What to do? That was Tanjiro's question running through his mind every now and then. Maybe talk to someone? He was full, and didn't feel like eating desert at all.

If there was something Evangeline absolutely could not stand was people disrespecting her boyfriend fellows Prefects. Unless they were Newell, and even then only if they weren't going too far. And this was clearly going too far. Goodness, did these girls have nothing better to do?
Like talk bad about the student how had lost the points! Duuuh.
She nodded when the girl's apologised but the frown did not leave her face. They clearly hadn't wanted to apologise and still thought they were right. Ugh. "You dont gossip over people who might easily hear it." She informed them, even though half of them were already looking the other way. She understood that, as firsties, they felt intimidated to be here and they the only way they saw to prove themselves was be horribly mean and act like lousy smarty-pants. But to people who couldn't hand a disrespect for etiquette rules, they had an obvious disrespect for them aswell.
Hmmm. Maybe Clifford and her should show them the wrong way into the Common Room? Bwahaha!

Paris looked over and saw little Theo. "Theo sweety." She waved at him and smiled. "How are you love?" She asked the little boy. He was so cute, she could almost put him in her purse and carry him around everywhere. And he was sweet, she remembered how he bought her ice cream in the shop and pulled out her chair for her.
She raised an eyebrow at her sister whens he sat down beside her. "Exploring, alone?" She asked her. She didn't like that one bit. This was a new strange place and she didn't want to think of her sister getting lost. "Oh it seems like I've been here for ages really, but I guess maybe 20 minutes or so," She said. "Yeah some of these younger students are taller than us," She noted seeing her sister's face. She had made peace with her height a long time ago, her sister still struggled with it because she wanted to be a ballerina, and no one wanted to see a really short girl preform Swan Lake. "Nope we haven't gotten a speech yet." She shook her head hoping it was soon. She was getting sleepy and hungry.
She waved at Poppy as she saw the strange girl walk into the Great Hall. She looked like she was in a haze of fog, well she always looked that way, but for some reason Paris liked her. "Poppy dear come sit over here," She smiled.

"Well it depends who you bump into I guess," he smiled. "I have a brother and a sister now. Nia is 12 like me. And my new brother is called Nathaniel. He is only little. And has a squidgy bit on his head. Mummy says I am not allowed to squidge it though. It makes his brain hurt or something. So I don't do it anymore." He laughed. It was really squidgy. Not like his hard head. "I grew this much," he said holding out his arms, rather overexaggerating things. "I know. We aren't the littlest people anymore. I am not going to play quidditch I don't think. I don't like it. I think I might try out though. See if it was just a bad experience."
Theo heard his name, and his ears pricked up. He searched for the voice, and saw someone waving at him. Oh it was Paris. The pretty girl. But not as pretty as his angel, Lyra. "Hello Paris. I am very good thank you. This is Hayden. She is a second year like me."

"Well, fine. I will." He hmpf'ed playfully when Evangeline whined teasingly and protected her plate. He sure didn't mind getting his own and added a pile of chips to his mountain of sausages. Hmmhmm. This was a guuurd feast. "No sausages or chips?" He asked curious now, head tilting to one side. Did that mean Evangeline really had told Mrs Green to make him bad food? EEP! "What do you normally have then?"

She figured that this girl must be new and was shy and she sorta knew what that was like.
"Hi there, the name's Amanda Lesalle, 3rd year." She said, with a smile to the girl. She liked to introduce herself nicely to the new students so as to not scare them away.
