Turning pink, "I...I just meant, if you didn't want to go directly to the common room, we could walk around a little...I mean if you want to." stammering, she wasn't sure how to really tell him that she kind of liked him, and wanted to spend more time together...

Why do boys make it so difficult sometimes...or why am I making it so difficult, maybe it's just me. I can't get my own thoughts out properly. What makes me think they can... she thinks frustrated at herself.

"I'd like to see the Room of Requirement that Rian was talking about. Or someone said something about a mirror, and I'd like to see that too," Copernicus offered. Clearly she didnt' want to head right back upstairs, and he was more than happy to oblige. She was sort of giving him an intense look too, and he wondered if he needed to check his face for ink smears.

"Hmmm, let's see the mirror I think was on the 4th floor. I heard there's something of a blocked passage behind it, but I'm not exactly sure..." with a grin she continues "But it would be fun to check it out."

"The room of requirement is upstairs actually just down from our common room." after a moment of thought.

Lifting her lashes, a slight bit, she looks at Copernicus "Which would you like to check out first?"

Elizabeth dragged Ludo out of the room behind the portrait, her hand tightly gripped around his. Letting the portrait swing shut before she spoke again, she spun to look at him. "What was that all about?," she asked, still a little nervous after the encounter with Professor Forrester, but also curious. "I mean, you were all excited about that mirror, then he came in and kicked us out, saying it was priceless and we shouldn't play with it. So what is going on here?," she continued, pelting him with questions before she realized she had yet to drop his hand. And with the grip she had on it, he might be losing circulation or something.

Blushing, she dropped his hand, muttering, "Sorry. But I had to get you out of there before he made good on his threat." She hadn't been about to lose points for that, when she had yet to lose a single point the entire noe three terms she had been at Hogwarts. And the glower Forrester had sent them had been seriously frightening, especially if she considered how even the ghosts hadn't disturbed her since their return.

"Oh, you mean the mirror of Erised!" smiling she continues "I don't know if that is the mirror or not. This may surprise you, but I've never gone to look at it."

"Shall we go check it out, then?" she asks lifting her hand as to take his, but immediately dropping it back at her side. Don't do that! she sternly thinks to herself.

He offered his arm instead. "Yes, let's. Be on the look out for sudden attacks from anyone wearing a badge like this." He tapped his chest. "DADA hex tag."

Jack creeped up behind a ravenclaw student "Hey!" he called to him "Impedimenta" he cast at him as soon as Jack had creeped around to the front of him

Looking at his chest, "DADA hex tag...ok." Liz says taking his arm again, as they leave the corridor.

No sooner had Cope mentioned the hexing game, then he spotted a little Hufflepuff sneaking up on him. No way was he going down in front of an underclassman and Liz. He flicked his wrist. "Protego!" The spell bounced harmlessly off and down the hall.

Whew, that was a close one. He'd try a stinging hex, since it was fairly mild and might allow him to steer clear of the boy long enough to get Liz out of the hallway. "Pupugi!"

Hearing a voice behind them, Liz spins around, just in time to see Copernicus use the shield charm. Standing behind Copernicus to keep from getting hit, she inches toward the corner, but watches to see what happens.

Jack raised an eyebrow "Nice" Jack saw the spell fly at him, he jumped out of the way, he watched it go "Ok, you win" he smiled before turning his back to walk away "Pupugi" he cast as he span around again "Joking" he snorted

Copernicus believed the boy when he said the duel was over, and he turned to offer his arm to Liz again. Unfortunately, the boy had been bluffing and the stinging hex took him by surprise, striking him in the arm. "Ow," Copernicus jerked his arm back and gave the boy a surprised look. Not particularly honorable dueling play, but clever. He offered his hand to the boy. "Nice hex. I'm Kettleburn. And you are?"

"We have to go, but I am sure we'll meet again and I won't make the mistake of turning my back on you again," Copernicus laughed and offered his arm to Liz again. "Maybe we should gather our houses out by the lake and have an inter-house duel."

Walking back into the corridor with Copernicus, Liz looks around for anymore students, they could have fun with, hexing...but of course for class!
