Emiliano chuckled really loud. Thank God he was not eating anymore or a dead-line moment would have come across. "Hey...I'm planning to finish the few two assignments I have left to do...during the next two days..." He replied, quite excited about the homework himself.

His smile just widened when Kiri mentioned her mother liking the Pymgy Puff's name, Sol. "Well, I'm glad you both like it...and you're welcome" He told her gesturing a bow to Kiri.

Lina made her way into the great hall, scheming. She'd been spending quite some time on her latest potion and she wanted to know how to test it this time. It really didn't go so well last time, after all. She looked over the foods and everything there as she considered.

Shoot. The singing, they would never stop at all really so he turned all... rhyming and poetic stuffy things. The Headmaster was obviously busy as always so they made their luck turn the other way around on that one. Luckily, he wasn't screaming loudly anymore, it was probably because his throat was croaky and he felt like he had some sort of a cold. It just--it felt disgusting. So with a frown, he started saying poems slowly under his breath and then eyed the girl that had done everything in the first place. The meanie girl. RAGHH.

"Slytherin girl, cruel and mean, can you expel me, from this foolish scene?"

He twitched.

She nodded. Paris hadn't even bothered to pack her school books. Vacations were just that..vacations and she wasn't going to be doing school work when they were on holiday and she had presents to open. "Well did you at least get to enjoy the break?" She asked her.

Paris blinked at the girl's name. "Wow," She said threw her food. "That is a mouth full of a name." She said. "Starstalker?" she repeated it as if i would make more sense to her if she did. She'd never heard a name like that before. "Oh is it like the Jedi knights like Luke Skywalker?" she asked excitedly.

"I think I've got something," she said with a sigh. She pulled two vials from her pocket. "The first should be the antidote. It's very close to the original antidote, with a sedative added. The second is a throat cooling potion. It will probably help. Don't worry, I make those all the time for St. Mungo's, so I know it's fine."

Even though Evangeline loved watching the snow, she didnt exactly loved getting all soaked and cold because of it. And she also knew it wasn't really practical to simply do her homework outside because ... well, doing homework on the snow? Snort. That was a bit stupid.

But, thankfully, Hogwarts offered the perfect solution. The Great Hall with its enchanted ceiling.

With a steaming cup of hot chocolate next to her, the sixth year was sitting rather isolated from the firsties playing wizard's chest, her Charms textbooks all over the table as she attempted to do her homework.

Copernicus had been steeling himself for the moment he ran into Prefect Green again, and now here she was in the Great Hall. Better now than never. He marched right up to the table across from her.

"Er... Prefect Green? I challenge you... to.. a duel? Yes, a duel, for Professor Lupa's honor."

Oh, honestly. This was silly. When to use the unsticking charm? Well, how about when you want to unstick something, eh? Pffft. With an annoyed crinkle of her nose, Evangeline set her quill on the table and grabbed her mug, trying the hot chocolate and staring up at the ceiling. Pweeettty!!

Until someone called her name, of course.

She didn't know why, but being called Prefect Green made her go all formal and she simply looked politely confused at the Ravenclaw boy. "I beg your pardon?" He wanted to duel her? To defend Lupa's honour?

WHAT honour? Cough.

Maybe she hadn't heard him correctly?

"You want to challenge me to a duel in order to defend Lupa's honour?" She repeated even though the boy was probably going to think she was just stupid, her blue eyes surveying his face for any signs that showed he was simply joking. Because he was, right? He had to! "I'm afraid I haven't done anything to damage Professor Lupa's honour in such fashion you need to defend it.." The sixteen year old thruthfully said, setting her mug down on the table and eyeing the boy curiously. Hmmm. "I don't even know your name!"

"Copernicus Kettleburn. Fifth year Ravenclaw," he offered his hand to shake. "To be honest, I'm not really clear on it as well, but I can't afford to offend a professor at this point in the year. I have OWLs coming up, right?"

He knew it sounded so stupid, but what else was there to do? She said duel the prefect, so he would duel the prefect. "I don't want to duel so much as challenge you and let you hex me once. And we'll call you the winner and I'll have defended Lupa's loopy honor."

With a short nod at his reply, Evangeline shook the hand he was offering her. "Evangeline Green, sixth year, Slytherin ..." But then again, he seemed to already know her name. Her last name anyway. Hmmm. She pondered on his words for a moment, pressing her lips together. She could understand why he was doing it, really. "Lupa seemed to have developed some kind of crush over my boyfriend .. it must've been that." Goodness, Evangeline thought the woman was over him already! Bleh! And then she had sent a poor student to challenge her.

She had heard Lupa had taken 5000 points away from Hufflepuff for a few hours, she didn't want the same to happen to Coper ... actually, she wouldn't exactly mind. Actually, she'd be very, very happy indeed.

Deciding that that particular thought should be kept secret, Evangeline shrugged her shoulders at the Ravenclaw's boy proposal. "So, you've challenged me. Can't we just skip the entire hexing part and just say I've won? Or lost, if that'll get you in Lupa's good graces." How very un-Slytherin-y of her.

"I don't WANT to win," Copernicus put his hands up. "The prize, remember?" He thought he might hyperventilate at the thought of Lupa taking him down to the lake. EEEEEEEK! He took several deep breaths.

"Don't you want to beat me? I bet she'll leave you and your boyfriend alone if you can defeat her champion."

He didn't want to win? What kind of guy wouldn't like winning against an older girl, eh? And what prize? He hadn't mentioned any prize, had he? She pondered on whether or not to ask him about it, but then curiosity become just too strong and she cocked one eyebrow upwards at him. "What is this prize exactly?"

His last question only for a shrug in response for a few moments as she pondered on his words. Fact was, she didn't want to beat him. She couldn't care less about beating him and she really couldn't be bothered to do it. Besides, she wasn't sure if Lupa was still attracted to Clifford. She had said he had cooties, anyway! "Y'know, after her lesson ended, she said me and her could be BFF's.." HAH! "...so you're sure she asked you to challenge me?"

"It's what she SAID," Copernicus answered with absolute despair. "Do I take it that you refuse to accept my challenge? I... I don't think there's a prize if you win, actually, but I don't want to win. We can leave it at that, please." He glanced down the Slytherin table and then over toward the Ravenclaws. If he'd asked a Gryffindor, they'd be honor bound to accept the challenge, but a Slytherin who was too wily to be talked into a fight and a Ravenclaw who was too wise to win would never actually fight. "I hope you're right and she doesn't want me to fight for her."

Oh dear. Evangeline wasn't exactly sure if this guy was in his right mental shape. But then again, he probably wasn't. She didnt even want to begin to imagine what kind of things he had to put up with. Silly Lupa.

"I suppose I do refuse it, yes." The Prefect admitted with a single, firm nod, not one bit ashamed by it. Hmm. Should she? She thought it was very wise of her to just refuse to challenge someone for such a silly reason. "If you think it might get you in trouble, though, feel free to say I've accepted.." She honestly couldn't care less. As long as Lupa didnt hex her.

He laughed, although it was short and slightly bitter. "I have no idea what she'll say to anything anymore. I thought professors were supposed to be MORE sane than regular people, but so far... they're all barmy here. Ear hair curses, electric shock therapy, acting like children on a sugar binge, throwing acorns in class... flirting with students and asking them to fight each other and professors! It's too much!" He threw his hands in the air and stalked away.

Rian followed behind Tash, looking over to the Ravenclaw Table. When Tash started walking to the Slytherin table, Rian shrugged and followed her. She smiled at Tash when she looked back, then jogged a few steps to catch up with her.

Reese entered the Great Hall and quickly headed over to the Slytherin table.She was keen on keeping a low profile in here,since most of her friends knew she wasn't eating properly and if they saw her in here,they would like totally MAKE her eat.Why is she here?You ask.It's because she was hunting trying to hunt down some of her friends,but like always,they were hiding from her.So,she resorted to the Great Hall,where eventually they would show up and gobble down all the food they can eat.

Jake entered the Great Hall and scanned the Slytherin table at once for anyone he knew. Most of his friends were in Slytherin, so it made sense to check here first. Catching sight of a familiar face, Jake headed over to see Reese. He himself was very pale and had dark circles under his eyes due to his lack of sleep, still.

"Hi," he muttered, sitting next to Reese and shuffling up close.
