"Good day, Reese," Jake smiled awkwardly. "So what year and House are you in?"
Jake really couldn't do small talk; he'd always loathed and despised it.
"Oh, bleurgh," Jake shrugged. "I never lie to stay out of trouble... I just, only tell them what they ask..." Jake looked at the girls. "Usually."
Cameron then mentioned not having seen Dominic.
"I know where he is," Jake reassured Cameron. "He's in the Prefect carriages... I was second on the train, and I got here early so I could look out. After the Prefects get spoken to, my guess is they'll disperse to the other carriages to catch up socially."
Then Jake randomly started flapping his hands, almost in distress.
"We shouldn't even be discussing it, I thought I told you that!" "Don't you remember, I've been here longer than you. I could know this person, and possibly help you if you gave me the chance. You can trust me." she rolled her eyes, firsties may be adorkable but there also stubborn.

After placing her luggage in the proper place, Lyra finally stepped on the train with her sidekick behind her. It was strange being back on a train she didn't think she would ever see again. "So where do you want to sit, Aggers?" It was as if she had a pet name for the ones she felt closer too than anything or sometimes it was just because she liked you and thought you deserved a worthy nickname.

Agie dragged her luggage onto the train since there was no other place to put it. "What happened to the luggage compartment?" She grumbled. "I couldn't see one." She looked at Lyra and noticed that her luggage was gone. "HEY! Where did you put your luggage?" She pouted. Was there something Agie had missed?
With a loud THUD. Agie dropped her luggage right where she was standing. "Oh well, someone can deal with it later. Maybe I'll get a house elf to come and get it. We have important business to attend to." She said with her bestest shifty smile. Her best friend asked the exact question she was thinking. "Well, I was thinking... Why sit in one place when there are soo many compartments. So many new compartments." Lyra would know which compartment she was talking about for sure.

She turned and looked at Set. Set, you are the best friend ever! She took a bite and swallowed it before smiling at him. She hadn't realized how hungry she was. You know, my mum told me once that when she was in school, girls used to Cadence giggled a little they used to fill Cauldron Cakes with She was overcome with fits of giggles, unable to speak.

No way that couldn't be true. Cam was probably hyperventilating in his mind, making a strange face. Denton... A prefect. For a second he doubted Hogwarts to be a good school if they hired that guy. If he was a prefect, then that would also mean more trouble for them if they ever got caught. They would need to be quiet and pretend nothing has ever happened. He was probably overreacting right now and was on the urge to scream "RAGHDOMINICAPREFECTRAGGHHH!" But he couldn't or else he'd be like a freak.

Oh and like my homework will magically be done because I sure wont be doing that." She was really laughing now. It felt so great to be back with her best friend. Someone who thought exactly like her.
Agie grinned even more once her best friend had read her mind. Slow she nodded with a sly smile matching Lyra's. "You know I do." She said, biting on her bottom lip. "Come on let's get a move on!' She grabbed Lyra's hand and started leading the way towards the middle compartment.

With that Cadence pulled a book out of her bag and curled up in the chair to began to read hoping that John would find his brother and that someone would be along to keep her company soon.

Willow brightened a little, although she would miss her tutu. With any luck, Paris had missed her ballet shoes and they were still in the bottom of her trunk. She didn't plan on wearing them around school. They were just there for sentimental reasons. “I'm not even a year younger than you, Paris.” She pointed out with a giggle. Though she did feel very much the younger sister, and she was grateful to Paris for always being there for her when she needed her.
She looked away, as Xander and Paris got all smoochy with each other, and out the window. Willow really did not want to be gooseberry here.
She looked back at Xander as he spoke. “Oh that is nice.” She replied with a small chuckle at the thought of their dad's face when he found out about this. You know, our cousin is called Xander too... well, Alexander, but people call him Xander. It was an unusual name, but she liked it. " It's Caden actually Xander is my middle name I just hapen to prefer going by my middle name." He tucked his cap out of the way into his pocket and shook his head a little to get his hair from behind his ears it just felt weird like that .
