Shaking a disgruntled head, Clifford snuggled Orion closer in his lap, protecting him from all the crazzeh people. He was only small! He could get frightened easily. If anyone frightened his Orion ... hmpf, they'd regret it.
His eyes widened at Evangeline's words about asking Mrs Green to cook fish next time he was there. GASP! Mean! "I'd still eat it.." He admitted shyly, looking down at Orion, watching as he enjoyed the tickling Evangeline was giving him. Spoiled little owl. "I'd eat flobberworms if Mrs Green cooked them for me." He liked Mrs Green.. and he'd feel bad turning anything away from her!
"Does - Does she really like me?" He finished, cheeks reddening a little.
A boy had a fork up his nose and the staff all had their shoelaces tied up? What on earth? That was too much .. even for Hogwarts. She looked at the girl and then to the staff table. Hmmm. It looked like it was already taken care of and Evangeline simply shrugged.
Letting Orion eat the entire bread stick, she cocked an eyebrow upwards as she watched Clifford closely. "Please do not tell me you have a crush on my Mother.." She said jokingly, though in fact she did wonder. That'd be awkward. Reaaaally awkward.
But it seemed it was true when Clifford asked her if her Mum really liked him and .. and blushed!! Oh goodness.
"Erm ... yeah, she does." She quietly mumbled, looking at him through worried eyes. Surely she was just overthinking it, right? Right.
She hoped so. |

Slowly rising from the floor up, the Bloody Baron found himself sitting in the middle of one side of the Slytherin House Table. He looked from side to side and peered around the rest of the table. Were these the students who were determined to be good enough for the Noble House of Slytherin? He doubted it.

"I mean, no offense to Mrs Green or anything, but I think she's a tad too ... old for me, y'know." Not that he'd let that stop him having crushes on older women before.. cough. Sure, Mrs Green was pretty.. but that was because she was Evangeline's Mother! He thought Evangeline was pretty.. and they kinda looked alike, so yeah. Besides, he really didn't want to give Mr Green reasons to hate him, not after trying to be nice to the bloke all summer. Goodness.
"I just ... hoped I - I dunno.. made a good impression that's all." He shrugged his shoulders and unconsciously gave his hair a ruffle. Making a good impression to her parents really was important. And if she really meant it that Mrs green liked him then YAY!

"You imbeciel, you blithering fool, do you not know who I am?" He rose further, no longer seeming to sit at the table, instead he floated above it, glaring at the impertinet child, "I Am The Bloody Baron, not some Flesh Eating monster. What do they teach you that you know nothing? Is this the best Slytherin House has to offer these days?"
He looked at the remaining students at the table, daring them to speak.

Her moment was interrupted by some firstie screaming and Evangeline turned to the little boy. "Oi! No screaming at the table, lad!" She told him solemnly, her eyes growing worried nevertheless when she took in how terrified the boy looked. It was like he had seen a ghost.

Following his gaze, Evangeline found .. a ghost. What was going on?! A ghost sitting in the middle of the bench.. Was it ... could it possibly be? "Bloody Baron?" She walked up to Cam and found him screaming about being eaten. Oh god, what was up with Cam and Jake about being eaten? "Hey Cam! Whats the matter?" she said. Then followed his gaze to what looked like another ghost. "Oh. Hi there." she said, waving to the ghost.

The whole possibly having a crush on Mrs Green moment seeed to poof when Clifford's eardrums seemed to burst 'cause of someone screeching. What was with all this chaos? The Great Hall seemed to be having some sort of riot! It was crazy!
Even he wasn't stoopid enough to miss the transparent figure at the Slytherin table though, and Clifford's jaw dropped in surprise. WHOA! A ghost? How totally, freakin' awesome!
He'd seen one 'o those before, infact, they had a ghost that lived in the attic back home. His Father forbid him from going in there though. Hmpf.
"Bloody Baron?" That was what Evangeline had said, right? Was that what the ghost was called? Eh? "That's a cool name, dude."

Sakura was feeling a tiny bit bad about what she said about the prefect, so she decided to go up to him and apologize, sure they may have apologized to what looked to be his girlfriend, but she should still apologize to him. Tugging a little on his sleeve she said, "Umm I'm very sorry about the comments, my cousin and I made about you're eating habits. It was wrong of us to do so I know, it's just well normally I go along with what she says, I mean I can stand up for myself and I do have my own opinions. It's just it is the first time we are here and I don't know a lot of people, but yeah I'm really sorry." Sakura said with the most apologetic tone and facial expression that she could muster.

Paris noted the sad look on her friend's face. "Oh Poppy, whats wrong. Did you lose your gloves again?" she asked her. For some reason Poppy's pain was touching her and she didn't want to see the girl upset.
She raised an eyebrow at her sister. The owlery? That was a odd place to go. "Well I think Goliath knows enough to come here first. Dad used to send letters to Lucas all the time with Goliath." She said. Her and that little owl had a rocky relationship. Apparently as a baby she had poured her bottle all over him and the poor thing has never forgiven her. She thought he was still cute. "Well I will set those owl straight if they miss with him." Weather or not Goliath liked her he was still her father's owl and she wouldn't let anything mess with him. Goliath could hardly carry a letter with more than one page, but her dad loved him and the wee owl loved her dad. So she wasn't fussed about him.
She thought about it for a minute. "Lets just explore the whole place. There are some interesting things around her and I don't want to miss a minute of it. Well let's check out our rooms first." She told her after she thought about. They were going to be sleepy after the feast and the long train ride. Quote:

He looked at the remaining students at the table, daring them to speak. She looked at the ghost. Well at least he still has attitude, she thought. She wasn't going to say anything to him. She had her fill of adults who thought more of themselves than they ought to. She turned away from the ghost and went back to her conversation with her sister.

As Teage would complain on and on about how Cayden got to big of A head, as Cayden would nag on Teage for his Too whitty of remarks. It evened out pretty well. And at the end of all that, they still stand to be around eacother.
But but they went back to talking of Vivi's Apparently 'dull' teeth, but Teagen couldn't help but snicker at that. Not that he could say anything to them, they didn't know her. Nuzzling back to her neck, he sighed. Teage knew her well enough to get scratches all up and down his arms. Kayla looked at Teage as he spoke to her. "Oh yes Norco, you are definitely dead..." she saw no point in telling him how he was going to go. She would leave those little fantasies to herself.
She gritted her teeth at his comment on not staying mad at him and the problem was that it was true but like hell she was going to tell him that. Kayla liked the fact that Teagen, seemed to be wary of her and she wanted to keep him on his toes just like he did to her. "My wand's perfectly fine thank you Norco" she gave him a sweet smiile...but your's is going to find a place where the sun don't shine.

Cayden looked over to see a ghost at their table. He seemed to be of the slytherin kid let alone yelling at a kid who had asked the ghost not to eat him. The Baron watched the reactions with some satisfaction. At least some of the current Slytherins knew what was going on and who he was.....in some fashion or another. He watched as many looked on in amazement, whilst others turned back or continued their conversations.
"Do grow up," he told the one most scared, "how can you call yourself a Slytherin and act like that? We have STANDARDS, boy. Learn them. Live them."
He spied the staff table and thought they might be in need of a.....hello. He flew away from the Slytherin table and towards the staff table at the front of the hall.

Cam continued to sit on her bench, staring through a haze of boredom across the room. That was when she heard the terse voice of the Bloody Baron. Eesh, what a beast. Did he have to snap at everyone that way? If he hated everyone so much then why not just cross over when you die? And why was he covered in that silvery stuff? Cambri was just glad that she wasn't sitting by him. That ghost was just creepy. Sure that Gryffindor ghost with the neck problem was kind of creepy, but at least he didn't seem to be evil.
Her chin continued to rest in her hand, fingers drumming absently against her cheek. That was when the ghost left. Well good, it's about time! She thought, watching as he drifted towards the staff table. She pitied the poor staff that now had to deal with that surly being. For a moment Cam merely chewed on the inside of her cheek, then she gave up. Forget this. She'd go find someone she knew. Maybe if she went to another table she could avoid that creepy Baron ghost.
