Reese shook it off.If Jake wanted to go days without sleeping,let it be.There was not use in bugging Jake about sleeping.It was his on decision.She watched Jake stretch and then reach for some food. Emily wandered into the great hall craving something deliciously unhealthy. Hogwarts had changed since she was last here. The professors were all a little odd then, but now? Now they were all completely bonkers! Still, at least it was Hogwarts again and not dreaded Belles school for girls. Urgh.

Sitting towards the middle of the table she took a chocolate chip cookie from the large plate in the middle of the table and bit into it. Yum scrum – at least the food was still just as good. Looking around she grabbed another and shoved it in her bag for Henrykins. She continued nibbling daintily on her cookie, listening vaguely to the conversation around her.

She was feeling nervous.
Eleanor Bluebell was feeling nervous..and , actually, kind of scared.

Of course it wasn’t the first time she felt that way. She felt nervous and scared when she told her best friend about the letter she and Evangeline had sent to Cooper, or the first time she flew into the pitch as a slytherin quidditch player.
Although, the nervous and scared feelings that she was feeling now were different.
The OWLs.
That was the unique reason why Ellie was having such feelings, because she was going to have her first one in about six hours. Yesterday nervous was a word that didn't even existed in her dictionary, but today, somehow she just couldn’t help feeling that way.
Well, honestly, the fact that her bum was still hurting( unbelievable but true) from when she fell off her broom during the flying lesson didn’t amuse her, since she was going to spend two hours sitting on a chair.

Ellie left the common room, it was killing her to be inside that place with some of her fellow house mates reviewing subjects and constantly talking about the tests.
She needed cookies.

Yeeep, that would definitely make her feel better.

Ems was busy studying her cookie with a look of slight boredom on her pale face as she tried to figure out what the devil those house elves put in them to make them so damn scrummy. She had attempted to bake her own at home and it had ended in disaster. Almost burning the kitchen to the ground and setting fire to her poor confused father's robes while she was at it! So... that was two kitchens she'd almost killed – Ellie's and her own. That had to some kind of record.

And then that got her thinking about said girl. She frowned slightly and took another bite of her cookie. It had been at least a year since she had heard from Ellie.

Glancing over at another girl who sat next to her. She looked back at her cookie.

And then it slowly dawned on her.

Her eyes went back to the girl, widening as she looked at her. Speak of the bloody devil. “Bluebell?” She said almost not quite believing it was her. And then she screeched – an earsplitting sound never before heard from the lips of Emily Greenwood. She jumped up and threw her arms around her. “Ellie! Oh my god!” Boy had she changed - Or grown more like it. “It's been so long. How are you?” She asked with a smile as she sat back down again.

Evangeline Green was bored. Yes, she was. She had done all the homework assignments she was due, there were no more classes to attend until tomorrow, Clifford was off practising Quidditch - and she was left with absolutely nothing to do. Except maybe look for Gryffindor troublemakers to take to Professors so that they could lose points, making Slytherin closer to overtake their place.

Why she was looking for them around the Slytherin house table, though, she didn't know.

But then she spotted someone she had been in a loong time, and quickly rushed to her side. "Eleanor!" She called, perhaps a bit too loudly for the girl's liking. Hah. Ellie was a fifth year, right? That meant OWLs! Why wasn't she at the Common Room freaking out like every other Slytherin? Hmmm. Knowing Eleanor Bluebell, she had even forgotten about the exams. "Where have you been hid-" Hiding, was what Evangeline meant to say .. but then she saw someone who had been hiding for a longer time.

At least, it looked like her.

The Prefect titled her head to the side in confusion, observing the pale girl next to Eleanor. "Emily?" Was .. Emily even her name? Oh dear, Evangeline hoped so.

Emily averted her eyes from both Ellie and her cookie as another girl approached the table. She recognised her instantly. Evangeline Bloody Green. The girl who seemed to have some sort of grudge against she and Henry for no apparent reason. Humph.

Resisting the temptation to roll her eyes at the interruption – everyone could change after all. She eyed the girl for a moment, homing in on the shiny badge on her robes. Double humph. What did she have that Ems didn't, eh? Aside from being at school that is. hum.

“Hello Eva.” She said with a nice fake smile. Did she mind being called Eva? Ems could not for the life of her remember. Ah well. “Long time no see. Congratulations.” She said still with the smile fixed in place. “...on the prefect thing I mean.”

Obviously, Eleanor took a seat right in front of a huge plate of chocolate cookies. Those cookies were amazing, not as amazing as her grandmother’s, but they were pretty delicious as well.
And to be honest, right now Ellie wasn’t quite caring if she was eating the best cookies around, of course they had to be good to be eaten by her, but at the moment, she just needed cookies. If Kayla Winter’s handed her a cookie right now, there were high chances that she would eat it.

When the brunette picked a cookie and took a large bite off of it, she heard someone calling her, someone whose voice she hadn’t heard in ages (well, at least it felt like it). And that almost made her spit out the cookie she had in her mouth in surprise. “Holy sacred Hippogriffs!” Ellie turned towards the girl that was sitting next to her. “You’re bac-ooh!” Emily didn’t even give the brunette time to speak, next thing Ellie noticed, was Emily’s thinner arms being wrapped around her.
Emily Greenwood was really there. Ellie was starting to struggle to breathe because of the girl’s massive hug. So she was definitely not an illusion. “Those skinny arms of yours give people a wrong impression.” The brunette said with a smile, then wrapping her arms around her friend as well.

But instant of asking those questions, or even answering to Emily’s, the brunette simply asked “ Was that a screech that came out of your mouth?”

That was interesting. When Eleanor called Evangeline’s name too loud, the sixth year didn’t like it at all, however Evangeline didn’t call Ellie’s name, she almost yelled it.
But ah well.
The brunette girl turned her eyes to Evangeline and instantaneously started to think about OWL’s again.
And to be perfectly honest that wasn't the only thing Evangeline reminded her off, but that other thing didn't really had nothing to do with the OWL's subject.

Evangeline had been through that last year. Only that in a most.. obsessed way.. maybe.
It wasn’t like she didn’t study for the tests, Merlin knew she had been studying more than her first three years at Hogwarts multiplied by four.
Er.. maybe not by four.. but that really wasn’t the point. The point was that , as unbelievable as it could sound, Ellie had spared some time per day during the last months to study in the library for the OWLs.
But of course no one needed to know that besides, who would ever think she would even go to the library on her kinda own free will?

And now, while she looked at Evangeline, she started to feel like she hadn’t studied nearly as much as she should have.
“Hello.. Evangeline.” She said with a smile, even though her nerves were slowly coming back again. “Hiding? I haven’t been hiding.” Ellie popped what was left of her cookie onto her mouth before adding. “I don’t hide.”

Not very frequently. But when she did, there was no better place to hide than the library.
Who’d look for her in there ?

Holy sacred hippogriffs? Ems giggled at her friend's surprise and the look on her face. She hugged the girl tightly. If would have been described as a bear hug had she been built like a muggle builder. Thank Merlin she wasn't!

She laughed and released her, cocking her head to the side as Ellie commented on her skinny arms. Sheesh.. talk about giving a girl a complex. Choosing to ignore it, she said. “Being a girl among five boys helps give you strength my dear Bluebell.” ...Boys who were prone to play fight like lion cubs, conveniently forgetting that the youngest Greenwood was, in fact, a girl. “Besides, when I'm an Auror it'll come in handy.” She winked.

Taken aback by her next question, the smile faded. She didn't screech, did she? Emily Greenwood did not screech. Ever. That was for girly girls like.. ur.. that weird Professor Lupa. “Urm.. no?” She said with a question in her voice unsure if she really had or not.

Oh, just one look at Emily’s face after the girl saw her and Evangeline had confirmation that it was indeed Emily. Apparently, the girl was one to hold old grudges, whereas Evangeline couldn’t even remember why she disliked the girl. Oh. It was that fat lizard of hers – Harry or something. Funnily enough, Evangeline didn’t even care anymore. Her second year was long, long gone.

She couldn’t help but to cringe lightly when the girl called her ‘Eva’, but said nothing on the matter. She didn’t really care so much anymore. Nobody called her Eva now, so she supposed so could let Emily do it. “Oh, thank you..” She smiled a bit when the girl congratulated her on her badge. People usually didn’t do that now, but of course, Emily hadn’t been there last term.

Hah.

Turning back to Eleanor, her expression grew confused once more by the look on the girl’s face. Okaaay. Clearly, Bluebell hadn’t forgotten OWLs but had studied so much she had just gone bonkers. Yes, that seemed like a good enough explanation.

“Alright then, you haven’t been hiding..” The Prefect shrugged her shoulders lightly, decided not to contradict the girl. When she had been on OWLs time, contradicting her was one dangerous thing. "How are you feeling about ... you know?" She nodded around the room, hoping the girl would understand.

OWLs examinations would take place in that same room after all.

Ok... so maybe that was a little rude. And as Ems said herself, people were prone to change. When you've been away for as long as Emily had, it was easy to forget that two years had passed inbetween. She smoothed out the look, she had been unaware she had been making, from her face and nodded as Evangeline thanked her.

She listened to the banter between she and Ellie, wondering why they were speaking in coded messages. Maybe she should leave them to it. hmmm...Maybe not. Maybe she would stay put and be nosey. Taking another bite of her cookie, she remained in her seat pretending not to be interested.

Amanda headed into the Great Hall and over to the Slytherin table, she needed to take a break from studying for finals and also wanted to get something to eat. She sat down and loaded her plate with chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy; then she poured herself some pumpkin juice and started to eat slowly.
