Ruby noticed that he looked at her hand and she wondered if he was alright, eventually he shook the hand and she replied "pleased to meet you Jacob are you a first year also?"

He shrugged slightly and shook his head. No I don't care that much. Jesper's always at Durmstrang or hanging out with his friends and I've never really counted on Becky since she's never been around much either.. He smiled at her encouraging words. I hope so. Otherwise I'll stalk you around school.. he laughed. Reaching for his bag he got some parchment, a quill and some inc and started to write. I'll just send this to mum, I promised her I'd tell her if I made it to the platform or not. I guess she hopes I won't so she can continue with the home schooling.. He gave Lizzie a smirk and lowered his head over the letter.

Oh. My. Cupcakes.

"The whole point was that you kept out of it for a while," Jake groaned. "You know, calm down."

And then... oh for crying out loud.

"JACK!" Jake lost his temper. "You are just making things worse for yourself! How do you expect friends if you just bully people and pick on them. You don't know what Willie has done, to people alot bigger than you!"

Jake steamed. Jack just had to put his big foot in it. Jake's voice went deadly quiet for his next line.

"You shouldn't underestimate people, Jack. I mean what about me? I just screamed at you, you gonna deck me?"

Hehe... I love that phrase. Jake had heard it recently and became obsessed with using it.

"Just think, Jack," Jake sighed. "Okay?"

She looked around the room while the girl spoke, then gazed momentarily back at her with a worshipful smile. Statues should be erected in this girls honor. She was a godsend. Ok…perhaps a crazy one…why would anyone look at a little boy that way. Leah hadn’t looked at him too closely, but so far she’d not discovered a reason to be so afraid of him. Yeah he had a bit of a temper, but people were talking to him like they expected he’d explode soon.

“No I--” Her eyebrows furrowed as she stared at Jake. “I’ve only been on the train a few moments. I just meant that I’ve always sat in chairs like this…since I was little.” She explained. Had he really just asked that? Of course she hadn’t been on the train since she was little! She had to move sometimes…to go to the bathroom. To go to school…why would he think she’d never moved?

That was when a dark haired girl, who’d been standing in the doorway spoke. Leah turned towards her for a moment and glared as she asked Jake to sit in the compartment. This isn’t his compartment! It’s mine!! Mine, mine, MINE! How dare you ask him to sit in here? She thought grumpily, and turned away from her. The girl had already proceeded to ignore everyone in the compartment aside from Jake. Well. Someone has an admirer. She thought irritably. Some people’s CHILDREN! She shifted her kitten, and lifted it to her chest, then tipped her head down and kissed the top of the critter’s head.

Before long another boy showed up. Leah sighed irritably. What had she gotten herself into? Her blue eyes shifted to the window as she deliberately ignored the new boy. She wasn’t going to get into the middle of this. No way no how!

Lizzie nodded understandingly and smiled. I kinda knew you would say that... But if you want someone to stalk around school, I'll be on your list she laughed. When he started to write she nodded and said Sure, better write tell your mum at once, or she might keep hoping. Instead she turned to the other boy who had entered earlier. (ooc: Kaio) What did you say your name was? she asked friendly.

Elizabeth wound her way through the students in the corridor of the train toward the back, dragging her trunk in one hand, and carrying a basket containing a grumbling Bella in the other. Looking down at the closed basket, she quietly addressed the cat inside. "You can't be out when we're out here. You know you'd just run off again, and I really don't feel like chasing after you, Bella. So I'll let you out whenever we find a compartment." That I can shut the door of, she added in her head.

Glancing surreptitiously into the compartments as she passed, looking for either an empty one, or one with someone she knew inside, she suddenly stopped at a familiar figure, reading a familiar book. Stopping at the door, she smiled. "Hey Robert. Do you mind some company, or are you hiding out?," she asked.

"Actually Willie isn't scary" Jack smirked, his face suddenly fell as Jack's voice went silent "Why? you want me to deck you?" he asked as he got in Jake's face "Why should I think about this scamming little brat?!" Jack glared at Jake.

Winnie colored slightly, the freckles on her nose standing out in contrast. Accusing someone!!! UGH. What a way to make a first impression!! Being a massive idiot.

"Excuse me, please, then," Winnie replied. "It's just that-" That Willie's eyes are sometimes like lasers and sometimes like flashlights and you can't always tell who or what he is intent on destroying. "That I didn't know the whole situation. I beg your pardon, Jake, if I may call you so. I'm Winnie."

Her mouth opened in a round O at the culprit. At the one who was REALLY goading...pretty much everyone, it looked like.

"You're bang out of order!" she said in surprise. "Why would you deck-wait, what's 'deck'?" She pulled out a small notebook from her pocket. Must learn slang terms. "Is it a verb?"

She turned to the girl beside her AND THE KITTEN!! "Are you alright? You do look a little uncomfortable." She hushed her voice. "And you ought to be because this is a madhouse."


She said all this keeping one grey eye on Willie's heaving flanks.

Ruby noticed a girl in the corner having a argument in her head she looked at her and asked "are you alright?" it wasn't in the kindest voice she had but to Ruby she had asked that was all that mattered,

Kevin leaned against the wall of the train and sighed he hated being so lonely

Robert looked up when he heard his name and saw Elizabeth standing there. Smiling he shook his head, "Nope don't mind at all. Come on in." He closed his book, set it down on the bench and stood up to help her with her trunk, "I guess you could say I'm kind of hiding out trying to stay away from Kayla and Paris' little group." Taking her trunk he lifted it up into the overhead for her and looked down at the cage in her hand, "What do you have in there?"

Chris hauled his big trunk down the train corridor and went to look for a compartment to sit in. He saw Ruby, the girl from the Leaky Cauldren and waved hi. He then passed a compartment with the person he was looking for. He slid open the door and said, "Hello Lizzie you mind if i join you?" he joked. Hey then hoisted his trunk into the luggage rack and then sat down next to her and held her hand.

Willow, and her father, arrived on the platform in good time for the train leaving.

Nathan looked at his watch and then glanced down the platform wondering where Paris and Egypt were, his eyes landing on a couple of the boys who looked around Willow's age and he eyed them suspiciously. Nathan had become a endless worrier since his daughters hit their teens, scaring any teenage boy who dared to set foot in their home... much to the girls' distaste and annoyance. He looked back down at his daughter and placed his hand on her small shoulder.

She looked up at her dad and gave him a bright smile. “Don't worry, Dad.” She said softly. “I'll be alright.” She tried to reassure him, sensing his trepidation. He seemed more nervous than her, and she was the one going to the damn school and having to make new friends and get used to new classes!

Nate placed the tank on the ground containing Willow's new pet Chameleon, Godzilla, and crouched down so he was at her eye level... which wasn't very high at all. “I know, love.” He said gently, giving her a weak but genuine smile. She was always so positive and good natured about everything. “But it's a father's place to worry about his teenage daughters.” He reached in his pocket and handed her three galleons. “Here. For on the train. Your Uncle Liam tells me the pumpkin pasties are to die for.” The summer had been one of the best he could remember, with the whole family back home. He coughed, choking back his sudden stupid emotion. Bloody hell! Of all the places. He pulled his youngest daughter into an embrace. “Owl me if you need anything.”

Willow's eyes welled up. It wasn't like her dad to be over emotional, he liked to pretend he was all manly about things, like his friend Mr Warren, but Willow knew differently. She had an innate ability to sense emotions and atmosphere. She wrapped her little arms around him and hugged him back tightly. “I'll be ok.” She repeated. “I love you.” She sniffled into his shoulder.

He gave her a wider smile and ruffled her hair. “Yeah ...you too.” He replied, straightening up and looking down at the wee girl. He picked up her trunk and put it into the luggage car, looking back at Willow, he said. “You better get going. If you see Paris, tell her.. tell her to be careful with those chocolate bombs of hers.”

He handed her Godzilla and the two of them boarded the train. He decided not to wait around until it left. He felt a right divvy just standing there while the kids gawked at him out of the window. He waved at Willow once and started to make his way heavily to the exit, back towards Kings Cross Station.

Willow nodded and grinned, wiping her eyes with her hand. She made her way down the train and took a seat in an empty compartment. Taking Godzilla out of his tank and placing him on her knee. He slowly started to alter his pigmentation to match her yellow summer dress. She giggled as she watched him. He was an endless source of fascination to Willow.

Lizzie looked up just to see Chris enter and smiled widely. Oh I don't mind at all she said with a smirk, then happily held his hand as he sat down next to her. You happy about going back? she asked with a wide smile.

Everything was too much for Willie at the moment. A girl entered the compartment, making him stare at her with interest as if he were considering to feast on her. That wasn't what was running through his mind, though. He was thinking of how nice she looked like. She looked like Miss Priss so she must be her friend!

"I ain't done nuthin!" Willie exclaimed when she accused him of causing a scene. He was the victim! He was the bloody victim! She had no right to accuse him. "And I ain't doen nuthin' ter make 'er uncomfortable! I jutht found 'er like that, so you ain't gotta blame me!" He snapped at the older girl, crossing his arms over his chest.

He then turned his head to look over at Jake, Jacob, whatever his name was. "Ye got to nameth, eh? Ye a thilly fellar, ain't ya? Ye got two named." Willie sniggered. But then his expression was plain as he tilted his head at the boy who mention the guy he had bitten in Diagon Ally. "Ahhh that'th 'ith name. Well, he detherved it, 'e did."

The small boy gave a jump when he heard a familiar voice boom over him. He glared as he saw that it was Jack. Forming his small hands into fists by his sides, he growled. "Ye better get away from me, ye hear?! I'll bite ye, I thwear I will!" Willie declared, showing off his teeth, hoping that he would scare him away.

"yes i love Hogwarts, I can twait til the feast tonight!" he laughed. "So how have you been since we last saw each other?"

Lifting his head from the letter for a second as a boy entered the compartment, Marcus teasingly raised his eyebrows at Lizzie when the guy sat down next to her and held her hand. Hello there he said friendly, trying not to laugh. Lizzie looked so cute, but he just couldn't believe she had a boyfriend. This was would be amusing to watch..

After saying goodbye to their parents, Bonnie and her older sister Charlotte climbed onto the back of the almost empty Hogwarts Express. The compartment they chose had a clear view of their little sister, August, older brother, Daniel and parents. As they peered through the window, August climbed abord the train to join them with a teary smile; this was to be her very first term at Hogwarts.

Chris looked away from Lizzie to the boy across from him. "Sup?" He asked leaning forward to shake his hand. "Im Chris Potter."

Me too, it's gonna be fun to watch all the tiny first years Lizzie said laughing. I don't think we possibly were that small last year, right? They are so tiny! She glanced at him with a smile and said I've been ok, a bit bored but fine. Missed you of course, but mum wanted me to be home for a few days before leaving for the whole term.. What about you, what have you been up to the last days of the break?

Seeing Marcus smirk Lizzie teasingly held out her tongue in his direction for a second and then laughed. Chris, this is Marcus she said in a sheepish way with a grin, since Marcus seemed very busy trying to hide his amusement by continuing on writing.

Elizabeth smiled again as he said she could go in, then stepped inside, dragging her trunk behind her. She was fairly certain most people probably would think that it was overfilled, and she knew if Seth had been here, he'd probably joke about her having her library inside. Which wasn't entirely untrue, but that didn't make the Hufflepuff former prefect right. And since she didn't even know if he was going to be at Hogwarts at all, it seemed irrelevant.

Grinning at Robert's comment, she teased, "You sure that they don't have some sort of homing device on you or something?" She stepped back as he went to lift her trunk up, feeling a little sorry for him. But, on the flip side, he was way taller than her, so maybe it wouldn't be as much of a problem as it would have if she'd tried to do it herself. When he turned back to look at the basket she was carrying, she looked down at it for a second. "Oh, that's Bella. My cat." She glanced back at Robert for a minute, scrunching her nose apologetically. "She's a little mad at me for being cooped up."

Mariel had been right when she said the train was going to be packed. Lasca stood on the platform alone, looking at the giant scarlet train. Taking a steadying breath she made her way onto the train. She worked her way to the back looking in windows as she passed. She would look for Mariel later, for now she just wanted to get a place for her things. Finally, she came upon an compartment where a boy about her age was sitting. Opening the door she stuck her head in, "Are you minding if I join you, please?" She gave a friendly smile and hoped he wasn't saving the other seats.

"I was good." he smiled "my dad got called onto another job when he got back from China but since it was so close to school starting he took me and mom along with him to France for a mimi-vaction before the new term. And i broght you something." He stood up and reached inside of his trunk and brought out a light blue box with a bow on it. "Some of the finest chocolates in the world, for you."

Jack stared at Willie "Oh no!" he said sarcastically "I might wet myself" he said boredly "Gawd you look like a horse" Jack snorted.

“I’m ok,” Leah told Winnie with an uncomfortable smile. “I’m just not the biggest fan of large groups.” She explained. This compartment had quickly unraveled into insanity. All Leah really wanted was to run off and find Damian. She wanted everyone to stop yelling and stop picking on that Willie boy. This was ridiculous! She’d wanted a calm trip and she’d gotten this!

Why was everyone looking at Willie like he was crazy? Of course he was getting angry Jack had attacked him. He was allowed to be angry. They were causing this. Honestly! It was ridiculous and she was getting terribly sick of it all.

Blatantly ignoring that Ruby girl, Leah stood up and gave into her temper, which she almost never did. Leah was a mouse, she was the face that hovered in the back of the classroom…and she was happy to be so. She didn’t like attention, didn’t like confrontation…but this was getting to be too much!

“SHUT UP!” She yelled as Jake and Jack began to fight with one another. “All of you just shut up!” She glared at the Ruby girl. “This is my compartment, not his, and yes I do mind! I wanted a calm trip and instead I got all you idiots standing in my compartment yelling!” Her voice had risen shrilly, as if she were channeling her mother. Leah hated sounding like this. She hated yelling. But she’d rather do this than sit quietly in the corner for another moment.

“Stop treating Willie like some kind of time bomb! If he has done something to warrant it I’ve a good feeling it wasn’t without cause! If your just here to pick on him then get out of here! I’m sick of this!” She screamed, her quivering arms still clutching the gray kitten. Her blue eyes shifted to Willie. Maybe he was a time bomb. But he wouldn’t attack her if she didn’t do anything to cause it right? “Why don’t you sit down?” She suggested, her voice once more lowering to a normal volume.
