the concrete ceilings of those rooms or out the slightly dusty window where he could look down at the streets below and find every sort of person imaginable. He would often spend those days, almost in their entirety, within the confines of the hotel rooms listening to music that would take him other places with other people from his past and in his future. Today, it was an eclectic mix of music that took him to the past.

The song changed. And so did the memory.

Chris laughed with her. "Umm yeah I guess. I mean I only have two years left." He said and sort of shrugged. "You going to miss it?" He asked.

Penelope nodded slowly.
'Yes, it's just hard to think that we won't be coming back again' she said. She looked around the hall before turning back to Chris.
'What about you? Are you sad?' she asked.

Hayden smiled,"Yeah I'm gonna miss it, but i'm glad I'm comming back. I have five more years here." She laughed happily. " I am however, going to miss all my friends. I'm going to try to convince my dad to let me spend the summer with my mum this time. That way I can go see my friends."

Chris looked at her. "Me? Well Im only a second year, but I am very sad to see friends like you , and Freya and Cale go. This term has been really great. Don't you think?" he asked looking around the Great Hall.

Daniel sensed the heavy hearts of everyone when he approached the House Table. He was also sad to see Tobi, Anna, Cale and the others go. He was also sad that school was over and he have to go on his own to their Manor at the Romanian country side. He sat besides the others and tried to smile, "Hi there."

Penelope smiled at Chris. He seemed really nice.
'Yeah, it had been a really good term' she said. She looked at Freya then back to Chris.
'At least you get to come back again Chris' she said.

"Yes! I know it." Chris exclaimed. "I know you were going to come back." He said smiling. "Yeah I mean that's the bad part of summer you miss all of your friends." He said nodding.

Chris smiled guiltily. "Yeah that is nice. I am really sorry you guys have to go. I would have really liked to get to know you Penelope." he smiled. "Maybe we could write to each other sometime. That's what I'm doing with Freya here."

Hayden looked at him,"How did you know I was going to come back? Can you see the future or am I just predictable for a second year?" Heather laughed as she joked around. It felt good to be a little unlike herself.

Cecilla flung her bag over her shoulder and gazed down the Gryffindor table looking for him. How dare he insult the artists on her playlist? There wasn't the slightest chance that he he had even listened to any of the songs she mentioned. Her iPod, unlike his, didn't work within Hogwarts grounds but the fact that he frowned upon the artists she mentioned was just too much. It wasn't the first time he had made her feel inferior but this was going too far. Huffing slightly at the sight of him in his little corner, she walked his way and finally concluded that he was insane. His enchanted iPod or whatever it may have been couldn't have been working. It was all in his head and she was going to go straight over there and...

"You!" she fumed, and laid her bag right in front of him before taking a seat. With a slight glare, she started opening the zipper of her bag and waited for him to finally take notice.

Tobi grinned. The Quidditch girls! He loved them so, he would MISS them so!

"Awe Paris don't worry, I'll write. Promise!" he assured her.

He turned to Alexis. "He Ma Captiainne, I'm so great! So glad to be done finals though. You're so right though, NEWTs were a killer." He was so glad the academic stage of his life was over he couldn't even put it into words. Sure he would miss everyone, but no more homework? No more finals? No more studying? Yes please!!!

"Hey guys, I need to go catch up with Cale - Thornton, not Newell - at the Ravenclaw table, I'll be back in a few okay?" he stood up and headed over.

Also the Ravenclaw table always seemed to get the better pie. He coudln't figure out how that always happened.

Daniel giggled as he heard Tobi's statements. He will surely miss that guy. He was the nicest guy so far he had ever met in school.

"Umm well I just guessed. I mean how could you not come back?" Chris asked. "But yeah you're also predictable." He said nodding but then laughed.

Hayden laughed."I'm not that predictable." She sighed."I don't even know what I was thinking." She grabbed a cupcake and looked at it."Theres probably no other place with house elfs that can cook this good. And theres probably no other place with friends like the ones I have."

Cale looked up and grinned as Reese came running up to him, giving him a big hug as she approached. "Hey Reese!" he said, hugging her back and scooting over to make some room. "How were you? Glad finals are over?" he asked. Pssh, HE sure was!

"Weird, to be honest," Cale admitted, looking up at the ceiling with interest, trying to memorize the weather it was portraying for today. This WOULD be the last time he ever saw it, he wanted to be sure he remembered what it looked like. "Nothing has really sunk in yet...I'm afraid I'm going to have a real panic attack once I get on the train," he chuckled. That would be SO like him to freak out once he got on the train or arrived at the station.

"Heya Tobi...weird, that was for sure," Cale said with a grin as his teammate and fellow graduating Gryffie joined them at the table. He grabbed a piece of bread and ripped into it, chewing and swallowing before he continued talking. "Soooo, are you psyched or sad about leaving this old place?" he asked with a chuckle.

"Heeeeey,Cale,"Reese said,smiling at him.She sat down next to him at the table once he made room.Siiiigh.This was the last time she was going to see Cale at Hogwarts.She wanted to cry over it,but she wasn't.Nope.Well,not yet at least. "I'm-well-I'm just good.Let's keep it like that.How are you?Are you sad that this is your last day at Hogwarts?"

Reese turned her attention off Cale when Anna came up. "Oh,hey,Annnnnna,"she said,giving her a little wave.She was about to ask Anna how she was until Cale when he asked about the finals. "Oh,I'm very excited that finals are over,"she told him. "But,you know,that Muggle Studies final was fun." She nodded at him.

"This term was great, Chris, but I would like to see more Gryffindor house spirit next term," she said. Anna was actually pretty much okay with the fact that Gryffindor didn't win the house cup. She knew in her heart that there would be times they'd win and times they wouldn't. What she actually really disappointed in was the number of Gryffindors who'd shown up to classes and made an honest effort with their schoolwork. She missed the good old days of house pride and spirit. Hopefully Chris would help her get more people involved for the upcoming school year. "Chris, you've got to really help me next term, you know. Gryffindor's lost a lot of its house spirit and pride, and we really need to gain that back. Congratulations on achieving third place, though! You really deserved it! Thank you for the compliments about my standing, as well."

More and more Gryffindors were steadily joining the festivities at the table, too. "Hey, guys!" Anna said, greeting Tobi, Paris, Alexis, Hayden, Daniel, and Rose. She giggled when Alexis referred to her as Mrs. Newell. "Heyyy, How did you knowww....?" Anna asked, trailing off just a bit and turning to Cale with a surprised look.

Anna followed Cale's gaze up to the ceiling. She knew that he must be memorizing every detail of the school he was leaving for forever and ever. "I want to go with you," she said, grabbing both of his hands. "I mean...I want to go with you and stay there and not return to school next year." She sighed and squeezed his hands in hers. "I'm going to miss you, Mr. Newell." Anna turned her head to the side and looked down at the floor, watching a single teardrop hit the ground. When she was sure no more tears would try and escape her eyes, she looked back up and Cale. "So, are you ready?" she asked, not speaking about graduation...or the train...but what would happen afterwards.

Penelope smiled. Chris seemed like a really nice person.
'Yeah, I'd like to get to know you as well Chris, we should write' she said.

"no,I'm not bidding goodbye forever I'm just sad..but yeah we can visit them in diagon alley.."Cedric said.."and I will enjoy this summer..I will also send you a lot of letters.."Cedric continued..

Paris giggled at Tobi, and waved him a simple goodbye. She'd see him in a few, as he said. "You'd better write to me!" She called after him.
With a large smile, Paris turned to Anna. Anna was a great person, honestly, and Paris admired her. She'd done soo much for Gryffindor house! She was a prefect, on the Quidditch team, not to mention the fact that she was always doing homework!

"Anna, Anna, Anna....hello! Boy am I glad to say you're not a seventh year, everyone's leaving me!" She said with mock pity ness. "But seriously, I'm sorry Cale's leaving and you're left behind." She said with a pout.

Danil gazed towards the direction of the one who said Hey guys, he smiled upon seeing that it was Anna. "Hi there. Congratulations on being the number one Gryffindor there is." he said.

He then sighed and said to the group, "Would you like to go on vacation?" he asked looking at everybody. "You see, I am an orphan and we have this Manor back in Romania where I plan to stay for the summer and all that there is to that place were sad memoris and my trusted house elves. So do you all want to come along?" he said with a big smile on his face.
