"Not really... I guess. I mean, I never really knew life with him," she said with a shrug. "So, its always just been myself and my mom," she continued with a grin. Well, I'm still sorry that you don't know your father. That's a wonderful owl, by the way. All of my stuff is up in the middle of the train in the compartment I was in at first. I suppose I'll go get it when I need to change into my robes later. She took a chocolate frog from Seth and opened it, looking at the card before putting in in her pocket. The chocolate frog wiggled to try and free itself, but Cadence knew better and held onto it tight as she took a bite of it. As far as competition, mostly it's between the Gryffindors and Slytherins, but like Set said, Quidditch is where things are really competitive. Set wants to play keeper! Cadence looked over at Leeroy. Oh yeah, that's right! Set, Leeroy wanted to know about Quidditch. I told him you could tell him!

Set grabbed a licorice wand and bit the end off it. "Quidditch is just awesome! it's basically like soccer and basketball, but on broomsticks! When we get to Hoqwartz, I can show you the real thing!" he was anxious to get to hoqwartz! "Speaking of changing into robes... I have to put mine on. I'll see you all later" he said. "Cadence, will you save me a seat next to you at the feast? Thanks, your a really good freind!!!!! Bye" Set got up and left. He didn't want to leave his freinds but he had to!

Then she agreed and nodded as Mariel mentioned the other questions likely to be asked of her. "Yep that is pretty much all I got asked last year too.It'll wear off after a while," she smiled.
"I'm the only witch in my family,so there was no particular house I was expecting.Slytherin sounds nice,though,Kevin," she said nodding in his direction. "I guess another Ravvie means I'm surrounded by smart people! Don't show me up for the idiot I am too often will you?" she giggled.
Sarah watched as Mariel fed the owls and it reminded her of Screech.She hadn't bought the owl with her this year as he has flown into a window during the summer and hurt a wing.Any message sent would have to be via the school owls...hopefully they didn't bite!
Then the door went again and a face appeared.It was Gryffie Boy from the flying lesson last year.Sarah remembered him...and his first meeting with Mariel.
"Hi Nathaniel," she said,smiling at him as Mariel introduced them all.She had met him before but she wasn't sure he remembered her.
Boy is this compartment getting busy!, she thought,looking round at all the people.
"We have to start moving soon...I don't think the train will fit anymore people!" she giggled looking out the window at the platform.She was trying to see if her parents were still there to wave to,but they weren't.
Too busy going off shopping I expect. Kevin smiled at Sarah and said "Yeah i hope we get moving soon cause i want to get to school soon"

Adrianna listened as the others tried to comfort Leeroy. She was liking the sound of Hogwarts more and more. A family at school, something she never would have expected. Her mother had mentioned how university had been amazing for her, but Adrianna didn't think that they were anything alike- until now.
Adrianna turned as Candace spoke to her once more. "Thanks! I'm sure Ebony would thank you as well, but he's a bit grumpy with all the moving," she said with a grin down at her owl. She looked at the candy that Set offered and gingerly took a frog. She had experience with this one, and knew of its movement. Quickly, she unwrapped it and took a bite so that it couldn't escape, savoring the flavor. She went to put the rest back in the case when she saw something else in the wrapper. She looked closer and almost screamed when she saw a figure waving at her. She blinked and looked up at her friends. "Um... I don't know if my eyes are playing tricks on me... but did that just move?" she asked, her face pale.

John looked for an empty compartment, but could find one, he was going to try the front of the train when he saw his friend he had been talking to earlier on. He opened the compartment and smiled at her "Cadence, do you mind if I join you?" He couldn't be bothered to look for his brother anymore, he had searched every part of the train but he couldn't find him anywhere. John was sure that Jack had gotten on the train, so he knew he must be around somewhere, but the question was were. He turned to Cadence and waited at the door for her to answer the question.
