Hearing someone behind her call both her and Cale's names, Anna stopped talking and turned around. She smiled politely, not wanting to give off the impression that she and Cale had been talking about some issues they'd had earlier. No use dumping their problems on someone else, after all. "Hey, Chris! Thanks for picking that up for me. I thought we'd picked them all up! Anyway, we're just about to start working on our Charms homework, so jump on in and we can all work together!"

"Ok, Anna i would love to help." he said smiling at the two of them. "So how have you been? I have been working my but off, doing homework." he laughed

Nathaniel had been wandering around a lot since getting out of his detention with BunButt. He still had those stupid pig ears and a tail to match. He'd rather be outside but it was way too cold for his liking. The boy couldn't wait for summer. He saw one of the Gryffindor prefects talking to another person from his house "Hello" he said to both of them but to Anna more specifically.

"Oh, thanks! Would you mind holding my Divination textbook high into the air?" she asked, pulling the book out of her bag and passing it to Chris. "I'm going to try and decorate the cover of it using multiple copies of the poster we received in Charms. I think it's pretty unique, and Professor Ashby should enjoy the idea." Anna hald her wand up and looked at Chris expectedly, waiting for him to signal that he was ready for her to begin.

Just as Anna raised her wand, she heard the sound of someone nearby calling out her name. She turned her head and saw Nathaniel, a friend and fellow Gryffindor, approaching. She hadn't seen him since Herbology class, and she would yell at him for losing the house so many points, but seeing as she'd just gotten into a fight---a real fight---with Professor Bunbury, she really had no room to talk. "Hey, Nathaniel! What's going on? I'm just trying to get this Charms homework completed. These assignments are really starting to pile up..."

"Sure Anna." He took her copy of the Divination Book, and pulled out his wand, "Wingardium Leviosa." he said having the book levitate just high enough for Anna to begin her work. "That really is a very unique idea, now that i think about it." he smiled to her

"Nice spell work, Potter!" Anna said, giving him a quick thumbs up sign before raising her wand a bit higher to reach the now-floating textbook. "Alright, prepare to be dazzled by the latest and greatest textbook cover..." Anna pulled one of her posters from her bag and held it flat against the textbook. "Aaaaadddddhhaaaeeeeerrooooooooo," she said, drawing out the spell as she'd been taught. As she spoke, she used her wand to trace around the edges of the poster, securing it flat onto the textbook. When she was finished outlining, she withdrew her hand and wand and smiled as she noticed that the piece of paper was now stuck to the book. "Oh, look Chris! I did it!"

Excited with her progress, Anna pulled a second poster from her bag and held it flat against the textbook, as well. "Cale, you better get started, you know. This assignment is due soon. Aaaaadddddhhaaaeeeeerrooooooooo," she spoke again, not waiting for Cale to reply. Once again, Anna traced the outline of the poster as she drew out the incantation. Removing her hand and her wand, just as she'd done before, Anna stepped back to admire her handiwork. "Oh, well I'm just a pro at this, don't ya think?" she jokingly asked the boys. "Four more posters ought to do the trick..."

With newfound determination and motivation to get the job done, Anna pulled a third poster from her bag. She secured it to the floating textbook with her left hang and outlined the edges of it with her right, wand hand. "Aaaaadddddhhaaaeeeeerrooooooooo," she said, giggling at how out-of-breath she was becoming. "Well, that's three posters stuck to the textbook, so three more to go. How's it looking so far, Chris?" she asked.

"Not seen you in a while. That detention was dreadful.Really it was." he said rolling his eyes. He looked at her wand "yea, homework is getting ridiculous.". He didn't know what else to say to her. He'd really never talked to her before.

CHris looked at it from all angles as he held the book aloft with his spell. "Looks good so far." he smiled encoragingly.

"I've been around," Anna said, turning to glance at Nathaniel briefly before turning towards her textbook once again. "So what did you have to do? I've never had to go to detention, but I hear they make you do weird things, like clean toilet bowls without using magic. That has to be disgusting..." Anna raised her wand to begin the spell, but then dropped it when she thought of something to else to say. "Why is it that I don't see you around often, Nathaniel? Where is it that you normally hang out?" she asked.

Anna turned and grabbed a fourth poster from her bag. "Thanks, Chris," she said, smiling at his comment. She pressed the poster hard against the textbook and then outlined it with her wand. "Aaaaadddddhhaaaeeeeerrooooooooo," she said, once again drawing out the incantation as she outlined. "Alright, it's almost done. I'm quite proud of the way it looks. The posters fit around the edges of the textbook nicely."

"Two more..." she said, grabbing a fifth poster out her bag. "After that, I think it should be fully covered, and that was my goal." Anna situated the poster in the bottom, righthand corner and then raised her wand to trace it's edges. "Aaaaadddddhhaaaeeeeerrooooooooo," she said, performing the charm and then stepping back to make sure she'd done it correctly. Sure enough, the fifth piece stuck nicely to the bottom corner. "It's almost done! I just have a tiny hole in the center." Anna dug the sixth and final poster from her bag, placed it directly over the hole, and then performed the incatation and outlining once again. "Aaaaadddddhhaaaeeeeerrooooooooo." When she was done, the textbook was completely covered in the posters they'd recieved in Charms class.

Chris lowered the book and caught it in his hands. "That looks brilliant Anna." he said turning it over in his hand to make sure it was completely covered. "Proffesor Dumont will love it!" he said smiling.

It was my first detention. I don't regret it either. BunButt is a nutter. She turned the two boys into PIGS and then that chick into a wolf and made us dig through a pit of mud. We were supposed to be looking for a key but it wasn't really in there." he said rolling his piercing blue eyes. He moved his hand through his black shaggy hair That whole thing was stupid. They are just boots. Ugly ones at that. She totally over reacted. It's all gravy though

"No, I'm fine. And this fellow here should be good as new," he remarked as his spell righted the suit of armor. He gave it a quick spit-n-polish with the corner of his robe and then stepped back. "Yup. Looks good. To the entrance hall!" he declared and pointed.

Dominic nodded when the Headmaster said he was okay; he wasn't about to argue with that statement. For one, Bontecou was years older than him and even in his worst rebellious stages, he knew better than to argue. Plus the man could easily have him expelled or something from Hogwarts. And to be frank, the fifth year was beginning to somewhat - in the smallest way - actually like Hogwarts. Maybe.

"Just like new," he repeated with a small smile. Nodding, the hufflepuff led the way to the stairwell that would lead them to the entrance hall. "So, what did you think of my poem?" He asked innocently enough; for both feedback and to avoid silence.

"I thought it was quite good. I just have one question: what on earth possessed you to write that poem?" he asked as they started moving again.

Sutis of amor. They werent exactly the most social spot in the whole castle. And thats just why Chase wanted to be here. He dint need people bugging him. He just.. needed to think.

He sat down in between two of the suits of armor and wtched as they seemed to flinch away from him. THey probably didnt want to get spots on thier shiny exterior.

Chase sighed and closed his eyes as he sat there . The image of Whit dead... it.. was creating some major mayhem in chase's brain. He couldnt stop thinking about it. then other toughts kept creeping up there.. what if they were moving too fast? What if suddenly she decided that she didnt love him any more? She was tired of him? What if he got tired of her? He shook his head a the thought and sighed restng his head against his knees. They were young.. She was twelve.. She had the rest of her life to pick who she wanted to be with. She could easily pick someone else.

A thought occured to him. He actually wanted her to find someone beter than him. Someone that would fit her better and wouldnt disappoint her. If she knew his past.. there was no way she could love him anymore.

Ohhhh suits of armour! This is exellent!
Miranda took out a little sign she had made, and this was a perfect place to put it.
Walking over to the suits, she wiggled the little sign with a stick where their swords are. Perfect!

Miranda had even stuck some yellowing leaves onto the sign.


And off she goes, grinning.
