Agie stepped onto the Dueling Arena, with her wand at hand. She was waiting for Anna to practice Dueling. This was going to be fun!

Anna followed Agie into the Duelling Arena, a little nervous if she did say so herself. She wasn't the greatest at duelling, and as a matter of fact, she'd never done this before. She'd always just watched and then performed the required spell here and there. Never had she actually gotten into the arena to try an actual duel. She wasn't going to let Agie know that, though. She'd just get out there, do her very best, and hope she didn't end up in St. Mungo's for the rest of her life.

Anna closed her eyes for a moment, reviewing what Professor Rae had once taught her. "Wand out, other arm up for balance, loose stance, and weight on the back foot..." Satisfied that she'd prepared herself enough to begin, Anna opened her eyes and called out, "Expelliarmus!"

Agie smiled slyly at Anna. She had had a lot of practice with Kerry at this, however never in a formal arena.

Agie was twirling her wand between her fingers while she waited for Anna to take her position. Only to find her casting a spell right away. Agie quickly ducked, having no time to block it. "Jeez Anna!" She gasped. 'What ever happened to, hello! How are you? Lets Duel!" Agie smirked, while she straightened up.

"Langlock!" Agie called.

Wow. This wasn't turning out to be so scary after all. Duelling with Agie was actually pretty fun, and Anna could easily see herself turning quite competitive with this. Anna laughed out loud as Agie ducked away from the disarming spell. Her friend was clearly not ready for that one. Anna smirked at Agie and then said, "Fine. Hello to you, too. I'm doing well, and we already are. Better?" Anna asked, still smirking.

"Protego!" Anna called out, shouting out the spell to block the Langlock just in the nick of time. "Tarantallegra!" she called out, attempting to one-up Agie by causing her to dance like a madwoman.

"It's a bit late for that!" She laughed. "We're in battle now." She said evilly. Joking of course. She could never intentionally hurt a friend.

This time she was ready for it. "Protego!!" Agie clearly called. Agie was impressed! That one had a lot of power. "Densaugeo!" She casted. Oh what a sight that would be!

"Ha!" Anna called out, giving Agie an evil look. Of course she knew they were already in battle. What did Agie think she was doing? Sleepwalking? Anna made a face when she saw Agie block her spell with ease. Darn. Anna gasped when Agie casted Densaugeo on her. "Agie Brandywine! You would do that to a friend?" Anna jokingly asked. Oops. Maybe she should be worried about blocking the spell and not joking about it. Not having enough time to cast Protego, Anna dove out of the way, nearly stumbling to the ground in the process. "Arghhh! Rictusempra!" she called out.

*Gabben walked in to the dueling arena waiting for his cousin. As he walked in he saw two girls already dueling. He looked around not seeing Kyle or his cousins and shrugged. He then walked over and sat down.*

"Do you two mind if I watch?"

"I guess soo!" She said, laughing out loud at Anna's awkward was of blocking the spell. "You looked like a clown when you did that!" She said, nearly in tears and not even paying attention to the spell heading her way. So it hit her. Great! Like she wasn't already laughing enough. Now she fell to the floor in laughter as the tickles hit her. She still managed somehow to point her wand at Anna and call, "BABBLO!!!"


Oh no! Out of the corner of her eyes Agie saw Gabben. Watching her rolling around in laughter on the floor. "HahahahahSureeeehahahah!"

"Yeah, no kidding!" Anna replied, fully aware of how silly she must have looked diving around like that. Anna blinked and gasped a little when her spell actually hit Agie. She watched as he friend fell to the floor and began to laugh uncontrollably. Anna started to laugh right along with her, only not because she was hit by a spell, but because it was actually funny. Realizing Agie had casted a spell, Anna stopped laughing and focused on the duel. "Pro---..."

She was too late, though. A boy, evidentally a friend of Agie's, had started talking and ultimately distracted Anna. The babbling curse had hit her. Ugh. "Ethpehliiiiiiiurmas," Anna mumbled, rolling her eyes at her failure in casting the disarming spell.

*Gabben laughed watching the two and pulled out his wand. These two were funny, just watching Agie laugh made him laugh a bit.*

Agie's laugh was nearly uncontrollable. Her stomach was starting to hurt from all the laughter. "Hahahahahahaha!" She giggled at Anna's nonsense spell. Babble was funny.

Agie slowly raised from the ground, still laughing "Heheh hahaha hehehe. Incarcerous! " Agie just managed to say.

Anna glared at Agie, daring her to cast another spell. How dare she cast the babbling curse on her?!?! Just wait until she could speak again...she'd show Agie Brandywine a thing or two! If Anna could talk with babbling, she'd tell Agie that she deserved every laugh that she was escaping her mouth right now! Ugh. Anna kept her mouth shut, determined not to let Agie get a kick out of the spell she'd casted. There was really nothing to do but surrender. Either that or hope Agie would wisen up and cast Finite Incantatem. Anna waved her arms wildly at her friend, trying to convey the message that she wanted to her to hurry up, cast Finite, and get them both out of this mess.

Apparently Agie got the message. Problem was, she surely didn't cast Finite. Moments later, Anna lie on the floor of the arena, bound by invisible ropes.

She was going to let Agie Brandywine have it for SURE now!!!

*Gabben smirked as the spells went to there targets. These two were pretty good. He rested his chin on his hand and kept watching.*
"Could I play the winner?"
*This was going to be fun. He let out a barking laugh as he say Anna hit the floor.*
"Ha umm... sorry Anna but that was very good."

Kayla sauntered into the duelling arena twirling her wand in her fingers. She spotted Agie and Anna, having fun. She was about to take a seat and watch when she noticed Gabben and her face broke into a grin. "You can play right now against me if you like."

Now Agie was really laughing and it wasn't because of the charm which was on her. Anna tied up and on the floor was hilarious! But the fun was over. It was time to release Anna.

"Diffindo!" She said, Aiming her want at the ropes. "Hahahaha" She laughed againd after being tickled! Oh yeah that's right. "Finite Incantatem!" She said, and had instant relief.

"Ahhhh! Well that was fun! Great match Anna. We shall have to do it again."

Agie looked over to Gabben. "Are you sureee you want to duel me?" She grinned. "Oh, perfect. You can go again Kayla if you like."

*Gabben shrugged and stood up.* "Whoever, it looks like Agie just won though, so it's up to you two. Do you need a sit down after that big battle Agie?"
*He winked at her and folded his arms waiting to see who he would duel.*

Kayla smirked a little at Gabben, sounded like the boy was scared to duel her and rightly so. She looked over to Agie. "It doesn't matter to me, if you want to go again Agie, I'm happy to watch."

Mariel's smirk disappeared as Sarah easily blocked her spell. And how did the girl perform such a decent shield charm? That was pretty advanced magic... but it didn't quite deflect the spell back to her anyway. Mariel didn't question it further though as she was fairly good at them herself having some extra practice. "Not bad," she told the Hufflepuff with a respectable nod of her head. "Um, that one would've made your legs dance uncontrollably. Yeah, that would've been pretty funny to watch," she agreed with a chuckle.

Apparently there was no time for chatting as Sarah quickly sent another spell her way. "Protego!" Mariel shouted as she watched her own shield form and deflected Sarah's spell back to her. Then she quickly sent a jelly-legs jinx towards her as she waved her wand.

"I've already had my turn. It wouldn't be fair. I can always watch." She said with an interested smirk.

*Gabben shrugged again and walked up to his place and pulled his wand out.* "Looks like Agie's to tired Kayla, you get your wish. I wont hurt you to much."
*He smirked ready for some fun.*

Juniper nodded quickly at the Gryffindor girl. There was really no point in her not surrendering. She did not know the counter-curse herself, so it was not as if she could help herself and not surrender. So the sooner she surrendered, the better.

Even if that did mean accepting defeat. It was a perfectly respectable defeat; Steph was a sixth year, after all!

*He rolled his eyes and sighed loudly.* "Come on now girls who will it be? I'm getting old over here..." *He made a fake yawn and frowned. He was only messing around with the girls. Who ever he got to duel he knew he'd win. Kayla might be a bit harder but he could take her.*

"Oh don't get your wand in a knot Gabs, I'm coming" Kayla stood up from the chair and made her way over to where Gabben was standing. "And you can wipe that look off your face too" she took her defensive stance as she faced him. He thought he was going to win, well she had another thing coming for him.

Sarah nodded to her friend. "Thank you.I've been reading up on all the spells we might be learning in DADA.First time I've tried it though...actually I'm a little surprised it worked." As Mariel was evidently, she chuckled to herself.Dancing eh? Yeah that would have been funny considering I have no rhythm.
Before she could think or say anything else Mariels next spell hit her right in the midriff. "Oh hell..." she managed to mutter before her legs started to wobble.With nothing to grab onto she fell in a heap on the floor,giggling.
"That was a good one!," she applauded Mariel from her prone position before quietly saying "Finite Incantatum." hopefully so Mariel wouldn't hear.
"I don't think I'll be able to get up for a little while.." While rubbing her legs,to try and get some feeling back into them,she pointed her wand at the right angle to aim her next spell... "Petrificus Totalus!"

Mariel bowed her head slightly in gratitude as Sarah complemented her spell casting skills. Snickering as she watched Sarah wobble to the ground, she was surprised as Sarah quickly sent a spell after her. "Prote-" she shouted with her wand raised, but that's all the Ravenclaw girl could get out before the spell hit her in the shoulder. Instantly her whole body became rigid and she fell over backwards, grateful that the dueling arena was carpeted or else her fall might have hurt. Waiting for Sarah to come over and perform the counter-curse, she had no choice but to concede defeat as she could neither move her wand nor speak any incantation.
