The instructions on the door read as followed,

For homework you will have three shots at the target, the better the shots**, the more points! As a bonus, after your homework is done, I will leave the firing range open for the rest of term! Feel free to come in and practice the spell, or any other spells, on the targets.
Please remember to place the protective spell on yourself before you start firing arrows!

Inside was a large room with a long table against one wall, and a bunch of targets on the oposite wall. On the table were safety glasses and parchments explaining how to cast the protection spell and proper safety in the Firing Room.
OOC: **= 'Better shots' means, like the previous homework, will be graded on creativity and success with the spell.
For this particular homework, it will be due in 4 days instead of the normal week. | |

After hiding for quite a while as she tried to spot the one she wanted to get soaked, Melina finally moved out of her hiding place. Two seconds after she did so, the first balloon she had got in class was soaring through the air towards one named Clifford Carden.

Snickering as Clifford got soaked, Melina grinned at Cela. "Thanks!," She giggled. Holding up another balloon, she looked around the room, wondering who she should attack next. She did want to toss another one at Clifford but it was better not to make him too angry or something. Besides, she still did have one balloon.
Grinning, she threw another balloon at the closest Gryffindor.

SQUEAK! Melly shivered as she felt the cold water on her body. Merlin, couldn't they have picked hot water instead? Still, half freezing or not, she couldn't help but giggle at the mere fact that she too was wet. However, she didn't laugh even as much as she did when Cela's own balloon made contact with Evangeline.

And she was all wet again. This time, however, she didn't giggle one bit for it had huuuuuuuuurt! "Ooooowww," She complained, rubbing her head with the palm of her hand. Whoever had thrown that balloon was a meanie! A big, fat meanie, mind you! And why was it that she wasn't surprised to see that Clifford was looking all smug-like?
Narrowing her eyes, Melly picked her last full baloon, and tossed it with all of her strength at him. That one would better hit.
