" Aww Cheer up hun, can't be that much longer til there is food can it?"he asked. " Besides you were worried you wouldnt know anyone here looks to me like you know several people already."he said as he pushed his hair out of his face.

"Oh Yeeeah. We're just all 'one big happy family'." He sighed dramatically, hands in air pulling off air quotes. And why was he not feeling so hungry all of the sudden? Maybe with the fact that he kepted eyeing her drink. For some reason he felt he knew that wasn't no natural tea, but it was natural, alright.

A fragile hand placed at his thigh, he bared A small smile, intwining his fingers his hers. Cocking his head towards Cayden, A sly grin formed. "You don't. As neither do I." Oh yes. Lets not go to when and how many times Teagen had been in those positions. And Cayden pronounced it was A million times. That sounded about right. He chuckled. And they shouldn't be talking about this when his girlfriend being A few few inches away; It was rude and very inappropriate.

"Jeez. I only vanish for A few minutes, and you two are jumping on my back. What, are you A tag-team, now?" He pressed, brows knitted. "I could always bring the Parana out on my part," And boy, would she rip you a part. The nickname suited her to nicely, it was scary.

Vivi smiled and took another sip of her drink, making sure she kept her mouth shut. No one was to see her teeth. No, not now.

After a few seconds, she smiled to Teage. Yeah, she didn't need to hear the talk of Teage with other girls. Anyways, he would most likely not want to hear about her and centuries of being a Courtesan and dealing with crazy boyfriends. Anyways, she rubbed her thumb over his hand and looked over at Cayden. "Don't worry. We'll stay in the shadows so you can't see," she smirked, eyes glimmering.

Penelope looked up and smiled.
'Sorry, I just didn't want to get caught in the rush up here'. She itched her back and turned back.
'Good to be back isn't it?'

Had she gotten into some sugar? No. She shook her head. "I hadn't taken any because..." Why had she refused the junk food? "I suppose not dancing makes you want to dance?" In reality she had absolutely no idea why dancing sounded great. "Too bad I can't."
'Goody.' Yet another ickle firstie. "Hallo there!" she said laughing at herself a bit. Whitney found 'Hallo' rather funny.

She melted at his words. He always had that effect on her. She was still upset about that man taking points away from her for no good reason, but she would let that go. And she was really upset at the there professor just dismissing her like that. When Lyra and Anna were prancing up and down the staff table and no one was taking points away from them or telling them to leave. It wasn't fair, well at least she knew who the teacher's pets were early off.

"Oh I'm alright," She told him with a smile. "Oh yeah I meet a lot of people in Diagon Alley. And then you and Willow came along." That was a good thing that she knew people. She hated going places and not knowing anyone. Even though she made friends or enemies quick enough. "But I do wish the food would get here. It seems like ages since I ate breakfast. Ooo breakfast." She thought about the wonderful French toast her dad had made for her and Willow before they left for the train. A ride she was wishing she had never taken.

He had a point. if it was so blinding then their would be a lot of blind people around. More like this would be a school of blind people instead of all people with the ability to see.man that would suck."It would be a real shame to be blind." he said to him as he wouldnt be able to pick out the hot ladies. This would be a major promblem.

"Her brother?" was he serious?" If i was her brother would I be here without her?" Nope. he wasnt her brother. Gesh this guy was brilliant."Im not related to her man. We arent cousins, we arent blood related. We just have the same last name." he told him as he then thought about if they were. Gesh that would be a messy room to enter into. She was horrible enough. he didnt want to be stuck in a room alone with her."i'll tell you the same thing i told mari. I dont know her." at least not that well.

He just passed by the sarcasm and went straight to his next question." erh...sorta. I've never been here so i dont really know. Not really. Its been fun though. i like the people ive met so far." especially the pretty ones."How do you like it here?" he asked returning the awkward question.


he raised an eye brow at her when she said it was the point." Why didnt you just say that. Dont go little twist and turns with all your metaphors to say something simple. Its exhausting." he told her as she should just say it. he was different. it was cool with him. he snickered as she told him she was bored without him." I would think so. its cause im the la cream of the crop." he paused for a second as he thought about it."er...or whatever that saying was." he looked at her as she confessed her soul was dying." You werent going to die. Your fine. If you could be social...that would help too." He was giving it a max of three seconds before she shot that one down."you know i wouldnt let your soul die."

he stared at him as he said one big happy family."erh wait a minute. I think i should really think this over before you suck me into this adams family thing you got going on." he watched the two as they were staring at each other like they wanted to suck face. "Tag team?" he looked over at vivi as he let out a chuckle." I dont know. it could be useful. at least if i need something i know who to persuade." he had found his kryptonite. he gave her a shrug as he moved to take a drink. he was drinking as he coughed and started to choke. Bring the fighting duck. Heck no. Teage would ruin his stride."erh.." he coughed as he cleared his throat." No its alright. erh im fine."

Shadows? why not rooms?"Sure thing. Just warn me where these shadows are at so i know what places to be careful when im walking around school. Kayla is going to give me a tour of the school so i'll know where these 'shadows' are at when she walks me around." he moved to use teage's air quotes when he spoke.

"No it doesn't, please don't make a fool out of yourself here. You're a Slytherin remember? So you're expected to act like one." Amanda said honestly, she didn't know what came over her, but all of the sudden she felt the need to just act much more Slytherin like.

Trey came in through the opened doors and immediately spotted the Slythering House Table. He glided over towards it waving hello to Paris and Amanda before taking a seat. He hadn't gotten a chance to eat anything on he Express, so the food was calling his name. Hopefully that time would come sooner than later. His stomach growled a loud "hello" to the rest of the Slytherins at the table.

Amanda noticed Trey coming over to the table and she waved back at him. She hoped that he didn't see her little episode on the train thanks to Hurricane Camira and the shattering glass.

" Thats more than I know." He shrugged He could tell soemthing had upset her but he wasn't sure exactly what it was. He would ask her later. he hated seeing her upset about things even the small things. when she mentioned breakfast almost on que his stomach gave a low hungry growl and he realized just how hungry he was himself. he fished in his pocket thinking he might have something left fromthe train ride but found nothing. They were just going to have and wait. " Think it will be much longer?" he asked hoping it wasnt.

"Well I will introduce you to a few people. Trey, Kayla, Jack, then another Jack and his twin John. Oh and Ella, shes like almost my best friend. They are really cool and you have to know them." Paris told him. She didn't know how Ella would feel about Paris calling her her best friend, but her and Ella were like two peas in a twisted pod or something. She heard his stomach growling and hers joined in. That lovely French toast her dad made seemed ages ago and Paris was used to eating when she wanted to eat. "I don't know. I guess we are waiting on something or someone," She commented not wanting to look at the staff table.

"I never said I liked the dark," Teagen pressed, snickering. Why shadows, anyway? Why not A special room of some-sort? Or A broomcloset in the least fashionable. Shadows.. Anyone could just pop out at you. Crooked grin playing against his lips, he gave A small squeeze of her hand as her thumb rubbed against the back of his.

And cayden copied off his air quotes. How did he not see that coming. "Be careful now, Parana might just each you alive when your back's turned." And before he knew it, the boy was choking. One what? Maybe ice. But he couldn't help laughing! Even saying the name out loud tried killing you. Snickering, he eyed Cayden lightly, wondering when he was going to pass out form loss of air. But he seemed to make it, as he started talking again. "Yeah, that's what I thought."

Seth nodded his head when Cayden stated that it would be a real shame to be blind. Well, of course it would. You would not be able to see (obviously), and being that you could see before being blind would just be horrible. Life probably wouldn’t be worth living anymore, though he did have to give the people that were blind some props. But then again, he’d be the one wearing that blinding colour. “Yeah, I agree. Luckily the uniform colours here aren’t that bright at all. I mean, can you image Slytherin green being this nasty lime green colour? It’d look like somebody had lost their lunch and ... yeah. You get the picture.” Hopefully.

Clearly he had said something wrong with assuming that Cayden and Asteira were related. Whoops. “Sorry ‘bout that, but I just assumed ... you know, with having the same last name and all. So chillax, dude. It was a simple mistake. No harm done, right?” the Hufflepuff replied smoothly, raising an eyebrow. “Uh huh. That sure makes sense. You know her, but you don’t. I guess she must’ve found you boring because I’m sure that she would’ve gotten to know you fairly well.” Lucky guy....

He couldn’t help but snort when the Slytherin said that he said that being here was, so far, fun. Yeah, whatever. “I suppose it all depends on how you look at it,” Seth said seriously. “To some Hogwarts is alright, and to others it’s just a waste of space. I’m more of a neutral person, as there are some interesting people here but things do tend to get dead boring as it is a school and all that. But like I said, it depends really.”

But mainly it just sucks being here when a certain someone abandoned you.

"Hey Amanda, what's up?" Trey asked her. He had to duck out of the compartment for a bit to try and score some food from the food cart earlier that evening. But he never got around to it, as some Gryffindor girl purchased all the chocolate frogs while he was trying to stop a little scuffle. He had returned to the cart only to see the window shattered and someone curled up in the corner rocking. That was sign enough for Trey to stay away.

First his stomach and now Paris' and anothers. Were they talking to each other or something? "Hey Paris, I don't suppose you have a little explosion that will provide some food do ya?" He asked her with a little wink. "I believe our stomachs are carrying on a pretty good conversation." He said as right on cue, his stomach let out a big gurgle. Trey shook his head as he placed his hand on his stomach. As if that was going to quiet it.

"Oh not much, just catching up with my friends. Did you see me curled up in the corner, rocking in the compartment?" Amanda asked, biting her lip. She hoped that he didn't see it, cause then she'd have to explain why she did that.

" Just a few.." He laughed lightly as she named off a list of people he was sure was most likely the people sitting around them even though he wasnt sure which name belonged to who. He glanced towards the staff table then back at Paris. " My bet would be someone." He said .

Miranda had squeezed into an empty spot at the Slytherin table. Slytherin! Her father and brother would be so proud! She looked around at all the new faces, and all the food!

"Goodness...it's like a holiday!!"

Oh excellent. Camira could tell Amanda would go along with this. "Alright, here's what I'm thinking. A friendly competition amongst the Slytherins. Just a few of us. And whoever is 1st place in terms of earning points will get to request a favor or service from everyone else involved. What do you think?" It was brilliant.

Camira gave Whitney a sly grin. "Of course you get to know. But I haven't figured it all out yet. I'll need Dominic's help, probably." she was pleased that Whitney was commited to doing her schooling. "That's great. We can keep each other in check if you'd like. In case we get lazy." Maybe Whitney would decline. They didn't know each other that well, after all. But they were Slytherins and Slytherins liked to win so maybe she would.

And now a cheeky response from a Huffie boy. Who was looking at her quite strangely. It was always the Huffies. "I'm quite fine, thank you", she said curtly, giving him a disapproving glance. A well, if he got out of hand, Kayla was there. She could sort him out. It would be amusing to watch, that was for sure.


Camira turned her head over to Kayla when she heard her name being said. Huh? Wha? Oh, introductions. Fun. "Hi there. Nice to meet you, Cayden", she said, putting on her charming smile.

Ah. Right. Nico. "Oh. right." What else was she supposed to say. Ugh. And now she wanted to know what Camira was thinking. "Just about OWls", she covered quickly. OWLs could definitely make people sad.

Camira chuckled at Kayla's reaction to Spock's antics. He was so awesome, breaking the tension like that. "I got him last year. He was still a pup. Covered Nico completely with mud", she said, voice faltering a bit at the end.

Oh dear. This kid knew Dominic and hated him already? Well, Dominic did make it pretty easy for people to hate him. But Camira was not giving him that satisfaction. "I don't hate him, no. So you guessed wrong. I know he seems like a horrid person, but he does have his moments of....uh, decentness." It was definitely not friendliness. That was for sure.

"Uh, I last saw him in Diagon Alley." Was this kid going to stalk him or something?

She looked up at Trey and smiled. He was alright right time, to stop her from going insane around this place. She should bottle and sell whatever it wast that he had. She could make a fortune. "No, but I wish now that I did." She giggled. "But you know that is a good idea. I should try that sometime." She would have to figure out...well she could go back to her room, she hoped they had rooms..and figure out how to do that. It would come in handy. "Trey this is my boyfriend Caden Xander, but he goes by Xander." She explained.

She looked at Xander. "And Xander this is one of my misfits. Trey." She said with a giggle. She would introduce him to everyone that she knew, well the ones that she was friends with. Or at least in a amicable working relationship with. She saw him looking at the staff table and her face darkened. "Well I guess all we can do is wait." She said tightly.

"Oh that's absolutely brilliant Camira! I'm totally in." Amanda said with a devilish smirk on her lips. That was absolutely wicked, she wanted to just show that she was the best.

"Oh my..." blurted out of his mouth before he could stop himself. He had seen someone, but didn't know it was her. But should he even bring it up? "That was you?" He asked quickly. Well his mind was working on it's own today, just saying what it wanted to say apparently. "I saw you then, and a bunch of shattered glass. I thought better of it to return. I'm sorry." There wasn't much to be said. It was a scary sight from the hall and he wasn't sure if he really wanted to know what had all went down.

"A food bomb would be your best seller. Perhaps not so much of a boom though." He said as his mind wandered slightly to the thought of someone setting off a food bomb for dinner and the food flying everywhere, sticking to the walls and all. Next thing Trey knew he was being introduced to someone new. He shook his head as if to get the crazy thought out and extended his hand out. "Pleasure to meet ya Xander. As Paris said, I am on of the soon to be famous Misfits. But I'm sure you probably already know all about us." And with that statement, he took out his shades and put them on as he had did back at the Alley. He held his pose for a few seconds for effect.

"Oh is that the deal is it?" Kayla asked with a smirk on her face. She rolled her eyes again at him. "Yeah sure you are Cayden" she suppressed a smile as she took another sip of her drink. "That's exactly my point, you play too nice. It takes a special kind of girl to keep up with you Mr Blood" Kayla raised her glass to him.

"Sorry I forget not everyone is as bad as I am" she chuckled lightly. "But it's cool that you have the same interests always good to have things in common." Kayla shrugged at Paris' apology. "Oh well there is always the holidays isn't there?"

"Well Hurricane Camira came through and broke the glass, I screamed and cried and got hit pretty badly. I went like that because of the fact that I was almost kidnapped at 7 years old and the kidnapper broke the window, so anytime I hear glass shattering, I basically go crazy in a bad way." Amanda said honestly, explaining to Trey why she reacted the way she did.

The torch light spilled like oil onto the flagstone floor, where suits of armour stood guarding the arched doorways on either side of the entrance. Matilda Adele Dem Mc’nuland (occasionally called MAD Mc’nuland) had immediately forgotten about her gruffness. She had stared wide-eyed at the marble staircase that lead to the upper floors. The ceiling was non-existent and Hogwarts was grand. Matilda had always imagined it as a rickety old castle on the verge of collapsing from the over-use of magic. It was something else entirely. The very sight of it was so magnificent that Matilda had been halfway across the hall before she was aware. She remembered feeling embarrassed and scurried back to the line of first years promptly being led to The Great Hall.

Matilda would have described that, too. But that could wait until another day, for the Sorting Hat only appeared at the top of the stool once in a year. It was a dusty thing, sitting on a dusty chair with a dusty fringe and covered in bad stitching. It sang in bad rhymes. She remembered being crippled by nervousness when the sorting ceremony started. The truth have been told, Matilda did not particularly care which house she would land in. She had been worried about her lacking height and wondered if she could climb the stupid stool without inviting laughter.

She remembered feeling rather doleful when she recalled her mother said the house of snakes looked down on half-bloods. It seemed the more she learned about the school, the less she liked it. She remembered dying of hunger and said pointedly and miserably that the staffs are devouring it like trolls before hibernation…

The food ought to come soon.

The Slytherin first year forgot to remember when the feast started at last. Food was conjured onto the silver and golden plates and Matilda crammed hers in the way that suggested it was swell and it was free. Perhaps MAD Mc'nuland did not dislike Hogwarts as much as she thought.
