"SHE'S WHAT?" Kayla screeched and then quickly looked around to make sure no-one else was around. "Oh over my dead body she's going to do that." Bloody hell, Celandine Toussaint was going to put her into an early grave, for the love of Merlin...volunteers! "I can understand why this is upsetting to you, Plymouth being your brother and all. Although I still find him a little icky nobody deserves to be treated that way." Oh when she got her hands on that girl...ugh she couldn't even do anything to her otherwise Nico, would throw a fit. Oh Maddox, was going to have to be told of this straight away. "Who are her volunteers? Has she said?" Kayla looked at Cope and gave him a sympathetic look, "Don't worry there is no way I am going to let this happen." |
I'm for bed! Thanks, and I'll respond tomorrow. "So you think maybe... she's serious about volunteers? Even though she has a boyfriend?" So maybe if she started talking about kissing again, he could just... except for PLYMOUTH. No, Cope... bad brother! "Please don't mention this conversation to her. I think she maybe meant... volunteers to share about their own experiences." Lies. All lies. |
"Well I don't know. I mean this is a first for Cela, boys I mean and well she likes to make sure she has researched everything so that whatever conclusion she comes to is the right one." Oh but this wasn't some experiment like climbing a tree or judging a moving staircase, these were people's feelings she was about to mess with. Kayla gave Cope, a skeptical look before speaking. "I won't say anything to her but I will be keeping a closer eye on her from now on." |
Miranda wandered nervously into the Dueling Arena, sticking close to the wall. She slid onto a bench, and pulled out some parchment and her quill. As long as she had to do this whole dueling thing, she might as well watch for a bit and learn all she could. Watching the duels taking place, she took notes, looking around nervously every few minutes. Eventually, she was going to have to put the parchment down and find someone to duel with. |
Miles walked into the Duelling area, a tad nervous that he was going to fight his petite, fragile girlfriend. She would be fine, she was strong, independant, and it wasn't like he would hurt her, because hopefully, she would use the shielding charm like the clever Huffie she was. Siigh. |

"Ready then Parker," She grinned at him, as she pulled out her wand, and looed up at him. |

"Okaayy," She called back to him, a quick smile on her face, before she became all serious. "Locomotor mortis" She pointed at her wand at miles, as she spoke the words clearly, would Miles' sheild be able to stop the attack? |

And then he stopped shaking. "Thank god." Miles sighed. He went back to his normal stance and grinned. "Nice one Vannie, d'you want me to whip one at you now?" |
Quote:
"Suree!" She grinned at him, before preparing herself to produce the shield, it would be embarrasing if it failed now. |

"Owned," She smirked to herself, before grinning at Miles. "Good one," She nodded, before quickly moving her wand, so that it was pointing at Miles, and she cast a babbaling charm. Sneaky alright. |

Her shield wasn't that good, as she started to feel a little confused. "ermm.....?" She shrugged, confused at what spell to us. "I umm Oooooh!" She smirked, glancing at Miles. "Petrificus totalus" |

And so it gave way. "Aww man!" He yelled as he hit the hard floor. Miles moaned, and decided to stay on the ground for a few more minutes. |
Quote:
"Are you okay?" She asked, staring down at him. Surely he would be okay? She'd only thrown the body binding curse at him. |
Quote:
"I think you might have won that." He smirked. |

"Protego!" She screamed. This time she was just in time to have the spell bounce off. "Aquamenti!" |

"Protego!" she yelled. Too late, she fell to the ground, unable to think or do anything what so ever. |
Anna stepped into the duelling arena and rolled the sleeves of her robes up just a bit. She and Cale had come to the arena to complete a duel they had to do for their Defense Against the Dark Arts homework, and Anna couldn't wait to get started. She'd only duelled once before, and she'd lost to Agie Brandywine. Hopefully her second time would be a charm, and if not, then she seriously needed a duelling tutor. "So, you ready to fight your own girlfriend?" Anna teasingly asked Cale, turning around to see if he was ready to begin. "You know, I feel sort of weird duelling against you. I've grown used to always being on your side. Ahhh, well, though. Homework is home, I guess..." |

"Um... no. I think I'm okay, just a little dizzy. You win, nicely done Barry. I'll put it in the log." she said as she got up VERY shakily. |
Banana <33 Cale smirked as he too rolled up his sleeves and pulled out his wand. He was half tempted to see what would happen if he battled her full force--after all it WAS Anna, not just any other girl, and he knew she wouldn't take it too seriously if he gave it his best shot to beat her in the duel. "I was BORN ready," he told her with a grin as he walked to the opposite end of the arena to get himself prepared. "I'll let you go first...you'll need every advantage you can get!" he joked before getting in the ready position. |
