The Back of the Train There's plenty of seating at the back of the train. Grab a compartment with your friends, it's time to head to school! |
Practically falling over in excitement, Jake boarded the train with his bag and belongings and found one of the compartments to stay in right near the very back of the train. He hoped his friend, Cameron, would turn up soon. But Jake now had the perfect oppurtunity to |
Lizzie made it to the train quite early this time, excited about going back to Hogwarts. Not spotting any of her friends yet, she decided to find a compartment and put her things there while waiting. |
Shana Walked slowely onto the train with all her belongings and looked for a empty compartment as near to the back as possible. The one at the very back was taken but the one she went and sat in was fine to.She hoped to meet some new friends befor the journey started becuase although she was a shy girl shana hated things to be too quite. |
Trey glided onto the train and immediately saw someone he knew. Well that was a lot quicker then in Diagon Alley. "Hey Jake, what's up?" he asked as he slid open the cart door and plopped down rather lazily on the seat across from him. His slouchiness was never apparent before, but it had been a long stay in Diagon Alley and he was too tired to care what people though. |
Barry boarded the train and looked for one of his freinds. He couldn`t see anyone yet so he watched his black cat crawl into a compartment and crawl into the lap of a passanger. He followed it and at the door of the compartment he said "Hey. Um sorry about the cat. He likes to run around. I think anyway" He hadn`t even named it. He was a new cat. ooc: Because I said passenger it could be anyone so if you want it could be you! |
"Hi Trey!" Jake cried out. "I'm good. Really excited. How are you?" Jake then actually shuddered in excitement, or anticipation. He knew that when at school things would die down, but the train would probably ALWAYS make him like this... And also... "I have some stuff planned..." Jake grinned, mischeviously. |
Amanda headed to the back of the train, her guitar case on her back and her owl cage, and trunk in each of her hands. She found an empty compartment, and closed the door. It was so good to be going back to Hogwarts, it would give her time to just relax from being on tour most of the summer. She put her trunk up above the seat and leaned her guitar case against the window, she opened her owl cage and took Belkin out, feeding him an owl treat from her bag. |

Chris then saw Barry walk into the compartment. He laughed and then looked at the cat. Then back at him. "It's not a problem Barry." Chris told him. |

Shaking slightly Leah finally stepped onto the platform. At her side were three men, her uncle, Blake, her father, and her little brother Seth. Leah barely looked at any of them as she absorbed the scarlet steam engine in front of her. She was about to leave. She was going to go off to school. She'd miss the birth of the baby, she'd miss Seth's birthday...she'd miss it all, because she was leaving. Still clutching a little gray striped kitten to her chest, Leah turned once more to hug her dad. The little kitten mewed in protest as she kept her head buried in her father's mid-section, but she didn't move for a good five minutes. "I'll miss you daddy." She whispered, and pulled back to look up at her uncle. "Watch out for mommy and Seth. And you promise to give Seth my present on his birthday?" She asked her uncle, eyebrows furrowed sternly. Blake laughed and nodded, once more promising her that he would do as she'd requested. "I'll even send you a picture of his face!" He added brightly. "Don't worry Lee, your going to love school!" He insisted and tousled her messy auburn hair. Leah sighed, and didn't bother to fix her hair before taking a step onto the train (after her father helped her get her trunk up after her. While she meandered through the hallways Leah struggled to pull her trunk after her, it was nearly as big as she was. One hand continued to clutch the gray kitten, and the other arm wasn't quite powerful enough to lug the heavy trunk. At the first door she passed Leah set the trunk down, and slid the door open, only to find that the compartment was already occupied. "Oh...I uh--" She mumbled uncertainly. |

"Yes, I think we can be friends. Let's have a fresh start," Jake suggested. "Jake Upstead, I used to be Jake Blackly, but now I use my dad's name." Then Jack smiled again and repeated what Jake had said. "Yes," Jake looked around. "Come inside, you could help my friend Cameron with a diversion later... it involves a certain Donnymick Dental." Jake snickered at the use of his custom nickname for Dominic Denton. True, they got on better now, but Jake had always loved revenge... |

A child's laughter echoed through the corridors of the train. Small footsteps could be heard in every compartment as they stomped their way from the front to the back of the train. The cause of this all was put on a young boy. A boy named Willie Crocker. With a grin and eyes that gave away mischief he intended to cause, the boy kept running and laughing. "Hooooogggwaaaaart-ttthhh! I'mmm gooiiinnnn teeeer Hoggggwaaaart-th! Weeeeee!!" |

Leah stumbled, and let her shoulder fall into a wall as a little boy came tearing past her, lipsing and yelling excitedly. Startled, she watched him make his way down the train. In the back of her mind she couldn't help but wonder if he was even old enough to be going to Hogwarts. He was shorter even than her! Furthermore, he seemed to be several years younger than he really was. If he was on this train that boy had to be at least eleven. Weird, She thought, and shook her head. A moment later Leah smiled apologetically at the people in the compartment, and headed on down the hall until she found an empty compartment. Leah slid inside, and pushed her trunk up against the far wall, as she wasn't nearly strong enough to lift it into the rack. Then, still cradling the little gray kitten to her chest, she sat down next to the window, and hugged her knees to her chest. |

"Good to meet you Jack Mosier," Jake grinned. Then Jack started mocking some kid. Jake knew that was wrong, but he didn't want to argue with his friend. "Hey, err, Jack," he muttered. "Just come in and join me and Trey, don't make too much trouble..." Jake had heard that this little |
Oh, em, SQUEEEEE!! It was a train! A REAL LIFE TRAIN! Poppy bounded down the corridor, just missing a couple of first years as she did so, acting much too hyperactive for one of her age. And she was sure that she'd put the wrong clothes on for January. Her small white dress was already slightly greying at the hem and her black slip-on shoes weren't doing too well either. Oh well. |
Willie stopped dead on his feet. The laughter ceased as did all the yelling. Instead, he stood as still as a rock. Slowly, he turned his head, looking over his shoulder. Green eyes darkened dangerously. This was all happening as it would in a horror movie where the monster reveals its teeth. Twitching, Willie suddenly threw his arms in the air. "Ye teathin' me ye little buggah?! I'll bite yer ear, if ye 're!" He practically yelled as he turned to face whoever teased him. Although, he froze once he saw that it had been none other than the boy who threatened to hit him. Oh crap. Where was Mister Hero when he needed him?! Quickly, as if his feet had skates on them, Willie ran off, opened a compartment door and jumped right it. He didn't notice if anyone was in, but when he turned his green eyes widened and saw this girl inside, hugging her knees to her chest. "Errr..." |
