"Yes, mhmm, yes... and how do you feel about that?" Jake played along with what the totally idiot thing he'd just said made him sound like.

But he knew that would be stupid and, for once, kept his mouth shut on that matter.

"Erm... that was a tragic example of one of my rarely used jokes," Jake explained, biting his lip. It was probably the funniest one... how tragic is that?

And when the heck did I start saying tragic?! Jake let a bamboozled look cross his face.

Xander leaned back against his seat."Oh well you know." He shrugged slightly. " I can't help it... You know I'm glad I get to start the year off knowing at least a couple people before I found out you was transferring over I wasn't to happy about the idea you know. Definately gonna miss the sand." he admitted.

"You hope?" she queried cocking her head the side. "You are uncertain whether you are good or not?" Kayla teased and suppressing a small smile. "Are you looking forward to the classes or that you'll get to see more of Amanda?" okay she just had to throw that in. There's simply no fun if you can't embarrass your friends.


Kayla rolled her eyes at Amanda. "Please you would know if I was assaulting you...well actually you already do know" she joked hoping Amanda would see the funny side to it. "Well you better, just because Nicholai is not coming back doesn't mean he has stopped caring about his friends. And you know he'd want you to do your best."

She opened the package and looked at the bracelet inside. "Oh wow Amanda, this is really beautiful" she took it out and immediately put it onto her wrist. "Thank you" Kayla leaned over and gave the younger girl a hug. "I shall wear it all the time."

"Yes I do. Let's not go back there, that was awful." Amanda said honestly, shuddering at the thought. "I know, Nicholai told me that he wanted me on the top 5 point earners for Slytherin and that's what I intend to do this term, I don't care how hard I have to work for it, I'm ready to show that being one of the top students in the house is all that truly matters" She said, nodding,

"I'm glad that you like it" She said, returning Kayla's hug. "Good, well I just wanted you to have something the symbolizes our new friendship after what happened the past 2 terms" Amanda said smiling.

Zeke winked. "I'm not ALWAYS good," he said jokingly. "Well, I'm definitely looking forward to the classes. And seeing... everyone," he said evasively. He didn't want to embarrass anyone (including himself).

She nodded with a big smile and laughed a bit. Although she was having fun on the train she couldn't wait for Hogwarts either. After hearing Amanda's comment,she had to open the box itself. Whitney was mesmerized. It was b-e-a-utiful. "Thank you,thank you,thank you!" Once again,she gave Amanda a hug,bigger this time though. As soon as she let go of Amanda she quickly attempted putting on the necklace. She struggled at first but finally got it. "I absolutely love it!"
"Just super happy with my gift!" she almost exclaimed and laughed a little. She still couldn't get over the necklace. "What's up with you?" Whitney asked then remembered that Zeke was now a sixth year. She found it odd that she knew someone other then Prefects and Lima who were that much older then her.

Leeroy looked at her for a moment with a confuzed face. Then he thought for a moment. "I wouldn't know, I hadn't heard of magic until a few weeks ago." He smiled at her. "What house are you in?"

"You're quite welcome, I got that on a day that I wasn't playing a concert, so I just had sometime to relax and go shopping." Amanda said, returning Whitney's hug. She took out a Chocolate Frog and unwrapped it, taking a bite, merlin she needed the chocolate, it just made her feel all relaxed and sorta hyper.

"Yeah, nice necklace. It suits you." Zeke said sincerely. "Eh, not too much, just mentally preparing myself for next term, ya know?"

Allie looked over at the read-headed kid who seemed to know her. "Yes, I'm Allie." she said, with a slightly confused look on her face. "Hannah? Hannah Weasley, you mean?"
"I'm not sure." she said. "I'm kind of excited to start, but also a little sad. How about you?"
"How do I feel about that? Umm good I guess?"
Maybe she was in a theropy session. It would make sense, kind of, if he had seen her break down in crying in Diagon Ally about Astrid nto comign back. Did he think she needed theropy for that?
"Ohh I see now." she said, and the laughed a little. "It wasn't too tradgic, now that I get it."
She actually didn't get the joke. But she was always a little slow on picking up stuff like that. So it would probably come to her a little later, when they were on a completly ifferent subject.

Zeke nodded. "Yup, her. I was just curious who her friends were, so, ya know..." he let his sentence die and hoped Allie didn't think he was a freak already.

"No let's not" Kayla agreed. "It wasn't one of our finer moments" she chuckled. "Well see that you do because you know what he's like" ugh what was she saying, encouraging Amanda who wasn't even in her house. Honestly she should have been in Slytherin, she got on better with them then anyone in her own house.

Kayla nodded at Amanda. "Well like I said, I will wear it all the time" she looked out the window for a moment. "I wonder what the new staff is going to be like? I met one of them in Diagon alley and he seemed..."she thought for a moment on how best to describe Professor Truebridge..."different." That was all she could come up with.

"Oh really?" Kayla replied. "Well I guess you better keep your naughty behaviour to yourself then" she winked back. "You know, me being a prefect and all" she joked. Kayla raised an eyebrow at him and smirked. "Yes I'm just sure you are" not believing his last comment at all.

"So where did you transfer from?"

"Oh that's a severe understatement there Kayla." Amanda said, laughing and rolling her eyes slightly. "Wow..that definately sounds weird coming from you, I mean you're not even a Slytherin. Which I'm surprised about, you definately have many of the Slytherin qualities" She said honestly, but there had to be a reason Kayla was sorted into Hufflepuff and not Slytherin.

"Yeah... I've heard somethings, especially about this Professor Truebridge, I actually met him in the Leaky Cauldron when I was talking to some other guys and he definately seemed to have that whole superiority thing to him, I could just sense it, but.. that could just be me" She said honestly and laughed at that, remembering when he flicked a sickle into a glass when she was playing for Trey.

"It's gorgeous." she said ignoring the fact that that was rather repetitive. She'd never gotten something she'd loved that much. "Now I'll always have something to remember you by." she added with a huge grin on her lips. 'Just as long as I don't lose it.'
Assuming it was a compliment she said, "Thanks", and listened to his next comment. "Um, sorta?" Whitney supposed she understood. He was getting ready for what ever complications come with the next term. Or something like that. "I should be doing that too,I'm supposed to earn Slytherin tons of points this year." While saying this she remembered the deal made at the end of term feast with Raiden and Amanda to Nico. How was it that that boy kept popping up into her head? "And plus,it'd be nice to be a top earner."
Sad? "If you don't mind my asking,why sad?" Whitney wasn't positive if she meant sad to go back,or just sad. She knew all to well about being sad but she wasn't trying hard to push any thoughts of her father to the back of her mind. "I'm recovering I suppose you could say,so I'm super excited to go back,it should help me a lot. Plus, I get to reunite with old friends and meet new friends." she answered and nodded towards Allie,whom she considered her new friend.

Rian laughed. "Ahh, it's not so bad if I don't look out the windows," she joked. "And riding in a car's much better than riding on a broom, in my opinion. Armrests, metal frames, and airbags," she said with a determined nod.

"Well, that's what its meant for. I mean I saw that and I just thought to myself, oh Whitney would like this, so I bought it and yeah.." Amanda said, she couldn't believe how stupid that sounded when she had said it but, it was too late for her to change her words.

"I've actually been being homeschooled for a while," Zeke said. "All my siblings except for Hannah are under school-age, and so my parents needed some extra help with them, so I stayed home to help out,"

"Exactly, I really want to be a top earner. But I have a feeling Anna and Cale will beat me by FAR," he said with a laugh.

Zeke spotted Rian talking to someone not too far away. "Hey, Rian," he said with a wave.

Rian looked up when she heard her name, then saw Zeke wave to her. "Oh, hi!" she said, waving back. She motioned for him to come over, then saw that he was already talking to someone. She bit her lip and waved her hand again, this time dismissively. "How are you?" she asked him, her words going into a laugh at the end.

Then it clicked. In Jake's head, it made sense.

"It was YOU!" he shouted in glee and slight horror. "YOU were crying on DOMINIC DENTON'S shoulder! YOU were the one who I had to pray to Merlin so you wouldn't get EATEN by the guy!"

GAH! Of course! Her face was so familiar, yet he couldn't place it before. Trying to think of how he came to this conclusion, Jake stared at Allie. He wasn't quite sure at how loud he had shouted, nor what his tone was like, but he didn't really think about it. Then he remembered. Of course.

"Maybe you do need therapy," Jake bit his lip, pulling out a pen and piece of parchment (he liked to mix and match). "Want mine?"

He was half-joking.

Why did he seem to be linked to everyone Jake spoke to... evil boy...

Amanda noticed this whole conversation between Kayla and Zeke was going well, but she wanted to talk to him alone before she got to Hogwarts. She got up from her seat for a second. "Hey Zeke.. can we talk later, since you're busy talking to Whitney and Kayla?" She asked curiously and winked at him.

"I know so many people tell me that. Probably because my whole family line were Slytherins before my mother came along that is" she shook her head, sometimes she wondered if her grandmother had confunded the sorting hat or something.

"Oh he didn't act superior to me, we had a lovely talk about dragons actually. He was telling the wand maker this fascinating story and I just happened to overhear it. And then we got to talking" Kayla let out a little laugh at her first impressions of him. "I thought he belonged in a motorcycle gang when I first saw him...going to be an interesting year at hogwarts this year."

Kayla was impressed, it wasn't everyday you heard people sacrificing themselves for their families, her and Nico being the exception. "Wow that is really cool. I bet your parents are real proud of you. Well I hope you enjoy your time at Hogwarts, it's one of the best places on earth in my opinion."

"Well it will definitely work." Whitney stated with a nod. She couldn't believe how she'd started off with no friends at all and now she had friends giving her presents just cause. "It's great that you had fun on tour and was still able to buy presents" If she were ever able to last that long doing something like a tour she wouldn't have been able to get presents. "You're like wonder woman." she said starting off with a serious face but ended up laughing half way through.
'Aww' Whitney had missed Cale and Ana, of course. She couldn't wait to see them either. "Well,I'm sure they'd be pretty high up there,but top 10 or 5 is still really good." She was sure Zeke could get there if not the first or second top earner.

"Hmm that's an interesting family background you've got. I mean my whole family was Slytherins, I would have made my parents proud being sorted into Slytherin. But, unfortunately they never had the chance to see that, I mean I just wish I had people to take care of me and to just make me feel better." Amanda said sadly, bringing up her parents always made her emotional, but this time she held in the tears.

"Nice, well I mean, I was playing for this guy Trey and he ended up flicking a sickle into a glass beside me. I guess he thought that I was playing for money, which I don't need, but I'll take it anyway." She said laughing.

"I had so much fun on tour, oh I've meant to tell you about my last tour. It was super crazy, I mean I first went to Australia, some of the people in Perth had already heard of me and were absolutely psyched to get to meet me. It was definately intimidating, I mean I'm only 13, and I have these people almost twice my age coming up to me and telling me that they love my music and stuff" Amanda said, taking out the pictures and handing them to Whitney.

"Yeah, my best friend Astrid isn't coming back this year, and I really can't imagine Hogwarts without her, you know? But I'm gonna write to her all the time, and I've already made some new friends." she said, smiling. He facial expresion changed to a curious one when she metnioend recovering.
"Recovering, from what?"
"Thats cool. I didn't know she had a brother coming to the school this year." she siad."How is Hannah? I haven't seen her since like the last day of school."
All too quickly, Jake went from calm, to practically shouting at her over her little Diagon Ally situation. So he was there. But what he was saying wasn't making any sense..something about this Domninc Denton kid, and her crying on his shoulder. She did cry on this hufflepuffs shoulder, whom she kind of hated, was that his name?
"Oh...well....eat me?" she said. "Dom...WHAT?!"

Zeke walked over to Rian even though she'd made a motion like it wasn't necessary. "I'm pretty good," he said with a grin.

"Yeah, no problem," Zeke said.

"Thanks," Zeke said sincerely. "I hope it's everything it's cracked up to be. I mean, I went my first year, but I barely remember it. All I really know is what my sister's told me."

"Yeah, I agree. I'll do it!" Zeke said, making a wild hand motion like punching the air. He blushed when he realized what he was doing. "Reign it in, little buddy," he said to his fist.

"She's doing well. She's probably around here somewhere," Zeke said. "I haven't seen her since we left this morning," he commented idly.
