Elizabeth relaxed when Robert said he was fine. That was good, since she was fairly certain neither one of them had supplies for if he had actually hurt himself. But then she laughed when he asked about what kind of cat she really would have wanted. "I guess you have a point there. But my brother's cat definitely fit his name." She watched as he started to pet Bella, and heard her start purring, then tilted her head a bit to one side in thought. "Yeah. Actually, ironically, since it was last term, she had ran into a compartment that held several of the other prefects from last term. So I was gonna have to meet them anyway," she then said with a grin.

As she heard the door open, she glanced at Bella, who seemed perfectly content with being petted and hadn't noticed the noise, then looked over at the doorway as she heard Mari's voice. Smiling, she said, "Hey. And yeah, I guess this summer was pretty crazy." She paused as she then watched Mari sit down close by Robert, who had now picked Bella up, and discreetly slid the door to the compartment closed again with a foot. "You think this term will be less crazy that the summer was?," she then asked Mari with a grin as the girl's attention went back to her.

"Oh, well that is good." Standing up she looked around. "Well I do not wish to leave my things here where anyone can get to them. I am going to go and look for my friend Mariel." She lugged her things down from the rack after sticking Tundra back in her pocket. Then feeling slightly guilty she turned back around. "You can accompany me if you would like. I do not wish to leave you alone again." She hoped he would come, she knew how it felt to be alone and it wasn't a good feeling.

Making her way down the hallway she looked in on several windows and spotted Mariel. Opening the door she gave a bright smile. "Mariel! I thought I would never find you! Is there room for one or two more?" She gave a polite smile to the other girl present, she didn't want to be rude and invite herself in. She glanced behind her to see if Kevin was with her.

Kevin followed Lasca down the hall and smiled when she stopped at her friends compartment he didnt know whether he was going to stay or not but it was better than being alone

Mariel watched as Nigel and Aramis rolled around together and looked up at the sound of the compartment door opening. Smiling brightly at the sight of Lasca standing in the doorway, as well as a young boy behind her, she said, "Sure, c'mon in! I was hoping you'd be able to find me, it gets really crowded. I wasn't able to find any of my friends last year."

Getting up from her seat, she walked over to the doorway to offer her assistance. "Do you need some help with your things?" she asked. Then, turning to the boy who seemed quite shy, "Did you want to join us?"

After dropping her enormous bag off along with everyone else, Jayne Ingino headed towards the back of the train to Hogwarts. She hoped that Cayden would show up soon, but if not she would figure something else out. As long as no one else sat with her... Not a people person should basically be written across her forehead. Especially these people. None of the faces looked farmilliar to her. Honestly, she missed MacAlister's students; she missed her friends. Suprising.
Finding a free compartment, she slid open the door then took a seat and crossed her long legs at the knee as she waited.

Mari nodded, folding her arms across herself demurely as Robert spoke to her. " I was trying to remain in conspicuous. I guess it worked," She said, pushing her hair back over her shoulder. She smiled as he picked up Bella and then a bit more as the cat rubbed her face against his hand. " I think she likes you." She said, watching and laughing slightly.
Mari shrugged. " I don't know for sure, but I think so. I'm going to try and avoid Kayla as much as possible because nothing good comes of me being around her. Ever," She said a little emphatically. She smiled and then laughed a bit. " Of course, things will be very quiet now that Asteira isn't going to be here either. She looked at Elizabeth. " Have you heard from her at all since we were all at Diagon Alley?" She asked lightly.

Kevin nodded to the girl and said "Yeah i hope you don't mind"

Chris half smiled to Amanda's comment. "Oh of course you are better then I can ever hope to be." He said sarcasticaly. And kept watching her fingers on the stings copying her every chord change.

She smiled. "Yes. It is quite crowded. This is my new friend Kevin. Kevin this is Mariel." She looked at the other girl, the one she didn't know. "I am apologizing I know not who you are or I would introduce you as well. Hello, all the same." She huffed out a sigh of relief and handed Mariel Apollo in his cage. "Thank you!" Mariel's offer of assistance was most welcome. She took her trunk and shoved it up on a rack. Finally, she glided to a seat and folded herself into it and left room for Kevin.

"So, how are you my friend?" Lasca turned toward Mariel with glittering eyes.

Chris smiled and then ate the chocolate from her. "It is really good." he smiled. "So can't wait to see that Common Room again." he said as he looked at her.

"Well, I taught myself to be able to play music by ear, it took a couple years but I managed to do it quite well. One of my friends played this lullaby for me and I played it by ear perfectly" Amanda said with a slight grin. She stopped playing the song and changed to playing the lullaby, it was just so sweet and relaxing.

Nate was ready for his second year at Hogwarts. Although his holidays had been amazing he was ready for Hogwarts. Sick of his parents fighting. He was know making his way through to the back of the train. He had his school uniform packed in his backpack that he DIDN'T forget this year. He also had his skateboard with him. And all the other muggle things that he loved. He straightened his baseball cap which was on backwards and fond an empty car. He wondered if he'd see anyone he knew.

"Not at all," she replied to the boy and gestured for him to come in. "It's nice to meet, you Kevin," Mariel said as Lasca introduced her. "Oh, sorry," Mariel laughed at how rude she was for not introducing her friend. "This is my friend Sarah," she said to the two newcomers. "She's in my year, but in Hufflepuff." Turning to Sarah, she added, "And this is Lasca. This is her first year."

Taking Apollo's cage from Lasca's hands, she set him down next to Pandora, then relaxed herself back down into her seat. Turning to Lasca, she said, "I'm very good, thanks. You?" Grinning as she glanced out the window for any sign the train would be moving soon, the young Ravenclaw clapped her hands together once shortly before saying, "I'm really anxious to get back to school. I bet you're excited too?"

"Aramis is a lovely name," she smiled as Mariel took the puff out of it's cage and placed it on her lap. "Of course I don't mind holding it...Nigel like's other puffs..don't you Nige," she said looking down at her pet and stroking him.

She looked back up at the mention of a wedding.Oh that's right,Mariel's dad was getting married.Seemed it had already happened then.Not sure what she should say,after all she remembered Mariel didn't quite like her new step-mother,she just smiled and slowly asked..."Went alright did it? The wedding I mean..."

It is getting rather busy, Sarah thought as she looked out the door to the corridor beyond. "We probably will.Looks like there will be a huge influx of new students this year," she smiled,still glancing at the crowd outside.

Sarah's gazing came to a sudden halt when another girl appeared at the door and spoke to Mariel and smiled at her.
Collecting herself she smiled back and answered "Hi,of course there is room...please come in!"
She moved along the seat a little,trying not to drop the pygmy puffs in the process,and settled by the window.
"Hello Lasca nice to meet," Sarah smiled as Mariel introduced her to the girl. "First year huh? You are going to have a great time! Hogwarts is fantastic!"

Kevin smiled at Marial and Sarah and said "Nice to meet you both, how was your holidays" Marial had said they were both second years

Lasca nodded her head. "It is nice meeting you Sarah and yes this is my first year." She smiled at Mariel as she clapped her hands. "Yes I am most anxious to be on our way. I hope we can leave shortly." She reached into her pocket as a small meow sounded and set Tundra free. The tiny white and grey kitten bounded happily around the compartment. "I am sorry. It seems he is just as excited as we are."

Looking at Mariel she inquired about the wedding. "Yes. I wish to know as well. Was the wedding...alright?" She knew Mariel did not favor her new step mother.

Lizzie laughed and said yeah me too, and the dorm.. I love it. And you know what? I found this cutest little corner in a forgotten corridor and it's really cosy and I sit there and write sometimes.. She smiled and ate another piece of chocolate. It was very tasty.

"Oh really where is this corridor?" he asked interested "Do you think i can join you sometime?" he grinned

Lizzie grinned at him. Sure. It's pretty close to the owlery tower.. But I've never met anyone there so.. It's a good place to relax and just think. She put the chocolate down on the seat next to her, she'd have to save some. So how was France really? she asked curious.

"Oh, summer was alright," Mariel said lightly to Kevin as she watched Tundra bound about the compartment. She wouldn't mind discussing more personal details with Sarah and Lasca, both of whom she trusted, but thought it best to stick with small talk around a stranger.

She nearly had to stifle a laugh as both girls tentatively asked about the wedding. She supposed she didn't hide her feelings about her new step-family. "Well the dresses were hideous, My sisters and I were meant to be bridesmaids, you know. Well except for M'Lynn, since she's seven months pregnant. She had been meant to be, um... what's it called? Matron of honor, since she's married already. But Lillian didn't think she'd look appropriate, so she chose someone else near the last minute. A friend of hers, I'd suppose." She grimaced slightly at the thought, then glanced over at Kevin. Mariel didn't mind talking about it too much in front of him, as long as she kept out the more personal details.

"Well, I survived, at any rate," she said with a chuckle. "I would have to say that Lillian was a definite bridezilla though." She had remembered someone using that term about her oldest sister at the time of her own wedding and felt it even more appropriate this go around. "She and Father are on holiday somewhere near France, I think."

Shrugging, she looked to her companions to see if they had any questions or anything to add on the subject. Or perhaps to change the subject altogether.

"Amazing!" He said thinking about it again. "We stayed at a inn like the Leaky Cauldren that was really close to the Eiffel Tower! It was so fun. And we got to go visit Beuxbatons Academy of Magic because my dad had to present his theory to the History of Magic Professor there. it was really nice but i like Hogwarts a thousand times better."

Ruby had stood there for several minuites and just glared at this girl and replied in a louder tone "my name is Ruby Sawyer decentent of the Malfoy's and you had better not cross me again" she looked around the compartment and her eyes were on fire as she spoke

Wow Lizzie said. I didn't even know there was a school named that.. I know about this other one, Durmstrang, tho. Or actuallly I think someone might have mentioned this Beuxb.. whatever she said thoughfully, then smiled and added I'm glad you like Hogwarts tho, cause so do I.

Reese boarded the train wearing a pair of old jeans with holes in them and a black shirt with white poc-a-dots on it.Her brunette hair laid swiftly on her shoulder as she walked down the hals looking for an empty compartment.She found on all the way in the back and went inside.She breathed in just knwing she was heading home.

Kevin nodded and said "Glad your summer was alright Marial, looking forward to go back to school"
