Camira nodded gravely. "There is and he loves taking points. I'm going to do my best to stay away from him...except for classes, of course." Her face took on a puzzled look as Seymour mentioned the new Herbology teacher. "What? I think she's great. She already gave me two points." It was strange. She had heard other Slytherins murmuring about her disdainfully. She'd have to get to the bottom of that, if for no other reason than to satisfy her curiosity.

Oh God. He did not look good at all. Okay, think. A Beozar! That's what she needed. But where in the world did she get one of those? The potions professor? And would Seymour last that long? How had this happened? Who would try to poison them. "It's okay, Seymour. Just hold on. I'm going to get help", she whispered comfortingly, frantically standing up and scanning the room. He was at the staff table, right? She was sure she'd seen him there.

Oof. Points-taking professors. He'd have to be extra careful in DADA from now on-- the previous professor could be strict, but was mostly nice. At the mention of the herbology professor, Seymour blinked slightly. "She?" Last time he checked, the herbology professor had NOT ben a she. But, of course, he could've been wrong. He liked to keep his distance from... he? she? it?...anyway.

"T-tell her I...I love her, Camira... and... and tell Will..." he wheezed, shaking his head, and stopped moving altogether. Exactly how far could he get with this? And what was she looking for? And what would Will think?

Now Camira was confused. "Yes, She. I forget her name, but she seems very nice. Maybe you met someone else?" That would definitely make more sense. She didn't seem like a zombie.

Okay, she needed to stop staring at take action. She was not going to let Seymour die. "I'm taking you to a Professor", was all the warning she gave before she pointed her wand at him. "Mobilicorpus", she said quickly, hoping to levitate Seymour to the staff table as soon as possible. Like now!

Seymour's eyes widened as he was levitated, looking down at Camira. Eeeps. Maybe this was going too far. "C-camira... You can put me down now. I'll... I'll be okay," he squeaked, looking down at the the ground. Anyway, he was hungry. He didn't need medical attention! Taking advantage of the view, he squinted across the Great Hall, looking for Cela. He could only hope she wouldn't see him.

Wha?! One minute he was dying and now he was alright? Was levitation a cure for certain types of poisoning? Why hadn't she read about or heard of this before? She hesitated slightly before carefully lowering him back into his seat. "Are you sure you're alright? I think you should get checked out anyway. Poisoning is serious." Which reminded her. She pointed her wand at the seemingly innocent, but obviously evil cherries and muttered a quick "Evanesco." She didn't want anyone else dying. Or almost dying, as the case was here. She still didn't understand how Seymour had recovered so quickly. Something was weird.

Seymour smiled weakly at Camira, taking a shaky sip of pumpkin juice. "Yes, ma'am. I'm fine. T-trust me." Idiot. What had he gotten into? He gigglesnorted. Now it was time to ask an age-old question-- WWWD (What Would Will Do)? Well, Will wouldn't get into this mess to begin with, would he, genius? he scolded himself mentally, looking up at Camira and giving her puppy-dog eyes and an innocent smile. "Please, have a seat, ma'am."

Camira eyed him suspiciously for one more moment before giving him a smile. "Well, alright. As long as you're okay. But if you start to feel unwell, you must let me know immediately. Promise?" Maybe he had mistaken the taste of the cherry as poison? Or maybe it caused his stomach pain which he mistook for poison? She'd have to ask later about levitation as a possible treatment for certain poisons. Or in the alternative, very short acting poisons.

Feeling relieved, she took a sip of her pumpkin juice. "Oh, and Seymour, there's no need to call me ma'am. You can just call me Camira", she said affectionately. She'd never had a brother or sister. She wondered if this is what it was like.

Seymour nodded brightly, hoping she'd just forget about all this. "Yes, ma'am. I'll do so." He finished his chicken, relieved. He'd just dodged a bullet, for sure. Haha. Level up! He turned and beamed at Camira, swinging his legs under the table. "What were we talking about?"

He reddened slightly, grinning. "Yes, ma'am," he squeaked, pouring himself some more pumpkin juice and taking a sip. Absently, he sighed-- whether distressed or contented, even he wasn't quite sure. He was enjoying Camira's company... but Hogwarts just wasn't the same without Will. Oh well.

Poppy shrugged.

Then thought better of it. "My.." Ugh, this was gonna sound SO stupid. "Someone's stolen my toy panda." Mmhmm. The younger girl was possibly going to freak out.

Well, at least she wasn't going strange on her, yet.

Jack stared at Sakura "Ehm, Sakura, what you doing?" he asked as he stared at the prefect.

It was hard concentrating on what that first year girl was saying when there were ghosts around. Clifford just wanted to see what it'd feel like to poke them! Teehee.

He shrugged and waved one dismissive hand at her apology and explanation for being mean. "Don't worry about it, kid." He said, managing a small smile as he helped Orion back in his pocket. The ghosties might scare him! And he'd had quite enough breadsticks. Uh huh.

It wasn't very cool being told you weren't a very good role model during your first year as Prefect - especially when he already thought he wasn't good enough for the job - but he'd forgive the kid. They were only firsties after all. "Just ... don't do it again. Us Slytherin's are meant to stick together, not bring eachother down."

"Yes sir." Sakura said with a small smile before turning back to Jack. "I was apologizing for what Ruby and I said about him. It was wrong of us, even I can occasionally admit to being wrong." Sakura said with a small smile before walking over to him again, placing her head on his shoulder once more.

"Oh yes." Freya said with a laugh, "I'm guessing the same area that I thought about applying for? Right now I'm wondering if I really do want to go for healing or continue the work I've already done." It would be a waste to stop now after all. "I even managed to grab a few of my mother's notes while I visited." 'Ugh...'

Freya nodded, "The job was good, I was busy pretty much the entire time. Otherwise I would have gone crazy." She pushed a few food items around on her plate. Freya gave a harsh laugh, "If you would have done that to me? Hmm, well, I suppose I would have given you a smack to the head. But you know better, or you should anyway." Freya rolled her eyes, "Yeah, wow, some giant you are. I finished up with my growth spurts last year I think. You still have a few more inches until you are my height. And no, I'm not interested...in anyone or anything for that matter." She added for good measure and to sweep away any doubt.

Theo's little legs swung happily as he munched on spoonfuls of mashed potato. He thought he ought to have something else like a sausage, but he really didn't fancy it. He took a sip of the pumpkin juice, to wash down the lumpy goodness. He gazed around to see if he recognised anyone. He didn't really. Camira was talking to a boy. An unknown boy.

He gazed upon Eddie hanging upside down from Theo's goblet. Eddie was a weird thing. But Theo loved him. He would squidge him if he could. But if Theo squidged too hard Eddie would die, like a tomato.

Miranda smiled back. "Really? I'm glad to hear that. I just want to do well. And it's my first time away from home, and Simon, and Father." She shrugged. "Thank you, Tanjiro. I'll remember you said that." she said winking.

Looking at her empty plate, she sighed. "I don't think I could eat another bite!!"

"Relax, kiddo." Evangeline told the little firstie who had screamed and that was now hiding behind her back. Oh goodness. Okay - so the idea of a ghost floating around was pretty freaky, but he wasnt THAT scary! Honestly. "He's a ghost .. he can't hurt you. Okay?" She told him softly, hoping it'd relax him.


Unlike the kid hiding behind her, Clifford didnt seem to be scared of the ghost and Evangeline chuckled when he said Bloody Baron was a cool name. There was no denial that was the Bloody Baron. The stains of silver blood on his robe proved that.

The Slytherin ghost was there! How wicked was that?

He really was as grim and terrifying as he was described in Hogwarts: A History and Evangeline looked around the hall for a bit. If they had a ghost, did that mean the other houses had one too? It seemed so. There really was no mistaken the silver-y, transparent figures floating around. "How awesome is that there are ghosts floating around?" She asked Clifford with an excited bounce.

Squeeeee!

He was glad Evangeline wasn't afraid of the ghosts like that firstie was, anymore screeching in his ears and he'd have to shove as much of the feast as he could in his pockets and do a runner. Screeching really did hurt his brain.

Like him though, Evangeline thought it was pretty cool that the ghosts had mysteriously returned, and Clifford bounced along with her. "I've seen loadsa ghosts." He informed proudly with a nod. "Cornwall is meant to be one of the most haunted places in England." Oooooh! Spooky.

Tanjiro eyed his Slytherin teammate and raised his eyebrows after hearing what he had to say to the firsties.

He waited till his girlfriend stopped yammering away to Clifford before he nearly shouted (so he could hear) to him, "Hey, Clifford! Congratulations on making Prefect," he stuck out his right hand for a thumbs-up. "Just a quick question. Are you trying out this term?" He was positive he would, but he had to be sure.

Theo thrust his fingers in his ears, "You don't need to shout," he called to the shouting Sixth year, "He isn't that far away. I am sure he can hear you without the shouting." He took his fingers back out of his ears and picked up his fork again.

Shana Thought that she would find her best inner slytherin at the slytherin house table.So thats where she went.She sat down by herself and looked around for someone she knew she didn't find anyone.So she sat trying to find her inner slytherin.She still could get that stupid song out of her head and sh started humming it Dum Dee Dum Dee Dum Dee Dum Dum Dum Dum.How she hated that annoying person in the hallway singing that.

Jack smiled at Sakura, he liked that she had the guts to say sorry.

Having pretty much never seen a ghost in her entire life, Evangeline was really thrilled about all the ghosts floating around. Especially since these ghosts were famous! She had read about them in books! And ... and they were old! As in ancient. It was amazing to think of everything they had seen.

Hmmm. She wondered where they had been.

"Really?" She asked surprised when Clifford told her Cornwall was meant to be one of the most haunted place in England. She had never known that. But then again, she had never been in Cornwall. Hmmm. "That's awesome! Do you have ghosts in your house?"

Nancy was still slightly dumbfounded by the fact that their Potions professor had actually become the new headmaster. Not that she didn't like him or anything, no, it was just that he wasn't that, well, organized and stuff. Okay, she was actually wondering whether he was able to find the way to his new office or not. He probably had a map to help him, though.

As Nancy's attention was still caught by thoughts around the new headmaster while she kept on staring at the table in front of her like something would grow out of it, which could theoretically come true, though, right? It was made out of wood after all. Either way, there was no need ot think about Herbology this soon. Eep. Okay, too late but whatever.

Desperately trying to find something else to occupy herself and her brain with Nancy's blue eyes once again scanned the Slytherin House Table for someone she knew and this time they actually spotted a familiar face: Shana. Getting up quickly to walk over to where she was sitting Nancy plopped down next to her with a smile on her face saying, "Hey there, Shana. How d'you like Hogwarts so far?"

Shana looked up to find nancy sitting next to her.Hey Nancy! Yeah hogwarts is ok . shana said sounding a bit depressed.I would love to meet some more new people nancy you dont happen to have any friends i could meet do you ? shana was posetive nancy had some friends she could meet.Shana sat with that same depressed look on her face waiting for nancy to reply.

"Hi," she said and goes toward house table. "How are you?"She asked timidly and she sat down.
