"Hi!" she said, smiling at the girl who just walked in. She had never met her before, but she knew she wasn't a firstie because she saw her in a couple of her classes last term. "I'm Allie. It's nice to meet you."

"OK, if you want you can take a nap. I'll wake you up when we are close!!!" Set said.

Jake looked at the cards and tilted his head. Odd.

"What's the point in them? What do they do?" Jake asked her. It all seemed like a money making scam to him... but then he didn't like chocolate so there was no enticement for him to purchase the dratted things. "Don't they just take up space?"

Someone else entered the compartment and spoke to Allie, so Jake decided to keep quiet. He didn't know this person, and was still trying to work out the big idea with the cards.

No, I don't want to sleep. I don't like to sleep. Cadence said, avoiding his gaze.

"Oh believe me, he isn't," Kiki said, her voice solemn. "Definitely make sure to stay out of Peeves' way as well. No joke." She laughed, then settled down her seat, realizing how truly exciting it was to be on the Hogwarts Express. She slouched in her seat, and relaxed. "I seriously need to sleep more. I wonder if there's a spell for that," She muttered.

"Umm...I don't know the point of them, exactly. They just come with the frogs as a collectors thing. I eat so many chocolate frogs, it made sense to just start collecting them." she said, with a shrug.

"Yes I am, its great that we're going back to Hogwarts, I need the break from being the rock star. How's your new Prefect authority working out for you Prefect Winters?" Amanda asked with a smile, she was just being a idiot now. Despite that her and Kayla were friends, since Kayla was now a Prefect, she only found it fitting to address her properly.

"Well, that merlin for makeup, that's all I have to say" Amanda said then laughed, still rummaging through her bag until she finally came across the box that she was looking for. "Wow, its kinda like mini Christmas here" She said chuckling at her own stupid comment. She handed Whitney the silver and green box, Slytherin colors of course and waited to see her reaction.

Zeke looked over and saw Amanda. They hadn't really seen each other since that time in Diagon Alley. "Hey," he greeted her with a smile. "How's it going?"

Kayla grinned at Amanda and pulled a piece of parchment from her pocket along with a quill and held it out to Amanda. "Here you better sign this, just so I can tell people I knew you when" she teased giving her a wink. She burst out laughing at the Prefect comment. "Oh it's going just fine thanks but please don't call me that, Kayla is just fine" she shook her head. Was everyone going to keep reminding her of her new position, she wasn't like Denton after all, where she felt the need to shove it into people's faces.

"Hey Zeke" Amanda said with a smile on her crimson lips. "Pretty good, I missed you." She said, blushing slightly. She didn't think that she would see Zeke again, but she was on tour the past few weeks, and there was always Hogwarts.

Amanda took the parchment and quill and signed it with her awesome signature. "Well, when I become massively famous, I'm buying a house and having a huge house party, and you'll be invited of course. I'm not going to forget my friends" She said and smirked. "Well that's good, fine I won't address you as Prefect Winters anymore, it definately sounds weird to me saying that" She said honestly.

Jake shuddered.

"Bleurgh," he shook his head. "Chocolate... Give me just a bag of sugar any day..." Like the bag I had this morning.

"So..." Jake drew the word out nice and long, trying to think of a conversation starter. "Tell me about you."

Oh. My. Snakeskins. Jake thought, mentally facepalming right there. Sound like a psychologist, why don't you?!

Kayla took the parchment back and looked at the signature and chuckled. "Been practicing I see" she said as she held up the parchment with Amanda's autograph, Kayla folded it up and placed it into her pocket. "Of course" she agreed. "I am the life of any party" she flipped her hair and then snorted. "Thank you, cause it sounds weird hearing it."

Kayla noticed the boy who had addressed Amanda and she raised an eyebrow. So this was the infamous Zeke she thought. She didn't say anything, she would wait for Amanda to make the introductions.

Zeke smiled shyly when Amanda said that she'd missed him. "You, too," he said. "You've been on tour, right?"

Zeke looked at the girl Amanda had been talking to with a shy smile. He would wait for Amanda to introduce them since they seemed to be friends already.

"Well I've been signing autographs quite a bit when I was on tour, so I had an awesome amount of practice" Amanda said honestly. "Well good, I despise anyone who brings a party down." She said rolling her eyes, at this. It was true, she'd been to a few parties while she was in Australia and there were people that ruined the whole party. "Well, I'm definately surprised you of all people, are a Prefect. No offense though" She said, biting her lip at the comment. "Oh, before I forget, while I'm on the subject of getting people presents, I got you a little something while I was in Canada." She said, pulling out a small black and yellow case, handing it to Kayla.

"Oh Kayla, this is Zeke" She said, introducing her friend to the guy that she liked. She hoped that this was going to go well and that she wasn't going to scare him away.

"Yeah I have been, I just came back from being on tour in Australia and Canada like yesterday, so I'm pretty exhausted. But, while on tour I was thinking about you, and I got you something when I was in Canada" Amanda said, rummaging through her bag and taking out a small case, handing it to him.

"Zeke, this is my friend Kayla, she's one of the new Prefects for Hufflepuff" She said, introducing him to Kayla. This was going to be interesting, she was just going to sit back and watch this whole thing unfold.

Allie giggled a little bit. It was a strange way to ask that question. Like she was in theropy or something.
"Well, Im a third year, Gryffindor." she siad, nodding. "And my name is Alexandra..but I like to be called Allie, because I like it better."

"Hi," Zeke said to Kayla with a small wave. "How's it going?"



"Sorry, I don't mean to interrupt," Zeke said. "But you're Allie? My sister, Hannah, told me about one of her friends named Allie." He didn't really know where he was actually going with this or why he'd even gotten the urge to blurt at her. "Er, anyway, I just wanted to see if it was you..." he trailed off, blushing a bit.

A tall girl walks through the corridors, looking for an empty compartment. She looks older, but do you know her? Spotting no one that she recognizes, she sees that the 3rd compartment from the end is empty, and slides the door open.

As she sits down, she ducks down and glances out the window, seeing that they were beginning to move, Liz sits down with a sigh. Opening her bag she takes out a bottle of water, her drawing pad and a charcoal pencil, and starts sketching Hogwarts.

Just as Whitney had finished speaking she saw Kayla enter through the compartment doors. Once again,Nico popped up into her head. 'Darn Nico.' she thought then laughed to herself. "I am actually,now that I've found Amanda." she answered smiling. "I haven't seen you in a long time. How have you been?"
So Allie was her name. "Hi Allie, I'm Whitney. It's great to meet you too." She now remembered having her for a few classes last term but she'd never actually met her. Whitney had just been saying that she needed to know more people. "Ready for the new term?" she asked,knowing she missed the school so much.
Whitney knew all to well what Amanda meant. Although she didn't wear it much,she knew how great of a job make up could do. I wont be able to give you your gift till we get to Hogwarts though. It's big....ish."she said giggled a bit. Then she saw something silver and green pop out of nowhere. All she could do was gasp and hug Amanda,she absolutely loved it. It was so pretty but she had no words.
Even though he was talking to Amanda, Whitney perked up when she heard that voice. It was the voice she'd heard in Diagon Alley. "Well look who it is." she said with a small smirk. It'd felt like forever since she last saw Zeke.

"Big..ish huh? Interesting. Well I can't wait till we get to Hogwarts now!" Amanda said,all excitedly. "That is a necklace I saw, its got the Slytherin serpent on it, and the house crest on back. I figured that you'd like it to show how proud you are to be a Slytherin." She said, and smiled.

"Oh, hey, Whitney," Zeke said with a grin. "What's up?" He was glad to see her again, he liked the second-year he'd met in Diagon Alley.

"No you can't go around ruining a good party"she agreed. "That would be a terrible crime." Kayla swatted Amanda playfully on the arm. "Hey!! Watch it there girl, you have to behave yourself around me now" she chuckled lightly. "But yes I know what you mean got the shock of my life when I received the letter from Hogwarts." She looked at Amanda in surprise. "Oh Amanda you didn't have to get me anything."

Kayla looked at Zeke and gave him a pleasant smile as Amanda introduced them and she snickered slightly at the look on Amanda's face.



Kayla moved over to Zeke with her hand extended. "Nice to meet you Zeke. I've heard quite a lot about you" she glanced at Amanda and winked before turning back to Zeke. "It's going pretty good, how about yourself? Looking forward to starting at Hogwarts?"

Zeke shook Kayla's hand. "All good, I hope," he said with a grin. "And definitely looking forward to this term."

"Help! A Prefect is assualting a student!" Amanda said, slightly loud then laughed at her comment. "I'll be a good little Slytherin so I don't lose points or get a detention" She said, honestly, crossing her fingers behind her back. She loved messing around like that, but now she was just pushing it in her opinion. "I know I didn't have to, but.. I saw this when I was just out on one of my rest days and I thought that you might like it. It's a bracelet in part Slytherin colors and part Hufflepuff colors, to basically symbolize the whole friendship with us" She said and smiled, she loved getting her friends gifts now that she had the money to.

Cadence got up and left the compartment to go and find her things and maye meet even more people. Although she was very happy with the friends she had already made!
