There just weren't enough bathrooms in this school. Not enough water, either. Myrtle had played with the Prefects, she had played with the boys in their loo, she'd tortured the girls in their loo, she'd even bothered the professors during their pow-wow. And now there was nothing to do....

...except spy on the students who had surely discovered her favourite dragon by now. "Tee hee hee," Myrtle giggled to herself, hiding behind a pillar on the sixth floor opposite the position of the dragon's portrait. She had to see how things turned out, didn't she?

The library would have to wait. Juniper had planned on going to the library after eating, but then she had remembered her notes. To make a trip to the library useful, she needed her notes. And to get her notes, Juniper had to go alllll the way up to the Ravenclaw common room. Foo.

She was almost there, though. But now that Juniper was almost to her destination, she began to have second thoughts. Maybe she did not want to go to the library at all. It was much more fun to learn about streelers in a practical way. Or plants. She could go down to the greenhouses or visit Professor Bunbury or a multitude of other things that did not require going to the library, or even going all the way to the common room. And that multitude of other things she could do sounded much more appealing than sitting in the library, so far away from all the plants on the grounds and-

Juniper stopped walking. Right in the middle of the corridor, she just.. stopped. Sometimes she was thinking too much to think and walk at the same time, and this was one of those times.

The Fat Friar drifted aimlessly through the wall of the Transfiguration classroom into the Sixth Floor corridor. He'd been contemplating his words, attempting to fabricate a ghostly letter that would call a ghost's council. Very important matters needed to be discussed. Very important.

Hovering in place at the end of the hall, The Fat Friar stared off to the ceiling, gesticulating to himself while repeating his letter aloud, "... cannot allow such a discovery... a ghost's council is certainly in order... hope you'll agree to attend..."

The Fat Friar explained hurriedly. "Oh, you know, we catch up on the most recent wizard deaths and discuss our own deaths over and over again. It is quite fun, really." The Fat Friar nodded his head and questioned of her, "A stroll to the sixth floor? So far from the Hufflepuff common room? Surely the grounds would have been more suitable, no?" The Fat Friar eyed that portrait quickly and then Kayla. The Sixth floor had much too much attention being brought to it... not good. Not good at all.

She raised an eyebrow at the ghost. "Perhaps but it is rather chilly today and I'm not one for the cold weather." She noticed him look at the portrait and it finally clicked to why he was so nervous. "I'm sorry to be the one to inform you Mr Friar, but some of the students have discovered the Mirror of Erised, thanks to the help of Moaning Myrtle" she shrugged, no point in denying it.

Moving quickly down the corridor, it was not long before she and Sir Nicholas came upon the Fat Friar conversing with a student. Now slowing and coming to a stop behind the girl, the Grey Lady heard mention of the mirror that had been discovered.

"We were trying to find the Bloody Baron so that would can begin our meeting." She commented to the Hufflepuff ghost, trying to keep the strain out of her voice. "Shall we search together?"

It wasn't until Ms. Winters referenced the Mirror of Erised that he snapped back to reality. If his ghostly face could have gotten paler, it would have at that moment. "They have, have they? And... and Myrtle was the source? Oh well. That certainly changes things. Proves my point. Thank you for that information, Ms. Winters."

Upon hearing the ever-familiar voice of the Grey Lady, The Fat Friar turned his attention to the spectre and agreed, "Yes, that would be an appropriate course of action. Any idea where the Bloody Baron might be at this hour?" He was worried, definitely worried. But he didn't allow his tone to betray him and convey that emotion.

Kayla could feel something rather cold behind her and she shivered slightly as she turned to face the Grey Lady.

She looked between the ghosts for a moment as they all seemed to be rather tense. "Can I come?" she blurted out before she could stop herself. Nevermind the fact she had no idea where they were going or what they wanted to talk about but she wanted in on it.

Nick was continuing his search for the Bloody Baron. He was fairly certain he had seen him flying through the corridors earlier, and couldn't see how he could possibly be that far away. The time had come for all of the ghosts to meet together, but they had to ensure that no students or professors were about when they did meet. Perhaps the Baron knew of some place even more private than this one and was waiting for them there. "Would it be better for us to search together, or should we continue to seek him out separately?", he asked the Grey Lady and the Fat Friar.

It was very against his nature to be anything but jolly and these circumstances weren't helping much.

The Grey Lady remained silent as the Fat Friar took charge of the situation. "I agree. We should all go together." She had another thought that she did not voice aloud; this one involving students and professors alike.

Taking the initiative, she began to edge towards the stairway leading down to the fifth floor.

"Is someone looking for the Bloody Baron?" Anna asked, turning a corner and coming up on her co-prefect Kayla and several of the ghosts. "He's probably still on the fifth floor. Cale just said that he and Reese Northway were having a conversation with him a few minutes ago. If you hurry, he may still be there." Anna glanced back and forth from ghost to ghost to ghost. There was actually one there, the Hufflepuff ghost she assumed, that she'd never met before. Hopefully he wasn't anything like Peeves... The others had always seemed pretty nice, though.

She blinked as it looked like a ghostly party was going on and she wasn't invited. She spotted Anna and Kayla and she waved to them both. She was on the hunt for another place to test her bombs and she was surprised to see this many people around. "Hi everyone." She said holding tight to her messenger bag.

Well, now. That was awkward. As Juniper was standing in the middle of the corridor, debating with herself as to what she should do with her time, some ghost and the Hufflepuff prefect started up a conversation, basically right in front of her. And Juniper felt like she was eavesdropping. But she couldn't just walk away. She was still thinking about where to go. She also couldn't draw attention to herself, though, even though it wasn't her fault she was there.

But maybe.... well, she might as well go up to the Common Room. Maybe she could get a book and go read outside. That was a good compromise. And she could just walk away and act like she hadn't heard anything. But then the Grey Lady showed up. And some other ghost. With all those eyes, there was no way Juniper could get away unnoticed. She would just have to... hide behind a pillar until everybody left. And so she did.

"I agree, we should stick together," Nick said. He followed behind the Grey Lady and the Fat Friar, quickly avoiding any human contact. He heard Anna, the Gryffindor prefect, mention something about the Baron possibly being on the fifth floor, and had a feeling they were heading in the right direction.

Kayla was almost tempted to pout but thought that wouldn't be very mature. "Oh okay then, well I hope you find the Bloody Baron and that you have a good meeting" she said as she inched towards Anna, who had suddenly appeared by her side.

Kayla grabbed hold of Anna's arm and pulled the girl closer to her. "What do you say we wait until they leave and then follow them. I want to know what they are up to" she said out of the side of her mouth as she watched the ghosts disappear.

Donning his cheeriest smile, the Fat Friar waved to the students in the hall, "Good evening!" before following the other ghosts toward the staircase to the Fifth Floor. He hoped the Baron would still be looming around that area and their search would be brief.

Kayla watched as all the ghosts headed off towards the fifth floor and she turned to Paris and Anna. "Come one let's go and see what they're up to. This has something to do with the mirror and I want to know why it's back here after all these years" she grabbed both of the girls and headed to the stairs.

She nodded. "Yes I want to know whats going on around here." She said with a smirk on her face. She took Kayla's hand and started off down the corridor. She turned to another Hufflepuff boy. "Thats where the sneaky part comes in." She pointed out to him.
