Skylar was lost in thought about where she recognized him from when she realized he was talking to her. "um ya its cool" she answered hoping it fit the conversation. "ya slytherins, they are pretty cool." she added half heartedly she was still trying to figure out where she had seen him before. "So what did you do over the summer?" Skylar asked Jake

"Mhmm,makes sense." Whitney was rather excited now. For the first time ever,and soon,she'd see a real live duel. Between two people she actually knew 'Yay!' "Great! I love the green." Which was pretty true,sometimes it was just too much though. "Oh really? Can't wait to see it." Seeing as she didn't know about this flag,she really wanted to see it. Sounded amazing to her.

Jake notice she seem lost in her thoughts before she asked him what he did over the summer. He looked away remembering the long summer wishing he couldnt, he quickly looked back at her "not much, just hang out with friends and my younger siblings, we were going on a vacation but it got cancelled." he said to her "if you dont mind me asking, what are you so in thought about?" he asked Skylar

Skylar was caught of guard when he asked what she was thinking about "oh, um, i was.." she decided she might as well tell the truth " i was trying to figure out where i reconize you from. you seem really familiar." Skylar answered, then going back into the memories of past trying to find some clue.

"No, I did not have the pleasure of meeting Salazzar. That was done long before my time." He sighed then and, noticing she had a boyfriend near her, he rose, "It was a pleasure to meet you, Miss Greenwood. I shall see you around the school." he rose his hat to her and began his solitary float down the table once more.

"Its in my bag, I'll show it to you when we get to the dorms." Amanda said and smiled, fixing her Slytherin tie. "It was crazy, oh I got kissed when I was in Australia, I can't remember where it was exactly, but I met this guy Jamie after the show and he asked if he could kiss me and I of course said yes, merlin he was gorgeous" She said, taking out the picture and showing it to Whitney.

"Really" he asked "hmm I dont seem to remember seeing you around" he thought for a second "any idea?"

Nathaniel had known better to ask Freya too many details. He thought that he'd never get to really know Freya. "Freya.. I spent most of my summer in the water. I went Scuba diving and surfing and everything. And I'm fine. Trust me. How was the job? Did you enjoy it.?". Ow. That flick on the ear was like the first time Freya had touched him.. Hmm.. maybe she was interested in him. He brushed it off. "Freya what would you have done if I had done that to you?". He had a feeling that she would have knocked
him out of his seat had he touched her. "Push my buttons?" he laughed at her. "We both push each others buttons.". "Too short?! I'm taller than most of the boys. I'm 5'11 and not even finished growing yet!"

"Okay!" She loved looking at others possessions; when allowed of course."Oh really that's gr-" 'WHAT?!?!' Did she just hear what she thought she heard? "I'm sorry did you say you got...kissed?" What in the world was that about? 'ZEKE!' she mentally called him but it didn't work. Then she figured she would have to hear the whole story first. She wasn't going to just go off and tell him,he did hurt Amanda after all; whether she wanted to show it or not. Whitney still had to talk to him anyways. Grabbing the picture she just stared at it. Honestly,the boy was gorgeous but..."What about Zeke?" Poor girl had never been more lost in her life.

"Yeah I did, this was after I met Zeke" Amanda said, then paused when Whitney brought up Zeke. "What about him? He ignored me while he was talking to Kayla, he did hurt my feelings and frankly I'm about ready to give up." She said honestly, with a shrug. Grabbing the goblet in front of her, she took a sip of the pumpkin juice and realized what she had said to Whitney.

"Oh ok. That would be like the best thing in the world to have talked with Professor Slytherin." She nodded at the Baron. She would have loved to have talked about Professor Slytherin. "It was really nice to meet you Mr. Baron sir. Oh yes I hope so." She told him honestly. She could get along with the Baron. She gave him a smile as he tipped his hat to her.

Seeing Gabben show up he smirked. "Well well well. back from chasing..." he tapped his chin and cocked and eyebrow in mock. "Kayla?" he asked and hit his friend gently on the arm. Turning to Cam he pointed to Gabben. "Cam Gabben. Gabben Cam." he said inreverse.

Looking back at Cam he smiled. "Well friends arent really coming out of my ears either." he said recongnizing that he had never heard that expression before. Must have been a America thing. He laughe at the tought. "So miss me yet or will I have to go and make you miss me?" he asked smiling at her and winked.

"Pfft...no I would have" she re-corrected, but of course he knew nothing about her so he had no idea that yes she could put him on his butt. Hiding her smile from him and she had no plans to tell him either. "Ugh...no that's not what I meant. What I was trying to say was that Teagen would not want to snog me" and then she rolled her eyes. "What kind of fish?" she could probably well imagine which one.

Kayla caught Teagen's little smirk and groaned inwardly. "Oh wipe the smile off your face Norco, I don't want to snog you." She had to wonder why she had got her words all muddled up though. "And stop giving me nick names Teage" oh for the love of Merlin why did she even care.

Kayla rolled her eyes at the two as though they couldn't get enough of each other. "Go get a room" she muttered and looked around the table once again...hmm maybe it was time to go back to her own table.

skylar thought for a minute, then asked "did you go to any concerts over break?" she was sure that had to be it...a large group thing or something. because of course it couldn't be the other thing. No it couldn't, could it?

Whitney let out a big long sigh. Why did things have to be so complicated. "In the train? Is that when he ignored you?" If so,she had to understand that he was very lost. "I know I shouldn't be defending him but he had just told you how he felt,and you to him,but you were just walking around as if nothing had happened." To her,that wasn't normal. She was actually very shocked to even see Amanda return to the compartment. "To top it off, he was trying to get me to tell him something. To clear things up." God,she felt like a horrible friend. She was not choosing sides,because she understood both of them but...to go off and kiss another guy? "And you kissed this guy before you knew Zeke's real feelings." 'Oh God,oh God,oh God. Today will be the day I die.' All of those feelings she thought she had towards him vanished and now she was only concerned for his and Amanda's relationship...frienship. "Do you really,truly,honestly and genuinely mean that?" After all of the crap she'd given Whitney about calling Zeke cute,she better not mean that. Then she actually looked at the picture. Gorgeous guy,blah blah bl- What was that? "AND his arm is around you?' Perhaps it was more then just a kiss.

Dorn continued sitting in his chair. It was as if he waited for something to happen, one would guess. He kept looking at the staff table, half-hoping an announcement would be made to finally get him out of this torturous racket.

Penelope pretended to look scared at Freya's threat.
'I'm sure you wouldn't torment me much....much' She added grinning. She placed her concentration back to Jelly.
'Well, he applied for the Department of Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures, I assume you know which area?' She chuckled.
'He wanted and 'inside view' so to speak.;

Jake thought for a second "no, no concert" he told her "whatelse you got?"

"So you are the girl chaser! I was wondering if that was you." She enthused and grinned at Gabben. "Kyle told me about you on the train." She explained to him politely, then crossed her legs out of habit. Cam dropped her elbow from the table, then clasped her hands in her lap. It was strange how many little habits had stuck with her over the years. She abhorred the manners...still she sat here straight backed like a prim little princess.

"Well geez Kyle. Be more social and maybe they would be!" She scolded him, and rolled her eyes mockingly, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. "I missed you a lot actually, and have been wanting to go find you since I sat down in here. So if you go anywhere I'm going with." She informed him bluntly. Cam was proud that she managed not even to blush at that. SCORE! She thought giddily, still smiling.

'This is going to drive me nuts' skylar thought to herself. Out loud she asked Jake "did you go anywhere interesting?" maybe this will help...or maybe not.

"Well let me explain something here, I was confused because I thought that he liked me more than he actually did. So my feelings got slightly hurt there, but I left the compartment and I cried.. I cried for 15 minutes straight then fixed my makeup so you wouldn't be able to tell." Amanda said, honestly, taking a breath before continued. "I only kissed Jamie once, its not a huge thing and anyways its not like I'm ever going to see him again. Zeke told me that he wanted to take things slow, and I knew that meant being friends, so why can't I be allowed to kiss one guy when I'm only Zeke's friend. I sorta mean that, I mean I just don't want to be confused then hurt." She said, frowning slightly. "Oh and yes, that's his arm around me, I didn't have to wait to be kissed by someone." She said with a smirk.

Shaking his head Kyle looked up at Gabbe and shook his head. "Look what Im dealing with." he said cocking an eyebrow and throwing his head in the direction of Cam. He laughed at what she said. "Well I must admit since you did that I missed you as well. Or I would ignore you and not have come over." he said smiling and wiggled his eyebrows in a joking way. "Ok but we got to make some friends." he said sternly in a father type mood. He smiled flashing his teeth. He leaned back against the table and looked at the first year beside him. He laughed at the young boy who looked frightened to death. "I swear they werent that small at Drumstrang." he muttered and looked back at Cam running a hand through his hair to get the hair out of his eyes. He'd have to cut it soon. But he liked it the way it was.. besides the hair in eye problem.

Jake thought for another second "ummm like I said my vacation was cancelled so no, I dont think so" he told her. Jake wondered why she thinks she has seen him before, he was sure if he had seen her he would have remembered he sighed and said "umm where else do you think might you remember me from" he ask stroking Will behind the ear.

Now Skylar was getting fustrated, she was sure she saw him before, or maybe not " you know what, maybe i'm just losing my mind." She told Jake. I really need to get my head together if i'm ever going to figure things out.

"He loves it, don't let him fool you." Cam informed Gabben lightly. She did give Kyle a lot of crap, but he knew she was only teasing. Right? As he'd said he wouldn't be here if it really bothered him. After all, they both knew by that time that the 'boy' speech had been a joke. She'd make a horrid guy with the leg crossing an straight back stuff. Guys just weren't that rigid.

"Got to do we? What? Are we supposed to give one another friend quota's of the day? 'If you don't have at least three new friends by tomorrow at this time you owe me six chocolate frogs,' sort of thing?" She inquired with a laugh. Actually, that did sound pretty fun. Cam was considering actually doing it when he looked over at a first year, she followed his gaze then laughed once more.

"Of course they weren't. Especially not first years like Kyle Montgomery. Because I don't doubt for a second that the great Kyle was born tall and handsome. He never had an awkward phase right?!" She teased him, her large blue eyes sparkling. Maybe she was a bit mean, but he made it entirely too easy. At least she'd thrown a compliment in with this one.
