Suits of Armor The castle houses several suits of armor but, this one seems to be a particularly popular place for meetings between friends. |
Damn those bloomin' suits of armor! Hugo was sprawled across the floor, cursing the stoopid hunks of metal to the darkest pit in hell. Scrambling to his feet, he kicked the suit of armor, scowling darkly. "Stupid lump of junk." He muttered, eying the metal foot that had been jutting in front of his path, causing him to trip. They were totally out to get him. "Yes, I know you can hear me and will probably tell all your shiny friends to ambush me in the halls but DON'T!" He muttered, eying the figure in dislike. Having paintings and statues that moved did have their disadvantages. Especially if they didn't like you. For example, there was a portrait on the fifth floor, which yelled and spat at Hugo whenever he walked past. Which was a tad rude, considering he hadn't MEANT to puncture a hole in the canvas. He's simply stumbled, and accidentally jabbed his wand through the picture. Merlin, they were so freaking grumpy! |
Trey turned the corner only to see what looked like a housemate sprawled on the floor. He watched partly in amusement as the boy scrambled up and kicked a suit of armor before shouting at it. "Oi," he yelled down the corridor. "You alright down there? Did the armor do anything to you?" He asked as he continued down the corridor towards the boy. |
Sneeze was walking through the castle and soon saw Trey. He was going to someone on the floor. "What'd you do to him, Trey?" Sneeze still hated Trey, but the past two years he hasn't bothered him. |
Just as Nancy had emerged from the Girl's Bathroom a deafening noise made her jump almost a mile up in the air and the third-year jerked around in the direction the noise had come from. Her blue eyes immediately fell on a boy who was glaring at one of the suits of armor and was apparently having a heated discussion with it. Uhm...okay. Taking a closer look Nancy realized that the boy was a fellow Slytherin. What was his name again? Something with H...Ha-, no, Ho-, no, ah, yes, that was it, Hugo. Smirking Nancy was just about to open her mouth to ask Hugo whether he'd hurt himself, and if he actually expected an answer from the suit of armor as two other students rounded the corner, one of which she recognized. "Hey, there, Trey." She said with a grin as she noticed the amused look on Trey's face at the sight of Hugo. |

"Nancy, hey, what's up?" I'm still trying to figure out what happened between this guy and the suit of armor," he said nodding towards Hugo. He then leaned in closer and whispered under his breath, "And between you and me, he was arguing with it," Trey said eyes widening slightly. |
Hugo glanced over his shoulder, wrinkling his nose at the three people who'd joined him. "Yes the armor did blimin' do something to me." He snapped at the first boy, eying him suspiciously. "What's it to you?" He was rather irritable it seemed, yet who could blame him! He'd been tripped by a hunk of junk! Pshh. Turning to the tiny little Gryffindor, he peered down at him. "Listen to the guy, he's a smart one. Move along!" He warned, running a hand through his golden hair, a scowl clouding his handsome features. Dude, it wasn't like he needed a freaking audience. So he'd had another argument with a suit of armor - so what! And great, a girl. Was he an animal at a zoo or something? Merlin! Hugo pressed his lips together in a hard line, ogling at the Slytherin girl. He couldn't remember his name, and didn't really care either. "Oh, it's you. Nanny, isn't it?" Whatever. "Oi, stop whispering about me," he grumbled, frowning at the Slytherin boy. Who even was he? "Dude, look; I've had a rough day. I'm usually fun loving etc etc, but these stoopid suits of armor have totally got it in for me. Serious." |
Slowly nodding at Trey's words Nancy glanced back at Hugo who was apparently not exactly too happy about their company. Rolling her eyes at the boy's words Nancy gave him a small smirk before replying, "Gee! Calm down, Hugo. I was just-" Desperately trying to find something interesting to look at? Glad I'd found someone who obviously was even more clumsy than I am? Nancy ended up saying, "-concerned about your well-being", though, even though, it was totally true but whatever. Her eyebrows raised as he finally addressed her and a small frown flashed across her face before she opened her mouth to answer, "Well, it's Nancy actually. But since you're apparently not hurt or anything I've got other things to do than arguing with you." Giving him a pointed look Nancy turned around and started walking towards the staircases. She had absolutely no idea what to do with herself now but there was no need for Hugo to know that. |

"NANCY! OI! NANCY!" Hugo called, skidding to a stop beside her. "Sorry I was er--" He paused, pondering what he actually had been. "Sorry I was...rude." There. He'd apologised; something he wasn't too good at. But he'd done it! |
Nancy stopped right at the stairs still contemplating over what to do now. Biting her lip Nancy started to twirl a strand of her dark-blonde hair around her finger while going through all the possibilities of where to go next in her head. Back to Common Room? No. Walking past the try-outs' announcement was definitely going to freak her out right and there, so no. Maybe she should go find Mariel, she hadn't talked to the girl since Diag- That was the moment Nancy heard someone shouting after her causing her to whirl around to find herself face to face with Hugo. Looking up at him the 13-year-old cocked her head slightly to the side while listening to his apologies. A smirk was tugging at the corner of her lips as she nodded in agreement and said mischievous twinkle in her eyes, "Yes, you were." Then after a moment of just watching Hugo with her eyebrows raised she added with a small smile, "It's okay, though." She wasn't about to make a grand fuzz about the whole thing. |

"Good. I know I seemed like a jerk but really...I'm not. You could say I haven't had the greatest start to the term," Hugo chuckled lightly, winking at her in a friendly manner. Quote:
"Basically...the suits of armor hate me. And you know they're enchanted, just like the portaits? Well. They've got it in for me, and that one," he jerked his thumb towards the culprit who'd sent him flying, "tripped me over!" |
Helena walked by everybody without giving any sign that she even noticed they were there. It wasn't long before she found herself by the oh-too-familiar suits of amour that she was well acquainted with last year. Two in particular were nudged closed to one another, so she fit her small frame between them and sank to her knees on the floor. Oh, what was she ever going to do without Jose this year? Helena's light purple eyes closed and she sighed far too audibly for her liking. |

Nancy winced slightly as another boy behind her suddenly addressed her taking about France and something called the Misfits. Huh? Misfits? Paris? Oh, Misfits! That was the moment her brain started working properly again. Yes, the revenge. Tilting her head to the right so Hugo wasn't blocking her view of Trey anymore Nancy hesitantly returned his smile before answering, "Oh, awesome. Great. Thanks." Okay, and now was the time to leave before she started babbling incoherent nonsense like she always did when feeling nervous or confused. Looking at the two boys Nancy gave them both a smile and said, "Well, I...uhm...gotta go now. It was nice talking to you. So, uhm...see you around." And with that said Nancy took a few steps backwards before with a small wave she almost ran down the stairs, away from the awkward situation. |
Sneeze was found himself now with more Slytherins than he could handle. "Just moody drama queens, that's what Slytherins are." Sneeze walked a bit forward but hid by the next wall to see what would happen. |
Helena stood up finally and stepped out from between the suits of armor. She ran her pale fingers through her brown, curly hair and looked up and down the corridor. Finally, she turned back towards the main staircases and walked off. |
Mari stepped into the corridor, a little bit unsure as to what had just happened on the first floor. Had she just agreed to some sort of double date..study session? She ran her fingers through her hair and turned towards Cayden. " So...I'm sorry about that. It seems that wherever I go, weird and awkward moments follow." She said, smiling at him apologetically. |

he chuckled a little bit as he felt like he was giving his sister a summary of a story she had already loved to hear over and over." Any other questions? Oh and she had red shoes i think...maybe they were green. she had shoes of some sort. they were the witches. Not the one who got melted, but the one who died by the house." he nodded a little as he think he covered it all. |

"I mean i understand if its a bit of a bad timing and all. its just i've wanted to ask you out ever since i saw you covered in chocolate." he stopped for a second as he then added," i didnt mean it that way, i was just saying your pretty cool since the moment i saw you and i've just wanted to get to know you better." He let out a nervious laugh as he snickered at himself. If teage was here he'd eat him alive. he moved his hand to his pocket as he then looked over at her." You dont have to if you dont like to because of whats going on." |
