Large quantities of food are spread before you. Whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the Hogwarts' house elves are the best in the world. The food is superb and the company is as well.

"Interesting, it is a shame that you don't play though, it would be definitely lovely if we were still fighting, cause then I'd get the chance to knock you out which needless to say I would enjoy." Amanda said, with a smirk.

"It's always the first years who seem to cause the Prefects to go mad, probably because they don't have the power to sit still for 5 seconds and not say anything or break any rules." She said, noticing how angry Kayla was getting, well she had a reason to be upset with the whole point total for Hufflepuff and the fact that people were getting detention.

Skylar walked in and took sat down at the table with her book. She looked around to see if there was any one she recognized. There wasn't. So Skylar just sat back and listened to the girls talking and thought about things.

Kevin entered the hall and made his way over to the slytherin table he was hungry he sat down and started to fill his plate and while he was doing that he saw an older hufflepuff student sitting at the table he smiled at her and shyly said "Hello"

Mackenzie walked into the Great Hall. She headed over to the Slytherin table and sat down. She saw Kevin sitting a little further down than her, but she didn't want to interuppt the conversation he was having with an older Hufflepuff. She sighed and stared blankly at the table.

Lima looked up when she heard someone new talking to her. Turning her head to the side, she saw that it was what appeared to be a First Year Slytherin. She smiled at him and said, "hello. I'm Lima." He seemed rather shy; it was cute.

Mackenzie waved back at Kevin. She started to argue with herself whether she should go sit with him or not. She decided she was going to and sat down next to him. "Hey Kevin." She then turned to the Hufflepuff. "I'm Mackenzie Fitzpatrick."

Mackenzie listened as they talked about Hogwarts. She loved the school from the moment she set foot in it. She wasn't going to say anything until she was asked a question though, or until the older Hufflepuff introduced herself.

Freya chewed her food slowly and eyed Helena, after swallowing she asked, "How do you know I was well acquainted with him?" She took a sip of hot water and tried to relax her painful back again, the throbbing would go away soon. "I'll tell you what, if the vein in my head...right here," Freya pointed to her temple, "Starts pounding and is visible while I'm in that herbology class with, Bunsbury or whatever her name is, don't talk to me, because I might just explode. The woman has no manners at all." Her blood had started to boil again even at the thought of that red-haired demon, so a change of pace would be good. "I am looking forward to Defense Against the Dark Arts this term however, the professor seems very interesting."

Helena passed over her first question and instead laughed at her other comments. Agreed. I don't think I want to see my sweet innocent Freya blowing up. I don't how my conscience will handle it. She grinned and sipped her pumpkin juice some more. Her head cocked to one side. I haven't met any of the new teachers. Helena smiled, full well would have liked to.

Freya scowled a little bit, "Fine...don't answer me I guess. But you should introduce yourself at least, it might give you a heads up of what to expect for class later on." She took another sip of her water, "I don't think I'd be doing our house any favors if I were go mad either, so I'm trying to stay calm." She smiled lightly.

'Well! Humph! Fine!' Freya thought dramatically, "I didn't necessarily mean that!" She said as Helena walked away, slight laughter in her voice. Freya rolled her eyes a little to herself and took a final drink of water before getting up with some effort and making her way back to the common room.

Noelle walked to the table rubbing her temples, she ahd just finished writing atleast 14 inch notes on Arithmancey for tommorows class. Arithmancy..comes from French..no..Russian? UGH!, she sat down at the table moodily and reached for a piece of steak stabbing it violently. Greeat, now I take anger out on food..aha! Greek! Hmm, maybe taking anger out on food does work, she pondered that thought for just a moment, oh no, that possibly cannot be mentally healthy, Noelle..I suppose talking to oneself isnt exactly mentally heal-STOP IT!, now scowling at her food she held her head up by one hand and stuffed a spoonful of mashed potatoes in her mouth.

It's ironic that we're now good friends and the guy I was sticking up for...well let's just we're not anymore."

"Well I wasn't that bad in my first year, course you didn't see that since we were fighting. I cannot believe how much conflict one small action caused, it was absolute nonsense." Amanda said, shaking her head. Well that was the truth, it was nonsense to fight for that long over one small thing. "Well, no one can top the detention I suffered through with Trelawney last term, ugh..that was just awful" She said, and felt a shudder run down her spine.
