Ruby smiled "yes the points are making me cry so trying my hardest" she smirked at the older Slytherin and said "we can only used what we did in class right?"

Freya removed her side bag and placed it on one of the chairs nearby, then layed her heavy cloak over it. "That seems to be the safest bet. Just as long as nothing is too dangerous." 'Pfft...right.' Freya took out, not her cherry wand, but the flame maple one and strode out to the dueling floor. "If you would like to go first, be my guest." She readied her stance and prepared herself just in case.

Ruby nodded and layed her cloak over a chair and took her wand out of her pocket and twirled it around her fingers "thank you " she bowed and then sent the older Slytherin a Jelly-Legs Jinx

Freya had just started to lift her head up from returning the bow when she saw the younger student cast a jinx towards her, 'Little imp...' "Protego!" The spell rebounded off of her shield charm and hit the far wall, though with almost undetectable noise.
'Fine, we'll play a litte rougher.' Freya fixed her wand on the girls chest and cast a Stinging Hex towards her, the force of it had pushed her back slightly. 'Blasted wand...'

Ruby spotted the spell has blasted her backwards she looked shocked she saw the spell was heading towards her "PROTEGO" the spell bounced off her like it had when she had when the Professor sending her one she thought for a moment and sent her a bat bogey hex

Freya raised an eyebrow and merely flicked her wand thinking, 'Protego!' and deflected the next hex that came towards her. 'Knew she'd be using this one next.' She watched as the last last hex she herself had cast soared off and struck another wall, narrowly missing another couple dueling. She made a 'tsk' sound as she considered what to use next, 'Oh...why not...'. Freya sent a Knee-reversing Hex to the girl, 'Maybe seeing her walking like a flamingo would brighten my mood.'

Ruby noticed the tsk noise she made and smirked "Protego" and the spell bounced off her my millimeters and she smiled she sent back a Canary Transfiguration Hex

Freya laughed and cast her shield charm, but it was odd.... There was a bang sound as the hex was deflected and hit another floating object; most likely a stray insect or something. A large cloud of yellow feathers drifted down towards the ground and landed gently.
After a slightly annoyed and confused look, Freya made a sweeping motion and the feathers flew out of the way as though blown around by a strong gust of wind. 'Okay, that was all good fun.' She sent a Backfiring Jinx towards the younger Slytherin and waited patiently.

Ruby watched the feathers float down and wasn't really concentrating she saw a spell heading towards her and shouted "Finite Incantartum" she sighed quietly and smiled and sent her the Stretching Jinx

She chuckled and blocked the jinx with another shield charm, and recognizing the spell, "Oh please. I don't need any more stretching, dear." Freya said and glanced up at the clock in the room for a split second. "One more sound lovely for you?" She didn't even wait for a response before sending a final spell towards the little kid, a Finger-removing Jinx. 'She needs more practice than myself after all.'

Ruby smiled and replied "Protego" and then sent her the Trip Jinx she looked at the clock herself and smiled

'Fine...suits me. Finite Incantartum', the spell died off before getting halfway to Freya. Her right eye twitched slightly, but she had to force herself not to cast a curse, 'Hexes or Jinxes Freya, not both or worse.' She briefly remembered what Kapoor had sent towards her, Freya braced her wand arm with her left hand to keep it steady and sent a Hair-thickening charm towards her opponent. 'Suppose Kapoor thought he would be funny...'.

Ruby thought she would be cleaver and send her opponent a spell ahead of time and sent her a Impediment Jinx at the same time that the other spell was coming towards Ruby..............

'Oh that was freakin' brilliant...' Freya thought sarcastically as the two spells collided in a stream of blue and gold sparks, then fizzled out and drifted away. She sighed and looked over to the girl, who was still a good twently feet away. Freya nodded her head a little bit, since it was foolish to bow one's head completely in her opinion, and then walked over to her things that were still laying on a chair; the match was clearly over, and time was running out. She swung her heavy cloak over her and put her bag straps over her right side, before buckling them in place.
With another glance to the clock in the room, Freya acknowledged the first year again, "It's been fun." 'Just work on your stance...' She thought to herself at the last moment, but thought it would be rude to mention it. 'Oh well, Noor is waiting.' She placed 'her' wand safely inside her cloak pocket and with her long stride made her way out of the door. 'Such a lovely way to spend the early afternoon.'

Oh no... Copernicus had warned him about that pout, as if he didn't already know it was one to shield your eyes against. He suddenly found himself wishing for Truebridge's shades of awesomeness.

Oh, it was no use. "Fiiiiine." He pointed his wand at the brat Cela's leg's and muttered, "Finite."

For his mercy he was rewarded with AAAAAAAAARGH! FLAMING BANDAGES! FIRE OVER MY HEAD!

Tobi abandoned wizard blocking techiniques and scuttled out from under fiery menace.

"Celaaaaaaaaaa!" he whined. "How can I block you when you aren't sending normal hexes at me? Densaugeo!" He fired the teeth elongating hex in her general direction, just to do something, Cela seemed to be much better at this than he was, so to his thinking, something was better than nothing. And it might buy him time to figure out what to do with the burning bandages.

Cela let out a little teehee before rolling over and pressing herself flat against the ground, the tooth growing hex missing her by the tiniest fraction. It was good being small. "You want a normal hex?" Cela stood up and flicked her wand at Tobi's feet, "Duro!" She aimed the charm at his shoes with the intention of turning them into stone. Fun!

"Tarantallegra!" She added before humming a few bars of 'I'm in the mood for dancing'. It was so nice of Tobi to go easy on her like this and give her a chance to play!

Ana walked into the duelling arena, droped her bag on the floor and walked into the middle of the arena taking of her wand. She seated waiting for Melanie to start the duel.

Cam looked at his poking finger again and then gave it a wink and soon realized that he fell in love with his poking finger and loved it more than anything. Not anyone though, there was still that lovely, lovely Anna. While thinking his usual unusual thoughts, he heard a voice. It was a familiar voice though since he knew he heard it everyday. It was the voice of Jake and so he went out of his day-dreaming to feel a great stinging pain on his ankle.

"OWWWW! Ow, ow, ow, ow," he tried to walk forward but walking forward with a hurt ankle... it hurt like super bad. "Ya know, you could've at least said if I was reaaaady!"

He was forced to go on the ground and rest his ankle while his left knee was on the ground. But he tried not to cry this time. EEEEHH, but it suuuupahh hurts.

But he didn't want to really get stung again so he quickly said the incantation for the Bat-Bogey Hex and at the same time made an X-formation with his wand.

Tobi jumped in the air saving his shoes from assault. But he didn't land in time to block the next curse.

Oh no! Of their own accord, Tobi's feet started moving forward and backward in six-step-for-eight-beat-rhythm... He thought it might be the Mambo.. I must look ridiculous.

Tobi had had enough. No more mister nice dancer. While he danced, he again pointed his wand at Cela face and cried "Obscuro!" if what he'd read about the charm had any practical value, assuming he hit his mark (and that was the big one, considering he was more of a theory person when it came to wand work,) Cela wouldn't see his next shot coming.

"Langlock!" He fired a sticky tongue curse immediately after. Not that he didn't like to listen to her, but the less she could say, the harder it would be for her to curse him, and he liked that idea.

All the while, his feet kept doing their little dance: left foot forward, - right step - left back - pause - right foot back, - left step - left forward - pause. Repeat.

"Yay!" Celandine applauded and in her excitement at Tobi's awesome moves, she was hit with the blindfold curse. Quick as a whip Cela cast a general shield charm, not really able to target it properly like in class, since she couldn't see and all, "Protego!" The shield dissolved as soon as the langlock hit it and Cela attempted to pull the blindfold off with one hand while she listened carefully to the tap tap of Tobi's feet.

She shot the jelly fingers jinx at Tobi and continued to tug at the blindfold.

It worked! It worked, it worked! Tobi was so jubilant about his Obscuro Charm working, (even if the Langlock was foiled) that when Cela's curse came flying at him he was totally unprepared. "Prot-ARG!" The curse hit him square in the left hand, and as he is left handed, that is quite a problem. his wand clattered to the floor.

forward- spin - back - step - forward, pause.

This is not good. Tobi dropped to floor, gropping for his wand. the result was something that resembled the lovechild of a House Dancer and Breakdancer, he could only look more absurd if someone provided a soundtrack. Perhaps 100% Pure Love by Crystal Waters?

Tobi did some complicated low steps to the floor, and then tried to slid across to grab his wand but that hand was the jellied one, so it didn't grip very well. it flew out of his grip and rolled behind him so (mostly because his feet told him too,) a sort of very bad side roll/cartwheel, his jellyfingers caused it to look very sloppy indeed, and snatched up his wand with his right hand. Knowing it wouldn't work very well from his right hand, his first concern was getting the use of his left hand back.

"FINITE!" he cast upon it quite desperately. Perhaps slower than it normally would have done, his left hand regained its solidity.

He was still doing House steps, and it was really hard on the knees, House apparently was really low to the ground and had lots of long movements intermixed with quick ones.

Tobi switched his wand to his left and pointed it a Cela's ribcage. "Rictusempra!" Maybe the Tickling Charm would distract her while he got rid of this dancing hex.

He was now doing these funny kicks were he turned his legs outwards and brought them back down....

Cela couldn't quite figure out what Tobi was doing, not with the stepping and tapping and... was he breakdancing? She couldn't see but she could hear the swish of material on the ground, accompanied by the occasional clatter of his wand...

OOOOh wandless! Cela did a little dance herself before getting down to business and pointing her wand at the blindfold. Just as she was about to cast finite, she was hit by the rictumsempra Tobi sent her way. Through her giggles and the almost painfully ticklish charm, Cela managed to spit out the incantation that had been on the tip of her tongue, "Finite Incantatem!"

Zomg.


She took a moment to catch her breath, enjoying being able to see again, but not the after effects of a sensitive ribcage-- regardless of how short lived it had been.

She flicked her wand at him, sending the impediment jinx and a stunner in quick succession. "Impedimenta! Stupefy!"

Then she did a strafe and barrel roll combo, which had no point. But she did it anyway...

Tobi's feet were busy doing the Roger Rabbit when Cela's jinxes came his way, but his hands were free, so it really wasn't a proper Roger Rabbit, but Tobi didn't know that, nor would he have cared, at the moment all he cared about was not getting cursed further. "PROTEGO!" he bellowed casting a small focused shield, blocking off her impediment jinx with ease, but he could feel it weakening as the stunner hit it. It held through it, just barely.

"Muffliato!" He cried training his wand on Cela's head again, hoping that he could hit her with the Muffling Charm and dull her hearing a little. It might give him the element of surprise to some degree. He followed it up with a quick Tongue-Tying Curse, and it was a good think it was quick, because his feet had decided to switch genre's again.

No sooner had Tobi cast the Tongue-Tying Curse, but his feet decided they fancied trying disco.

I wish I had let that stunner hit me.

Ross walked up to the Dueling arena and looking around he said "Anyone here want a Duel?" as he found a seat and sat down

This time Cela got her shield up in time and in focus, deflecting the muffling charm precisely as she stood up from her super duper cool divey roll thing. Focused though the shield was, it wasn't particularly strong and it disintegrated a moment too soon.

Unable to get another shield up, Cela's tongue twisted uncomfortably and it became almost impossible to speak, "Goo huh Tohee!" There was no way she could cast without being able to clearly speak the incantations. Hmm.

Celandine stripped the gloves off her hands and slipped her wand over her ear before making a charge at Tobi with her electric-shocky hands outstretched, ducking, dodging and twisting to get closer to him and hopefully avoid any spells he sent her way.
